1061  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: May 25, 2023, 09:14:32 PM
The gaps between mourinho and mendilibar is too far.

Mourinho has been winning so many trophy with various clubs while mendilibar has nothing to be showed on his profile. He is not having a lot of experience. It must become the main weakness from sevilla in upcoming match.
Mourinho knew so well what shall be done by roma to win the game against sevilla.

The coach has been playing very important role to determine the strategy that will be increasing the chance for the club to win the game.

I were learning from leverkusen vs roma. I saw how so many people were yelling leverkusen was far better than roma but with a great tactic by mourinho and as roma was able going to the final after it was beating leverkusen in the semi final.
The coach will able to make the difference from the performance of club.
that's true, despite the many criticisms about the defensive tactics implemented by Jose Maurinho, he certainly managed to lead the AS Roma team to the Europa League final this season.
Jose Maurinho is very experienced and he even won 5 finals on the European stage with 4 different teams with a 100 percent winning record in the previous 5 finals.

but on the other hand, Sevilla is the most successful team in the Europa League in the last 10 years apart from now that they have a new coach but this is also something to be reckoned with.

I think this season's Europa League final is ideal and it's going to be a very tough final.
What happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object? That is what we are going to see this time around. Sevilla is known to beat their opponents quite frequently on finals and won Europa more than anyone else, and Mourinho is known to go out on finals to win, and he is a beast at finals with 100% rate as you said in the last 5 finals.

So when you consider this, both sides look like they are used to winning the finals when they are there and should be the common expectation if they faced other teams. But this time, they are both facing each other, which means either Mourinho will finally lose a finals, or Sevilla will not win the Europa. Wonder which one it will be, I still put my money on Roma to win, but I am not confident about it.

Unless there is another catastrophe to hit the world, like China invading Taiwan, then it feels like things are slowly getting better right now. Russia's invasion of Ukraine created some huge domino effects which rippled around the world, not least of which is Russia ending up much poorer and with less influence - especially as it has showed up their ridiculously bad military. Sure, Europe has to pay a bit more for oil and gas, but to preserve freedom it makes sense to accept that. We probably took for granted that they wouldn't do something so stupid, because a lot of staple ingredients like wheat came out of these two countries which have been ravished by war. It's always the poorest who will suffer first and the richest countries that suffer last.
You could never know, you gave a great example with Taiwan, we wouldn't really know if that will happen or not, maybe it will, maybe it won't. The whole world is on the verge of collapsing and we are watching, why do you think we have more and more floods and fires every single year, wait for this summer and I guarantee you 100% that there will be huge fires somewhere on the world, no idea where it will pop up this time, but it happens every summer, didn't when I was back in college or high school.

So we could definitely have world shattering stuff at any time, or maybe we won't. If we do, then we are going to see financially strain billions this time, and there is no pretty way out of that, it is going to screw over everyone, even rich people will be impacted hugely this time around.
1063  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: May 25, 2023, 06:59:23 PM
PSG is a strong enough team without Neymar. And they are not dependent on Neymar's performance. PSG can win against any team if Mbappe and Messi play well. PSG will play just two more matches this season. PSG will play against Strasbourg and Clermont Fort. These two teams are not very strong. And so I don't think PSG's performance will deteriorate in any way even if Neymar is not with the squad for these two matches. But Neymar is likely to be in the starting XI for the next two matches if he is fully healthy. PSG management will not keep him on the bench.
Not entirely sure about this. I mean surely they are good enough to win the league without him, that is obvious and they should be getting someone else if Neymar leaves as well, not like they are going to end up with anything much worse. However, we are also considering something that we haven't in a while, which is the fact that they haven't won UCL with this team, they wanted to, that was their aim, in fact they fired managers for winning the league but not getting UCL neither.

So I assume that if Neymar leaves, they weren't even good enough to get UCL with him, they would be much worse and have no chance without him. They need to end up getting some very good players, definitely for midfield, so that they could do much better on the long run and get that UCL cup.
1064  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers on: May 24, 2023, 09:11:50 PM
you've made a few unverified claims, so let's talk about it.

