1161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what about the fate of altcoins if btc drops to 10 dollars? on: April 25, 2023, 03:45:52 AM
we will not know for the price of bitcoin in the future, and I just want to know what you think, about the question this time that I will ask you all, namely..
what will happen to altcoins if btc price drops to 10 dollars?
It would be good for crypto if Bitcoin falls to 10 dollars as every crypto can trade against each other rather than BTC, which has no real utility other than being the first major crypto to be adopted. This would give other projects like XRP, MATIC, and Q Blockchain an opportunity to be #1 on CMC.
but the best part of this for me?
is the chance of making me a Millionaire if not billionaire in soonest time once bitcoin recovered as what happened many times before.
Bitcoin is proven to be carrying the best interest for all crypto investors.

buy bitcoin the lowest you can.

Sell Bitcoin the highest you believe in.

Never Give up , for all the supporters and even not because we have seen this happening many times before.
I am not sure if I could ever be a billionaire, that seems like the most unlikely thing ever. And to be fair I am not looking for that neither, since living in my nation is not really that much insane, I could just get 100k and that would be more than enough for me and it's very realistic in the world we live in right now.

Crypto could get me 100k, and considering 1k per month is more than enough for me and I already make nearly 1k myself as well, I would be able to live a comfortable life. I would put that in interest, and I would just spend the extras and I would live a much more comfortable life. In order to reach that I keep investing into bitcoin and check some alts, one day I am going to reach that level, even if it takes many years.
1162  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you still advised more buy and store? on: April 23, 2023, 06:02:12 PM
I do, I mean it is something that I always loved and I believe that if I had more money than I would still only invest into more bitcoins. I would never buy stocks, gold ,other fiats, anything, only thing I would ever invest my money into would have been bitcoin and I think that would be a great thing. I know not many people feel the same way and they want to diversify their portfolio, but to me bitcoin is the only thing.

I could be making a million dollars per month and I would still not consider anything else, spend what I spend and rest will go straight to bitcoin. Which is why I would say advising others to keep buying more and holding is something I do constantly, probably once per day here every single day for years now.
1163  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: April 23, 2023, 04:33:42 PM
There is still a chance for Inter Milan to finish in the Champions League positions, currently they are only two points away from Roma in fourth place. I think Inzaghi still prioritizes La Liga and the Champions League, it's just that their performance in La Liga has been a bit disappointing in the last six matches. This away win broke their streak of poor results in their previous six matches in La Liga and at least this is the first step to compete with Roma in fourth place.

Lukaku's performance has improved in the previous matches and he also made a big contribution to the 0-3 win away to Empoli. Two goals and one assist were good achievements for Lukaku, where before he seemed to have lost his instinct to score goals due to frequent injuries. The following week will be much more difficult because they must be consistent to compete for the top five positions and Inter Milan cannot afford to lose again if they wish to catch up with Roma.
I think you meant Serie A? In both cases, I do think that UCL matters in both cases that's the issue. If the question was "would you try to be second or have more time on UCL and be third in the league" then they would be third and spend more time in UCL, but right now both questions are about UCL at the same time.

Do you try to go for the finals this season and risk missing it next year? Or do you go for UCL now and be in the top four so you are guaranteed to be there next season but risk this seasons finals which you may not reach for a long time? I still think they should put all their power to UCL this season, because that means they will be in the finals if they beat Milan and that is definitely a good decision without a doubt.
1164  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: April 23, 2023, 05:53:45 AM
I don't know. I think it isn't very good most of the time to have two drivers who can be number one drivers in a team normally in the same team. Leclerc - Sainz duo is just like that for example.
Keep in mind we had several rumors in the past month for a possible swap between Leclerc and Hamilton.
I don't think it will happen but it was not a single rumor with a single source...
I have seen those rumors as well but I doubt that they would ever be true. I am 100% sure that Hamilton will either retire at Mercedes, which is the likely situation, or he would be way too old to be there one day and do the Vettel/Alonso thing and go to any team that will take him at 40 years old. That's like the most possible thing at that moment, Kimi didn't retire until he was way too old neither, so it could be possible for him to retire like that, but as long as he can drive, he will be there.

