1) Litecoin does not have the same level of exposure to the wider market that Bitcoin does, as Bitcoin is the primary reserve currency. In the event of a market wide selloff Bitcoin would be hammered as investors rush to cash out so they can purchase items for day to day survival. Bitcoin is still the most popular gateway into a more easily spendable fiat currency, because it offers the path of least resistance.
In conclusion, I think that the greatest disservice that Litecoin's leadership and community can do themselves is self-identify as silver to Bitcoin's gold. They are signaling that Litecoin deserves a silver medal for runner up, and that Bitcoin can never be overtaken. Litecoin is effectively throwing away a very real opportunity to become 'Facebook to Bitcoin's Myspace'.

The bottom will be $5348.67 on Sep 26th 2018 at 16:45:34 UTC. Give or take a second. It's a rough estimate after all... Hard to say about the peak though. Somewhere between Feb 2019 and Apr 2058... Hope this helps.  |

I hope the Litecoin price will soon recover and can reach $ 150 which is the price when I bought in January, I still hold and wait for the right time to sell Litecoin because I'm sure the future of Litecoin will be great again.

I’m most heavily involved with ltc so I do hope that it follows the potential prediction of 1/4 value of bitcoin.
And with only 16.8million (roughly) ever to exist it could become a new gold standard and potentially be worth over 1 million $.
The number is closer to 84 million (roughly) for all LTC that will ever exist. Almost 58 mil have been mined, so we have just over 26 mil that will be mined in the future. Have no idea where you got the 16.8 mil, but I suggest you get involved even more heavily. Perhaps start by learning a few basic facts. Sorry for the sarcasm, but it was impossible to resist |