~snip~
As I said before, Modric is/was the only ballon d'or winner I can remember, and certainly the best for a long time, I literally said it was back in the day if it ever happened. that is as old as 20+ even some of them 30+ years ago. Not denying that he wasn't good, never watched him and this is the first time I am hearing about him, he might be better than Modric, I will give you that, but you have to accept that was long time ago.

My point was that their best player for the last 20+ or so years is about to retire, probably I assume, which is a bad thing for them. Is it good that he is retiring? No. About the other matter, you can have the greatest goalkeeper in the world, and the greatest defenders in history, if you can't score, it will end 0-0, so you need scorers, even if you concede 5 goals, if you score 6, you win. That's why strikers valued more than other positions.

I hope Croatia continues their success, I really would love to see nations with not big pockets to win, it's much more fun that way, it's boring to see super rich nations win, I loved it when Argentina won over France, so I do hope you are right and I am wrong.
1065  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2023 Bitcoin can take a position discussion. on: May 24, 2023, 07:19:41 PM
Correction has indeed occurred this month and I see that the percentage of correction is slightly larger this month than last month although the price level is still running at a very reasonable level of $26K to $27K in the market. I also expected Bitcoin to have a better surprise this month so that the recovery looks even better, but I don't think that will happen any time soon given that a bump always takes more time than a correction.
it is very difficult to hope that even though there is always that opportunity, there will be another surprise like when entering the beginning of the year which was unexpectedly surprising. this month it will seem that there will be no surprise increases or very significant decreases but there will be stagnation at the prices at the beginning of the month. but in my opinion if this year it will increase, it is certain that it will not be more than $ 50K and even if it is corrected it will be able to stay above $ 20K, but indeed it is better to be corrected where usually there will be movement to increase after being corrected.
You cannot have every single month like that, it is just not possible, however you could have a situation where it will be a lot better for the future of bitcoin and that is a few months that doesn't drop too much. Sure it went from a bit above 30k to a bit under 27k, that's a drop, about a 10% drop but that is not a huge drop. We have seen 70%+ drops before, so 10% is not a huge one, and its understandable level.

When you have that, it means that we are going to end up with something much better, it should be considered as a good thing that we had few good months, and a few months that stood still. This could in return mean maybe we will go back up again and the result will be awesome if that happens, I would highly support that.
1066  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: May 24, 2023, 06:19:30 PM
Aston Villa is likely to find it difficult to maintain their ranking at the end of this season. Because against Brighton is the most difficult thing at the moment. Brighton have had a very good game in their last few weeks. So it is possible that Aston Villa will lose points in their last match. And I think Tottenham have a bigger chance to move Aston Villa's ranking. Because only Tottenham have a fairly easy match against Leeds. Meanwhile, Brentford seems to have little hope in their last match. Because Brentfors actually had to face the strongest team this season, namely Man City.
Indeed, this season Brighton is an extraordinary team and with the statistics they have, of course it is not a problem to be able to beat Aston Villa, but I think Aston Villa will not lose they will draw against Brighton more. On the other hand, Spurs are a top team that has dropped dramatically to 7th in the current standings and it's not meant to belittle them, but in the last 5 matches they have only won 1 time, isn't that a very bad result?

Even though it was only against Leeds they cannot be taken lightly because Leeds is also trying hard to get away from the relegation zone in the last game. So I think even though the Spurs are so favored, if they let their guard down it will definitely be an opportunity for Leeds to secure full points at home.
What they have done with the budget they have and the income they have, is a huge deal. I still think that there is some true football left in premier league and in England football structure, that is very much the reason why I live English football better than any other. Obviously at the very top City ruined that, and Chelsea is about to ruin that too, and Newcastle is on the verge of ruining, these teams are all playing football we see everywhere else, a football with money and City has achieved the peak, but others will soon follow.

