462  Economy / Reputation / Re: Royse777 will not pay anyone for the last week /Sinbad campaign/ on: December 16, 2023, 09:13:01 AM
It is not good to temporary increase rates to make it highest ever just to attract good members, and than cancel the campaign in next week.
You are giving false image and bad promotion to service you are advertising.
Another thing you are doing is often changing and reducing payrates inside the same campaign, to everyone or to individuals. [...]
I am sure many other members would say the same thing as me but they dont want to say anything against managers.

notblox1, be careful with what you dare to say upfront to Royse.

The great manager Royse managed to run the best paying campaign. For 10 days. Hooray!
Worst strategy ever, and it was done on purpose like this  Tongue

Yes, now he wears the crown of manager of best paying campaign. Maybe 1miau will de-throne him though
463  Economy / Reputation / Re: Royse777 will not pay anyone for the last week /Sinbad campaign/ on: December 16, 2023, 09:05:46 AM
I don't know why you want to add fuel to the fire with that ironic tone.

I merely stated a fact with which he brags himself: he managed the best paying campaign for 10 days. Is there anything incorrect about this statement? The best payment lasted only 10 days (4-14 December). I believe this must be appreciated properly (this is why I also wrote that "Hooray!"):

Then 1miau stated that he could hire 2 Legendaries for one week paying 25$ per post (up to 15 posts) and that would become best paying campaign. Is there anything incorrect about this statement?
Finally, I said that if I'd pay someone with 30$/post (for max 1 post) for wearing a signature advertising me, that would make my campaign as best paying campaign. Is there anything incorrect about this?
464  Economy / Reputation / Re: Royse777 will not pay anyone for the last week /Sinbad campaign/ on: December 16, 2023, 07:28:32 AM
I was asked to make the pay rate $14 per post which I could do very easily

O M G Royse runs best paying campaign! Oh wait...

Considering the new rules that will be applied from January 1st, the decision has been made that we will end the campaign on Bitcointalk, and it's effective from this announcement.

The great manager Royse managed to run the best paying campaign. For 10 days. Hooray!

I might run a signature campaign with 2 Legendaries for one week paying 25$ per post (up to 15 posts) and call it "the highest paying campaign".

I might run a signature campaign with only 1 user; and not even Legendary, but just Jr. Member, paying 30$/post (up to 1 post) and call it "the highest paying campaign", since I'd pay more than you and even more than Royse, lol. And if I'd want to look even more eccentric, I could run it also for 11 days, thus it would become also "the longest best paying campaign".
465  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Discussion] Bitcointalk Community Awards 🏆 on: December 16, 2023, 07:13:47 AM
The question of why a female get a reward for being a female while there's no corresponding reward for the opposite gender demands an answer. Is there a kind of discrimination which has been overlooked for years? To the best of my knowledge, such an award of Miss goes in pair with Mr. Should Icopress consider including this in next year award or we live it this way which looks like a gender discrimination issue.

I believe you are talking about men being discriminated, right? Smiley

Anyway, the subject has been debated after previous edition of the event. However, for avoiding having fillippone as the only one winner at this category (Mr. BitcoinTalk) we did not add it Smiley

Mister BitcoinTalk category was not added, as it would mean to have fillippone winner all the time (on all three places  Cheesy)
466  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to determine the right transaction fee? on: December 15, 2023, 04:31:52 PM
Don't mistake my confirmation of a signed message for trusting them.

I don't Smiley I only referred to the confirmation of reserves.
467  Economy / Reputation / Re: Should Ratimov aka Symmetrick be in DT1? on: December 15, 2023, 04:20:48 PM
It would be interesting to know if Symmetrick has returned the money, which will be more than $3,000 as well, I understand. If he hasn't already, I think there's a big risk that he won't pay it back.

And this was precisely what I and LV were thinking about:

Of course, they will return the money because the promotion of the mixer will not be possible after 31.12
They will? I mean he. He will? Oo

LoyceV and GazetaBitcoin, It wasn't Royse who hired Symmetrick and two other members for the campaign. It was [banned mixer] itself who had contracted with these three users

I guess it doesn't matter too much from where the money came from. Could be from Royse, from Tumbler themselves or from Lauda's uncle, lol. The problem is if Ratimov returned the money; in case he didn't return then the question is if he will return them -- especially seeing that he is offline for 4 days already. This is why I said that

Now this was, perhaps, his last move before doing the Houdini move

Meaning to pickpocket another huge amount, after he will also not pay one more huge amount (0.0435 BTC) to Halab's contest, where he declared himself as sponsor).
468  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to determine the right gas fee? on: December 15, 2023, 03:50:45 PM
I'm not taking sides here, just wanted to clarify some aspects:

BTW, you are promoting a Bitcoin mixer that has been questionable from the day it came into existence here.

