1301  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: March 07, 2023, 06:42:10 PM
We didn't see many goals in yesterday's games, but there were important matches and results that will affect the course of the league. Barcelona beat Valencia 1-0 at home.  Barcelona managed to break Valencia's resistance by scoring an early goal, but couldn't reflect this in the second half. A missed penalty early in the second half and a red card afterwards left Valencia in control of the game. But Valencia couldn't find a goal and the match ended 1-0.
The other important match of the day was real Madrid, who drew away to betis. With this loss, the point difference with Barcelona increased to 9 points. It would have been better for them if they had won this match. Betis are a team in form and they play well. It was also difficult to beat them at home and real madrid couldn't do it.
Honestly, even with the red card, Barcelona managed to get the win and that's what matters. They are still 9 points ahead and that's all they need, we have like 14 more games left, so 9 points is not a huge deal, there are total of 42 points that could be collected, in which case we all know no team will get 42 points from them, but we need to look at 9 point difference for Real to win, like maybe 25 to 34?

Unlikely for Barcelona to get 25 out of 42, but that could be a possibility, max is Barcelona getting 34 points out of 42, if they do that then Real can't win, and I think that's not impossible neither, but assuming Barcelona to lose 9 points more than Real would, is even more unlikely.
1302  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: March 07, 2023, 05:28:04 PM
Dortmund only had a 1 goal lead when they faced Chelsea in their own stadium so I don't think that Chelsea is out of the Champions League or at least not yet, dortmund is not as phenomenal as imagined that's why they only able to score 1 goal and it happened at their home, so Chelsea's chances are still there it's just that doubts about them have always existed and will remain until they show good development and Potter still can't bring his team to the level they should be if they can only score one goal then there will be extra time and if it stays with the score like that it will be a Penalties shootouts and penalty shootouts will run differently from matches at normal times because both teams return to their starting point so anyone can qualify for the next round.
I think they may not be out just yet, but they are certainly not doing that well neither, we are talking about a team that has been struggling all season versus a team that is fighting against Bayern to get a title.

The difference there is huge, and yes of course we could still see Chelsea end up with a win, there is no guarantee that they won't, but if I am betting my own money on this game then I would be betting on Dortmund to win, that is a lot more likely. Look at the odds and you could see that people see Dortmund as a bigger favorite. I believe that we just need to accept the fact that Chelsea is just not that good this year, and will need a bit of time to recover.
1303  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance Exchanger - U.S. Senators sends letter to showcase proper Finance on: March 07, 2023, 09:35:39 AM
It all started with this statement from the U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), Chris Van Hollen (D-MD), and Roger Marshall (R-KS). They have very high doubt that Binance is one of the exchanger associated with malpractices and is funding the accounts of Criminals as well as those who fled the sanctions imposed by U.S. on them
Elizabeth Warren? The women who said that she was native American and turned out she wasn't? The women who Bernie Sanders said should run for president in 2015 and then again in 2020 she said Bernie doesn't want women to run for presidency? The same Bernie who had a woman running mate? Elizabeth Warren who turned from Republican (family still republican) into Democrat to get more votes based on the votes of where she lived? Realizing it is more likely to be voted in if she lists as Democrat?

I know that there are some corrupt and bad officials in governments, and elected officials should not be trusted, but she certainly takes the cake, should be ignored even if she says 2+2 equals 4.
1304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Doge really go to the moon? on: March 06, 2023, 06:39:15 PM
I think Elon has brought Doge to the moon, can't you compare the price and popularity of Doge before and after being supported by Elon?
Tesla accepts Doge Coin payments ? i think it will be very difficult because doge is just a meme coin with no utility and the total supply of doge is unlimited.
I think Elon was the only reason why it got so much attention and considering the current situation I believe that we are not going to end up with anything big when the time comes. I know that it is not going to be a big deal for Doge and Elon to remarry once again in the future, it is a possibility but I do not think that it will happen right away.