But, it makes me happy to see teams like Brighton do well, because it means there is still some people out there who believes in how football should be played and how it would be more fun to watch. I have more fun watching Brighton type of teams than teams like City.
1067  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It's on! 2024 US Presidential Election Biden+Harris Vs Trump Bitcoin betting.... on: May 24, 2023, 04:40:09 PM
I am not sure whether it is a viable scenario. There is a lot of bad blood between Trump and DeSantis at the moment. Trump has criticized all those who are planning to participate in the GOP primaries, including DeSantis. And Trump is not someone who will tolerate an independent voice such as DeSantis in his administration. He wants someone who is subordinate and DeSantis is unsuitable for that role. Anyway, Trump doesn't need DeSantis. The latter is not polling good numbers, and unless that change sometime soon Trump is not going to take him seriously.
Politics is politics, I think it is not impossible to see DeSantis as his running mate. We have never seen any politician that has strong spine before, from no party, in no nation. All over the world politicians are known for attacking each other one moment, then getting together to win in another moment.

There are some people who like DeSantis, and there are more people who like Trump, which means that if they get together then they could get a lot more votes. Seeing this, they will try to be each others opponents, but then if they could get to a meeting and talk about this, then they will realize, no matter how much they may dislike each other, they could just get together and win. You think Pence liked Trump? Of course not, but it worked better for both.
1068  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wife discovers husband's hidden Bitcoin during divorce proceeding on: May 23, 2023, 08:20:09 PM
Well... This story is quite different. A husband hid his crypto assets from his wife amid divorce saga, the wife had her suspicion, then hired a forensic expert who found out that during the splitting of the property, the husband failed to declared his 12 BTC stashed somewhere in an undisclosed wallet. She's now asking that the Bitcoin be splitted into two.
Marriage has lost its value in our society ever since divorce was introduced into marriages, now woman just get married so they can divorce and get half of the mans wealth and go to spend it with some undeserving lazy man that didn't work and hustle when his fellow men were hustling to get their wealth. I don't blame the man for hiding his Bitcoin, he was keeping it to help him recover.

The man shouldn't give up his Bitcoin, the wife can take half of every other thing but his Bitcoin should be his investment for the future and not to be destroyed by the wife. If the wife takes the Bitcoin, she'll just sell them and waste the money as most divorce wifes do.
This is such a terrible and disgusting thought, I can't believe that someone could ever even consider this let alone outright talk about it. You are saying that WOMEN, as in you are saying an ENTIRE gender, marries men and then divorces them just for their money.

You are basically putting a blame on an entire gender for doing something wrong, this isn't about men or women, it's all about the person and individual. Plus, if the law states that people need to share half and half whatever they earned together when they were married, and him hiding it to not pay up, and you think that woman in this situation is the wrongful one? I am sorry but anyone who doesn't this man to pay up, doesn't know what marriage means, the moment you decide you want to marry someone, you agree that 50% of whatever you earn while together, belongs to her, if you disagree, don't marry, if you do marry, you already accepted this deal.
1069  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Everton Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: May 23, 2023, 06:36:32 PM
I asked Eddie on stream on Saturday, if Stake are being taken to court over VPN use and people from Australia playing on the site and he said .."NO" ..there are no court cases against Stake.  Roll Eyes

I think OP, must come back with proof of this case being lodged against Eddie (Stake) and then we can discuss this further. I see no need for everyone to get fired up, if there are nothing.  Wink
Why would they though, because lets take a look at the "crime" here, stake is saying you can't gamble from one nation, and people still do, which party is the responsible one for that? I would guess that people who gamble from Australia even though they are explicitly told that they can't are the ones who are committing the crime and I would guess that they would be the ones who are breaking the law.

What can stake do about this, it doesn't look like that will change anything anytime soon. I know that it is not going to be easy to find a proof unless you can get the court documents, and if it doesn't exist like Eddie said then there are none. So all in all, I am expecting that the best thing to do in this case is to make sure they keep going on the right path.
1070  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers on: May 23, 2023, 05:56:22 PM
These are the 14 main players of the Croatian national team that coach Dalic will use in the EURO qualifiers and in the League of Nations (it is possible that Modrić will retire after the League of Nations).
How many old players do you actually see here? Two or possibly three, and all the rest are young players who can play for the Croatian national football team for a very long time, the next 4 or even 8 years.
I think the time has come to stop repeating the false claims that the Croatian national football team is a very old team and that it is in decline. On the contrary, we have never had a team with more young, talented and quality footballers than now.
You do realize that one of the old players is the captain of the team and the best player they have ever had on their entire history and I assume the only ballon d'or winner from their nation? Not sure if that is the case, if any other Croation won it before, and if so god knows when that was. But, we are all aware that as soon as Modric leaves, even though the team that is left is not terrible, it will not be as good as they were with Modric, that's a very important distinction.