Charles is not happy at Ferrari that is known and it is obvious why as well, he hasn't been given a proper chance and he got unlucky with so many team decisions all the time which is why I guess that Charles may leave. But I do not know if Mercedes would be willing to let Hamilton go just to get Charles, maybe some other team could end up doing that.
1165  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 22, 2023, 08:14:09 PM
I know it's just one way, but if Zidane went to Juventus, maybe Juventus would become a great team again and we'd be able to go far in the Champions League, lately Juventus is just a team that fights for a place in the Champions League, very sad and regrettable that a team as big as juventus, today is reduced a lot. I imagine Zidane won't go to PSG because PSG management doesn't want a long-term project, they want to win the Champions League urgently, which is something very difficult for any coach
I read this too but I assumed he wanted to have a bigger role. Like most managers only decide on the tactics and such, but I read in my local news that he wants to have total control. The players they get, the players they sell, the teams training, the new tactical system, basically he wants to have the "new style" that only he brings to the table. We all know Total football, we all know tiki taka, we all know gegenpress.

I read that he wants to make something that is his, and if he can achieve that which would take time to master by the players, he wants players that would work for that system, not the best players, but the ones that would fit the system the best. So he may go to a lower level team to get that type of permission to do whatever he pleases.
1166  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can old trading strategies work again? on: April 22, 2023, 07:41:03 PM
There isn't a one stratefy to rule them all. If you want to be profitable you always have to adapt according to the market conditions!
but there are also times when old strategies work again, although at some point you'll have to revise your strategy again while adding the newer ones. as you've have said that it depends on the market conditions, and i still believe that some old patterns are still useful in todays trading style. still for one to become a seasoned trader, you still need to experience more trading patterns or should i say it is the culmination of your accumulated experience in trading.
Basically when the market is similar to that old time. If X strategy works when Y happens, then when Y happens again in the future that could mean X can happen as well. This is why I believe that the best thing to do right now would be something that could benefit you the most, it could help you make as much profit as you could.

It is going to take a while before we could see that strategy work again, but if you check the market and check the strategy that works the best, and note that down then you can use it later when you see the market similar. Check the chart, see what worked and save it for later and you can compare all the notes you have taken and see if current time is similar to any of the past and if it is then you can try the strategy again.
1167  Economy / Economics / Re: Corruption Should Be Taught From Young Age on: April 22, 2023, 06:54:51 PM
Hell, just look at all the drug prevention programs aimed at youth and how that's worked out.  It doesn't work, because once you tap the pleasure center of the brain, a lot of people will want more of whatever did the tapping.  Add to that youths' natural defiance of authority, and any preventative measures against drugs, corruption, or teenage pregnancy for that matter are doomed to fail.
When you are prescribed Adderall and someone comes and tells you that this is bad, it's hard to believe them, you know Cheesy

Well, the reason why drug prevention programs fail is that they don't tell you the truth. In school, once in a while we had a lecture about that and you know what, all they tell you is that drug usage causes death, it kills people and that's why it is bad. Rarely but sometimes they would add that drug usage cause depression but this part was mostly ignored but death was strongly highlighted. Youth don't care about it, you have to tell them truth: Drugs don't kill that easily, especially if they are pharma grade. What they do is that they mess with your psychology, destroy your brain's reward center and you don't feel a joy in life anymore, you have zero motivation, zero reason in your head to live or do something. They don't explain these details, they never talk about dopamine and serotonin, this is the real problem.
I would say prescribed and otherwise are different. When someone smokes weed, that is not killing them right away neither, it is a slow process that may happen when they are elderly, but nothing happens at that moment, unless they smoke and drive. However, when they are prescribed it, that means they need it.

