5241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins that might survive in the future? on: September 22, 2017, 03:48:47 PM
In my opinion Eth, Litecoin, Monero will survive in the future. They are good for holding. I think that they are promising and strong. Also Waves, and ripple can be good in the future but I am not sure that much about them. Maybe waves can be good but for ripple it's lower possibility.
Yes I also think like you. Eth, Ltc and Monero are highly valued in which Eth is very potential. It is only behind Bitcoin in terms of total market capitalization, in fact Eth has been selected by investors. Their development potential is quite large. I'm not sure that all types of altcoins will last long but I believe that the potential altcoins like Eth, Ltc, Monero will survive and possibly grow for at least the next 3-4 years. These are just subjective predictions, maybe in the future will be different because no one knows in advance Cheesy

Eth is really a strong contender or a good candidate for the next trending crypto on upcoming years and i do really like on its smart contract feature which is really a unique thing for me and same goes with monero when it comes to anonymity it is much more with bitcoins anonymity for sure and as being said these coins will surely go up on upcoming years to come and this is why i do believe that they would able to survive on future years to come.
5242  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Taxless and free society? on: September 22, 2017, 01:42:09 PM
Roger Ver is announcing that he's working together with a team to build a completely free society by buying off land in US/Europe or Asia.

Live stream was here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oSF52B90xws

What do you think, can this new country be born? Could we move there in 2-3 years? Would you be interested?

Nope. My country maybe full of corrupt officials and lots of problems everywhere but I will never replace it with another country.
Same here. No matter how good does the new country on which it says its Taxless and free society.I dont really care at all and im wondering what would be the location on that place. Its seems so hard to believe to have this kind of society that would exist on this world knowing that most all government or those who rule on the top would end up on being corrupted sooner or later.
5243  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin - Can it boost or break a countries economy? on: September 19, 2017, 04:57:27 PM
Most countries are in full control of their own monetary policies and financial systems. If a alternative currency is introduced, would this improve or reduce the efficiency of a country?

Will this remove their control or would it be just another payment option, like PayPal?

Why are governments so scared of Bitcoin, if they can regulate it's use. The first defensive tool seem to be banning the technology, which in my opinion should be the last resort. Should they not analyse the threat based on proper research and public participation. < like they did in Canada > and then make harsh decisions like this?

Why are they ignoring the advantages that this technology might bring and implement extreme precautions as a primary action?

Is Bitcoin really such a big threat to them or are they just misinformed on purpose? < influenced externally by people with hidden agendas >

Let's discuss this please.
It cant boost rather it would break countries economy because if its citizens would tend to use bitcoin taxation would really be lessen and would result on instability.Knowing that government cant really do anything to control bitcoin it might be possible to impose taxes but on the way on services which do use bitcoin it can help up but would still depend if citizens would be still willing to pay up complete taxes inspite on using bitcoin.
5244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins as long-term investment ? on: September 19, 2017, 04:04:38 PM
Right now 99% of my holdings are in BTC, the other 1% ETH.

I´m looking to diversify my portfolio a little, the thing is I´m not a trader, I would like to invest in other crypto with the same mentality I follow when I buy bitcoin, which is basically buy, hodl and forget about them. Are there any altcoins that match this criteria ? Or this mentality applies mostly to bitcoin ? I don´t intent to keep checking prices every day.

I was thinking maybe 70% BTC, and 30% equally divided between LTC, ETH,RIPPLE and others.

Go for 70% bitcoin and 30% on ETH. This way its not hassle to mind on checking prices compared on having lots of coins but well its your own choice though if you do like to have lots of coin possesions rather than on ETH you can go with WAVES and LSK. I do have hopes for these coins too i can see its potential but well these suggestion arent accurate and not guaranteed but alteast we do see some hopes on this one.
5245  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Dividing your salary. on: September 19, 2017, 03:20:05 PM
After you pay all your obligations and daily needs the sum you have left you should further divide. You should always have in mind the Bitcoin is volatile and investment in Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies brings certain risk. So don't invest everything, take about 10% of the amount you have and the rest you put somwhere else.
This thing should really be always done on which before we do decide on putting up funds on bitcoin better to secure first your obligations or payables and the money left would be divided either for your pocket money then investment on bitcoin. Any investment do really comes a risk but if you can able to afford on putting huge percentage then its your choice but dont really forget on the risk behind it because here on bitcoin world anything doesnt have an assurance that things would go as we expected.
5246  Economy / Economics / Re: What happens when us and millionaires get to the top? Normal food prices go sky on: September 18, 2017, 04:52:10 PM
So if rich people that we try to reach the same money as them put their money in now to get to 1 mill per btc.  that's a lot of people that are really rich and us too but then will that affect food prices.
That wont happen knowing that theres no equality in this world when it comes to finances or state of living. There would be always people on the top, middle and to the bottom which means this situation cant really be easily removed to a level considered as equal.Think of it if all people are rich who would be the one to work? Farming, industrial and so on. No one right? because all people do have the money already they dont need to work.
5247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I invested in my first ico, now what? on: September 18, 2017, 03:50:52 PM
I just invested in my first ico, Blackmoon ico. What happens now? I'm looking to make a quick flip. What do I do with the Blackmoon tokens?
Be patient. Thats the thing you can able to do now.If you did already hold up your tokens then you cant still do anything about it since ICO isnt finished yet and those coins arent listed yet on exchanges which means you cant still sell it this is why you should really need to wait to be launched on exchanges for you to sell off but you should be fast before the price goes down or being dumped by bounty hunters.
5248  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to Bitcoin if Central Banks start issuing their own cryptocurrency? on: September 18, 2017, 02:54:56 PM
Posted today on Reuter's wire:

