461  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I don’t think bitcoin is now decentralized on: December 25, 2023, 06:14:34 PM
Satoshi probably created the chain and the whole system this way because he wanted to give users the freedom to choose how much they want to pay as the fees for each transaction so that if a person wants to pay less and wait longer can let those who are willing to pay higher to get it done quickly go first.
Yes, I agree with you that the system created by Satoshi has very good features, but when it comes to paying fees to the point of madness, this must stop.

I mean, it's okay to pay more fees if you don't want to wait long, but when there is a crazy race to increase fees to speed up transactions and transactions with lower fees stand in a long and boring waiting line, this wonderful system turns into chaos and this freedom to increase fees becomes a nightmare for others (who They do not want to increase fees).
I am pretty sure that in his wildest dreams he didn't dream that it would get this big. I mean he did assume that "some" people would use it, and he was around when it got a little bit attention as well, but I do not think that he had any idea that it would be this big.

We are talking about something that has peaked at 68k dollars, and we are talking about a trillion dollars in market cap as well, that is quarter or a bit less than the gold marketcap, imagine being gold, exist for thousands of years for payments, from early age bronze/silver/gold coins to now, and then something gets created and in less than 15 years it reaches quarter of your thousand year progress. This is why the fee's are high, because there was no system built in to be ready for something like this.
462  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your take on this? on: December 25, 2023, 05:01:34 PM
Despite everything and the potential downsides of such decisions but they are positive in my opinion, this means that governments can no longer ignore cryptocurrencies anymore.

There is a clear change in government policy towards cryptocurrencies, as we see how it has shifted over the past few years from a complete ban to allowing it within strict laws, and these will be gradually eased, I believe, over the coming years.
What potential downside you are talking about? Can't you see that they said that "they are going to disregard the initial ban on cryptos"? If you still don't know what it means, well it means that cryptos are now legal on that country. They are talking about the banks but I guess this won't be possible if not because of the government legalizing cryptos first.

But, we should not always be positive, since we already know the attitude of this country. They are sometimes confused and can ban cryptos again. Anyways, it's not a big loss to us if in case the bad thing happens again, as there are still countries who have a clear mind and will only do good to cryptos.
463  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Between Physical and Online Gambling which makes a person more addicted on: December 25, 2023, 04:00:22 PM
Online gambling will be the choice of the majority that's because online gambling offers easy access, you can do it in your living room, in your bedroom, while traveling anytime you want, you just need funds and you are one click away from playing, which is why physical casino players spend more time playing online when they learned how to play online, because its hard to keep up playing on physical casinos so they end up playing on online casinos.
This is the reason why the online casino industry is now a multi-billion industry.
If you are a physical casino player, I think it will be hard for you to switch playing online permanently. There is that, you will miss your old hang-out place, your co-gamblers, the management, and others... . And how can you say that it's hard to keep up playing in a physical casino? What if our house is only near from it? And then the casino also operates 24/7? They are direct to the point in fact. While in online, we still need to travel to a store that supports e-money deposits and then deposit the money again to the casino.

There are still other inconveniences that can happen, like high fees and delayed transactions. I'm no way of hating it but I just tell what I experience.
464  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Btt staking and buying stradegy on: December 25, 2023, 01:42:43 PM
Im buying it and staking i have made most of my profit of this this month with BTT buying and staking.
When bull run start in crypto market the btt is small cap and cheap coin Im sure a lot funds will flow into this coin Im staking this also to get more BTT i don't want to speculate too much but BTT in my opinion will be one of the performers that's the only low Cap coin i will hold and will invest long term and Im staking btt aswell.
You do the same ?
Anyone can choose to buy any coin or token as they wish, but staking it is at their own risk, we can make different efforts to maximize the potential profitability of our asset of investment on the coin we vested our money on but if we stake same coin, we are doing such on our own because of the conditions involved in making this, BTT has a better performance and the market cap is not that bad to use as a convincing reason to invest on it.
Yes all are free but it's good to choose only the best and not the crap ones. Doing so, will make you a good example to others. I'm sure you will like it even better. Most staking procedures are being held in a third party, so yeah, it elevates the risks. One of the efforts that people commonly do, is to have patience. I know it sounds pretty passive, but it actually takes a lot of hard work. Can be both physically and mentally.

