4401  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC- When it back to 20k on: November 03, 2019, 01:11:20 AM
If you have been waiting and haven’t done anything yet, you should wait a little longer. Since we see that the latest news positively affects the price of bitcoin and very soon you will be able to profitably sell and even make a profit.

I really appreciate and admire the OP's determination and resistance when he's still have the 2BTC to his wallet. Because in the crypto market, if you know your trapped, you shouldn't surrender as real lost comes when we accept it. There's still a huge chance of us getting our investment back and also with profit if we stay a little longer and hodl. But in my case, if ever I had lost that much investment, I will go ahead and trade my balance so while waiting, I am preparing for a big market comeback.

A lot of people fail in trading and lost a lot of money from it. In your case if youre a professional trader you will be able to minimize the chance of lossing your capital.
But in Op's edge I think he doesn't know to trade. He even made a mistake for purchasing btc in a much highee price I guess he was a victim of the btc hype when It was still on its peak.
4402  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price would touch $16K soon- By Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao on: November 02, 2019, 03:59:36 PM
Price predictions from Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao, he think it's very easy to predict about bitcoin price but just matter of time. According to him Bitcoin will touch $16K soon. And I believe prediction of "Changpeng Zhao" is more potential from some other.

I am bit confused about second part of Twitte regarding 1.4 billion people.  Does he mention about DCEP coin ? Which is going to launch by Chinese Central Bank ?

The tweet does make sense though. It's really easy to predict and anyone could predict without a proper TA. But the hardest part is the timing on when will your predictions become correct.
About the last statement Changpeng zao is chinese so he do knows what will the next move from china in cryptocurrency. 1.4Billion people can move the market to a new ath.
4403  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to restrain yourself at a small loss and not spend money. on: November 02, 2019, 01:59:00 PM
It often happens that people go out to play a variety of games of chance with a certain amount of money, but in the end they spend everything if they are gone. How to prevent which technique you base yourself on to spend no further. It's hard to just give up, people persistent in gambling that day, so they can't just tell themselves they'll try tomorrow. Why is this difficult? Is it because of greed?

There's no techniques that will work once an individual do become addicted in gambling. Because the root cause of becoming an addicted gambler is greed. People wants easy money without undergoing hardwork to become more established and stable in life. They only think gambling can solve financial problems while the reality is It will not do good in the long run. I have seen several gamblers who became broke due to excessive bets and lost of self control in gambling.
4404  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: November 02, 2019, 12:51:42 PM

That was a clutch shot by Green. I thought it was a MAVS win already but the kick out from LeBron was perfect. Respect for Green, his performance this season is exceptional.

The MAVs still needs to improve protecting their lead and closing out their game. They had a 10 point lead early in the 4th, but they let the Lakers catch up to them. Maybe one of the disadvantages of a very young team.

I think the Mavericks are still very young. They still have a lot of room to improve on that area they are lacking and closing out games is one of them. The whole team of mavericks did a good job with this game they gave the lakers and lebron a hard time winning and forcing an ot. Experience beats talent on this game.
4405  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If You Win Big Will You Remember Your Losses on: November 02, 2019, 11:58:36 AM
I don't count my losses but i learning from my mistake and changing my strategy by winning. Because if you don't learn from your losses then you will not grow and make mistake more and more.

That's why you will learn from it and make another strategy and more winnings will come for sure.

What kind of strategy in gambling are you going to change?
Like for example on the OP's scenario. I dont think it do applies a certain strategy when all you can do is hope that your selected numbers is going to win because that is a lottery.
Strategy may not always be the factor in gambling, it do depends on what type of gambling are you into.

Well people tend to forget all the losses he made once he win quite a huge prize even though It's lesser than what he have lost overall. Thats a normal human reactions while winning.
4406  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Getting scammed on: November 02, 2019, 11:08:13 AM
I got scammed by this project called temtum. Signed up for their bounty months ago, posting for their campaign, filling up 2 kyc forms and pushing for its deadline, and now they are telling me i didnt pass it. It is not only me who encountered this. Hello Richard Dennis.

