1141  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: May 01, 2023, 02:12:02 PM
Barcelona team is doing great performance. Apart from Real Madrid, Barcelona is performing well against other teams. Barcelona have a great chance to secure the title this season. But in the last stage, Barcelona can have a great fight with Real Madrid.
They definitely had a decent season without a doubt. I am not saying that it is what they hoped for, after all being in a further stage at UCL would have been better than getting third place in group stages, and if nothing else at least winning Europa would have been better instead of losing as well, that's a terrible loss. So European competitions were a big disappointment for them, but when we look at the league? They are doing as well as hoped for at the league and that is why it's such an important thing.

I personally hope that they do as well as it can get during the league next season as well but they will fight very hard to win something at Europe in order to make that money back, otherwise just the league will not be enough to cover the costs at all.

it's matter of whether they gonna fall in the hands of new management I guess, even then i'm sure the new management will somehow reach out to the former management, I think you have good point, their reputation is just too tainted at this point that at every of their move will instead trigger massive suspicions, there's also chance as you said that they are planning an even bigger exit but i'm sure everyone gonna be watching this company constantly and sees if there's anything strange, hopefully though the people that deserve reimbursement and refund gonna get what they deserve that the first priorities right now.
I feel like even with the new management, that's not going to be easy to trust them again so this should not really make too much sense. I get that a lot of people are hopeful about it but I do not have that hope unfortunately. The best thing they could do is just basically give up, and should not be a company that tries to revive and spend so much money to do that and then fail again.

People lost their feeling towards them and just ignores them now, so having another one it will not end any good way. I know that it will not be a good month or period, but it should not be a bad one neither, it's just not possible. All in all I believe that we could do much better if they just use that money for something else, whatever debt they endured during this period.
1143  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Everton Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: May 01, 2023, 06:55:22 AM
Gambling is a choice to play or not, of course it's a conscious choice, winning or losing is a risk that must be faced, don't play gambling if you don't want to take risks, winning is a bonus, don't prioritize winning consistently every day, after all, the real win is win control yourself or control our emotions in gambling.

Managing finances is not easy in gambling because it depends on how we can control ourselves, sometimes gambling when winning is difficult to control so in the end we keep playing and unconsciously spend the winnings again. so you will continue to lose at gambling, I also really want to feel victory but it's hard to get it, so I always play sports betting and never play casinos because it's hard to win at casinos, so I always play for fun at casinos, except sports betting for more serious bets looking for winnings.  Grin
I am here to agree with your opinion, friends, and indeed, in reality, we must be responsible for choices when gambling and accept the risks involved, whether we win or lose.
In gambling winning is just a bonus and not everything because what is more valuable is the experience and learning you get while in the gambling industry.

I have a way to be able to manage finances to self-control, namely betting by having limits and all the money that I earn from work is held by my wife so that if the bet is lost it can stop immediately and it is not sustainable to make deposits.
That way I can have control myself and maybe you can apply this if you yourself have a family.
That is the approach people need in order to win from gambling, if you approach it that way then you are going to be fine. Too many people approach it as if that is a given thing and not the most important part of it and that is why they end up losing. I believe that if you start to ignore winning, you may even win more.

People who are obsessed about winning, will lose because they will chase their losses and make many mistakes, but people who are not obsessed about it, will not have a trouble because they will not care about it at all. I think the best thing to do in this case is to make sure that we do not get any important results regarding this situation and just focus on the fun, when you start doing that and only care about fun, then you start to even win more because you make less mistakes.
1144  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin could hit $100,000 by the end of 2024 - Standard Chartered - Surprised? on: April 30, 2023, 08:06:53 PM
We have read many similar predictions by many market analysts and so-called Bitcoin enthusiasts about the bright future of Bitcoin. This is not surprising and this post is not a speculation post. What is surprising is that such kind of optimistic predictions is coming from one of the banking majors. The current banking turmoil has helped Bitcoin to win the trust of the people.
People are talking about their desires when you put a mic on their faces, not reality. Obviously these days it's more digital and less microphone but the same logic continues. If someone asked me what I think bitcoin will do by the end of 2024 I would have said a lot higher result, but that doesn't mean that I think it is realistic, I just think that it would be good to have something like that.