I'm not sure if it's true that BTT is performing better, because why no one talks about it here in the forum? With that said, its market cap may also be low. So, I don't think many people are going to be convinced to invest on it.
465  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: So since SOL is $60 - Means FTX is solvent again? on: December 24, 2023, 08:04:52 PM
Today Sol success break out above to $118 and most highest price since get crashing exactly on the moment FTX exchange collapse, I don't sure with Solana coin success break out to higher price and get chance to make new all time high price will be solvent problem for FTX exchange. Actually their Sol coins holding have been sold before their exchange collapse, is not get connected between FTX and Solana coins how much price will raise up.

Less potential with exchange have been collapse will return or refund for their user, I don't think they have much money for recovering with how much their investors fund loss exactly MTGOX exchange ever announced will refund their bitcoin investor fund but still not yet until how many time with their promising.
Great info right there mate, but yeah some are sceptical if the momentum will continue, since it is doing it since last time. So, let us exercise caution. There is still a rumour about the upcoming bull run. If it happens for real, then Solana could still recover and maybe reached a new ATH, like what is occurring to most of the cryptos.

But, you are right that it has nothing to do with FTX. I also doubt if they can recover because they owe a lot of money to their investors. That kind of scenario is not new, so it's crazy on why people won't still learn and continue to put their whole trust in the crypto exchanges. But I'm glad that some of us are not tired of reminding them about the hazards of doing so.
466  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: December 23, 2023, 08:26:43 PM
AC Milan started the season on a very good note and were even considered as one of the strongest contenders for the Italian Serie A title then but how they've declined so much in form for the past two months is absolutely surprising if you ask me. Their performance in the game against Salernitana yesterday was very poor that it took 90th minute goal from Jovic to rescue a point for the San Siro club.

Judging by their current performance, I don't think they should be considered again as a strong contender for the Italian Serie A title. If Inter Milan wins their league game this weekend, AC Milan will be 11 points behind the league leaders which will make it very difficult for them to catch up.
I mean they did had a few bad games that's true, but they are not "that" further away from the top two, I think Juventus and Inter are doing fine and that should not be a big deal for anyone, it's expected. This season it could be Inter, next season it could be Milan, another season Juventus. You do not have clear understanding which one will do better, you just assume that it would be as good as it gets and if you are right then you will be fine, and if you are wrong then you will pick the wrong team.

Juvnetus does alright this season too, so I am not sure if Inter will be the one that will win, doesn't mean they won't, it just means it won't be all that easy, either could win the title and I wouldn't be surprised about it at all.
467  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How many scams have you caught? on: December 23, 2023, 05:48:23 PM
I've never experienced being scammed related to cryptocurrency but I've seen a lot of different scams in social media who uses cryptocurrency as their bait.

Most famous are pyramiding scam, those companies wanna be that will make your certain deposit into a big amount of money in just few days. The other one is the phising email, links, or whatever kind it is, they have the most believable thumbnails that will make you think they are legit, but if you're wary enough, you'll notice in their links that they are a scam.
Great to hear that. That can mean that you are knowledgeable and wiser than them. We are actually on the same boat, hehe. We can only feel sorry for those who are affected. It was also their fault anyway on why it happened to them. They may be rushing on the earning part and disregarding the important part. They think all here is only about profits and being rich, but they didn't know that it is also about reducing risk or loses about the capital that you allocated.

A scammer can use a crypto because this may be their chosen niche. It's not surprising though, since there are lots of money flowing in here, and there are still people who just getting started. They are still very fragile and can be attacked easily.
468  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another year is going to end. Bitcoin isn't dead on: December 23, 2023, 04:35:34 PM
Well, it might be that the competitors and shills received the message that social media FUD are not very affective any more. People do not trust everything that are posted online and they cross check the facts now.

