but i have a feeling that we will see something very different.
now with bitcoin's problems solved it is starting to rise up and build up the volume. and whenever that happens the altcoin market starts entering bear mode.
also if you are one of those people who think BCH is going anywhere, then it is even worse for altcoins because now there are 2 big markets that is taking all the money in themselves!
This would really be the disadvantage on where people would only focus on these two coins on which altcoin will really lost it place on the marketshares but well this would depend on how people would engage on these things. If we are preparing for the bull run then it would really be an advantage for us specially on investors or holders but expect there are dips on prices and we cant expect anytime theres an increase. |

Bitcoin have a huge value now of 2700$ and i don't see it going any higher (not on a astronomic way atleast)
i don't see it goes X10 or X20 higher like it used to be before. it doesn't make sense.
on the other hand i can see Altcoin get a X10 20 and even X200 higher.
last year altcoins such as Ethereum and Dash were very less. and look now..
it's the time to invest in altcoin IMO

I know its difficulty but there is smth else behind it. As it rose dramatically. Someone said its ice age and that another 200k blocks were solved so that caused tha extra jump. Im not scared and i plan to mine even if i am even or dont earn profit coz i like it. Or with time shut down rigs and turn on later etc.. we will see. I invested money i was ready to lose anyway. Ofc expected roi after time but didnt gamble with money i need.

There wont be an ice age and as you hear about big mining farms are being out recently for about 500 gh/s and there might be more we still dont know. Ice age wont really happen as of now. Theres nothing to worry about that ice age thing since ive been mining ETH too and i do treat this kind of situation as a normal thing. Just chill dude and do the things you do suppose to do. |

What happened in past day or two? My average hashrate is same, even a bit higher then before and my Eth earned per month droped by 0.3. I used to get around 5.2 and now is 4.9 in 1 or 2 day. Anyone know why?
Also do they plan to fix ice age as pos is quite postponed?

"MINING DIFFCULTY" sorry for Caps but this is the main reason why your profits or earnings on mining do decrease even you would said that you do have the same hash rate on your miners. This is really a normal thing on mining world on which if there are lots of miners on a certain coin, difficulty does rise and knowing ETH and you observed the mining difficulty you would really see huge jump on difficulty percentage on a short period of time which means there are lots who do mine it. |

I didnt encounter such situation on some people on this forum on having this kind of plans on which bringing mining rigs on their workplace. Its possible but depending if the company or boss would let you do the thing considering that mining operations do really produce heat and noise which would really be a big problem on a busy workplace.Many employees will surely got angry because of such hassle for sure. |

I will never quit in trading. I am not a good trader, even my first experience in trading did not goes well.I need to wait patiently before I earn from my investment. But, I never think of quiting because how will I achieve my goal if I quit in this very early stage of my trading experience.
Quitting on earliest days because you do fail on the first tries wont really be ideal and this thing wont really mold you into a better trader later on.You should really treat those mistakes on gambling as a lesson learn for you because it cant really be avoided to lose on trading even those professional ones do commit mistakes too on having losing trades. The important thing on trading field is that even you have losing trades you still have profits on the end of the day. If there will be any guarantee to have profits on the end of the day in trading then probably no one will think about quitting trading, right ? Have you ever heard about finishing off a day with losses ? I guess each and every trader must have experienced this. I mean to say there is no guaranteed profit at the end of the day for the any trader regardless of how long you are having experiences with trading. Finishing off a day with losses will be much better than thinking about quitting trading. Because you will be having next day to recover your losses rather than struggling within a day nor thinking to quit. Losing in trading is really just a normal stuff on which each trader would really experience this and as you said theres no guaranteed profit anytime which we will really make some days on profits or on negative.Instead of quitting its not really a solution but seeing on the situation of OP he lose up 7 btc and those are already on 2 years trading which i would really definitely decide the same thing too. |

I sold my graphics cards. Then I patiently bought new ones retail for about what I sold the old mining gear for. It's presented a good opportunity to change out GPUs. Right now selling 470/570/480/580 and buying 1070s with the proceeds seems like a good investment if you can sell the AMD for close to what the 1070s cost new. The 1070s will keep their hashrate for Eth longer and should have way better resale value.
Im doing the same thing on which i do sell off my rigs not mean on quitting on mining but to have plans on renewing or buying another rigs which is more powerful on my older ones and do really give me a good resale value after all. I do this for quiet time as of now which i can say it actually works as long you do know on what you are doing. I dont totally believe on those fuds specially when i saw large numbers of people do sell of their mining gpus. |

That's a free money for the bitcoin holders. There is no difference with crap coin. I think that the holder will be starting to dump it soon. And just move it into another portfolio with high market capitalization such as stratis and friends. Because i ready to dump my bcc for free cash. I never hold crap coin like that. I would really do the same thing too on which i would really dump all the way all of my bcc once it would be available to be sold. For sure lots of people would really think the same way too on which they would sell off their BCC for some free cash and do buy other coins which is much better than BCC but there are still people would decide to buy it after on its price dump later on. I dont have any idea on the partial price of BCC when it launch. We should keep our eye on that one, we are almost there and how many hours before the split. Be ready on your BCC to sell it fast before its too late. Im also keeping my eye on the price of Bitcoin cash when it launch because im sure people will dump their coins and same as you said people will secure that free money that they would able to get from bcc. They say that the price is on $400+ which i dont know on where do they get such price qoutations since its not being still yet on the market. |