I hope that it goes as well as possible, but I do not think that it will be possible. Just focus on what could happen in reality, forget about what would be your dream. 100K could be a good one, not really entirely sure if it will be possible or not but I think it should be "possible", not saying it will happen, but it is possible to see that without a doubt.

The stake odds for this game are 1.52 for the Knicks and 2.60 for the Heat, Right now Quentin Grimes and Julius Randle are doubtful if they can play for the Knicks and Julius Randle is out for the season, while Tyler Herro, can not play for the Heat, Bam Adebayo is doubtful and Victor Oladipo is now out for this season, for this game I think I can see that the Knicks is the favorite to win but Jimmy Butler is a different monster while pressured, for this game the truth is I really don't know who to choose, that is why I have gone to the best option going with the favorite, the New York Knicks,
Knicks is good and all but I believe that Heat will win again if Jimmy Butler ends up playing as well as he has so far. This is why I believe that we could see anything happen. Overall, Knicks is a better team for sure, I mean when you look at 5 positions, I would give 4 of them to Knicks, aside from Jimmy Butler who has played differently during this playoff period. After all it is going to be a tough one without a doubt.

The early games are a bit different as well, it is not the same thing at all, the regular times for them is a lot better for them. All in all I think the best thing to do for today is to stay away, we can see the games of each series and then we can make a decision based on that, doesn't make sense to take risks and put the first games as bets, just lets see how it will be.
1146  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: April 30, 2023, 06:30:51 PM
It is not possible for Real Madrid to control and donate the game against Manchester City, but what exactly do we mean by the term Control? Real Madrid is not a team that plays on a lot of possession. That is not their way of playing and they are not at their best at it. They will let City play far forward and will watch for small individual mistakes and then strike on the counter. It is often said of Real Madrid that they can only counter, but of course they can do much more than just counter. The counter part has been elevated by art by Real Madrid and last year things went wrong for City in a completely different way. What happened then in the match Real Madrid - Manchester City is still incomprehensible.
What do you football fans think in the semi-finals of the Champions League between Real Madrid and Manchester City? I see both teams as very strong. However, Real Madrid's striker Karim Benzema is ahead in terms of strategy and experience. On the other hand, Manchester City's Arling Halland is in one of the best forms. It will be a really great match.
I think Haaland is a better striker than Benzema, the difference is not that clear, and anyone can say one is better than the other, but I feel like Haaland is scoring with his own merit a lot as well whereas Benzema knows positioning amazingly well and gets great passes from his teammates to score those goals. This is of course just a guess and maybe Benzema could be better, depends on who you are asking.

But when we compare the teams with each other, I see City as the better team, specially this year, last year people thought the same and Real managed to win by last minute goals, this season we have a few better players on top of that and a small changes but one biggest change is that City now has Haaland instead of Jesus, that's a big change and should put them ahead.
1147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How is the chance of $PEPE to become the next $SHIB? on: April 30, 2023, 05:45:25 PM
Memecoins like PEPE are becoming a trend in the crypto community. However, investing in these currencies is very risky and not recommended. They often don't have a good technical background, don't have a product or service behind them, and only rely on the popularity of the community to determine their pricing.

Regarding PEPE, I cannot make a prediction on whether it will continue to increase in price, but I want to emphasize that investing in memecoins is very risky and not a long-term investment option.
You know what is the troubling part about this? We are talking about something that they already know, and yet they do it anyway. This was the same logic when they attacked wall street and got GME to high levels as well, it was a terrible company and it is still a terrible company and it will most likely bankrupt in the future even if it didn't back then.

But they wanted to show that the market doesn't work that way, you can get something terrible, and if enough people buy the stock, it can go up, doesn't matter if the company deserves it or not, if we all pool our money and buy it, even a shit could worth a lot. Same logic applies here, they want to take these shits, into a higher valuation for some reason, because they can, they know it's shit, they don't care.