In many nations of the world weed is prescribed as medicine for people who are doing chemo, you know why? Because during chemo you can't eat and you are constantly in pain, as someone who had a loved one go through chemo for 6 months, I can tell you that weed would have been great if it was legal where I live. Why? Because since it has a numbing effect, and makes you hungry, that person would have gone through the same process better, eat better, less pain. So what is right may change depending on the situation.
1168  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: April 21, 2023, 08:18:05 PM
Everything keeps turning in a sense where Tuchel is still the issue, it is not so much Bayern anymore, now instead of Bayern it is Tuchel, that Tuchel is part of Bayern it is well known that now these players are in the hands of a very controversial technical director Apart from the fact that he hasn't done badly, in fact, compared to other teams, I would say that Tuchel has done a great job, and with respect to Dortmund, because it is a team that has already lost to Bayern, nothing he does, the performance of the team is missing. Bayern against Union Berlin, I'm very curious about how this match will be.
I understand that Tuchel would be the make or break for this team and they got rid of their manager to hire him so he needs to really show how great he can be, and with them being out of the UCL then we could say that it should not really be an issue at all anymore.

I think all they will focus is the title and they will be able to or at least should be able to win against anyone they face. This doesn't mean that they will, it just means with that much focus on just single game per week, they have a better chance. Dortmund could still do well, not expecting them to be terrible but Bayern will be just a bit better. This is why I am sort of happy, because betted on them to win the league at the start of the season.
1169  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: April 21, 2023, 06:59:03 PM
When talking about the Europa League, it is clear that at the moment there are some good things for them, especially with the current conditions where Roma and Juventus are in different conditions. for Roma at the moment their focus is clearly on the Europa League now so for the semi-finals they will definitely go all out.
Roma got the win but that was a really close one as well, if they didn't put on a show at the last 10 minutes or so then they would have lost that game as well and would have been out. Now they are going to face Leverkusen and that's not a small club neither but they could definitely get a win there too, not saying they will, not saying they are the favorites even, all I am saying is that they are good enough to beat Leverkusen if you ask me.

Juventus is having the greatest week ever for them, both managed to beat Lisbon who beat Arsenal to get there, there were some doubts and they got it, but now they got their 15 points back too. That is the story of the week isn't it? They are not third and I be they will fight hard for second as well until the season ends too, should be a blast to watch.
1170  Economy / Speculation / Re: Correction from $30K: Reason to worry? on: April 20, 2023, 07:12:48 PM
After the price rise over $30k there was an assumption that the market would turn lower again and we saw a continuation below $29k. But there was no reason to worry. From 29K it is again in bullish trend as before. BTC is currently trading at $30,224. If we take a look at a price chart over the past seven days, BTC is down 0.01 percent and the 14-day price chart is now up 7.3 percent. Various predictors are bullish on Bitcoin and believe that it will be able to overcome the $31k price in the next few days. Currently, there is strong support zone at $28k, so even if the market corrects, there is no possibility of going down much.
Indeed. But despite my confidence about my position, I am still being wary right now. I even updated my notifications just to get alerts when prices reach near my red zones so that I can prepare counter measures. I already learnt my lesson last time. Sometimes the prices moves so fast that you can't even finish transferring funds to buy or sell whenever it starts to go up or down in price. Losing money and missing out on profit opportunity really feels like crap especially when you know you could've done something. Although there's some on the exchange, it isn't that much since I only store a small amount of usdt on exchanges.
I would guess that it would be enough to just put a stop loss a bit below 28k. Like you could literally put it at 27.9k and that would be enough, because it is obvious that if the price drops anything under 28k that means it could go down even faster, not saying it will, but going from 29k to 28k is a lot harder than going from 28k to 27k, there is a big difference between them.

I hope that it does better in the end and we could end up seeing something much bigger, and the price would be 35k and then 40k and so forth. But even if it falls, I would give it time until 28k, we can recover from there to above 30k easily. However, if it drops even further, then I would say that it is time to let it be and drop a bit more before we buy again.
1171  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: April 20, 2023, 05:40:00 PM
Madrid is indeed reliable based on quality and experience but somehow I believe more in Manchester City
To be honest I'm tired of seeing Madrid dominance in the Champions League , I want to see a new winner this season
among other teams Manchester City is closer in my opinion but let's see how it ends.
I agree with you. I'm annoyed by watching Real Madrid dominate the Champions League. I want a new team to be champions. I would be happiest if AC Milan or Manchester City were champions. Manchester City management is trying hard to win the Champions League title. They spent a lot of money. Star players have been recruited. Guardiola has appointed experienced coaches. Even then the team is not able to win the Champions League. I will be happy if Manchester City wins the Champions League title this season.
I would be incredibly happy if City won, but I am not even a fan of them. Not like I dislike them or anything, I just mean as in I am not English so I am not a fan of them who went to any of their game, never even been there, I do not even support them. I just want to see a different team win, and City did so much and I like Pep and his hard work, so I feel like it would be nice to see that rewarded.