http://www.kitco.com/news/2017-09-17/Too-Soon-to-Determine-Risks-of-Central-Bank-Issued-Cryptocurrencies-BIS.html

They are thinking about it!  Bitcoin has made an inroad, but will it make bankers honest? Or is it just a ploy to regain control of the money supply?
Its just all the same and this news isnt really new anymore which Banks would really issue their own coin but i guess why would they do such thing and would bother to do so? It would be just like on local fiat itself if they would made their own coin and people will really still look up on a decentralized one rather than on a centralized one. They can really stop people on using such thing.

they can surely made their own Altcoins and not exactly like another bitcoin, and I think it will not be very competitive just like other Altcoins today but I think people that knows about that bank will surely use it, banks right now have a tendency to control bitcoin but they don't have the power to do so, so instead of controlling or stopping it, they will make their own.
They dont really have the power to control bitcoin and this is why they are making such step so that they would able to recruit those people on the place to use it instead specially to those people who dont have knowledge or awareness on bitcoins existence for sure they would end up on using that coins made by them but for those people who do have known about bitcoin already then they will surely neglect this thing.

5250  Economy / Economics / Re: GoodNews: Japan is finally given licence to bitcoin exchanges on: September 17, 2017, 05:40:48 PM
"Every disappointment is a blessing" - Unknown

Japan has finally joined the crypto-currency race by giving licence to crypto-currency exchanges but with regulations to avoid experiencing another market collapsed by the market e.g. Mt.Gox

Coincheck’s application approved for Japan’s new bitcoin exchange registration
https://www.cryptoninjas.net/2017/09/13/coinchecks-application-approved-japans-new-bitcoin-exchange-registration/amp/

It's actually good news when exchanges get legitimated with regulations and licenses. I don't know why so much people hate on this. If you are going to have people buying BTC using the legacy system, at least let's make it the right way so the owners of the exchanges can't scam people trying to buy BTC.

I think the next step is for China to do the same, and China will be back once again with regulated exchanges and the price will pump to $5000, but if they don't ,we don really need them, we can pump to $5000+ without chinese exchanges taking part.

Yes. So long as the Chinese government leave the mines in peace, bitcoin should do just fine without their exchanges. Besides, a lot of people there felt the bite. Imagine the beginners who left some money in those exchanges and are now having a hard time getting em out. IMHO, other countries should follow Japan's example to make those who want to buy bitcoins can do so safely.
Theres no doubt they would really follow this trend for sure.Who would be the next country would do this thing. This is indeed a good news because exchanges now are regulated and its good to avoid scam made by exchanges.
5251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty campaign on: September 17, 2017, 04:51:18 PM
How do you guys pick a signature bounty campaign? There are so many of them listed and with such different requirements, I'm lost. Now that I'm a jn member I'd like to participate but I don't know where to start!
There are really lots of Bounty campaigns as of now which would really give you confusion on where you would join but heres a tip.Never go on those campaign who do have too good to be true amounts of bounty because most likely of those project do normally fails when they didnt hit their cap which would result on making your efforts comes to waste.Checking first their whitepaper and roadmap you can able to tell if its a good project or not.
5252  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: JP Morgan is a cheat. on: September 17, 2017, 04:04:20 PM
They(not only JP Morgan) do it all the time, manipulation by news(say bad things when they want to buy, then change the tone when they want to sell) and play with inside information, specially in 3rd world countries.

Of course with bitcoin the manipulation was more explicit because there is no law against market manipulation and inside information with BTC and people know almost nothing about it, so it is easier to bullshit around and convince people.

The last days have been, let's say, didactic in this aspect.
They do really see this as an advantage this is why they do say things which actually on the things that they are doing.Just been said He said that Bitcoin is a fraud but actually behind it he do purchase bitcoins as much as he can since it was still cheap.Opposite thing indeed and later on words would really be different for sure. Its not surprising actually.
5253  Economy / Economics / Re: roll on on: September 17, 2017, 03:02:45 PM
Chinese govt has decided to ban the local bitcoin exchanges. [1] This is pretty big news considering one of large market and mining firms are located in China.
Do you think this would affect  bitcoin world and bitcoin price in negative way or positive way?  Some say china is doing so because people are bypassing the banking system and in turn the government regulation using bitcoin.

