441  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [Request] Somebody please make a physical Garlicoin AND paper wallet on: January 31, 2018, 05:18:32 PM
It has a few things going for it:

1. No ICO, no dev pre-mine, no insta-mine, no ninja-launch or any other sort of bamboozles.
2. ASIC Resistance and profitable to mine on many GPUs.
3. Regularly reaches the top of reddit r/all through the power of memes alone.
4. Devs seem to be focused on long term and discourage any talk of prices, markets, trading, etc. Currently building a video game to use GRLC.
5. Upcoming airdrop of 1 GRLC to 130,000+ interested participants from reddit
6. SegWit enabled, thus ready for LN and layer 2
7. Controlled supply (cap of 69M)

Your signature reminds me of something, but I can't quite pin it down. Roll Eyes
443  Other / Meta / Re: Palm Beach campaign query- Hope get the answer. on: January 31, 2018, 05:10:33 PM
This signature sounds weirdly familiar. Without addressing content of the advertised platform, just the similarity in design would make me think twice about it.

First step would be verifying whether or not the user has bought the account from the actual owner.
If the owner has staked an address to protect their account, upon sale, they should have provided a signed message from said staked address proofing the sale.
Can the user not provide such a message, they might have bought the account from someone who previously hacked it, thus have no right to own that account.
445  Local / Deutsch (German) / Re: Neues Forum Ranking System / Merit System (FAQ) - Was denkt ihr? on: January 31, 2018, 04:52:01 PM

Today was supposed to be HIRO! But apparently not fate with this meirite!
I was supposed to be LUGENDARY 6 months ago! But apparently not fate with this activite!

Another exemplary object lesson on why we don’t need the merits system: Posts like this are excellent!
No, wait—sorry, I got that backwards. Posts like this are garbage. This is exactly why we needs the merits system.
I like your humor. Not enough to give merit for that, but enough to point it out.
That made me chuckle, thanks for that.
447  Economy / Services / Re: ★☆★ 777Coin Signature Campaign ★☆★ (Member-Hero Accepted) on: January 31, 2018, 04:34:59 PM
Payments processed (9e18d2e375a4662fc87cbbd4f595c40e164ef23039ee509fff74ed9bf6562b29).

This will really slow down ranking, especially for users that were close to ranking up.
You've got one advantage though, you have a source reading all your posts on a bi-weekly basis.

What about higher payments because of the price of bitcoin dropping?
As payrates are set by lightlord, I can't promise you anything there.

Hei mate. You know if Legendary members are still accepted for signature ?
Let me know if you're still looking to join.
448  Local / Deutsch (German) / Re: Neues Forum Ranking System / Merit System (FAQ) - Was denkt ihr? on: January 31, 2018, 03:17:55 PM
Man benötigt 500!
1.5 Jahre dazu Zeit.
449  Economy / Gambling / Re: BETCOIN.AG - The #1 ɃTC ETH BCH LTC DASH XRP Casino Poker Sports Dice - 5 Years! on: January 31, 2018, 01:55:30 AM
- The bad beat jackpot is fully funded and ready to go and the new poker team is very excited about being able to offer this as a great opportunity to the players among many other new features and promotions. It will be very exciting and our core team will not be a part of it but we will certainly assist in marketing and advertising.
Now I trust your words, but I trust my own eyes even more. Telling me it's there is fine and all, showing me it's there is another thing.
Sign a message, proof you actually do hold the 43BTC in a seperated wallet, designated to be used for the BBJ.
That way, you'll put an end to all the questions about it and can focus on actually bringing stuff online and paying things back.

P.S., all the whiners complaining about the merit system ipso facto thus demonstrate that they are incapable of writing meritorious posts, and therefore worthless to the forum.  Make good posts, and people will notice.  Or shut up.
Some complainers (complainants? complainactingors? nobody knew English could be so complicated) are doing quite well merit-wise so apparently complaining is worth something to someone.
Complainers and complainees (like employers and employees)?
452  Economy / Services / Re: ★☆★ 777Coin Signature Campaign ★☆★ (Jr-Hero Accepted) on: January 30, 2018, 09:24:54 PM
anyone here knows when it will be the next payment ?
I was expecting it to be today or tomorrow but I just looked at the escrow address and I think there are not enough funds, so maybe we're going to have a three-week round.
I currently got 0.24BTC left in escrow, recent two week rounds were between 0.1 and 0.2, so I expect this to be sufficient to cover the outstanding payment.
Payments are going to be rolling out tomorrow morning.

also what will happen with us after the merit system?
Wait to see what Lutpin or Lightlord say.
So far, there are no planned changes.
We might have to remove junior members from the campaign due to the restrictions in signatures.
Besides that, for everyone in a member rank or higher spot, nothing changes.
453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Attention Tether owners on: January 30, 2018, 08:02:44 PM
What is really interesting - timing. If you read the Bloomberg carefully you would see:
Quote
The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission sent subpoenas on Dec. 6 to virtual-currency venue Bitfinex and Tether
So the real question why this has been arisen just now?
Or maybe the right question is why was this left out initially?

No comment blazed on your disgusting action ?
Lets talk about your disgusting actions, for a second.
Your trust page reads like a satire account (and I'm talking about the sent ones, not the received ones).
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=355462

Some of the greatest hits of feedbacks you've given:

"Lutpin and Lauda Gang" ~ negative trust to The Pharmacist.
"I don't like him." ~ negative trust to akamit.
"for giving merit in this way" ~ negative trust to klaaas.

Maybe you should start with improving your own standards.
You created garbage you will be treated like garbage
456  Other / Meta / Re: Merit & new rank requirements on: January 30, 2018, 05:46:07 PM
I need some opinion, especially from DT2 and DT1. Will guys allowed when someone is asking for a help instead of paying some reward in BTC or any amount that good in cash we will pay in sMerit?
Am pretty sure you can Merit someone for helping you with public information. You just can't say beforehand "will give out 50 merit if someone can help me" etc.
^ this
Giving merit to someone helping you is not a problem, it's as the system was intended.
When you use a promise of merit to try making your topic more attractive, things start to become problematic, however.

Hey Betcoin,

I think DarkDays and a few others are waiting on your answers.

If f*D doesn't come out with Garlicoin physicals I'll be officially upset.

and then perhaps some BG4 papersafe would be sick, too.  I'd buy
You want me to stick My Reputation and Brand Name on What? Are you out of your fucking mind?
Maybe BitElevation then Roll Eyes

459  Other / Meta / Re: Merit & new rank requirements on: January 30, 2018, 02:46:53 PM
It was just an example. My logic is what if campaign manager pay according to activity rather than rank. The whole purpose of this new system will collapse.
But your rank determines what signature you can wear, not your activity.
And campaigns care about signatures, the huge flashy ones with color, more than the small ones without anything like that.
460  Other / Meta / Re: Merit & new rank requirements on: January 30, 2018, 02:26:49 PM
Yes sure, theymos can remove links from members but bounty manager can pay the members as per his/her will. There were many campaigns where jr. member/member and full member/sr. member had same payout.
Then the campaigns are wasting their money. They will quickly catch on that it's not feasible paying a junior member that can't even link anywhere now the same as a member.
We saw newbies getting pushed out of campaigns in the past and with this change, I'm pretty sure juniors will sooner or later be excluded from most paid signatures as well.
What that means? You need to be a member (10 merit) to participate in bounties/signature campaigns. For new users, that means making quality posts.