In case you are not aware, PureMixerio proved already their reserves with the help of reputable forum users, such as LoyceV and icopress -- link 1, link 2.

I do feel they got some random guy to spam without understanding how a signature campaign works.

DS is not enrolled in any signature campaign. PureMixerio does not have any signature campaign running.

Left you neutral feedback only because you don't have a simple understanding between the Bitcoin transaction fee and the Ethereum gas fee.

Then this part of the feedback you left to DS is irrelevant: "Promoting a Signature Campaign which is for Bitcoin mixer.". Right? The problem is that DS does not know how fees work, which is correctly reflected in the second part of your feedback ("Does not understand how Bitcoin transaction fee works."). Therefore I don't understand the usefulness of first part of the feedback.

I am only promoting them because of GazetaBitcoin

Just to make sure there is not any misunderstanding here: DS wears his current signature based on his own decision, not because I coerced him somehow to do that. If the fact that I am wearing this signature influenced him to do the same thing, it was a decision taken by him, not by anyone else.
469  Economy / Reputation / Re: Should Ratimov aka Symmetrick be in DT1? on: December 15, 2023, 10:58:58 AM
Of course, they will return the money because the promotion of the mixer will not be possible after 31.12

They will? I mean he. He will? Oo

It it confirmed Royse777 paid in advance for someone who created so much drama?

That, plus the fact that he enrolled a user with 7 negative tags from DT LMAO!

Speaking of Ratimov though, he tried his ultimate cheat on this forum: [...] imagine how much money he could earn from selling his account [...] I believe these were his thoughts for his final shenanigan before exiting the stage.

^Disregard that, I was wrong. Now this was, perhaps, his last move before doing the Houdini move:

This would explain his absence for 4 days, he may never come back.

I did not anticipate that he will also take a payment in advance for a service he won't provide =)))
470  Economy / Reputation / Re: Need to adjust my trust list on: December 15, 2023, 09:30:50 AM
My eyes are bleeding when I see enormous quotes with no use. No matter if you are a newbie or not, would you just read this topic? TIPS] to avoid pyramid quotes (for Newbies)

And also delete the immense quote from your above post (or keep only what's relevant to be quoted). Seriously, don't your eyes hurt you when you watch that monstrosity?

At the end of the day if you think I'm not new then okay. You can thank Rollbit Razer for making me lose thousands of dollars which lead me to search "rollbit bad reviews" or similar search terms which brought me here.

And from there you jumped directly into the Reputation board and you started to sort things out for all forum / user issues, right? That's so sweet of you! Perhaps you will be nominated Newbie of the year, just like Ratimov? Look, I am sorry for your loss, but all these actions you make -- especially inside Reputation board and towards issues you should not be aware of even in 6 months from now on1) -- only make you look shady. And I see you insist on it. The more you insist the more shady you will look like.

1)And by that I did not mean that you don't deserve to be aware of, but the fact that's simply too much information for someone new to be able to comprehend even in six months, not to mention only since end of October and until present. I'm reading even now, years later after I joined the forum, about issues from the past which I am not aware of. Instead, you act like you were here since forever and you know everything about all possible subjects / disputes / issues / dramas etc. Like you know everything about anything.
471  Economy / Reputation / Re: Need to adjust my trust list on: December 15, 2023, 09:01:11 AM
You present a good point. That's what I quickly realized when I started this.

Oh really! Is that your new approach for trying to prove you are new here?

I had a much longer post originally, detailing how exactly I would at least try to investigate users and who would specifically be investigated but stopped because I think my mental health matters more (I can dm you what I had so far if you want I don't think it really matters though)

I highly doubt that an investigation on 78 users made by someone which joined the forum less than 2 months ago -- if you are really new here -- would be useful. And I'd really not care to read such an investigation done by someone which only pretends to be new, for who knows what reasons he has.

I've spent the past 10 hours worrying about all this and it's quite stressing simply due to time spent.

Oh, such dedication... Perhaps it would be better just to follow nutildah's advice?