Plus, we can't really say how good or bad they will be based on whatever we have seen previously, every single cup is a single thing we need to look at. Look at Italy, won euro and failed to qualify for world cup, it's just that simple and we need to consider that a team is as good as how good they are on that cup, not before, not after, just focus on a single tournament.
1071  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: May 23, 2023, 12:52:32 PM
It may be too early to talk yet, but I'm giving a 80 percent chance for Dortmund to win the title. Good news for those who are betting on the possibility of Dortmund becoming the champion at the beginning of the year. Bayern Munich hegemony, which has been going on for years, seems to be coming to an end this year. I still don't understand their defeat against Leipzig. An unexpected ending.
The Bavarian previous defeat was a great shock to them, no one expected them to give up this period, they need go strengthen their muscle if they still want to lift the trophy. Bayern Munich were favorite to win to win bundesliga from the early starts of the season, things got a little bit rough for the Bavarian probably because of the new boss, Thomas Tuchel, he's getting acquainted with the players. With the recent performance displayed by borussia Dortmund, they're close to lifting the bundesliga title. It's a matter of consistency to see finally the club that will be crowned, tensed motive from supporters.
I feel like that wasn't just a shock but what their fear was as well. Leipzig is a great team, a team that is at the third place, a team that had the chance to actually beat them, we all knew that they would win against Köln, that was easy game from the start of the season, they knew that, but Leipzig was a team that could beat them and they feared that they would lose the whole league on that game, there was a chance and they knew that. So what happened was their fear coming true, and that's why they are having this much trouble.

I hope that they will do a lot better on the long run but that doesn't mean that we are going to see them change anything, they will just win the last game and hope that Dortmund will end up losing their game and somehow get the title anyway.
1072  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you give one reason why I should buy bitcoin? on: May 23, 2023, 11:19:34 AM
Do you feel that you are as important as a friend, some of us have to convince you to invest in bitcoin, you invest or not it will not be a masla, h especially for me personally, I am quite simple, if you are interested in something human will be relatively curious about It and find out in all the ways he can find the answer, and you only do stupid questions like that.
No one requires you to buy Bitcoin, and there is no guarantor institution for you to benefit in Bitcoin, you must understand that first, but most people here are those who profit from learning bitcoin and investing in bitcoin with various strategies.

By the way, in investing in Bitcoin, don't listen to other people, personal analysis is more prioritized in investing, to keep you away from regret if you follow other people's words.
This is a bit aggressive but correct answer. I feel like people are not realizing that bitcoin is an asset, which means that it can be 1 cent or it can be 1 million dollars, we do not know which one it will be. Nobody can guarantee you anything, which means that it can't be a scam, there is no possible way, there is nothing that you could lose bunch of money and you know this beforehand could be considered scam when you do end up losing it because we already told you that was a possibility.

If you want to invest, great, then go ahead and invest but if you do not want to invest then you should not be doing that and you should be considering that the best thing to do is just focusing on making money the way you possibly could in any other way.
1073  Economy / Speculation / Re: When to buy one time off bitcoin. on: May 22, 2023, 03:52:03 PM
The chances of bitcoin correcting towards $20k are slim, but that doesn't mean it won't happen. If you believe in history and think it will repeat itself, you will find that it is quite possible. In 2019, after bitcoin recovered, it also had a major correction down $5k, and if history repeats itself, it is clear that we still have a chance to buy cheaply in the coming months.
But there is no guarantee everything will repeat itself, and I agree with you that now is also a good time to buy in. It is not necessary to buy one time, but we can divide the capital to buy.
I do not think it will happen, I do not see that chance as slim but literally non-existent. I feel like it is not going to be anything but a 25k+ price for a long time and then we are going to start going up eventually. People are looking at it the wrong way though, there is no single one time off for bitcoin, there never was and there never will be because if you do that, then even if you bought at 16k, you are not going to get wealthy.