Why would you risk your personal information just for a few bucks in a bounty campaign? Its not even worth it. You're just putting yourself in grave danger your personal information might be used for something illegal over the internet. If you're not aware, there are online loans that only requires a selfie with ID verification. It could be used on that transactions. Im just sighting one example although there are still a lot in the internet.
4407  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are You Concerned On Sudden Rise of Bitcoin? on: November 02, 2019, 09:37:13 AM
people knew that bitcoin is volatile since it started so they assume that this volatility will remain and it wont affect bitcoins reputation  .

sometimes the prices were just unexpected  . they fall and rise verry quick and some people start to wonder and get alarmed if those unexpected events have a drawback  . in my case i am not concerned when bitcoin increases but i will only feel happy deep inside me   .  i will only be concern if its falling  even if its given that its normal

And what price range do you consider as normal then?
I dont understand what's your concern behind the rise or fall of the btc price. Just like what you said volatility or cryptocurrency is normal. So why are your concerns when you know the price movements are just normal?
Just put it this way to avoid yourself from being bothered by the Volatility of btc, If the price will fall It's good for accumulation. And if the price will pump then that's good for selling.
4408  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin price to Asuka will be 8700$ November 2020 on: November 02, 2019, 07:07:55 AM
Who is this Asuka guy? I bet that's just another person who makes random predictions and claim they are expert on this field. People nowadays are creating false predictions just to make the investors gets confused on how manage their investment. I honestly never heard of that guy before so that makes this prediction an invalid one for me.
4409  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does the discipline help in gambling? on: November 02, 2019, 05:52:39 AM
Engaging in gambling is the first step in lossing a self discipline. Becoming addicted to it is totally lossing all your self discipline. I dont see any people who discipline themselves not lossing too much money while gambling. Instead most of them wants to have more win when greed takes over. I dont think discipline is a thing in gambling. I myself even gamble though not that much but I even considered my self as no discipline in terms of gambling.
4410  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin's Latest "Fall" Was Manipulated on: November 02, 2019, 04:54:37 AM

I've always thought that if Bitcoin was ever to hit below 3k again, we'd be fucked, I reckon a lot of people would pull out and completely give up on it (except the enthusiastic one).

No, It's not gonna happen, either btc will hit $3k or below again or people walking away from crypto market. Either of the both won't gonna happen. Let's say the price of btc is back down again at $3k I dont think people would turn their back away from accumulating more btc. People today is becoming smarter learning from their past mistakes. Btc wont just easily die, not atleast all of the pieces are mined or it might become stable. We never know.
4411  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Top Cryptocurrency Exchanges on: November 01, 2019, 11:35:26 AM
@PROPERSIX goodluck to your new exchange and for the rest of your team. People already have bad first impressions towards your exchange. The OP just had a bad approach and he shouldn't have done that at this very early when your website isn't fully operational yet.
Im not accusing you for something I just want to make it clear to you that it's gonna be better to launch your new exchange in the service section for formality.
4412  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Are trading platforms a good way to start trading? Which ones are the best? on: November 01, 2019, 10:27:20 AM
Hey traders. Did a few google search sessions and found Coingy and TradeDash.
Are these platforms safe to use?
Thank you for help
I checked Coinmarketcap and that exchange site that you mentioned in your post is not even listed there. If you want to trade and wants to trade safely, better trade using those who are already well known, good reputation and has a lot of positive feedback. I say "a lot of positive feedback" because we cant avoid those who lost money in exchange sites to comeback and post something negative to the exchange site thinking that its the sites fault that's why they suffered a loss.

Coinmarketcap lists all the exchanges which a specific coin is listed and is trading with a good volume. Everything is listed there. If you try to select a certain coin or token then click "markets" you could actually see all of the exchange where the specific coin is listed and that will give the OP an idea which trading platform is trusted and not.
4413  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do expert traders hide their loses? on: November 01, 2019, 09:28:45 AM
I kinda believed how the trading experts hide their losses and other stupid things they have done while trading. The reason why a lot of newbies lost their trading capital because they believed it was easier to become successful financially in trading crypto or stock and forex. What they fail to realize there were only small percentage of traders who become successful in this field.

Please send your btc wallets to PM, all payments will be made on Monday (4 Nov)

I cannot do 3000 posts in just one month I do have 3000 posts right now but it took me 3 years to get that number of posts, this is a proof that Cryptotalk is all for spam there is a lot of useless and redundant post just posting for the sake of posting.