We can never know, Real could still end up winning, and they know that they lost La Liga so that means they are going to fight as hard as possible to the last minutes like last year just to win it. Because if they do not get this as well then they will have nothing else left to fight for and they will consider this season as a bad one.
1172  Economy / Economics / Re: Automating your savings will help you save more on: April 20, 2023, 04:50:04 PM
Automatic saving is good but in time of need, some may spend all their savings. Is there any reason not to use the money kept in that saving account? No, and this is why we need a reason to save for too. If we think that we need to save to achieve something, we will keep saving despite the fact that it is automatic or manual. And won't use that until it is fulfilled. If we save without any reason, then the chances of using that money for other thing is really high.
The automatic process you said in the OP is quite good, but I think adding some reason to save with that will make it even better.
That does happen, it happened to me so many times in the past 2 years, the pandemic caused a lot of sickness because even if you did not go outside and get covid, you were at home and that means you did not live a healthy life style. In fact, most developed nations had increased rate of obesity, which was assumed to be because people sit down and didn't walk around or basically used their body and ate fast food delivered instead of going outside, this is not backed by data but seems to be the most plausible reason.

So all of that combined means that many people got sick and health is the most expensive thing in the world, it has no value at all, you can't put a price tag on health, so we all got destroyed and our savings got emptied multiple times.
1173  Economy / Economics / Re: Coinbase CEO asks UK to slow down on Crypto Regulations - lift bank bans on: April 19, 2023, 07:18:23 PM
What I think Brian Armstrong did is try to find a cash cover for his foundation after the tightening of regulatory restrictions in the United States.

The problem of Brian Armstrong and Coinbase is that they need funds to maintain their stablecoin USDC, and therefore there must be bank accounts and financial flows to support them and support liquidity, and therefore he is trying to find a new headquarters, and it seems that his message is an attempt to sympathize with the United Kingdom, especially with the economic problems in that country.

In general, Coinbase in terms of guaranteeing customer funds are better than Binance, and perhaps the best currently, so I can consider it good news
I would say that it is a bit more clear at least, that's the difference. I can't say if they are protecting it better or not, I am not familiar with that, I would have to be inside on both of them to check how they do it in order to compare the  two.

But, I know for a fact what coinbase does and I have no idea what binance does, so that means that Coinbase is clearly the winner on which one is more transparent with your money and not doing anything worrisome. I am not saying binance does, all I am saying is that I do not know if they do or not, maybe they do or maybe they don't however at the end of the day it's just a thing that we have to live with. I personally hope that it gets better and clearer for binance as well.
1174  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Everton Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: April 19, 2023, 06:42:50 PM
No.. for sure, the "feeding" mode is possibly on the in-house Stake original games, but you can test it for yourself. Do some DICE wagering before and after a Weekly has been paid.. and see how much more money it is costing you to wager than normal.

I do think Stake has some options to chose from with some 3rd party Slot games ..like Hacksaw Games... but it will be too much hassles to do that very regularly. (they give multiple RTP options for casinos to chose from)  Wink

No, no, that's what I'm talking about: no "feeding mode" in in-house slots either. As I said, sites of the level of Stake don't do that, they don't keep track of your winnings and losses, and they don't adjust your future performance accordingly. Everything is completely random. That's the point.
This is even proven for most of the games, some not in-house games that they got from third parties may not have it, but all of the in house games still have provably fair as well, this means that every single bet you make, the clock resets and you make a bet. This is also the reason why you could flip a coin 200 times and it could be tails for 200 times, because there is no "it was tails 199 times, 200th must be heads" because that 200th is also 50-50% like always.