We just need to focus on having some sort of situation where he feels like he is loved again in the crypto world, as we all know the only thing Elon ever cares about is being loved, if you show him love then he will promote you to the end of the world, and doge community needs to keep on praising him non-stop to get his attention again.
1305  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: March 06, 2023, 04:15:26 PM
Maybe no one thought that Liverpool could silence Man United in that match with a fantastic score. But when it comes to Real Madrid, so far we can see Real Madrid's performance in the domestic league is very worrying, but when Real Madrid was in the UCL competition, the atmosphere was definitely very different and that proves that Real Madrid is the King of Europe until now. In the second leg, apart from Real Madrid having the advantage as hosts, the support from the fans is one of the important things and that can be a good motivation to add aggregate points to make it safer to qualify for the next UCL round.
You don't beat a team 4-0 that easily in UCL, or any other type of 4 goal difference, or not even 3 goal difference if we are talking about Real Madrid, I can't check now, but check to see when was the last time Real lost to a team with 3 goal difference, it must be sometime long long ago.

All in all Liverpool had a 7 goal win against Liverpool and Madrid had a draw against Betis, which all looks like there is a possibility but there is none. Real is a whole another beast when it comes to UCL, they may end up second in the league, but win UCL at the same time, could look like two different type of club and that is actually what I believe will happen.
1306  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: March 05, 2023, 05:29:38 PM
Bayern was just facing a weak team and there's no something special from the match between bayern against nantes. bayern was even getting a tough game against nantes. I think that the result achieved by dortmund is far better compared with bayern. It can be seen from how bayern was not able to beat leipzig while dortmund did it. I can't even wait the most important match in the bundesliga between bayern against dortmund. It would be ashame for bayern if it couldn't get full points from nantes.
I was following up your post but at a time I became confused. It is that you were confused as well or you don't have idea of what you are saying.
I read where you said that Bayern Munich played with Nantes. It seems that you mistook Psg for Bayern Munich. Nantes is in Ligue 1 and not in German league.

For the Bundesliga title, it is only Dortmund that is near to outsmarting Bayern. But theh have their own champions league trouble (Chelsea) to face. So both Bayern and Dortmund are distracted as well.
I still think that Dortmund will eventually fail to beat Bayern as well, it is not going to be possible to beat Bayern and get the title for a while longer and it won't be thanks to some other team playing better than Bayern, if it ever happens (which I am sure will happen in the future) it will because Bayern played terribly that year.

This year they played decently, not as good as they used to be but still pretty good, and at least enough to win the title again. They have this financial culture where they don't overspend at all, and make good return and use all that back to being better, that is not an easy thing to do, but allows them to stay at the very top.
1307  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: March 05, 2023, 04:38:09 PM
So far Arteta has been able to keep his team growing, after all Arteta has always been able to share interesting game strategies for Arsenal, they have been able to implement them in every game, now we see the mentality of Arsenal's players getting better, Arsenal's comeback against Bournemouth I think this is very interesting, at the beginning games Arsenal concede very quickly, I think this is one of the games Arsenal concede quickly.
It's all about having an understanding of what the manager wants you to do. When the players and the manager understand each other as perfectly as Arsenal does, then teams always play a lot better than people expected them to play.

This year Arsenal played so well and they are leading with 5 points right now, all thanks to Arteta and players understanding each other perfectly, sure Arteta is a great manager, but if nobody understood him and players failed to follow his instructions then they would have sucked, or if Arteta was a bad manager, no matter how great the players are, they would have sucked. It's the harmony of both sides that made them this good.
1308  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|🎉BetFury Affiliate Program is live| 💸Earn with RevShare up to 60% on: March 04, 2023, 09:26:42 PM
Listing any token on Binance is very difficult.  And Binance in particular has expressed reluctance to list gambling tokens. So BFG team can never list their token on Binance. But if they list their token on other popular exchanges like Kucoin, gate.io etc.also their token will be able to have a good position. BFG Token is not yet listed on any good centralized exchanger.  For this its investors are relatively less. As Betfurry casino site is quite popular, BFG Token is used by gamblers quite a bit for gambling.
I think where it is listed doesn't matter as much as the volume it has. People think that if you get listed on Binance, suddenly you are going to be doing very well, but that's just plain wrong. There are projects that got listed on Binance and it's true that they got a high volume for a few days because it was new but then they dropped down both in price and also in volume and they got delisted.

