441  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: what is your blackjack strategy when you have 12,14,16 Numbers in your hand? on: May 26, 2020, 12:27:10 PM
But some problems to take decision with some numbers.

1. Number 12
2. Number 14
3. Number 16

when I have these numbers I mostly take a false decision, Like if I stand then see dealer won the game, again if I hit then see there is a big card and busted

so what is the strategy you use in these cases? I am really curious to know from the blackjack experts.

It's not only about your cards, but the single open dealer card also matters. This has been my strategy for over 3 years playing Blackjack.

For soft hands (ie. your opening cards has an Ace), I'll stand if the total is >=18 else I'll hit.
For Hard hands (ie. your opening cards doesn't have an Ace), I'll stand if the total is >=17 and hit if total is <=11. But for totals between 12 to 16, I'll hit if the dealer's card is >7 else I'll stand.
I'll split if I have pairs of A or 7 or 8. I might also split 9 pairs if the dealer card is less than 5.

And yes you can couple martingale strategy as BitcoinTurk but I would suggest having a max bet limit as Martingale strategy may get you rekt.

So, if you are given with cards totalling 12-16, hit it irrespective of the dealer card if you have a soft hand because if you are dealt with a number between 1-5 you get chance to cross 17 and even if it's a high-value card like 10, you won't get busted. But if it's a hard total, you'll have to check the dealer card. And as stated above you'll have to hit if the dealer card is >7 or stand. The reason is if the dealer card is greater than 7 the dealer has a better chance of scoring a higher total. If the dealer card is less than 7, even if the dealer gets a 10 value card, the dealer has a bigger chance of getting bust as he'll have to hit again to cross 16.

Hope it helps.

sorry i want to join but don't understand the guess number

OP had thought of 5 numbers between 1-5,000. Four of them have been already found by Philip74 (4156, 1386, 1402) and paranormal.activate (1777). Only one more number to be found. So if you could guess the number you can get 50$ in your stake account

Hopefully we have very long list of cricketers invested in bitcoin as its good for them and their activities Cheesy Wink

I don't know investment is bitcoin is good for the cricketers or not. For sure, the match fixing takes place in bitcoins and other crypto currencies so there are no traces of transactions found for illegal money transfers.
I am sure every cricketers and politicians have their hidden crypto accounts.

How can you say this? Match fixing was at its peak during the 1990s, when the Sharjah Cup was being held and Mohammed Azharuddin was the Indian captain. Back then there were no Bitcoins. Bitcoin was invented at least a decade later. And nowadays, match fixing is extremely rare. Player salaries have increased by a great deal, and for them it is not worth the risk to get involved in fixing the matches.
I believe that umer didn't mean to say that match fixing and corruption never happened prior the usage of Bitcoin instead with Bitcoin it's easier and less risky to transfer the funds.
445  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: May 24, 2020, 03:55:46 PM
~
18 October to 15 November 2020 is the tournament date and i expect it to continue as scheduled.
~
I'm not sure if someone has shared it earlier, but ICC is planning to postpone the World cup T20 and these are 3 alternatives which is going to discussed as the article

1. Feb-March, 2021: The event could be held early next year but Cricket Australia is reportedly not too keen on the idea considering the Indian Premier League (IPL) will start right after. To have as many T20 matches for consecutive 3-4 months could lead to overkill. The dates also coincide with England's tour of England which is a big headache.
2. Postpone to 2022 and swap hosting rights: The idea of Cricket Australia hosting the 2021 edition of the T20 World Cup and India taking the rights for the 2022 edition has also surfaced but it has been reported that the BCCI is not too keen on the idea of this sort of a switch.
3. Australia to host 2022 T20 World Cup instead of 2020: Touted as the most feasible decision, this could see the 2020 edition being postponed by 2 years while Australia would retain the hosting rights.

So yeah ICC is also looking to put IPL before T20 World cup  Undecided
446  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Dear newbies, this is how you get merits on: May 24, 2020, 01:28:11 PM
~snip~
However, not my business... it's something else I want to tell OP:
If that is the attitude by OP, I am sure he/she did not get even any single merit from WO. They don't like bearish or spreading FUD members, most of them are ignored. That's why you always have seen this, " #stronghands "
It's true that WO gang hate FUDsters and Permabears, but that doesn't mean that they won't accept reasonable bearish arguments. OP seems to be a permabear but still have got 10+ merits from WO.
Moreover, in my personal experience, WO gang is very generous in sharing merits when you post something interesting.
447  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slots are better than Dice. on: May 24, 2020, 11:30:38 AM
I think that slots are way better than dice because of their payout structure. Lets say you are hunting 99x in dice, in this hunt you will not get paid if you hit 98x. But in slots things are different and you will get paid for every hit though you are aiming for jackpot.
I know that most of the slots pay like 80-92% of what goes into slots but still if you compare it with dice (specially hit and run method) it is more profitable in long run (although in long run you will eventually loose in both games because of house edge)
I want you to ponder upon this and please tell me how much I am right in this line of reasoning.

