1341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bad feeling like a bomb is gonna go off on: February 21, 2023, 11:59:02 AM
You need to stop worrying about these stablecoins going insolvent. People for years have been claiming tether will go bust. And they never did. All these stablecoin providers are making the big bucks by buying short term us treasuries and making 5% bank for pretty much no risk. We are talking about a $100B industry here.

If interest rates are high for the next few years they will all be competing for one another. The only stablecoin that turned out to be a scam was Luna and you shouldn't be surprised. They were basically going to peg their stablecoin using bitcoin as collateral. And we all knew that wasn't a good idea which bitcoin is very volatile and has tendencies to go 80% loss from ATH.
I think it's not as safe as you think it is, and they may eventually crash, and it doesn't have to be today, it could be 10 more years of running smoothly without an issue and then suddenly crash on 11th year, who knows? But that's really not bothering me because it is another skin that we need to shed in order to continue without a trouble.

If stablecoins finally crack and crash and all that money is gone, the price of bitcoin and all other coins will crash hard, probably at least 90% with some of them forever gone 100,% but that doesn't mean that I think it is going to be bad, I think after that, whoever is left will make it go back up again slowly and in a few years afterwards we will be back where we were.
1342  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or Altcoin hold, sell or trade?? on: February 20, 2023, 08:44:15 PM
If you want to trade altcoins, then you need to choose a few tokens that are more interesting to you, follow them, analyze how often they have pumps and how significant they are. After that, when you make sure that there is good activity in the altcoin, you can start trading. But it is worth trading only for some part of your deposit, you need to remember the risks.
To expand on this, if anyone wants to find an altcoin that interests them, do not look for something that is popular just because everyone is interested in that. Find something that is a bit more niche that fits your hobbies or likes. You like history? Find a token that is related to history, you like gaming? Find one that is related to gaming, you like art? Find NFT world for example.

Basically, if you really want to do something, then you should be doing that with all your heart and not just because it is popular and liked by many and has an active community, that is the worst reason to like a project, find one that fits who you are personally to make it worth your while.
1343  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bye Bye Bear Market :) on: February 20, 2023, 07:48:04 PM
I dont disagree but the retest is where I have more confidence.  The low prices more then the high prices is where I find accuracy is best given for prediction and the backbone to trends.    We do have weekly, 50 and I hope soon 200 day averages moving upwards.   When all that is true is best to be biased to the upside but I wont assume just yet, sincere optimism seems totally correct but I'll wait this month out and some.
So breaking this downtrend line is good, but once we have also pulled back yet kept this former regular negative as the very lowest price then I find we are very likely with positive bias.
If you are still not entirely sure about being out of the bear market or not, just look at the movements not the price. Sure the price is high, but it could drop any moment, that's not the reason we are out of the bear market. What's the movement? It's up first then down but then up again. That means we go up, and if we ever go down, we quickly recover and go back up.

It was 24.5k, then dropped, and went back to 24.5k within a few days at most, maybe in 24 hours or 48 hours, which is very quick. That tells us that we are no longer dropping, back in bear market it would be down first then a bit up and down again, because the movement was bear, but now it's not bear anymore.
1344  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: February 20, 2023, 09:02:22 AM
manchester united has become very strong since this current coach arrived, he has the same methods as xavi, he at the beginning experimented with the team putting players in various positions and changing them when they did not produce good results and also removed problematic players, with that I want to say that there is a greater chance of the manchester coach placing the same 11 as they did in the game against barcelona and I believe that this time they will win, the bookmakers underestimated manchester united in the first game, this time the bookmakers are placing the manchester united as the favorite

when I see this odd of @2.40 in favor of manchester united I am tempted to bet on this game, but even so this is a game where it will be very unpredictable, I will prefer to just watch the game and not place a bet, maybe in the middle of the game I will have a better idea of who can win this game
I needs to also point out that they have become better since they got rid of Ronaldo as well Cheesy. I know not many people like to hear this, but that dude was a cancer to that team and caused too much trouble. Not just because he is no longer that good, even if he was that good, that's not the point, put a kid that is as good as him there, any other player, and it would have worked, it wasn't the "talent" that caused any trouble.