So, it's much more important to manage a high volume even before you get listed on Binance, and then get listed on Binance. That way you would already have a strong support and you wouldn't be getting delisted from Binance anytime soon, which could only benefit the investor more.
1309  Economy / Economics / Re: How we survive food shortages on: March 04, 2023, 09:03:16 PM
You move to countryside. Countryside is much more resilient to food shortages and other types of crisis. Also, you would be surprised how fast people can accommodate to disparity.
If a person who is used to living in urban areas and then moves to rural areas, he will definitely have to make adjustments to an environment that he is not used to seeing before, although he can definitely do it.

But you also have to know that rural areas also have drawbacks when a person is used to using services such as banks, mini markets and others which are not available in villages. So, in whatever environment we live, there is always a shortage, even though the category is different, because in a village there is always more food if there is no disaster coming to that village.
I think it would be similar amount of change that wouldn't really matter all that much. If you live in urban area, then you make urban area money, and you spend urban area money, if you move to a rural area, you make rural area money and then you spend rural area money as well.

So, if I make 5k a month in New York, and spend 2k on rent, then if I move to rural area and make 3k then I spend 800 on rent, not much really changes, I do not become rich suddenly, or my costs may go down, but my income doesn't stay the same. That's why it is not really a situation we should be accepting as alternative to living in a metropolitan area, there are advantages here too.
1310  Economy / Economics / Re: Economic power on: March 04, 2023, 07:44:03 PM
economic power will be able to bring everything that can move to achieve the desired goal, it is believed and it cannot be denied. but it must also be remembered that economic power cannot move if there is no political power to accompany every step that will be taken. it has been proven that there are still many developing countries, with political power capable of making all submit and cannot be evaded by this political power, everything is regulated and directed according to the wishes of those in power who have political power.
I think the saddest part about this is the fact that there are so many nations that could grow and be better, there are hundreds of millions of people who could live a better life, and only thing between their goals and better life is the corrupt officials and governments.

There are governments who prefer to keep the nation doing not so great, because if you turn the nation into a great place, then they will ask for more, and constantly require to get better. Whereas if you keep them at low, then you teach them how to be grateful for even the smallest things while you personally get super rich. That's why it's obvious that we are talking about a worse world than we could potentially have.
1311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP future looks shaky and uncertain on: March 03, 2023, 09:10:45 PM
Maybe those investors are still  in hopes that one day this coin will reach the top again like what it does in the past years and also what this is facing now is a serious offence that they will need to take longer than in was.
Ripple is one of the most promising coin when I entered crypto market but nowadays? I am starting to fear that chances.
I think if they think that XRP could be third or second, they are have absolutely no idea how the market works and they shouldn't be investing at all. I know that it is not going to be a simple thing to invest easily without a care in the world but that doesn't mean that we should also be ignorant about the market enough to think this would be a fine thing.

I mean obviously don't consider the situation like XRP will be zero soon, I am not saying that it will be going down and crashing like crazy, all I am saying is that it is not going to be going up like that ever again, that was once upon a time, and now it's different and won't ever be the same again.
1312  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: March 03, 2023, 12:32:59 PM
If you look at the last 5 meetings, Betis is a comfortable opponent for Real, because 3 times Real won and 2 times was a draw, so considering the odds of 1.7 on Real, bookmakers also believe that Real is a favorite here.
However, Betis is a very competitive and relentless team, the last 3 games they won, so they are in good spirits. The 4.6 odds for Real Betis is a bit high for sure, but for Betis supporters it is convenient for them though I think it will be a hard fought game and very fair draw with goals scored.
Real is definitely a good enough team to beat Betis there is no doubt about that, but Barcelona was good enough to beat Almeira too and yet we have seen what happened. Right now the job of Real Madrid is not to just go out there and be themselves, it is their job to beat every single smaller club without any hiccup, you know those games where even though big clubs won 10 in a row, they end up losing the streak to an unexpected team and all?

Well, Real can't afford that and they need to beat EVERYONE for a while until they can reach to Barcelona. This Betis game will be start of that basically, just dominate the league as long as they have to and get that first position back, if not then they are going to lose the league.