Its unwise for a new member to dive straight into reputational matters on the forum. There's a lot of nuances of which you are unaware.

Since he isn't hacked (anymore for now) he can stay on his list.

Oh you care so much for Vod's Trust list! This is really touching.

Maybe its tuberculosis, they should probably get tested.

LOL!
472  Economy / Reputation / Re: Should Ratimov aka Symmetrick be in DT1? on: December 15, 2023, 08:07:08 AM
No, I mean, his account has negative trusts, might also get more negative trusts in near future

If he sold his account already he probably managed to do it before receiving red tags. If he hasn't yet but he's trying to, it may be more difficult now, but not impossible. After all, it's still fifth most merited account from the forum. A buyer knowing how forum works would realize that this account is still valuable for making money.

in the best case, might get banned too but I don't have that expectation

I don't think he would be banned now, if he wasn't banned already for well documented and proven plagiarism...

By the way, every signature campaign states that if user has negative trust from DT members, that user won't be able to enroll in signature campaign and that's why I asked, what's the point of buying an account that has negative trust and other issues?

Not all campaigns state that. Look at digaran which, until recently, he was enrolled in a campaign while wearing 7 red tags from DT users. It's only up to the manager. If he will consider those feedbacks as irrelevant he can enroll anyone. And I am sure there would be managers interested in having Ratimov enrolled, even with 2 negative feedbacks.

If no one cares about trust, then what's the point of pointing it out in thread that users shouldn't have negative trust? Or why did Royse thought his negative trust was okay, I can't understand Cheesy

As I stated above, not all campaigns have this rule. About what's the point of leaving feedbacks: it's for the sake of users which may be tempted to make deals with these accounts -- by reading those feedbacks they may avoid being scammed. Last, but not least, about Royse: Royse is a perfect example of how a campaign manager should not act. Winning the Antihero "award" at BCA 2022 was no coincidence. If enrolling digaran, which has 7 red tags is not enough proof, you may read here some more about Royse. He actually tends to act like Ratimov in some parts, lol.
473  Economy / Reputation / Re: Should Ratimov aka Symmetrick be in DT1? on: December 15, 2023, 07:13:41 AM
Merit to GazetaBitcoin for exposing him.

Thank you, but I did not see any merit from you, lol.

By the way, how was he able to change his name on forum? As I see, there is not an option to change your name from profile settings and when I saw old threads, people were saying that it's hard to change name and you should have a very valid reason for that. So, what happened?

He asked theymos for a name change and his request was approved.

It's not a good thing that forum administration allowed him to change his name after being exposed.

It's not a good thing, but he managed to fool theymos as well. He fooled 99% of this forum for years in a row; he fooled Russian mods even with such an embarrassing thing as transforming them into his personal garbage men. So why couldn't he fool theymos as well?

Also, why would someone buy his account? What's the point?

Look Synchronice, don't take me wrong, but you don't quite seem to understand how this forum works.

Recently you said you added Ratimov on your Trust list because you like him, despite any guideline for correct use of Trust system. Eventually, Shishir99 gave you a good advice to stop arguing about the use of Trust system, because you were only exposing yourself more and more about how far you are from understanding it.

Now you are asking why someone would buy his account: to earn money with it, obviously! Account selling is an old practice and, the higher the rank of an account, the bigger the price is. This is because with a higher rank you can enroll in signature campaigns and earn more money as a Legendary -- for example -- compared with a Full Member. And, instead of spending 735 - 1030 days for becoming Legendary (and having also to earn 1000 merits), some cheaters prefer to buy an account. Same applies for accounts of lower ranks, if the cheater is cheap.

Speaking of Ratimov though, he tried his ultimate cheat on this forum: his account was until recently the fourth most merited account on entire forum (and now it's the fifth), so the possessor of such account could earn serious money not only from signature campaigns, but also even more by making custom deals with any company, by wearing its signature. And, as a proof, Ratimov left MixTum campaign for enrolling in Tumbler campaign, as the lattest one was paying 10$/post. Now imagine how much money he could earn from selling his account: the fifth most merited account from the forum and also enrolled in a campaign paying 10$/post! Practically, he would sell a gold mine. It would be a big price for the buyer but such would generate big sources of income. I believe these were his thoughts for his final shenanigan before exiting the stage.

Seriously though, was such question needed...? Aren't all these aspects clear for anyone...?