More than 3500 post in just 1 month is very impossible when we're talking about quality post and follow the standard quality posting in bitcointalk. Somehow, It's possible in cryptotalk forum maybe because they have lesser standards of posting quality and gap with every post. With that total number of post Im thinking the posting gap would be less than 5 minutes. That's like a chat box instead of a forum.
4415  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: WILL CRYPTO BOOM AGAIN? on: November 01, 2019, 04:41:20 AM
Sure it's impossible to say but still... after yesterday hearing i really don't know what to think. Used to be sure Libra entry will boom the market once again but it looks like Libra's not coming shortly.
Is btc halving the most promising ''event'' we are looking forward to (at the moment)?
We should forget about Libra, it's really something far-fetched. it is under pressure from both the government and the public itself, I think it will not be possible to establish in the future when there are too many limits.
only Bitcoin Halving and ethereum 2.0 are really events we should be concerned about.

I think of China adoption as one of the important factor too for crypto booming again. Chinese president's speech brings us closer to reconsidering cryptocurrency to be opened again publicly in china and unbanning all the crypto related exchange. China as one of the most interested country in investing to cryptocurrency in asia will somehow boost the market during massive purchase of the chinese people.
4416  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do we still expect a repeat of 2017 ? on: November 01, 2019, 03:20:57 AM
The golden era of crypto may come once again, but I don't think it will happen this year! The crypto bull run can start after the Bitcoin halving which is fixed on 14 May 2020! And this time Bitcoin will surpass the previous high of 2017!  Therefore the crypto market will boost in November, but that will not be a bull run!

We might be wrong with our predictions that btc will surpass another ath on 2020 after the halving. I have been following the trend which takes place in the first and second btc halving and I noticed the market did not have the pump on the same year with the halving. November could be the start of the rise but most probably the market will be great again on 2021 and it might going to break new record of all time high.
4417  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China can easily launch a coin while Facebook is having a hard time on: November 01, 2019, 01:58:00 AM
This is one area where I think China has an edge over USA, while we have to admit that Libra is not owned by the USA Government and one of the reasons why they are kicking against it is that it puts too much power in the hands of an individual who isn't part of th Government, I also have to admit that if it were the USA trying to launch their own cryptocurrency, it would take them a while lot of time to think and execute it cos it has to has through many books and go through a bunch of approvals from different arms of Government before it's eventually implemented.

I don't think they have an edge at all.

How many people will trust the new Chinese coin enough to buy it and hold it? It's just another attempt for the Chinese govt to control their population - this time with a crypto that has a public ledge and identities tied to addresses so they can track all money.

Exactly! That's the main reason why they banned all the exchange and other btc related transactions in their country only to find out that they're planning to make their own coin. It does not make any sense deprieving the people to use btc and other alts just because they want their own to control the people financially. They might seem to have realized how blockchain technology could possibly improve their country's economy.
4418  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What scares you the most? on: November 01, 2019, 12:56:20 AM
What scares me the most is when I will miss another opportunity to make enough profit on the next occurrence of the new ath. I have missed to buy btc in 2016 and automatically regret in december 2017. So I started to accumulate more additional btc to my wallet and Im making sure it won't gonna happen again.
4419  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's still going down (Oct 26, 2019) on: October 31, 2019, 02:13:51 PM
For sure, i don't see any downtrend since the day you post the thread.
Bitcoin's price just experienced a correction just like any coins after pump and it was a usual thing. And right now bitcoin support price is already on 9k which means it is ready for next pump.
I think the next resistance price will be 10k and it will stay there for a quite long time after it breaks it

Resistance level would be around $11,000 we already touched the $10k mark and the price can easily pump closing near $10k. As of now the price is stable at $9,100 to $9,600. I can also say that there will be another set of market mini bull run breaking the resistance level anytime soon.
4420  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why did 95% of traders fail and lose money? on: October 31, 2019, 01:18:23 PM
This is like taken from the experience. As we all know a lot of the people who tried to learn and experience trading have failed because they are expecting too much which turns out to be not what they want to be as result.
That lists in the OP might be true but what I really believe why new or even the old traders usually fails is the lack of patience.
