1221  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: April 03, 2023, 02:14:24 PM
I didn't expect arsenal to be eliminated in the  Europa but what I noticed from the game they played against Sporting they were not having the strength to maintain their performance in the Europa League,  all their focus is in the premier league because the premier league is what they are interested in to win and which is more difficult for them.
just like barcelona who was eliminated from the european league, everyone also didn't expect it but that's football, we have to be able to accept that fact

the European league is really very tight, even though in their local league, Sporting is ranked 4th in the standings but they are quite tough when facing arsenal, now I favor man utd or juventus who are most likely to win
I think they were expected to lose at least a bit. I mean sure when you hear "Barcelona got knocked out of europa league" that sounds weird, but the team they played against was Manchester United, which is why I believe that there is a bit of a talk there in the end.

I feel like it shouldn't be a shock to anyone that we could be in this much trouble. I fear that it is not going to be an issue or anything like that, it is normal and I feel like it would be normal for them to go on like this without winning it. Arsenal was different, they lost to Lisbon which was a much smaller team and they should have won that game and they would be getting a good cup for this season.
1222  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we now on Crypto bull run? on: April 02, 2023, 06:24:41 PM
the chances of it dropping below $20k are very slim, especially now that bitcoin is on a positive trend and the bull is getting closer. I'm sure after this there will be a lot of significant price increases because many investors start buying bitcoin and altcoins to make profits when the bull arrives.
The OP is talking about $15500 not $20k. $15.5k may seem to be impossible but $20k is still possible. Aren't you aware last time that we touch $19k? May these small increases in the price that you see lately not blind you about the possibilities of a downfall especially now that there are some issues that are forming again pertaining to cryptos.

We are still far away from the bull run so there is still a mixture of down falls and small increases but we can use these fluctuations in our favor. Other than Bitcoin, altcoin can be a good addition in the side because alts can also follow once bitcoin pumps a lot but we should be very careful on picking an altcoin.
1223  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 01, 2023, 06:41:20 PM
The knicks are sneaky becoming a team no one wants to see in the playoffs.  They are one of the best road teams and are tough to beat back to back.  They are gritty and withstood a cavs first quarter of 47 points.  No Randle no problem.

And I'm gonna say this someone tell me I'm wrong.  Brunson was the best steal in free agency in the last 10 years.

Dallas declined extending him 4 years for $55mil mid season last year 😂
Doncic as the 5th pick (technically third) in a year where first was Ayton, and second was Bagley, technically speaking third and fifth, Atlanta and mavs had a trade, so fifth mavs got doncic that way by giving one pick, and fourth was JJJ as well.

So I can easily say that, wildly the best player in many years, a superstar, someone who is by far the best of that year, going third or even technically fifth? That was by far the best steal in the last 10 years. Nobody made any draft move that was better than that. This kid was the euroleague MVP before he even joined NBA at 19 years old, he was the MVP among grown up 20-30+ year old players league, and he wasn't drafted first.
1224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: According To me Ethereum Looks Weak on: April 01, 2023, 06:05:49 PM
better to join this account as both of you seems not trusting Ethereum https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5414671.0 , why need to crease some post like this? if you think Ethereum is weak then leave from that coin.
there are so many currencies to trust why need to say these words against ethereum when there are so many people who trusted this?
But why?, Is creating post like this wrong? I guess not but these peeps are only giving their own opinion on some cryptos. There's even posts here who are much worser than them like shilling and scams. If you think that these posts are like a FUD, well you must not be affected with it because you don't look like a newbie on here.

FUDs are also normal on crypto but as long as we have a faith and some knowledge on the coin that we hold, we will only ignore them. If you will read his post again. He mentioned that he will buy ETH. I think you only misunderstood what he was saying there because he was also a supporter of this coin.
1225  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|🎉BetFury Affiliate Program is live| 💸Earn with RevShare up to 60% on: April 01, 2023, 04:38:02 PM
I don't think Betfury have been backing their token lately. The casino is not promoting BFG. There is no use for the token other than steaking. Betfury needs to invest more in marketing the BFG. Only with this approach can we think about listing on major crypto exchanges.
For sure they are reading the discussion happen on this thread and maybe they don't have enough fundings to spend on that matter that's why people don't see any marketing happen to boost the BFG token. To long for this token without good interaction so maybe its best if they could release some good updates to convince or gather new investor to support their project also their token.
I think when you consider that most of us are getting the profit from the casino itself, then it is normal for the team to not have that much money to spend on marketing. Think about it, we are talking about a situation where all the BFG token holders are getting the dividends, then where could the team make any profit from?