Modric's vanishing act could throw a wrench in Madrid's Champions League hustle. He's that indispensable maestro – serving skill and perseverance like hotcakes, a vibe hard to replicate.

However, we're rocking a stacked roster, poised to tango with Manchester City. Our midfield's brimming with gifted playmakers itching to step up and be game-changers. It's about nailing that sweet equilibrium and playing our ace cards.

And who's to say, maybe Modric's absence is our wild card. It might be the break others need to bask in glory and prove their mettle. So let's ride the optimism wave, lock in, and conquer the Champions League. We're in it to win it!
Modric is great and all, but midfield is a place they do not lack any talent neither. They have tchouameni, valvarde, camavinga, all that can play there along with Kroos who might be a little too old and slow these days but still amazingly talented and has been with the club for centuries so he knows how to play with his teammates. So when you combine all those four players, getting 2-3 midfieldiers out should not be an issue. Is it as good as Modric? No, but at the same time if they missed another player at another position then it would have been worse.

What if Benzema was not around? They don't have that level of talent at bench, it really does come down to how good your bench is, if you could come down to a lot of talent for midfield, then I rather have Modric missing instead.

it will be very difficult for FTX to be able to restore user trust in their service, because many people have been stressed because of them. Instead of planning to launch it again, it's better for the team to focus on developing other platforms that are fresher and with better supervision. That might interest users to be able to use their platform.
The amount of money lost, and lives ruined because they wanted to rule their company horribly is beyond measure. We are talking about billions of dollars, and millions of people who lost everything they had, because they wanted to manage their company horribly. I agree that there is no way they would ever be trusted again and they are basically gone.

The best thing to do about this is that they should just pay what they owe and get out, they should not even be around anymore. Most of the big names got away without a jail time, it was just the CEO if I am not wrong, and those people could find another job and work there if they can, that would be fine for them, pay it back and then find another job is their best course of action right now, at least the least resistant one for them.
1150  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: April 29, 2023, 09:30:32 AM
All of you need to remember one thing. World Cup matches are never played in empty stadiums. The demand for tickets are 10 times or 20 times the actual supply. During the 2022 World Cup, Qataris reserved a large fraction of tickets to themselves and made massive profits by selling these tickets to fans at exorbitant prices. So the argument that fans from the host nation may not watch the tournament in case their team is not there doesn't stand. If they don't watch, then fans from other countries will be ready to purchase the tickets. IMO, host nations should not be provided with automatic qualification. They need to qualify through the qualifier tournaments, just like the other teams.
Because this is a big tournament, there is never a doubt that there will be not fewer fans and that is also one of the reasons for FIFA to increase the number of participants because it means more money will be circulating throughout the World Cup. Conditions like any of the hosts will not reduce the interest of spectators to come directly to the stadium and watch the match even though there is a possibility that the match will be boring.
If regulations appear, the host country will not automatically become a participant because they still pass the qualifications. There may be less interest from the country that organizes it, because apart from economic reasons, one of the reasons why countries are interested in becoming an organizer is because they get the privilege of their national team automatically playing, and the rules of the organizing country automatically playing out like a lucrative deal for FIFA and that country.
The amount of money that is earned by everyone via World Cup is crazy. The hosts make money, Fifa makes a lot of money, the hotels around it makes money, the events around it make money, the shops around it makes money, players make more money due to endorsements as well, hell even clubs make more money because their players worth more if they play well, and even go as far as say that national teams that are not the host make money by selling their jersey as well, that merch income is not something small.