There are also a lot of Bitcoin supporters that are monitoring the FUD that are posted and they are posting counter arguments to destroy the integrity of these shills.😜😜😜
Maybe that's true since the new users last time have now transformed into an experienced one, but there are still new users that can come here. So, probably FUD's are still there for them. Newbies can still avoid it though, if they will prioritize their safety first, over their desires (you know to get wealthy quick).

Even though we can also say that becoming a keyboard warrior and post a counter reply to those FUD's posts seems a waste of energy and time, I think the newbies can still benefit with it if they read it. So, why not right? But, we should only do that if we have a spare time. Apart from that, we can also make our own thread/post in our wall.
469  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: December 22, 2023, 07:25:32 PM
Walter Mazzarri is trying to repair the mistakes made by Rudi Garcia, it's not easy to fix something broken, especially if the team doesn't have a strong character and can't resist bad moments, as Napoli are experiencing now
This remains a very difficult thing to do, to rise from the ashes, but to be honest I have seen an improvement. Obviously we can't expect him to fix everything right away, he doesn't have a magic wand.
I agree with you. Walter Mazzarri tries to correct Garcia's mistakes. But we don't know yet whether he will succeed. And so far Walter Mazzarri has not even been able to stabilize the Napoli team. Defeat in 4 out of 7 matches is not a good result. And against Barcelona, Walter Mazzarri will solve all the problems of the Napoli team, it seems less likely. For these reasons, I cannot consider the Napoli team as a favorite in the match against Barcelona. Walter Mazzarri needs more time to strengthen their squad. At the same time, Walter Mazzarri will be looking to strengthen the squad by adding players of his choice to the squad. It is definitely time consuming.
We are going to see it until the games start, there are a lot of Serie A games that will happen before the UCL game, so we need to wait and see how it will go. If Napoli looks as good as last year with the new manager then we can say that it is going to be fine, but that's only true if we are talking about a clear cut deal, that has to be something that will change a lot. Of course, if they end up not that great for not that long time then we could consider that as nothing that important.

I believe that it is going to be quite important and we need to end up with something careful in the end as well. I hope that we could achieve something that needs to be a bit more proper and better in the end and before the game we will see if the new manager is good enough to win UCL game too.
470  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2023/24 Season on: December 22, 2023, 06:29:07 PM
I still consider Leverkusen as favorites for the Europa League. Because this team is in great form. Leverkusen are still unbeaten in both the Europa League and Bundesliga.

Liverpool's main goal is the Premier League title. And so Liverpool will not give full effort in Europe League matches. Klopp will certainly not want his squad to perform in Europa League matches in any crucial encounter. Then winning the Premier League title will become more difficult for Liverpool.

Roma and Milan have no chance of winning the Serie A title. So these two teams will try their best to win the Europa League title. This is why Milan and Roma teams are now considered favorites in this season's Europa League. But we don't know whether these two teams can maintain the continuity of performance.
Liverpool is literally near the top at premier league, they had a tie last game and if they won that game then they would have been at the very top of premier league. You think Leverkusen is doing better than that?

I mean Leverkusen is fine there is no doubt about that but to say that they are better than Liverpool makes no sense to me at all, I believe that we need to focus on how amazing Liverpool is and I believe unless they end up playing with bench players or something, they are going to be the winners without a doubt, that's just how it is. I know that it is not going to be all that simple, but it is still one of the best without a doubt. I get that life is not that simple, and I get that we need to be careful, but it is just what it is and nothing is wrong with that.
471  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: December 22, 2023, 05:32:02 PM
We have distance like this in many leagues as this can happen to any team like we have in past by Bayern Munich and then PSG and in last year we have Napoli which was once having 17 points difference and then now in current season mostly teams are doing good competitive performance but as described PSV is playing completely in another level which is giving them good edge just after 16 rounds.