This is why I trust stake the most, because they are provably fair, any casino that has any games that is provably fair can get my money, if it is not provably fair then I am not there at all. They will not have feeding mode or anything like that, they can make profit enough with the current setup.
1175  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2022/2023 on: April 19, 2023, 06:14:03 PM
I think a lot of people are watching this derby match for the first time, yes it's because Cristiano Ronaldo was there that made us interested in watching that match. Overall, Al Hilal is indeed superior to Al Nassr, and their meeting record also says so.
Oh yes, Al Hilal is reportedly interested in signing Lionel Messi and they are ready to make Messi the most expensive player and surpass Cristino Ronaldo. Will that really happen, because Messi also seems to have started to feel uncomfortable at Paris Saint Germain.
and finally the match between Al-Hilal vs Al-Nassr with a score of 2-0 where Al-Hilal was superior in today's match. yes, of course Al-Hilal is superior. He is playing at his own cage with a very good performance and it is impossible for Al-Hilal to want to lose and feel embarrassed if he loses when he is the host.
but it's a shame when Al-Nassr uses Ronaldo but can't score any goals.

for the news that Al-Hilal wants to bring Messi to become the most expensive player at Al-Hilal, it seems that there are still pros and cons, while Messi is currently still comfortable with PSG, even though Messi currently feels uncomfortable because the salary he gets may not be what he wants.
but it seems difficult for Al-Hilal to be able to buy Messi. because there is news that PSG will extend the contract with Messi.
If you ask me the league is official over with this game. It would be very hard for Ittihad to lose that many games in a row, very limited games left and we are going to see them lose 2 times in a row? I do not think that will happen, I think it would be unlikely.

The best case right now would be Nassr finishing second, they are going to be upset with such result for sure, but they just have to accept that fact. If they can somehow convince Mourinho to get there, the difference will be huge, they can actually win the league by a lot of points, it's obvious how they should play and the talent they need at which positions, he would take this team to another level without a doubt, he would help more than even Ronaldo could.
1176  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: April 19, 2023, 05:18:50 PM
I think the red card was fair enough and the referee was right about the red card but Lens aren't lucky because they had to play with players less than PSG for more than 80 minutes, this can be even harder if you consider they are playing against a team with many superstar players like Messi and Mbappe, but if they were playing with the full team maybe they had a good chance to even beat PSG.
I agree that red card was the right decision. The logic of red card is to punish someone who attacked directly at the player with a possibility of injury as well, and that dude put the bottom of his shoes right on Hakimis ankle, that should be as hard as it gets and it's a direct red card without a doubt.

However, I also think that even without that red card, I would have seen that as a game that PSG would have won, they could have played 11vs11 all game and PSG would have still won that game, they were just too much better. Lens in trouble now, they need to win all they can from this point on to get 2nd place at the end of the season. PSG just made sure nobody can get close, the league is over for them basically.
1177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you love and enjoy taking risk? on: April 19, 2023, 04:18:59 AM
That type of risk/profit calculations will make you rich if you know what you are doing. Most people look at the reward and think that if it is big enough then they will invest without looking at the risk, there are few who take too little risk and in return get a very low reward. But if you buy something that has a little risk but a good reward then that would be the key to make a profit and only a few people can do that.

I personally hope that the best thing to do would be making a profit via calculating as little risk as possible first, filter the coins with risk and find the lowest ones, such as bitcoin, and then start looking at the potential profit because that would be a lot better to have less risk first.
Yes, most people can't understand the ratio at profit/risk and that is why many of them lose a lot of money as well. I personally feel like the best thing anyone can do would be making profit based on as little risk as possible as well. However, we are at altcoin speculation section right now, and people who would speculate about some obscure altcoin would not be people who want to take a little risk, this is the place for people who like to take a lot of risk and they will do that without a doubt.