So, overall if we look at every single cent earned thanks to world cup, it is a 11 maybe 12 digit amount, I bet 30-40 billion at least when you calculate it all, and that's not easy to do that is a huge amount of money we are talking about, unheard of in anything else in the world.
1151  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: April 29, 2023, 06:48:04 AM
sevilla is favourite for the cup, beating the best team in the cup and getting to the far, means that they are favourite, juventus is another contender.  both team can meet in the finals. they have been outstanding in the league. but i wish Sevilla wins
Since Sevilla got rid of the more favored team, it's only natural that they become another favourite, even though in the domestic league they are far from what was expected. Juventus must be careful with this team, because Sevilla can surprise them at any time. Manchester United were their victims before, although that was supported by Manchester United themselves who did not perform well in that match and made many mistakes.
Just because Sevilla managed to beat United doesn't mean that they are going to beat everyone, they might, but they could have come here by beating smaller clubs and still win it too, what happened before these games do not matter, it doesn't have any reflection.

It is important to remember that the best thing to do in this case is to keep on focusing what to do in the future and the future is unknown, we can't know what will happen. I hope that they will do as well as they possibly could, and that would be a great thing, but I think it is going to be tough for them, they may lose. They were lucky to beat United, they won't be that lucky next time and they may end up losing and going back home, which is fine because semi-finals is a good result.
1152  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: April 29, 2023, 05:52:11 AM
A player like Messi got enough respect in any team he played and he usually gets enough support from both players and the fans after Messi left Barcelona for PSG he couldn't get enough respect and he can't have enough focus on the game, that's why I think he is going to leave PSG to another team at the end of this season.
Messi to Barcelona could be possible, it is going to be tough and I think maybe not even smart, but it would be possible. How? They need to sell some players and they need to not resign some players as well. This gives them two things, first of all it gives them money to use for getting Messi and paying his salary when they sell some players, and when they do not resign some of them that opens up cap space as well. Is it doable? 100%. Is it smart to do? I am not entirely sure about that.

Yes he is Messi and he is the legend of Barcelona, probably the best player that ever played, but would you really have 4-5 good players gone, just for Messi? If he was 30 years old I would understand, but he is getting older as well, he won't be able to get them wins like that anymore.
1153  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are your most effective crypto trading strategies? on: April 28, 2023, 05:44:23 AM
5: How do you set your buy and sell orders?
To be honest I rarely trade in the short term (daily) I prefer buying and selling on a weekly or monthly basis. And what I did in determining the selling and buying points was only in a simple way, such as placing a purchase at the support point where the price bounce occurred. and I put selling at the resistance point where there is a price rejection to go higher. but I can only do it in 4 hour timeframes. whereas when I try to day trade to be honest I often experience losses. So I really avoid day trading for now. because I am aware that mentally and scientifically I am not proficient enough in trading analysis. especially my weakness in technical analysis. so I trade more often based on fundamental analysis.
When you take it weekly or better yet monthly, that makes it easier to predict the future a bit, because it gives you a chance to see a larger portion of the time before you could make a move and you could end up with a good result thanks to that.

However, if you end up with nothing like that, and day trade only, that will result with nothing that exceptional, you will most probably end up with a bad result because you may not have enough time, or you will give up on day trading and turn that into longer period. Obviously in both cases if you buy and it suddenly goes up then you can sell and make a profit, what I am talking about is only true in cases where it is simply when price goes down, that will be a bit more different in that case.
1154  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: April 27, 2023, 09:08:31 PM
Barcelona are in one of the best forms at the top of La Liga. But such a sudden defeat really surprised the fans. In the last match of Barcelona, Barcelona tried to use new tactics compared to the opposition team, but I think the Barcelona players failed to adapt to this strategy. As a result, Barcelona lost.
That's football for you, you don't expect the perfect team, they have the relaxing moments where even the lesser club will strike them unexpectedly. What I see in that match is that Barcenola is just unprepared, but by the time they would be more serious, it's too late. Rayo Vallecano is not a team I expect to beat FC Barcelona but that's the reality yesterday. It was bad to point out that they (Rayo Vallecano) scored twice before Barca could be able to score once towards the end of the game.

Most clubs get relaxed when they are at a wide-gap level, but it boomerangs at times, just like in the case of Arsenal in EPL.
I mean they were 11 points ahead and Real lost, so that means that we are talking about a situation where Barcelona didn't give a damn, and that obviously resulted with a loss for them too. But there is no difference between 14 point leading and 11 point leading at this point.