I think it is a lot more about personality, the team and the teammates didn't really liked the way he acted and that is why he was let go and that is why he is not going to be that much of an issue anymore and they are much better.
1345  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: February 19, 2023, 09:28:06 PM
Yes, and the Curacao laws demand to check the identity of customers if the amount involved exceeds 1,500 Euro.

This also applies in case of deposits and losses.

But they can not collect KYC data against the will of a customer if not covered by the general Curacao laws!

If I deposit 25 USD and win 75 USD there is neither a fraudulent activity nor a financial criminal activity.
KYC can be applied by many reasons. It is not restricted for case when exceeding 1,500 Euro.

Honestly did you read Roobet's ToS or FAQ especially points about KYC?

You can read Termination point in Terms and conditions of Roobet. I believe they detected something suspicious and probably fraudulent activities against their site.
That is the point of KYC, it is to make sure that nothing is wrong, you could get no KYC at all, or any KYC even if you do a 50 bucks withdrawal, because it may look fishy and if it does then they will stop you and ask for more information. That is basically a way of them saying things do not look in order and you need to have a better explanation than "I got lucky" because something is wrong.

I had to deal with all of that back in the day, seen plenty of people who tried shady stuff and got caught and had to stop them, and among them of course where innocent people sometimes and casinos just paid them and apologized for keeping them waiting for their own money.
1346  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: February 19, 2023, 08:58:03 PM
The match is entering a crucial time now and Madrid are ahead by 1 goal scored by Valverde in the 78th minute.
It is a 7th goal of Valverde for Real Madrid in La Liga and he is nearly win in a mini gamble with his coach Carlo Ancelotti. 3 more goals and Valverde will win the gamble.
Valverde is definitely the future of this club, not by himself of course but the young squad that they have is definitely the future. Valverde, Tchouameni, Camavinga, Rodrygo and obviously Vinicious, these are all players who are at most 24 years old, and you got yourself the whole midfield and wings covered, of course they have to get some good defense eventually, not that their defense is bad, but they can get a younger better just like these positions.

Valverde was the only one people weren't sure about because lets face it, until this year he didn't play as well as he has done so far, he was semi-decent at most but thanks to this year, he showed how good he can be.
1347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful Many New Tokens on Coinmarketcap are on: February 19, 2023, 02:40:31 PM
I noticed that Recently CoinMarketCap website has been adding new Tokens without verifying the Token team, goals, and if it's legit.
Most of these currencies collapse during the first weeks of its launch.
i Remember that the website used to check every Token before publishing it to the public.
Has anyone noticed that as well?
Coinmarketcap is just a listing services and NOT an investigation portal. So, if your own responsibility to keep checking the right and potential coin and tokens for your investments. After coinmarketcap is acquired by binance, you cannot expect nothing else but they will simply go for listing all the coins and token which are ready to pay their fees. So, being careful and ignoring shitcoins/tokens is up to the responsivity of individual investors.

Fortunately, I never bother about the ranking of coinmarke cap for any reason. Like most people of this community consider marketcap is just a number and it got nothing to do with the future of a token or coin. So, ignoring the ranking of any services based upon the marketcap must be a good idea for safer investment habits.
1348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tip and Tricks about when to buy or when to sell? on: February 19, 2023, 01:53:42 PM
I know that trading requires knowledge, but any tricks for newbies about when to buy or sell? For example, looking at the volume, looking at the queue for buying and selling and etc.
I am sure that there cannot be any technique to help you to find out the right time for buying and selling altcoins. Probably only a crystal-ball may help because 99.9% of altcoins are driven by devs and NOT by supply-demand based technical things.