For FUN or ETH I doubt we will see much movement in price, since ETH has gotten in PoS last September the price change has been not as big as it used to be before moving to PoS which had a lot of volatility,so I exclude betting on ETH and FUN and would only bet on Bitcoin price.
But isn't betting on coins that have more stable price movements such as ETH and FUN will make it easier for us to choose which price range we will place as a bet, indeed with more stable price movements the bet will be more in one or two price ranges only so the odds will end up being very small but it's better than betting on BTC, and FUN Token price predictions have always been my top choice these past few months always been profitable even though it's small but it's enough to keep the balance increasing and I will choose to bet on FUN Token again but that is not yet available as of today.
I think the amounts are smaller there though, which is why a small movement could take it from one place to another. Look at 2023 alone, we have been inside 4-5 different betting ranges during this past 2 months and that is proof that even though it's more stable in price, it still could move small amounts that could change the betting pool.

I like doing it with bitcoin because it is wilder and it definitely creates this amazing fun where if you bet high, and it goes high, then the market is also doing good at the same time so it means more than one win at the same time. Maybe that's just me though, I could be wrong and definitely not suggesting anything to anyone on how to gamble.
1314  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: March 02, 2023, 05:15:00 PM
Real madrid's odd is very good to bet.
Let me say I agree, Real Madrid odd is 1.95 on the betting site that I used while Barcelona odd is over 3. I do not like going for this type of match which is although not difficult to predict as many people that are watching La Liga say that some of the key players in Barcelona are having injury and not playing. This is likely the final and Real Madrid will not take that as a joke and they have their team complete which Real Madrid would want to use as an advantage against Barcelona. The match would be fun but I will prefer to just go for over 2.5 goal odd.
I am not entirely sure why oddmakers think that Real has that much chance to win. I will wager on Barcelona instead, and maybe I am wrong but I feel like these two teams are quite close to each other, so when one of them has under 2.00 odds and the other has over 3.00 odds that means I am going to go with Barcelona for sure.

If it was equal odds or at least very close, then I would have preferred Real Madrid too, they do look like they might be doing good these days and I agree with that and whenever there is a cup to be won they are known to play very well. However, that doesn't mean that Barcelona deserved to be given this type of odd neither.
1315  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Emotion and Trade? on: March 02, 2023, 01:49:09 PM
Emotion and Greediness are both harmful to traders. But, Both are part of human nature. You have to control yourself from emotions and Greediness. These two things can make you lose. Suppose you are at a loss; your feelings will force you to trade more in the hope of recovering the loss, even if you know that you might lose again. You have to control it and do research before you open another position.

Even if you are at a profit, greed will force you to open another position like before, in which you made some profits. You have to understand that the same strategy doesn't work all the time, and if you are a trader, you already know that.

So, I would say, You have to have control over your two human nature; Emotions and Greediness. Rest depends on skills.
I agree that it is going to cause a bit of trauma to people if we keep saying that they shouldn't really feel what they feel. If you feel greed, or fear, or happiness, or excitement or whatever, if people are telling you to "not feel them" do not understand it as try to not feel anything.

The logic is that you are going to feel these no matter what, we are all humans and we feel, the point is that you should be trading as you always do without putting these feelings into consideration. Just because you are greedy, doesn't mean be greedy when trading, have different points in time when you feel greedy and that would be a lot better for you in the end.
1316  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: March 02, 2023, 01:09:04 PM
I don't know how badly injured Mbappe was, but what is odd is that they waited until the 57th minute before they brought on Mbappe for Zaire-Emery. Just a couple of days later they let him play the full 90 minutes in Ligue 1. Did they think they can beat Bayern with less effort?

When Mbappe came on the whole game changed. But that is normal because the guy is unstoppable in many game situations. He also didn't make the impression as if he felt bad or still injured. If they had the possibility to bring him on right from the start then this was clearly the wrong decision to put him on the bench.

Now it is a game away and Bayern is hard to beat in their own stadium. Still the game isn't over yet and it is just one goal. That's not too hard to achieve if Mbappe is playing the full distance.
Sort of? I mean basically it was about the fact that he was barely recovering at that moment, he was fine but they didn't want to force him and injure him further, which is why they didn't play him right away. After that game he was fine and he played 90 minutes to get back to match shape, but that game was basically his return from injury, you don't play someone 90 minutes when they are returning from injury.