I don't think this is a correct method to compare the profitability of both the games. Both Slots and Dice are completely random and purely luck-based games. In luck-based games house edge is the most important factor to be compared, if you compare them, you'll find that Dice is better than Slots. Slot is the easiest way to lose your money if you are not lucky.

Blackjack still no different since you still rely to your luck. You hit when you think you'll lose because the house might just hit the right card to equate more than you have if you stand. If luck is on your side you win.

But what OP says is that you still get rewards even if you didn't hit the jackpot with slot. I'm not a fan of playing Slots though. It feels not random to me.  Grin
Blackjack is definitely not a luck-based game, if you are a bit skilled you can clearly reduce your loses even when you are unlucky. Most card games like Blackjack, Poker etc require a certain level of skill to make profits. But in Dice and Slots, there is no skill involved. So Card games and sports bets are always better than luck based games
448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My balance does not appear help on: May 24, 2020, 10:08:35 AM
OP, try to contact their support(https://support.blockchain.com/hc/en-us) or export the 12-word backup phrase to Electron Cash as suggested above. Once, you have recovered the funds, move your funds to a safer wallet preferably hardware wallets. Don't use webwallets like blockchain to store your funds as they are prone to hacks

If the address shown in your wallet is different from the address containing 0.13 BCH, it's likely that you are opening a wrong wallet.
Since OP has mentioned that he was able to access the connected Bitcoin wallet, I don't think that the OP is opening a wrong BCH wallet here.
449  Other / Meta / Re: Showing sub-sub board in first page on: May 23, 2020, 06:42:20 PM
I don't think this is needed. The child board "Wallet Software" does the job pretty nicely if you ask me. Regarding new users finding it difficult to traverse through the Childboards, I think it not necessarily needed because we have Beginners and Help for newbies to help the newbie queries and other can find the Electrum and other wallet subboards in "Wallet Software"
450  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: May 23, 2020, 06:20:17 PM
Since the Indian Govt has advised the People to learn to live with the Coronavirus, BCCI will try to find a window among the current schedule to host IPL with a minimum crowd. But considering the current scenario, I definitely don't want IPL this year as it may affect the T20 WorldCup in Australia which I am eagerly expecting for as things are better in Australia comparatively.

After Raina, Yuvraj, Bhajji, Yusuf Pathan. Uthappa joins the list.
I cannot understand why BCCI is stubborn in allowing these players to play outside as they are not even playing for the national team and why to restrict their earning opportunity Undecided.
As far as i understand, Indian Players are assets for BCCI . Almost every Indian cricketer has fair amount of fan base even the retired ones. so everything comes down the money, that's a only reason every foreign league wants Indian cricketers participation and BCCI don't want to expose them to other leagues as it effect their interest (IPL)
I don't think that the case, because no other foreign leagues take place during IPL season if I am not wrong. So BCCI doesn't have to worry about the loss of fans regarding IPL.
451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Vault coin. is it a scam? on: May 23, 2020, 02:48:56 PM
This Bitcoin Vault is most definitely a scam coin. IMO, most of the coins with a name followed by "Bitcoin***"  for example Bitcoin SV, Bitcoin Diamond etc are meant to scam users of their funds by manipulating the price of the worthless coin. So, Bitcoin Vault is no different from them either, the price is currently manipulated and pumped, they will soon dump in no time.
452  Other / Meta / Re: WHY LAUDA'S PLAGIARISM CASE HAVE SO MUCH DRAMA? on: May 23, 2020, 07:53:34 AM
Moderator's and staff are quickly banning members who plagiarize, and why does Lauda can explain about the issue? Why it's taking too much drama?
He should be perma ban! quickly as that. If that is a normal member, right now he is ban. But if it's lauda he can explain?

It takes a few days for the mods to ban a user for plagiarism. In my case, when I reported someone (ansi), it took nearly 2 weeks. Why this much drama? Because most who got fucked by her want her to burn immediately and some of those who want to please her want her to be free, that's all. IMO, a temp ban + a Sig Ban seems to be the most sensible approach. So just give some time for the Mods to deal with it and then we can have a whole new drama.
453  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FortuneJack Booongo Tourney shenanigans on: May 23, 2020, 06:57:29 AM
Then as we get into the last 2 days, I'm locked out.  Not out of Fortunejack, not out of all Booongo games, just the 4 games in particular I enjoyed playing.
Support gave me the usual "works on our end" and "change browsers" boiler plate, which I did to no avail.  I even logged in from mobile account.