Currently, no doubt having this distance here in Bundesliga between these two teams is nothing and Bayern Munich is also having good ability to fight back without any problem but right now as we have consistency in Bayer Leverkusen is also impressive and things have never been challenging hopefully, we will have good end of this season.
But there is also a difference when the gap is big because all other teams are weak or whether the gap is big because one team is playing on an unbelievably high level. PSG has this huge advantage mostly because Ajax Amsterdan isn't able to sort out their issues because otherwise the gap would probably not be as big as it is now. But in the Bundesliga it is now that Bayern Munich finally has a competitor who wins game after game with hardly any interruptions of their winning streaks.
I believe that when there is a big goliath level team like Bayern and a team that is david like leverkusen, that fight is a lot more fun to watch. In football world goliath usually wins, it's rare that we would see the smaller team wins but when that happens it's super fun. I am not German, I am not from anywhere near these two clubs and not fan of either of them.

However, if Leverkusen wins the title this season then I would be a lot more happier than Bayern to be fair, because it means that we have seen someone take down a giant and that's always a fun thing to watch, it is always something that I would end up having fun with. This is why I believe that we are going to end up with something that should be a bit more fun in the end.
472  Economy / Speculation / Re: Btc dump to 39600 on: December 22, 2023, 04:14:32 PM
Now the price is back above 44k. The short-term correction made some people think that the price will continue to fall. But in just a few days the situation has changed again in a positive direction. Volatility in the market is a good thing. It may indicate that the trend will continue for the time being.
The price of Bitcoin is on the rise and has recently surpassed the $44,000 resistance level. BTC is currently in a strong uptrend and could potentially continue its upward movement beyond $45,000. I'm personally looking forward to the bullish momentum taking charge.

In case of any corrections, it's expected to contribute to sustaining the overall bullish momentum.
I do believe that it will go on strong and people will end up being careful about what they do and will make something that would be even bigger. I think 45k before the year ends would be awesome to see, it would be another wall down and we would have open field for the 2024 start. I am not saying that it will go on even higher after that, we do not know what will happen but we could have some differences and we need to be careful about it for sure.

I understand that it is not going to be easy to handle it all, but we need to make sure that it can be done one way or another. I believe that we need to make it work eventually and should make it change something in the end. Just focus on how much it could increase and invest accordingly.
473  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you regret also for ever knowing about gambling? on: December 22, 2023, 10:35:33 AM
I once heard that a gambling addict in the area where I live experienced a big loss and sold valuable assets such as a house. Maybe it's better to stop for a moment if it feels like what we're risking is a valuable or primary asset. Gambling is for fun, not for poverty
Yeah true, I have seen someone like that too, a very rich business person lost every savings he had and his house, except his business so he still stayed rich of course, but not as rich as he used to be. He could have been way richer if he bought houses with that money, he lost money that was worth a bunch of houses, I mean depends on the house you are buying, but it could have been 5 terrible houses, or 1 great house, he lost that much money in gambling, and I was there as a kid when he did that, I was aware of it, and my parents tried to help him to stop, but he didn't and lost it all. Then he quit gambling, and focused on his work and family, now he is rich again, we should be consider the situation as risky as it could get in order to make it work as better as possible.

I believe that the best thing we could do right now and just focus on what we could do to improve our lives a lot more, that should be the number one case in everything.
474  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Turkish Super League 2023/24 Season on: December 21, 2023, 06:16:41 PM
The red card for Fred makes no sense and the referee wrote in the report that he probably gave the red card for swearing.Zorbay Küçük, who failed UEFA's language test, must have understood the Portuguese swearing of Fred, who doesn't even speak English properly, because he showed the red card directly. The interesting thing will be how many matches this card will be announced by the arbitration board. If it is announced as 2 matches, it means a deliberate operation.I hope they won't make it so obvious that it was done so that he wouldn't play in the 2 Galatasaray matches Cheesy
Turns out he said "stupid" that's the report. I think a second yellow card (nearly the same result) would have been fine for that, but when you consider that a player who is already winning and it's 90+ additional time period, Fred knows he should not be still arguing with the ref. He was aware what he was doing, and he was aware that he was looking to get a second yellow card.