It means that they are going to end up buying something very small cap, and they will either make a good profit and be happy about it, or they will lose all of their money on some rugpull and yet will not give up.
1178  Economy / Economics / Re: The CBDC...(damnation) on: April 18, 2023, 07:49:58 PM
We have seen this many times in the past. CBDC, ALTS, they are all cheap copy of Bitcoin. And they way they say that it will do this and that and what not. In the end, they bite the dust despite putting all the effort they could have. Reason? They all are centralized shit. You can never provide what Bitcoin is doing now if you make all your coins and currency centralized shit.
As we have seen in the past that no other crypto were able to take over BTC, I don't think any other CBDC will be able to do that too. It's just the digital form of fiat currency. What new to that? You can't use it outside your country without converting them. But BTC is the global currency where in everwhere  BTC will always remain as 1 BTC.
So there's no need to worry about anything. Britcoin. What's that? We only choose Bitcoin.
Alts and CBDC are different, CBDC is a bit closer to stablecoins and I think that is the closest thing to each other. I know that it is going to be a difficult thing to accept them into the crypto because many people will be against it since it was crypto that allowed us to get away from the governments whereas this would be governments following us into crypto and I can see why people could dislike it.

But, I wouldn't say that a digital dollar would be similar to ETH or BNB for example, those are totally different things and I would not compare them. However, USDT and a digital dollar would be similar, in one of them you trust the company Tether, in the other you trust USA government, that is why I feel like it would be used anyway.
1179  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2022/2023 on: April 18, 2023, 06:09:25 PM
Yes but I don't fully get the point why clubs fire their coaches when there isn't really a crisis. Now in all honesty, does anyone think that Dinko Jelicic is going to improve the team? It's like in the Bundesliga with Nagelsmann and Tuchel. What can Tuchel even do when you are 1st in the Bundesliga, next round in the Champions League and also in the DFB Pokal. I think it is ridiculous. Graham Potter, that made a lot of sense because he was so bad that nobody could believe he had been the coach for so long. You could even take Klopp and say that he doesn't deserve to be the coach anymore. But bringing on Dinko Jelicicfor Garcia doesn't chance much in my opinion.

Mourinho would be a different story but it would be sad if he does it. I would prefer to see him coaching some interesting European clubs.
I think this is the impact of Al Nassr defeat and draw in the last 5 matches and their chances of taking the title are getting lower
Yes it's normal for the owners to have expected high expectations especially after Ronaldo arrival but the result is not as expected
The club management just wants to find the right solution to overcome the last bad result regarding whether it worked or not they couldn't say for sure but at least there is an effort.
Yeah true, after building such a team and having only just a bit of games left, they couldn't handle having a manager that would lose or draw with teams like that. We are so used to in other leagues that big clubs could end up losing to smaller clubs because that's football, but here we have only 15 clubs and the difference between the top and the bottom is huge.

There is a reason why there is only 15 clubs, because other clubs are not good at all, they are amateur level, the bottom team and the top team difference is bigger than premier league team and championship team, maybe even league one, so that is why you need to win all the games you can aside from maybe just the other top teams and they failed to do that.

With six points difference at the top, Galatasaray seem to be the winner of the Turkish super league this season. Six points may not be a lot but I don't think either of or both of Fenerbahce and Besiktas will win the next remaining nine games of the league season.
What I love about these three teams at the top is that they all have at least two prolific striker that can score goals in their team. Fenerbahce has Valencia who will most likely get over 30 goals this season. They also have Batshuyi.
Besiktas has both Aboubakar and Tosun who are also okay strikers while Gala has Icardi. Although Icardi struggled a bit at first, he is getting better. Mertens is the player that has not been able to score as he would like to.
No doubt, that game between Besiktas and Fenerbahce basically sealed their win for the title as well, that would have been 3 points if Fenerbahce managed to get a win and it would have been still just one game difference, but now it's 2 games and very hard to cover at this point, plus Galatasaray keeps on getting easy wins and playing very well.

As mentioned before there is a doom waiting for Galatasaray though, they have Icardi, the guy with the hattrick and an assist, and next season he is gone, it was just a loan spell there and if they can't get him then next season they will suck. They can't be this good with Gomis, so they will need to find another player there and I am pretty sure that nobody will be as good as him.