Simply following the aspects that you have mentioned like volume or news/events of one particular altcoin, that may help you only for one time and if you want to repeat the same technique for another occasion then you will definitely get big disappointment in the end. Because, almost all the altcoins are being driven by pump and dump schemes to lure new and naive investor for short period of time. I basically like to suggest you to go for watching altcoins for some times (then you decide yourself) and you can invest with bitcoin from now itself with DCA and long term plans.
1349  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: February 18, 2023, 09:14:32 PM
Arsenal will play today against Aston villa in a very important match, arteta team should definitely start getting points again ASAP if they want to stay in the race for the EPL trophy, especially because man city will have an easy match against nothingham forest and they can win easily
Arsenal have no other choice but to win at home to Aston Villa so they can return to the top of the Premier League standings and fight for the trophy this season. Because Manchester City has continued to show consistency this season for the Premier League trophy as well, so Arsenal must really watch out for this even though the Arsenal team had realized this long ago. But for today's match, the best option for Arsenal is to win, nothing else.
By that logic they didn't have choice to lose to City neither, but they did, nor had any choice on previous games they lost points on, in every one of them they needed a win to stay, but most importantly they had to win against City, but they lost.

This is why I would say that just because you have to win a game, doesn't mean you are going to win it, there is a good chance you could end up losing that game even when you need a win that much. This means that we should be considering the situation as risky as it gets and not bet on Arsenal easily. I will still bet on them to win, but I will bet a smaller amount and not risk a big chunk of my bankroll on this game.
1350  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Beginner Averaging future trading. on: February 18, 2023, 06:52:53 PM
Ultimately your money your decision.
But, we are not suggesting to only one person or any particular person. I mean open discussion is for all type of people hence we need to suggest the best and cannot stay calm just because of "not my money".
This shows the power of this community; this community is really caring and enlightening the traders who are already doing wrong things or getting misguided by greedy people or marketing agents with future trading kind of things. I am as well always against future trading still we like or not there would be at least one topic on every week on this board for whatever reason but finally people are getting tempted toward future trading along with their own reason.

I agree it is our basic responsibility to convey what is good for most common people like future trading kind of things are only suitable for less than 1% of people hence spreading awareness against it is good and needed one.
1351  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How the rising trend in CPI will affect Bitcoin price in short to medium term? on: February 17, 2023, 09:26:32 PM
To be honest, I hate looking at the economic calendar but like it or not that is their job as ex-forex traders CPI is always the moment of stress every decision they make "always" makes a market shake.

and that has come to bitcoin too after larger institution joined crypto industry is good that crypto gaining more people but news like "CPI" is the side effect  Cry
I agree that these type of charts and the way wall street trades is so beyond me in the crypto world, I do not care about those at all. In crypto things work a little bit more differently and that's why it's not going to be the same thing. First of all, whole thing is connected to each other, secondly we are talking about just bitcoin going up and down could make the whole market go up or down.

This also means if there is one bad news about bitcoin, the whole market will crash and that's not something you can avoid here. When you compare that to stocks where if one stock has bad news, then rest are fine? I would say it's not going to be the same thing to trade the same way.
1352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: My List of Altcoins - Discussion and Predictions on: February 17, 2023, 08:56:29 PM
Before the craze of meme coins, there were people that have told me to buy shiba inu but I didn't oblige. I just don't like it but if I followed what they've said, I'm sure that I hit big with it.
With all the craze that has happened to the meme coins and market, I still see a lot of people hoping that it will be up again. It's possible that it will be up again but I think it won't be the same as before. I saw this trend with many altcoins that they didn't hit back their past ATH but there is some exception for some altcoins like ETH.
There were tons of altcoins that you could have bought during that period which could have made you richer, it's not just limited to memecoins. I remember clearly couple of my friends suggested this algo stablecoin, and that went up so much that my friends turned thousands into millions and I missed out on it because I didn't listen to them.

During the bull run, x100 could come out of anywhere and you wouldn't even know about it, which means that you should be a lot more careful during bull run than you are in the bear run. During the bear run all you have to do is wait, because it will recover back again, but during bull run if you don't pick the right one, you are missing out on wealth.
1353  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: February 17, 2023, 07:48:00 PM
Liverpool is struggling to return to form. And we see Liverpool's poor performance in the Premier League. I forget the last time I saw a good performance from this team. On the other hand, Real Madrid's performance was unstable while Benzema was injured. But Real Madrid played well in the last match. Benzema is back from injury. Real Madrid won 4-0 against Elche. Real Madrid will win if Benzema is with the squad against Liverpool. And if Benzema can't stay with the squad, it will be difficult for Real Madrid to beat Liverpool.
I agree that Liverpool is in bad shape and they are not doing that well at all, there is also the fact that they haven't been good at all this entire year. The difference between "not good" from Real and Liverpool is that LFC is nowhere near the top whereas Real is still winning games left and right.