I think pastor did what he did for christmas, he was like that back at premier league and still same thing happened. I do not know how christmas is in turkey, but I assume he would leave for brazil and go back to his family, so it doesn't even matter. I know Turkey is a muslim nation but they do seem to have a lot of players and people who are christians as well, so maybe he will stay, I do not know to be fair.
475  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: December 21, 2023, 05:11:24 PM
The main problem of barcelona is jus starting right now. The club has no financial strength and it makes barcelona have no choice other than try to liquidate as many players as possible to be exchanged with some money.
Xavi may feel very disappointed if he must lose some important players owned by barcelona due to the financial condition. Xavi will not put  em all for sell if barcelona is not in a difficult situation like this tiem.

The club may perform even worst than this time. The chance to win the game becomes even smaller than before. Barcelona may officially out from title race if the club sell many of its key players.
That's the problem, but also solution as well. What they are trying to do is not that bad, and could work for them in the future and make them great again eventually. Because they do not have that much money, they didn't buy players at certain positions and just use their young players, which means that they are using cheap sources, and do not need to spend a lot of money, and that means they will not grow their debt. On top of that, if their young players do very well, they could just sell those players for a lot of money and pay their debt and transfer players again.

This is quite good actually, if they keep this up with Xavi, maybe they won't win the league every year, but sometimes it will be like last season, and eventually they will get rid of their debt without a doubt. That should be the most important thing, we need to make sure that we could end up with something that would be quite good at the end, and we could make some profit from it by betting on them too.
476  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Actionable steps to be 10x better than you're on: December 21, 2023, 02:46:01 PM
Yes OP, they're all really good things to have in you as a person but I got to say, you should be more different than the others who's saying these stuff because they're all the same but the problem is that they tell you what you need to have and need to do but they don't tell you how you can do it or the steps to achieve those things, make it make sense at the very least OP.
I think not all of them are good, like for example in his 7th item. what's the logic of being closer to our foes? Is it to get an information about them, and easily defeat them in some kind of match? But, they can also do the same thing to us. Agree on you that it's still better to be unique but in his 1st and 2nd items, I believe he is saying the same thing? Then he shouldn't gave the other advices that he lists there Cheesy.

I think it's normal that some or most won't give you a clear/proper guide on what they are currently discussing because it's already what you called as spoon-feeding. And for it, it may not be free anymore, if in case they are also preparing a guide for it.
477  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's your view on this? Is it fun or addiction? on: December 21, 2023, 02:23:52 PM

Mind you, we just enjoy the moment and might just joke around with people making predictions based on the teams,  they love but we are mostly gamblers at our different ends.
Judging from the style of language, it's just a joke. is not an indication that he is addicted. Because the words in the picture, i can found it often in private and public chat groups. Maybe I need to remind those who read the message to think it is serious. because, the words "make a loan" are a trap that will make it difficult if you don't win anything in betting and do not prepare anything.
Hell yeah. It's so obvious, lol. But, it's also possible that the one who send that message are addicted to gambling. We don't know, maybe he wants the people in the group to be like him? I don't find that word often in the groups (private or public) but I think I already heard the first sentence in the pic.

There is only a slight difference on the way they wrote it but the point of the message are the same. If I remember it goes like this "gamblers stops, when they are close to hitting the jackpot ". When it comes to gambling loans, the only way I know that gamblers will make a loan, is if they gather a legit insider info about a match that is going to get fixed/manipulated. As that is sure than the others.
478  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 19, 2023, 07:09:21 PM
Many here are talking about the Warriors and other teams, but no one is talking about how the Clippers are playing right now.
Why is that?

I mean they just won against one of the best offensive teams right now in the league Indiana Pacers, and they're currently on an 8 game winning streak. They have a record of 13-2 in their last 15 games, and right now, they are in the top 5 in terms of defense, and offense which is quite rare nowadays. Everybody is talking about Harden and his acquisition, but aside from that, there are 3 reasons that I think the Clippers are playing better right now.
That's the trouble with the team, you can say screw the load management, but if they keep this up and get injured right at playoffs then they will be a terrible team yet again. Clippers have been doing terrible not because they are a bad team, but they are a team that gets injured all the time.