You need to keep reinvesting into bitcoin more and more whenever you get some money so that those increases makes you rich. I personally do that, I try to achieve something that will make more sense and hopefully it will one day, but during that time I keep buying to have a bigger amount of bitcoin to be able to get richer easier in the future when bitcoin price goes up.
1074  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the difference between banks and big whales in crypto? on: May 21, 2023, 08:16:10 PM
Banks are earning big profit from our deposits, they earn bigger than the interest that we get from our deposit because they put a bigger interest rate through thier borrower's or lenders, i think bank is not too far from big whales in crypto they buy or collect coins in dip and they sell in bull and they earn bigger from the holders that sell at loss  they are almost the same or what? What dou you think?
I think the capability of acting quick is the biggest difference. If I am just a person and have a billion dollars and buy bitcoin with it, then I can sell it as quickly as I bought it and it would not take too long, even if it is OTC purchase, then I can do it as quickly for selling too.

However, if I am a bank, or a company and buy or sell bitcoin then I would not be able to make that quick decisions, you get the board together, you talk about it,  you vote on it etc etc, it takes a long time to do that and that is why it is not a smart decision. I personally hope that the best thing to do for this case would be making sure that we are at a stage where big companies, no matter if bank or not, can't make these decisions silently neither, so there is a huge difference.
1075  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: who Want To Bet On 2024 USA elections? on: May 21, 2023, 06:14:50 PM
This happened because of the declining economic turmoil and some financial inflation in each country, causing an interconnected economy in each country.
Whoever will become the next president, maybe you don't mind it, but the hope is that the president will be able to fix all the problems that occur, including the declining economy and finances.
But if you look at it from a more real point of view, Trump is the only one with the potential to win the election.

A president is indeed very influential and can control many external things in a country, that's why every citizen must be able to choose a candidate leader who can really work well.
I think whoever wins, and I do not mean just Trump or Biden, but I mean more like ANYONE who wins, will not be able to solve it because it is not easy to solve. If you printed money that means inflation, if you increase rates to drop inflation that means bankruptcy, if you cover that then it means money gone out of tax payers, if you do that then debt goes up, which results with not much money to government workers, which means overall recession since market lacks money, if you reverse that then it's inflation again.

As you can see it has been constantly the same cycle over and over again. It will get better with time, that's the only thing, people will adjust everything, market will adjust itself, and that requires time, government can stop doing anything, we just need time.

Lyon got a good score for themselves by beating Monaco. Although this defeat does not pose great risks for Monaco, it will still cause a 2 point difference between them if Lille wins the missing match. Lille has to beat Monaco in order to go to the Europa League. This win of Lyon made Lille fans happy.
I think anything could happen between now and by the end of the season, we could see Lille get the win for that extra game and then beat every other game and be fourth. It's possible and they could go to europa league as well and that would be very good. I know that it's not going to change much because lets face it if you are not ready for it, then conference league could be better for a team at that level.

Anyone who joins conference league, monaco or lille, would have a higher chance to win and that is what I am supporting right now. If they end up being fourth and go to europa, then not only they will face harder teams, but they will lose and come back home a lot quicker as well without earning any cups at all, so maybe conference is better for them.
1077  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 20, 2023, 05:44:43 PM
I don’t think Man City's Ilkay Gundogan is the ideal candidate for Arsenal's summer midfield plans. Although his contract expires in the summer and faces a potential exit despite being a regular this season. For a player with not many years left on his career, it’s not a good investment so I don’t think Arteta will bring him to the Emirates. Barcelona are the ones keen on signing him with Xavi searching for a new midfielder to bolster his squad as Sergio Busquets leaves at the end of the season.
Looking at how he still has some talent left in him, and players can play until 35+ years old these days easily, I feel like they can take like another 5 years of his later stages and that could be good. Plus he has payed at City for so long, and they have a few players that left City and joined Arsenal as well, which means that they know how to win, they were part of the teams that won so many and if they win UCL this season Ilkay would be part of that as well.