This is why I think they have a better chance to win this game as well, they are great at UCL and showed that last year once again, I am guessing that it will be another easy win for them this year too. Plus, considering all the other teams these two teams faced, which is funny enough a lot, then we can see how Real has the upper hand in each of those games.
1354  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: February 16, 2023, 09:30:42 PM
I’m getting very close to 200k RP’s and wish to continue my quest of reaching 1000k RP. If conditions are favourable by that time then I might just convert them to Satoshi. However, it is still my imagination. It’s gonna take years to achieve that level and convert.
That is a very impressive achievement, congratulations!

But be careful, the road to 1M RPs is really long, and once you reach this mark, there are serious risks bitcoin will be on a much higher price range, what can consequently make freebitco.in's staff team to reduce the currently exchange rate of 1 RP : 1 satoshi to something like 1 RP : 0,5 satoshi.

Also, these RPs could be already generating daily interest if converted to BTC.
I would guess that even if they somehow do that, which I doubt they would, they would give a heads up, meaning they would give people a chance to cash out before that happens, like at least a week long waiting period, maybe a month. Considering he has 200k already which is above 100k encashing limit, that means if something like that ever happens, he will be able to cash out before anything changes and he will be able to just get out.

Since there is no talks about something like that happening right now, and I think price reached 68k and was still 1 rp to 1 satoshi, that means we still have a long way to go before team would ever consider changing anything.
1355  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: February 16, 2023, 08:28:43 PM
This is going to be such a fun game to watch, I am pretty sure that we are going to end up with a great game to view and entertainment no matter who wins, for us the only thing that matters is fun, I am not a united fan, I am not even English, and I am not a Barcelona fan, not even Spanish.

This means that neither of these teams are "my" teams, they are as further from me as possible, and all I care about is fun. I wagered on Barcelona eventually, I wasn't sure about who to wager on, and I ended up wagering on Barcelona, so right now I do root for one team over the other but as long as it is a great game to watch, I will be doing just fine no matter who wins.
1356  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: February 16, 2023, 06:16:01 PM
It was like I said. Benfica won comfortably.
in the first half club brugge seemed able to keep up with benfica's game until the match ended with a score of 0-0 but in the second half the attacks launched by benfica began to be effective, mario and neres managed to score 1 goal each for benfica's 2-0 victory over club brugge.
Benfica definitely looked to be the better team, but they are still nowhere close to the top teams if you ask me. City for example looks to be quite strong, and I wonder how they will do for their game, they took the leadership in premier league with consecutive wins and took advantage of the losses of Arsenal, and beat them as well.

I get that people expect a lot from these clubs but that doesn't change the fact that we are going to end up seeing these big clubs losing to a team like Benfica, the best they can do is beating Brugge, after that they are gone, there is no more weaker teams left for them to beat after this round, they just had a lucky draw.
1357  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for February on: February 15, 2023, 09:03:22 PM
Somehow I started to get unsure about $25K in February after I was on the dip for a few days.
I know of several reasons that caused the price of bitcoin to drop during February and fluctuate, and that makes it hard for me to believe that it will go up and break $25K and stay above it. I tend to think that sideway in February is possible, but either way the market could go in any direction although today we have seen the market bounce back.

However, $24K still seems likely to be broken even though we haven't seen big move yet. If today the market closes above $22.5K, then there is a possibility that $24K can be broken within a few days.
I agree that breaking over 24k is likely, it is looking even more likely everyday, but we should still be careful about it, do not put all of your eggs in one basket, make sure that you are invest in safely and not taking useless risk, it would be bad for you in the long run.