So, they assumed that maybe it will be fine without him playing 90 minutes, it was probably always intention to bring him in eventually unless they are winning by a large margin (or losing by large margin) and they just did it a bit earlier than they imagined because they were losing 1-0.
1317  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin weaken the Wests ability to fight enemies of freedom? on: March 01, 2023, 08:20:59 PM
Given we are now moving back to the war portion of the war-peace geopolitical cycle, using the dollar and the traditional monetary network to sanction enemies is going to become more important. Does Bitcoin weaken the West's position? It's obvious to most people that the West has a growing number of enemies whose values are antithetical to freedom - mainly Russia, China and Iran. Therefore the problem Im outlining is going to become more into focus.

What's a good argument here, beyond "well the dollar-based sanctions weren't very effective anyway"?
Unfortunately there will always be some people who will try to white knight for governments and that's funny. First of all, lets face the reality that there are some organizations in the world who are actually enemies of the freedom, and also lets face that west is not that much in love with freedom neither.

Look at USA right now, they reversed abortion law, meaning you can't get abortion even if you wanted to in some states, is that the freedom you are talking about? Does it really sound like a freedom given to people? Some states allow weed and some don't, is that the freedom you are talking about? Just because some things are illegal in your own belief system, doesn't mean you have the right to stop others, and that's why west is as dictator as anywhere else.
1318  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What can Bitcoin afford to buy on: March 01, 2023, 07:42:20 PM
People forget that the adoption of bitcoin has grown significantly since its creation and you can buy almost anything you want with it, right now the only problem is that if you live in a country in which bitcoin is illegal or heavy regulated the purchase of psychical goods could be complex as the local merchants will be afraid of accepting bitcoin directly.

But when it comes to the purchase of digital goods bitcoin is a great option for merchants as once the transaction has enough confirmations it becomes irreversible, which is a big problem for merchants when dealing with a payment option like PayPal.
I believe that adoption will continue to rise significantly in the future. So far we have seen companies that started to accept one by one, but recently we have started to see some nations start to accept it as well, so far there are just 2-3 nations that made it legal tender but that's how it all starts.

I believe that we are going to start seeing more and more nations on the next bull run, and plenty more on the one following that. I am not saying USA will make it legal tender one day, that may not happen, but if there are 40 nations that made it legal tender, that's all we will need for adoption, it makes the whole nation accept it instantly.
1319  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 01, 2023, 06:55:39 PM
if he was first choice then of course he would have played. But it's also that some players just don't fit into a team. When Lukaku went to Chelsea who would have thought that it is going to be such a failure? And sometimes the coach just doesn't like you and let's you sit on the bench while nobody else understands why. Now he went back to Inter and still it doesn't work out.

There aren't too many players who literally play well in almost every team and on a constant level, not only a few games on the top level and then you don't even notice for a few weeks whether they are even on the pitch.
I think I would. I mean not as much as he was, I definitely assumed that he would be at least a bit better than he has been, but Lukaku on Chelsea was tested before and it didn't work, so I assumed on the second try it wouldn't work again.

I get that people expected him to be a lot better considering his Inter career, but serie A and premier league are very different, and Inter is also very different from Chelsea as well, which is why it was always obvious that Lukaku wouldn't be as good as he was in Inter. I am guessing that when teams are making purchases, they shouldn't just buy players they want, they should focus on getting players that would be better for them specifically.
1320  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: March 01, 2023, 04:53:42 PM
there is nothing surprising when the best Bundesliga team returned to their best performance, this victory achieved was inseparable from Bayern's focus on maintaining its position at the top of the standings.
Meanwhile, Union Berlin is a consistent surprise team this season so they are able to rank 3 in the standings.

now the competition for the top of the Bundesliga is back like the previous season between Dortmund and Bayern, Bayern's inconsistent this season has made the competition for the two teams very tight by having the same points.
I think Bayern "getting back to being best team" is not really a valid argument after just a few wins, we need to see them have this consistently. They started the season horribly, and then ended up on a great winning streak which saw them at the top of the league again, but then they had a few bad stretch as well after the world cup, and now they look good again.

If they don't go back to being bad again, then it is true that they are finally playing as well as they should, and that is great for them. However, for me to believe that it is going to go this way, I would expect at least another 5 wins in a row so that they would be building a solid foundation at the top.