They know they are the champions, they won't be even too happy when they finally win it, because it wasn't a last minute thing and they knew for a while that they won, so it won't come as a surprise anymore, it gradually became more and more obvious that they will win so they celebrated that each game so by the end when it is a sure thing they are not going to celebrate too hard since they knew it already. So in that situation you do not play with 100%, there is really no reason for it, you can still lose and get the title anyway.
1155  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: April 26, 2023, 06:51:44 PM
To be honest if you shall watch the overall performance rating of PSG players at this season. Messi is having the highest rating and how can you say that if his performance was not good in PSG. The football is not only a bout a single player that playes for all. it's about 11 who has been combined into the squad. I think that you can also read it again what was the main reason for messi moves back again to the abrcelona.

The environment in PSG is not supporting him anymore. Messi agreed to cut his salary as long as he will able to join with barcelona. The problem is barcelona needs to fulfill all of requirements before the club will able to sign messi in summer.
The first thing that must be done by barcelona to find actual buyers to the list of players that will be sold by barcelona in summer.
The money raised from these sales are really important for barcelona.
I don't think so, Messi is the best player in the world but when he fails to be able to help or improve the team's performance then he is said to have failed, look at Messi's 2 seasons at PSG there were no achievements that PSG could achieve on the European stage and Messi's overall contribution at PSG is very small.
Messi's return to Barcelona will not make PSG worse, on the contrary, Messi's departure has made PSG more flexible to find a replacement that is commensurate with him on the front lines.
I would say he "was" the best player in the world. He is still great, but I would put Mbappe above him for example, he is not as good as he used to be. That is understandable though because we have seen him play for 20 years now, that does mean that even if you are at a great level, that is unheard of in most sports in the world. Not many people are at their peak best ever performance when they are on their 20th professional season, that doesn't really happen too commonly.

This is why there are question marks about him even staying here, and there are discussions about Saudi league because of that as well. I feel like there is a bit of a trouble in the end and we shouldn't really be expecting him to do too much anymore, not for a few more years before he retires at least.
1156  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: April 26, 2023, 05:58:43 PM
If both teams were to be judged solely on merit, I believe Manchester City has an advantage over Arsenal because, despite having good midfielders, Manchester City is well-experienced, and judging Arsenal solely on the results of its last three games is not a reliable way to forecast the game. Additionally, Manchester City fans are already focusing on their first meeting with Arsenal before the game even begins. One thing I have noticed is that Arsenal consistently lacks confidence when playing against Manchester City on the road, once that confidence is there and our defense really needs to close all loops to avoid goals from goal machine like Haaland.
I think that's the thing that makes football great, because we do not judge them on their merit. I think it is important to remember that we are talking about a situation where it does help people a lot, but it may also fail them as well if you just judge them on their talent as well. Sometimes something goes wrong and suddenly one team plays better than the others. Look at Arsenal this year, by roster calculation I would have put City way above Arsenal, not even close.

And yet when you look at the results, Arsenal is leading the league right now and that's what matters. This is why I believe that we should not really worry about anything else, we should only focus on making as much profit as we possibly could. That's how we could make a lot of changes.
1157  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is buying BTC now, the best option ??? on: April 25, 2023, 08:23:23 PM
The bitcoin value is lessen yesterday and as we think about the previous price so it has touched 30k$ and now its 27k$ approximately so its better to take commitment this time and keep save your bitcoin to maximize your return.

We cannot say that which time is the best because we don't know that will this price persist as a dip or will boost next so in my opinion each day is the best day to purchase bitcoin and try to not follow others individuals as everyone's thoughts are different from one another. Try to create your own mind and your own thoughts because you will better know that how much money you can put into bitcoin and you will know better about your profit at current price so this is the thing to achieve better results.
I feel like that's an alright drop, that's not really a bad one and it is not too much of a drop. Depends on what to follow though, if we end up with even bigger fall then it would be terrible, but if it goes to a much better level then it would be even better. So it all depends what will come next.