I think all the left trust should be removed from that account because this user built its account on lies, then was writing very offensive words, was acting like a rude kid and to hide facts and traces, changed his account name.

I agree here. Especially if someone else controls the account now.

Does his account deserve ban in this case or not?

He should have been banned when he was caught plagiarizing. But for a while now plagiarists don't get banned anymore and, for the situation to be even more ridiculous, they are unbanned!!!!
474  Economy / Services / Re: [OFNT] [AOBT] The Alliance Of Bitcointalk Translators on: December 14, 2023, 07:21:19 PM
I am quite curious as to why you think that I am non-DT user when I am in DT2 for years

My dear nakamura12 -- the man which gave me my second merit on this forum (and, as I said with other occasions, I'll never forget that Cheesy -- it's just a way of speaking: most users, when they refer to "DT users" refer mostly to "DT1 users". DT2 users also influence Trust scores by their feedbacks, this is true, but usually when saying "DT users" it's implied that the reference is about DT1 users. It's just semantics, if you want.

The difference between the two categories is that for DT2 you only need to be on the Trust list of a DT1, while for being DT1 more criteria need to be satisfied in order to be eligible -- and not even by then you are a DT1 for sure, as the monthly reshuffles can keep you off DT1, even if you meet the criteria.

But let's not continue here this discussion, as it's not actually on topic. I only wanted to give a heads-up of what happened after Ratimov acted miserably with all AOBT users.
475  Other / Archival / Re: [banned mixer] - Bitcoin mixer | 50+ BTC in reserves are confirmed! on: December 14, 2023, 07:12:28 PM
What does this mean exactly? I, for example, am outside most EU countries, simply because I can be inside only one country at a time. Does this mean your servers are located inside the jurisdiction of at least one EU country?

I believe they mean that their servers are outside of EU (not sure if by "EU" they implied "Europe" or "European Union") and in that part of the world where they are located, most of "EU" countries do not have jurisdiction. Not having jurisdiction there probably means that no European law coercion can be applied in the country where servers are located -- or most of European countries do not have legal treaties with that country.
476  Economy / Services / Re: [OFNT] [AOBT] The Alliance Of Bitcointalk Translators on: December 14, 2023, 06:54:44 PM
In the attention to all AOBT users:

As you may remember, on September 24th, Ratimov (known now as Symmetrick) came to our topic and started insulting all translators, by calling them incompetents. Below is a short sum-up.

TranslatedWhore, you're still here, fuck you again.
Wow, what happened here?

What happened? Not much. Ratimov just wanted to prove himself what a great DT user (and also good forum contributor) is... He came around, threw some insults towards translators, did not make any proof for his BS... Then, when I confronted him with the fact that he does precisely what he accuses the translators of (but, unlike him, I presented clear evidence for my allegations) he went nuts, started to insult me in the way he was taught, prolly by his parents, then he flexed his muscles once more to show how well he uses Trust system and how much he deserves to be in DT1, by throwing at me 2 negative feedbacks (both with no ref link) plus a neutral one (again, with no ref link), all stating pure shit.

That's a short sum-up of what happened. [...]

I understand that others may feel intimidated to speak-up due to Ratimov's 111111000000 merits (obtain through plagiarism) or they are also intimidated by the fact that the clown will leave them negative feedback, but don't worry! This clown does not belong to DT1. I hope that other users will take some actions about this disgusting behavior.

I reminded him that he is walking on a thin line, but instead of stopping, he continued.

Today, 2.5 months later, this is what followed after he made those disgusting insults toward AOBT group:

This is a short sum-up of events which followed after the launch of this topic:

- This topic exposes all Ratimov / Symmetrick's shenanigans from past years. This includes his copy-pastes and plagiarism, which brought him thousands of merits; his merit showers after he became a Merit Source, which helped him build an army of minions which supported him during time; his Trust abuses (false negative feedbacks, full only of insults and with no reference link; Trust extortion; retaliatory false feedbacks; retaliatory Trust exclusions).