Getting no help, and suspecting something amiss, I make a new account and low and behold, this account has no problem logging on to those 4 games and playing.

Pretty convenient that as we hit the final stretch and after playing 1000's and 1000's of spins, I'm suddenly unable to keep my top 10 position. Sounds like this tournament is stacked against unapproved accounts getting into the top 10.

Anyone ever had an issue like this?

Are you claiming that your account has been blacklisted for 4 particular games? I have never experienced such an issue with Fortunejack or any other site as of now. My experience with FortuneJack is very smooth, haven't faced any issues.
Do you have any proof like a video recording or something to show that you have been locked out of specific games?
454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bubbalex and Cartesi team kept to bounty promise, thumbs up on: May 22, 2020, 05:15:43 PM
kindly Note that i have not received My rewards on cartesi. in as much that i have followed that project and know that it is a great and trusted project, i believed they will deliver and also will make payment sooner or later. Also, Bubbalex has been a trusted fellow in bounty activities. he is a strict and standard person when it comes to sorting out projects that requires marketing.
Until i received my payment. till then.
As far as I see from your post history here(https://bitcointalk.org/gettopics.php?user=2348967&posts), you haven't participated in the Cartesi Bounty Campaign. Then how do you expect to receive your rewards 🤔 Did you join the bounty with your alt account?
455  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you pick slots? on: May 22, 2020, 04:24:35 PM
How do you choose which one to play? By best-known developers, most popular, high RTP-s, min bets?

Personally, I don't prefer luck-based casino games and I clearly don't have much knowledge on how play slots to devise a good strategy (if there is one). But if I were to choose, I'll probably be looking for low RTP and minimum bet slots. I really don't care about the developers or how popular the slot is, as long as I enjoy the game, I am fine.
456  Economy / Reputation / Re: Royse777 scammer supporter - covid 19 run by scammers and scammer supporters on: May 22, 2020, 06:24:45 AM
@Royse I think you should ignore this thread and not involve yourself any further in this stupid accusation. I sure that all those have donated for the cause and other reasonable members are satisfied with the way you handled the funds. So unless you see a valid accusation, just ignore it.
457  Other / Meta / Re: Report plagiarism (copy/paste) here. Mods: please give temp or permban as needed on: May 21, 2020, 06:40:03 PM
@bitcoinchan You might possibly be an alt but it's really something to go after 26k+ posts and check for plagiarism. Outstanding effort.
But I wouldn't want Lauda to be banned for this reason, she has contributed a lot to the forum apart from these. I think a Signature ban would do.
458  Economy / Reputation / Re: bitcointalk account seller. on: May 21, 2020, 06:02:36 PM
I think feedbacks are not necessary in this case. From the LoyceV's archive, it's clear that @prexzm is the telegram account used by KarmicDemon and from Yoshie's post 2 Full Member and Jr.Member accounts are connected.

So, if one of the account, TucoRamirez is banned, the rest of the accounts should also be banned for ban evasion.

@logfiles thanks. I stand corrected.
459  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do online gamblers think about their privacy and anonymity? on: May 21, 2020, 05:20:11 PM

I would like to ask the Bitcointalk gambling community if how many of you here play on KYC less online casinos?
Ofcourse, privacy is one of the main reason to use Bitcoin for online gambling. Moreover, gambling in some countries is yet to be legalised so there might be a problem when you access a fiat based online casino regarding deposits and withdrawals.

Please add more if I missed your favorite anonymous online gambling platform

460  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Effect of the Bitcoin Halving on Online Casinos on: May 21, 2020, 07:30:13 AM
That should have been "Bitcoin Casinos Are More Secure". Hackers unable to access your personal wallet because they don't have the private key doesn't mean you are already safe. Remember that even some Bitcoin casinos require KYC verification now and if hackers got a hold of your personal info, you are still be a potential target especially if they found out that you hold a large sum of Bitcoins.

Tbh, I somewhat agree to what was stated in the blog you have mentioned although Bitcoin halving has nothing to do with it. As you have stated only some bitcoin casinos require KYC others don't while almost all Fiat-based casinos required KYC including debit/credit card details which is far worse when compared to the KYC of Bitcoin casinos.
As robelneo mentioned, the transfer fee is sometimes high when the Bitcoin price is soaring, but if you see in the long run, with lightning adoption and such the transfer fee will become almost negligible. IMO, Bitcoin casinos are far better when compared to Fiat-based casinos in almost all aspects.