I hope and believe that the price will go up higher, and that should be alright and we could do better. Think about it, if we could end up with a better return then we are going to end up with a great profit eventually and that should be something that we care about and if the price indeed goes up then we would all profit. However, even in the worst case and it goes down, I would guess that it will go to a new and better level where we could make a great profit out of it as well and should be doing fine, all depends on buying at lower price.
1158  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers on: April 25, 2023, 06:41:04 PM
It is very difficult to say why such great soccer nations like Germany and Italy are in crisis. German and Italian clubs are very successful in European club competitions, but their national teams are not, with the exception of Italy at the last EURO.
For me, the main favorites at the EURO are France, England, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, but also Croatia as a hidden favorite.
The national team that has Modrić and won 2 medals at the last 2 world cups simply can't be underestimated.
However, in my opinion, France has the best chance.
On the particular case of Italy I think they are facing some sort of identity crisis, when I watch Italy I like the way they play and they are way more entertaining now than on their entire history, however they have failed to qualify to the world cup twice in a row, when on their entire history they only failed to qualify once, as during the very first world cup many European teams decided to not participate, so people are not happy with this as they preferred their national soccer team to play awfully and still win, a formula which gave them four world cup championships.
I feel like more than identity, it's more about getting younger players to show up. It's obvious that they built a good squad before this one, and they won and they were all happy about it. But then they ended up losing and not even going to world cup as well, because some of their good players retired.

I feel like they will do better during this euro cup compared to not even be in world cup, they will be at least in this, but they won't win it. They just need a whole new generation to grow up and be better as well. If they can do that then they could end up with a better result. How did France become this good? They found players that are great and close to each other at age, Italy needs the same thing, kids at young 20's to play and be good together.
1159  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: April 25, 2023, 06:04:23 PM
Last season, Manchester City was also very favored against Real Madrid and maybe what made the difference this time for Manchester City was that they had Haaland in the starting line-up. I admit that Haaland is a monster for any top European team at the moment, including Real Madrid. It's just that even though Manchester City has Haaland it doesn't mean they can guarantee victory. While Real Madrid's squad is still the same as last season, maybe what's different is that some of the young Los Blancos players are now starting to process being better than last season and all Real Madrid players have a winning mentality throughout the season. But for Manchester City, even though they have extraordinary squad depth, they still don't have a winning mentality so far. Maybe it's Manchester City's shortcomings until now that have made them often fail to win the Champions League trophy for the first time.
To be fair there was a reason why they were favoured and they did win the series up until 88th minute of the second game. That was a great series for City and they just got unlucky at the last five minutes, that gave the Real the win, just two goals from Rodrygo that changed everything suddenly.

This season we are going to see Haaland be a problem for Madrid defense as well, how are they going to hold him down? I do not think that it will be possible and City has a chance to score at any moment, even if Real tries to attack, one country where they just throw the ball ahead could mean Haaland getting the ball and destroying anyone on his path. We may see Rudiger become like Upamecano as well, so there is a lot more chances this year without a doubt.

increasingly I was also quite hot with Cristiano's attitude, however.  al nassr is a team that is rich enough so that whatever negative actions cristiano does, he can get away with it (like the case of his obscene gesture towards al hilal supporters).  As someone who plays in the Arab League, he should be able to maintain his attitude and prestige because Al Nassr signed him for quite a long time (with the aim of Saudi Arabia becoming a world football magnet country).
The funny thing is that Ronaldo seemed like he would be happy there, I mean he was the one that accepted the offer, if he felt like it would be a bit of a chore to him and he would not be able to accept the feedback from the fans then he shouldn't have accepted such offer.

I always said that the best thing for him would have been a semi-bench player at Lisbon, go back to your roots and play in some games when you can, benched when you need a rest, and that way he would have been happier. This way he plays at a highly Muslim nation as a Christian, with very much different values, I mean they literally had to bend the rules on him having a girlfriend and not a wife, that seems as big as it gets and he still went there. So he has to take it as it is.