They did manage to get Harden, and that's a good deal without a doubt, he is not that commonly injured, which means that they will have at least one great player, westbrook has been terrible for a while and I do not see him helping the team all that much when I watch the games, he is fine, but he hasn't improved from his terrible Lakers period neither. Only thing that can make them good or not, will be Kawhi and PG13 staying healthy, which I doubt very much.
479  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: December 19, 2023, 06:40:24 PM
Girona's strength was very great against Alaves with a score of 3-0 and now it has been proven that Girona is a great team, yes it is true that now the news about Girona's greatness has spread a lot on various social media and others, yes now Girona has proven himself that he is indeed a strong team and now no one dares to underestimate Girona because they see Girona's good game. I remember when in the 2018-2019 season, Girona was ranked 18th and only had 37 points and now Girona has developed and its performance is getting better, now Girona has become an influential team in the Spanish league and I think Girona has the potential to become champions this season. This. Yes, if Real Madrid wants to win and become champions in La Liga, it would be better to bring in a new striker to make Real Madrid's performance even better. because in my opinion Girona is a very tough opponent for any team currently in La Liga.
Honestly it was expected of them to win this one, it didn't feel like a shock and was easy money win for sure. I didn't expected them to drop the ball here, after all that many weeks of success, it's clear that they are going to end up with a situation that would be bad for them eventually but this didn't feel like it.

They are now once again the leaders with 2 points ahead of Real Madrid, but one loss equals to them getting that taken away from them, I think it is going to be tough and I do not think that it will be easy all that much. I hope that it gets to a point where we could end up with something that may profit a lot more if we time it right, like if Madrid ever loses points, then I feel like it would be possible for Girona to lose a week later.

In fact, this cultural difference is also a consideration for many players who reject offers from Arab clubs. Even Messi is the same about this. Maybe even his wife doesn't agree with Messi going to an Arab club for this reason. And I wouldn't be surprised if Lewandowski also had the same reason. But I still believe that if the offer is higher than the previous offer then Lewandowski might consider it. Even the Barcelona club itself has been open to offers from Arab clubs since last summer's transfer market.
I will say it might not be because of culture, he doesn't understand English or perhaps he might understand a little but he doesn't know how to speak English or he doesn't just care about them because I see that Ronaldo is a Portuguese person and over the years, he has improved and that is why he is able to have more partnership deals than Messi. I think Messi is more love in Adidas and  it is an America biggest sport wear company but did that influence him to learn? No. Inter Miami should have even made him take classes but he enjoy his lowkey life.

Ronaldo has been in Saudi Arabia and he is happy by his decision and nobody has seen him fight or quarrel people eve when he is known for stubbornness and arrogant, if Messi want to go to Saudi Arabia which I doubt, he can go and will not consider cultural difference as a factor that will stop, we have plenty of more Christians that are playing in Saudi and they are not move or concerned about their culture; they celebrate their days with them which even give them more money. Football now is all about the pocket and not some random emotions.
Let me give you a one very very simple example; he is Christian, he is allowed to eat pork, he can eat bacon, he can eat ham, there is nothing stopping him, and probably grew up eating it all the time, it's a cheap meat, and very delicious as well. How many places in all of Saudi Arabia sells pork?

I am not even sure if there is any, but on the streets of Miami you can find any place and I bet you they will have it, you will not go to a special place that has it, or drinking beer, this dude likes to go to clubs and drink beer, can he do that everywhere in Saudi Arabia? Not everywhere, maybe there are some places that does it, but you can literally grab a beer at a market and start drinking at Miami, it's that common. You may want to reject the fact that there is enough cultural differences to get used to, but not for everyone. I am not some rich footballer, but if Saudi Arabian company offered me twice the money I am making today, I would not move there.