I know it is not going to be such an easy task to handle, but that doesn't mean that we should be able to do it, it is something we should be careful but also hopeful about because we know that it is going to be possible for bitcoin to go up, not only possible but basically the likely situation for sure. We just need to arrange our portfolio in a way that any drop wouldn't hurt us too bad, but any increase would benefit us.
1358  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price guess, 2023 on: February 15, 2023, 08:25:22 PM
The graph will continue to move downwards or upwards so you should not be too happy with a momentary rise because there will come a downturn with an amount that will surprise you later. what should you do continue to see good moves to sell.
Avoid short-term trading if you really want to get better results from bitcoin. Rest assured bitcoin will be more profitable in the long term, that means you just have to take advantage of market fluctuations to buy more bitcoins. So buy more bitcoin and hold, I am sure you will really manage to make a lot of profit if you are sure about this.

However, you can also take advantage of short-term fluctuations to make profit. But if you want to get worth it return with the risk of your investment, then hold on to your bitcoin from now on and buy more.
Short term trading is not bad for everyone, it is bad for me and I am sure bad for many newbies and even some veterans but there are some people who can make some serious profits from short term trading as well. Seen many people do x10 in a year, and if you can do that just a few times, you are beyond rich and can't even do that after certain point because you would be at a too much level.

Long story short, we should be focusing on what we can do, I agree long term is great, if you are capable of that, then do it and I mean capable of long term is still hard because even though all you have to do is wait, there are many who fail to wait long enough and panic sell as well.
1359  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: February 15, 2023, 01:44:03 PM
PSG, who hosted Bayern Munich, had to admit the advantage of the away team after Coman scored. That was the only legitimate goal in the match even though PSG had scored a goal which was later disallowed for offside. VAR has helped Bayern Munich win at the Parc des Princes, and PSG have been very unlucky during the match.
If we look at the PSG vs Bayern Munich match of the Super Sixteen yesterday, we can see that PSG's performance against Bayern Munich was really disappointing. Bayern Munich were playing a lot of attacking games from the start.  At first they managed to make a few attacks. But PSG's defense was able to resist those attacks.  But later K. Coman's goal (53') led Bayan Munich to 1-0. Then both teams tried hard to score, but in the end neither team could score. Later the result of the game went in favor of Bayern Munich. However, in this match PSG managed to make only nine shots of which only four shots were on target but Bayern Munich managed to make 19 shots against them with 7 shots on target.
I agree that it was a huge disappointing game, and PSG is now known as a team who fails to win at UCL games, and they may look good in ligue 1 (which they don't this year) that is basically showing how weak ligue 1 is and nothing more. I have to say that it is clear to me that we are talking about a team that is well beyond their league, but below the UCL title level as well.

Bayern didn't had any easy game neither, they had trouble beating PSG but they still did it and that is what matters. If you end up fighting and getting the point, how difficult it is doesn't really matter and PSG failed to do that, even with all their stars playing at the same time.
1360  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: February 15, 2023, 12:22:51 PM
With good performance of Yann Sommer in match against PSG in Champions League hours ago, Bayern has a good goalkeeper to replace Neuer in rest of a season. He even is able to compete with Neuer for a main position in a next season. Bayern are smart to choose Yann Sommer, not Livakovic because Sommer has more experience than those goalkeepers and he has proven his ability to fight against pressure in many big tournaments.

From the match with PSG, we see that Bayern are actually strong with attacking too. They can destroy PSG in ball possession and created so many opportunities. If they fail, it is from their bad ability to score goals. Choupo-Moting is not comparable to other legendary strikers in Bayern history.
I agree that Yann sommer played a good game and he looks like he could be a good replacement, but that doesn't mean that he would be fighting against one of the best goalkeepers in the world. I think as soon as Neuer returns, he will get back to his starting position and won't be giving that up to any other goalkeeper, there are already handful of goalkeepers that could do that and Bayern doesn't have any of them.

However, this game was definitely a proof that he is good enough to keep them going for this year, both in the league and in the UCL, if they keep being this good on defense than it would be even better. Fact that made me laugh, Bayern had three right backs who played in this game, but they played in defense sharing positions.