I have a ledger, which is great and dandy, but I wish there was one program either on pc or a actual hardware device that can store coins such as PPC, NMC (I know keep does but that's all I would use it for), STR, NXT, etc. After the recent btce nightmare, I withdrew over half my funds from polo. I would like to still trade but keep my coins for the alts off the exchanges. I have no idea what is best though anymore..
Try waveswallet or MyEtherWallet for your alt-coin or tokens, That is what I am using for my alt-coin hope you might like it too. I search and a couple results come up. Which one is the authentic website and what coins do they support? They are both authentic on which you can store up altcoin which are basing on their platform. If a certain altcoin is based on waves then waveswallet.io would be suited on that one and if ETH platform then myetherwallet.com would suit on that one. Talking about hardware wallets nano ledger etc. they only store up some coins only which is only selective. I cant see anything who do store many types of altcoin. |

Let's see if they'll stay true to their word! I wouldn't be surprised if people actually get their coins back. None of the other exchanges have been both so shady and legit at the same time as btc-e. While I can imagine that Alexander wasn't the owner, I still assume that he was at least employed by btc-e. Either way, let's see if they make a comeback. Would be pretty epic to see the honey badger of exchanges get back to live. I have the same assumptions too. If Alexander isnt the owner then he might possibly been connected to them but as i have read on btc-e statement they do declared its not related to them.Its somehow confusing on what would be the relations of this guy to BTC-e. This is the interesting part on which if they would really be sensible enough to comeback and refund their users money. |

Main Assumptions:
People are piling BTC now so they can get free BCC.
Immediately sell after the price matches, will many people who get BCC immediately free, then sell it, BCC prices will go down.
I am not sure BCC will be able to compete with BTC. BTC remains king.
It would really still remain as King and knowing BCC it would really be just an another alt. If people would able to earn BCC free from their bitcoins then expect for prices to dump after all when people do still have trust on bitcoin and would dump their BCC. I dont know actually if the support for BCC would be strong for it to sustained its price or even to increase later on. |

they are trying hard. real rally will start after 1 august. i believe ethereum will hit x2 after 1 august. I'm not sure it will be that fast, I predict the ETH will be back in September. Lots of support for ETH, every project now uses an ETH token. No doubt, only time is still waiting for that time. As we can see there are lots of eth-based project on the market which are on ICO state now if those project would really get some attention of fundings then expect price of ETH would rise up but for now seeing on the current state specially on hacked funds which is the main reason why the price have been dumped. If you do have a trust on ETH capability then its the best time to buy cheaper eth as of now. |

Will it be available to buy on a regular exchange such as Poloniex from day one?
I'm also worried that even if it is available things will be slow on Poloniex. What are your strategies if this is the case?
Also, if I have Bitcoin on poloniex will I be issued with free BitcoinCash also?

Cant be sure if you do would able to buy it first on poloniex.As i have read on the memo they do support BCC but we wont know on how fast would it be available on the site for it to be traded.The most important thing as of now is too see actively on sites/exchange activity regarding on adding up BCC. The faster you are the better because lots of people will surely purchase BCC cheap prices for sure. |

There are lots of valuable informations on the internet which you can able to study about trading and as you seek for technical analysis i would say it wont be easy but if you do tend to use it on bitcoin trading i would say that those technical analysis would really be somehow useless specially when you are focusing on btc trading but its somehow a good move on plotting trend lines but movement wont really be as predictable which is really a hard thing. |

Hey, i'm not long into the mining business and i have some questions.
I finished my first mining rig with 6x Gtx1080ti 11GB and now i ask myselft, what is the best way to mine.
I found Nicehash, and i really like it that they pay you out directly in BTC.
When you mining directly in a pool for just one currency, for example ETH or Zcash, you have to check the market prices every day and you need to exchange them with fees and a lot of work.
So why not everyone is using nicehash? Do you earn much more money when you mine directly?
And are you switching between the coins manually?

Don't mine at Nicehash. Mine at pool and wait for good prices before selling. Nicehash is good for the "auto" mode, let the rig on and forget about it, a pratical solution. Mining specific alts demand too much time, reading etc, only few cases worth mining those pump and dump coins. This is what i do on which i dont really bother myself on setting up things or making the situation more complicated since i can able to mine with use of nicehash. Saves you from hassle and just like that you are being spoonfeed already. Read some words and understand it,just really a simple thing. Usually i do mine coins with low difficulty or which my video card would made a smart mining which coins is being profitable to mine. |

You have good entry in bitcoin world but I think it is very difficult to trust something new and if we met with new people we take some time to develop our trust the same in the case of bitcoin happened with me my friend told me about her job at bitcoin but I did not trust and I said it can be a fake site and I rejected to accept the offer she offered but then she told me all about bitcoin and she guided me a lot then I searched about bitcoin on google sites then I found bitcoin very useful then I start using it. If we look generally on whats the thing commonly happen on online world we would really lose up trust knowing that scams are everywhere which we would really be aware on our actions on something new that we do hear from other people.Yes we cant trust directly but there are such decisions which we would able to regret later thats why we should always test it out and prove it out if its legit or not. |