All these combined makes it a lot better for their future. Sure maybe not just pure talent, there could be younger players who would be a lot better, but mentally speaking Ilkay is one of a kind and they can't get anyone this good for cheaper, he would be a great leader of the team the moment he wears the jersey.
1078  Economy / Gambling / Re: What all are your considerations before picking your go to sportsbook? on: May 19, 2023, 09:23:39 PM
in regard to UI as there are different perspectives among the gamblers and it's really a self explanatory fact that they have to choose or to put this thing into considerations, I believe that it's more n how trustable the site or the sport-house will be and how they handle the client in terms of real-time supports and the competitive odds that they have inside the house, plus the perks and wide scopes of available sports and places that they can cover.

One-stop place where you can sort all those games that you know and wanted to bet with, just an opinion, but the focus is on the reputations and with how the team handles their clients.
That is definitely a good one, and this is how Stake is doing it, they have a sportsbook AND a casino at the same time and they have tons of staff that is working on support, these are all good right? Well, I can still find some tiny issues, sometimes those matter, sometimes they don't. For example, I have always warned stake that they are a premium place, they are making it look like they are going to only cater to wealthy people and that's not bad for their business, that is good for income, but us poor people may not want to play there, that's one.

Another one is the fact that their sportsbook has worse odds than their competition so it looks like they are not going to be preferred when I can get better odds somewhere else. So its not all about just finding a place that does it all.
1079  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Conference League Discussion Thread -- 2022/23 | SFs on: May 19, 2023, 08:02:39 PM
as expected west ham won in the first leg and won again in the second leg, they were under a lot of pressure in this game and it's even unbelievable that they only had 30% of ball possession while AZ had 70% but couldn't score a goal managed to move on to another phase, on the contrary they had the misfortune of seeing a goal from west ham at 90 + 4 minutes, without a doubt it was a big bucket of cold water thrown on the heads of the AZ players when they conceded the goal, all their efforts were destroyed , but just like European competitions, most of the time the team with the most luck and strategy wins and not the best team

Well, Fiorentina was very lucky in this game, without a doubt that Fiorentina can get good results when they make an effort, but I think that Basel was just unlucky, it's not because they are inferior to Fiorentina that they stayed, they just weren't lucky in this game. so we will see Fiorentina playing against West Ham in the final, in my opinion in this scenario I see Fiorentina being champions, if Fiorentina is playing well like today then they will be champions, but if they don't play well then West Ham has a good defense in these European games you can come out with victory
I think it is going to be West Ham win at the end, Fiorentina is a good team but West ham looks much better and dominating a lot easier as well. Lets see how it will end, it will be fun to watch, all three are looking fun to watch. I think they did a great thing by adding this league, for the past 2 years we are getting extra games to watch and I feel like that's a great idea, not many people would insist on something like this and they did and this improved the brand value of it as well.

At first I assumed I would not care because it would be only low level teams that would play here, but since last years semi finals I try to watch all of it because it looks like we are watching something entertaining anyway, not at UCL or Europa level, but still close competition between clubs.

Juventus were unlucky but Sevilla were very good at taking advantage of opportunities and reaching their goal in extra time.
However this will have cost effort, they must recover for the next match against Roma.
And in the end Sevilla showed that they are not easy to beat, no matter how favored their opponents are. After previously they managed to get rid of Manchester United, now they are doing it again by getting rid of Juventus. Now we have confirmed the two teams that will appear in the final, between Sevilla vs AS Roma.
That's true, plus I think there were a few positions where they were not giving the chance neither. Like that cuadrado move was 100% penalty and without a doubt should have been given, and yet the ref still didn't give it, even with the VAR and all, it wasn't given and that's a damn shame, glad that they won but if they lost this game then that position would have been considered as a dark mark for the whole game and everyone would have been still talking about it.

I mean they won and I am still talking about it, imagine how many more people would have done that. In the end they are at the finals and there is a good chance that they could win it yet again. They are really a great club for this tournament, even when the roster changes, they still do great.