- Many DT and non-DT users distrusted him or stop trusting him and, eventually, he is kicked out of DT and his DT strength goes from +13 to -11. The following DT users distrued or stopped trusting Ratimov aka Symmetrick: LoyceV, Foxpup, fillippone, The Pharmacist, 1miau, icopress, NeuroticFish, vapourminer, Poker Player, philipma1957, BitcoinGirl.Club, lovesmayfamilis, klarki, jokers10, zasad@, wwzsoki, JollyGood, holydarkness, Rikafip, Brainboss, bullrun2020bro, Stalker22, examplens, Bitcoin_Arena, witcher_sense, Charles-Tim, sheenshane, tvplus006, Coin-1, YOSHIE, yahoo62278 and myself. The following non-DT users distrued or stopped trusting Ratimov aka Symmetrick: suchmoon, mikeywith, DYING_S0UL, The0ldl_lser, Nestade, iwantmysecond1000yardsbackyardpaidwithbtctoo, owlcatz, Learn Bitcoin, nakamura12, Despairo, SmartGold01, DireWolfM14, light_warrior, PowerGlove, execijutiere, Synchronice, Plaguedeath, giammangiato, SatoPrincess, Husires, sokani, Smartprofit, _BlackStar, Shamm, KingsDen, Silence Scream, Wapfika and Jossque.

- He started a mass purge of his old posts and topics (and the list from the link is not full), possibly some with plagiarism evidence, involving also in his actions the 2 Russian mods which he fools into becoming his personal garbage men, until theymos puts a stop to this (it was too late anyway). He even deleted his Merit Source application thread, which shows how much he appreciates the thread which helped him obtain a substantial part of the powers he had during years. For all these actions he received an official warning that he will be banned in case he will continue.

- He deletes all his left feedbacks, retracts all his support for flags and wipes his Trust list. As a consequence, he presents now no need to be trusted by anyone, since there is nothing to trust about his judgement / feedbacks left.

- After all these, he stops posting in international sections and resumes only to Russian local board.

- He stops earning merits with lightning speed; stops sending merits with lightning speed (if you check his merit activity you can see that lately he sent some merits at intervals of ~one week).

- Changes his name.

- Changes his email and password.

- After announcing almost 1 year ago that he'll sponsor a contest with ~1650$ (0.0435 BTC) only for trying to earn even more merits / popularity / reputation, seeing that he lost all his reputation he cancels his sponsorship with ~1 month before the contest ends. This may lead to some flags raised against him, in case the contest winners will decide to do so.

- Soon after, he decides to leave the signature campaign where he was enrolled.

- He is no longer a merit source. This was common sense, since he had no respect even for his Merit Source application thread, which he trashed as well. In fact, I actually stated this is what should happen, due to such lack of common sense..

- After my alusion from November 23rd about the possibility that Ratimov sold his account, new rumors about this matter appeared in a standalone thread, on December 7th.

- After the apparition of above mentioned thread, he received a 2 red tags from DT users for selling his account.

I wanted to bring awareness to the entire group about how things developed, in case some of you did not follow the discussion inside the thread I opened at his address (Should Ratimov aka Symmetrick be in DT1?).

Porf, I think you should remove Russian translation for the topic Bitcoin Pizza bake-off contest! Enter by June 1, as this is one of the thousand posts Ratimov deleted, thus the Russian translation does not exist anymore.
477  Economy / Reputation / Re: Need to adjust my trust list on: December 14, 2023, 04:16:53 PM
I'll get to investigating and see if there are any other untrustworthy or suspicious users.

And how exactly are you going to do that, considering that your account was created less than 2 months ago? Perhaps you already read all forum thus you know who is scammer and who isn't? And ypu also know very well when a red tag was given incorrectly, thus it is irellevant and when it was deserved?

I am all ears to hear about your vast expertise earned in such a short amount of time.

P.S.: try to take some syrup for that cough, it's not a good sign. I remember that TimeLord also coughs very often.

Thank you for this raffle, OP!

480  Other / Meta / Cloudflare detecting errouneously PMs as phishing on: December 14, 2023, 02:41:31 PM
For a while now I keep receiving this warning when I am receiving some PMs, from various forum users:

I started noticing this at the beginning of the year. At least, since then, quite often I see this warning displayed at the header of the PMs I receive. The warning is incorrect, as many of these PMs don't even contain a link. And I see this warning at PMs I receive from users I did not know before and also at the PMs I receive from users with very high reputation on the forum (which are very less likely to try such maneuvers).

Furthermore, other users also told me they saw this warning, including at the PMs I sent to them.

I believe that some signal is activating incorrectly at Cloudflare... maybe due to a recent change they made... I suspect it's that, because I did not see such warnings before 2023 (at least not so often). Are there other users encountering this? Or does anyone know the source of the issue?