[1] http://www.marketwatch.com/story/bye-bitcoin-china-to-ban-trading-of-virtual-currencies-2017-09-11
That's right that China is one of the largest market holder and firm around the world and maybe it's a bad news because China is one of the location of the world's highest investors and investment being done. The banning of China on Bitcoin makes a negative impact especially in the Bitcoin community because we lose one of the highest investors.
If you do actually read up the links/news regarding on this thing China didnt actually trying to ban bitcoin but they are Banning ICO and Closing exchanges  which it did really give serious effects on bitcoins price which it dips down again came from 4k price range and now we are playing on sub 3k price which means they do really have the influence on cryptoworld but still we can hold on this thing without them.
5254  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If exchanger cryptocurrency China is close ? on: September 17, 2017, 01:02:28 PM
so many  people  owns  BTC ,   these ppl have good knowledge  about  the world  ,   close  exchange  means nothing  in long term

Closed exchanges are significant long term. Might just be one country(China), but lets not forget how big China is(roughly 4x the population of the United States). Yes, bitcoin will surely live on with or without China, but if I remember correctly China has decent adoption in the past in terms of Bitcoin usage, and also China has a significant number of miners. So without China, it will definitely slow down the adoption of bitcoin a bit.
If we are talking on its contribution or influence on bitcoins adoption i would say that China does really have the power but even if they would able to close exchangers forever then it does really give an effect but wont be the reason for bitcoin to die or decline. It might slow down the adoption but we can still stand without them and regarding on op's queries its a possible way on transacting by using paypal but somehow risky.
5255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum wallet- scam alert. on: September 16, 2017, 05:36:47 PM
There is so many phising site and Already many users who use this wallet get scammed. Keep an eye on the wallet domain you visit just check the site several times because the site like this almost have same name, also bookmark, if you want to save your money safe.
I dont know why do people fall on this kind of stuff when i do check the link you can really easily identify that it is a phishing site. The main reason why people do lose or being scammed because of their ignorance and on being greedy.Hackers do always bait up on having a free money on which most newbies or those people who are dumb enough to get blinded on this kind of motives.
Because people who are stuck do not check with details of the sites they visit. Phishing site is now being a lot of scam like this not only web wallet even ICO website also exist. People now have to be careful about it.
This is why hackers dont really stop on making new phishing links with less detection specially on newbies eyes. They are easily be fooled even on those obvious letter posted. For sure on next time newbies wont really commit such mistake all over again.Just like what happen to me when i was a newbie i did get victimized on this one honestly speaking but that would be the first and the last thing for me to happen.Theres no 2nd time for sure.
5256  Economy / Economics / Re: Make money from money on: September 16, 2017, 03:22:02 PM
The modern era makes things easier, with money then we can make money as well so in a short time then our assets will increase drastically. many things we can do, for example is buying gold, stocks and deposits.
You are 100% right it is the age of the technologies now life has become so easy that people can earn money through easy and simple ways. Now everything lies just on a click so if you have money and you want to increase it than you should invest it so in the future you will be able to get profit even without doing any hard work, so if you have good experience then you will be able to enjoy the benefit of the bitcoin.
Although this is the benefit of trading online through internet, but you have to remember after decide to sell or buy coins, you do not have chance for consider again after sold or bought! That is difference point between use your money for trading online and directly in real life Wink
If we do compare both fields they do really differ this is why we should not think off these stuffs. Making money out of our money would always be the thing on which investors or people who do risk money to earn money on any businesses or trades it would be either online or offline but same as you said there are things which cant really be undone. This is why we should know whats the differences.

5258  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'll never stop buying Bitcoin on: September 16, 2017, 12:06:25 PM
I just wanted to ease everyone's fears, I will never stop buying Bitcoin. Every paycheck from now until forever, I'll continue buying Bitcoin during the fud, the bank bans the 'North Korea is mining bitcoin' BS. I don't care.

I might just burn it all at some point but I won't stop buying it. It might be the only thing I can do against the 'establishment'. Every time they call it a fraud/bubble etc.. Don't care, I support this honey badger as much as I can and always will.

It's wild but don't forget, Bitcoin is the first thing in human history that you can 100% trust... Not to always go up in value, not to make you a millionaire, it will only do exactly what it says it will do.
If you do have high hopes on this coin not only seeing on its money making opportunity then probably you are seeing on his true use which is a new way payment system. Most people do engage on bitcoin because of its opportunity given to its users to be millionaires soon but it wont really be an easy thing to happen. For you putting all of your paychecks on bitcoin will be really be risky if you do entrust your future on it knowing it can crash anytime and all of those hopes and beliefs will surely vanished its really better to put some allocated funds in local fiat for security.
5259  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Better investement right now, bitcoins or Altcoins. on: September 15, 2017, 07:39:08 PM
If I planned on buying some coins today. Which would be the better long term investment, and why?
If we do talk about Long term then Bitcoin would be the best choice and now is the best time to buy more cheap coins because later on prices would soar up high because after a dip because of this news there would really be a time on which price would recover up again and reaching new ATH on this year.I do have those feeling that we would achieve that price this is why bitcoin would be the best for long term investment.