Not the casino losers, not the token because if they keep selling then their own token would go down in value, it is literally the tokens they once sold and that's it, there is nothing more. At the end of the day we are not going to see the team spend millions on anything, they claimed they did, but that's about it, not going to happen again.
1226  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: March 31, 2023, 08:08:04 PM
I have 4 games to play, Bilbao to beat Getafe, Barcelona to beat Elche, Real Madrid to beat Valladolid and Madrid to beat Betis. The hardest one will be ATM vs Betis because this season Betis has been pretty good and I think they may get a point out of that game as well and I believe that's an important difference, it is going to matter.

But, I am going to stick with these four games and see if it will be any value, they are definitely games that look like could be won by all these teams and combined they make a good odd. Obviously we are getting near to the end so all players are a bit tired compared to start of the season, so unexpected results could happen as well.
1227  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: March 31, 2023, 07:14:46 PM
Big win no doubt but don't exagerate this dominating performance. These two teams know each other very well and it's not like the Bucks cannot make adjustments during the playoffs. They also understand the strength of Celtics and their coach can also device strategies to counter that.

Forget about the rumor. It's just a made up excuse by whoever is spreading that.
There are things that teams could look for when they are defending in the playoffs and this type of performance would not be possible in the playoffs because of that. We have seen multiple times of backdoor cuts, we have seen multiple times players shooting over defenders hands, seen multiple quick transition on the board.

These are all things they could have adjusted even within the game and for some reason they didn't, and the bucks defense didn't look like they were even trying, they looked given up. So during playoffs they may work harder on defense and defend these things a lot better and the result would be different. I am not saying Bucks would win, just that it wouldn't be this much of a difference.
1228  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: March 31, 2023, 06:44:32 PM
Milan are also playing the cups, so tiredness also plays a determining factor in my opinion
Maybe he has too old a roster of players? I do not know
I too am amazed at Milan's poor performance, it almost seems like a second Inter
Yes, fatigue can be said to be a factor in whether they will play well or not. Because fatigue will greatly affect their focus in the game, so that will determine what will happen at the end of the match. In the midst of a busy schedule, the coaching staff must be able to anticipate this by rotating players, for example. There have been a lot of teams I've seen that have had to decline because they had players who weren't as fit.
I would guess that the most common one is that cup games of most nations are played by either young players or just bench players teams can't get much out of and that causes the teams to have some rest. Not all the players, but most of the players can rest in those games and that way they end up with a good return when the games start again and they are rested.

You can even do that in some of the league games, not rest every single player, but replace 2 player each game to have a full rotated rested players in less than 2 months, every 2 months one player gets a rest, that's a good cycle and should be considered as a good way of getting rid of fatigue as well.

do not forget, there are like to or more possible ways through which gamblers could get addicted to gambling, you made mention of one, which is -

- winning to much and wanting more - this can be said to be caused by greed, but on a second thought, I asked myself, who ever sees an legitimate easy way of making money but refuse to follow it, and prefer the hard way instead? None.
Another way through which people get addicted to gambling is -

- losing too much - in other words, one losing more than he or she can afford to lose/bear, without self control, the aftermath result of this is that, gambler could start chasing his losses without him or her even knowing it, and before they realize what is goin on, they are already addicted gamblers.

In all, self control and constantly checking ourselves plays Important  roles in ensuring that we never allow ourselves get addicted to gambling.
I think losing too much rarely makes someone a gambler, does it? I mean I remember a lot of people who lost and just went away, sometimes they lost a little but didn't like the feeling of losing their money, or just assumed that it was rigged (and this was back when all games were purely provably fair and not like today) and some just lost way too much and decided to change something in their life and went away.

This is why I believe that we should not be able to actually cause this type of trouble, forget about all of this for a second and remember that we are talking about a situation that hurts people if they want to stop and can't, only way to get that type of addiction is clear, not winning or losing, but doing it long enough time.
1230  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Public Perspective towards Bitcoin on: March 31, 2023, 04:44:04 PM
The answer to your question is in your post, like if people are consuming bad opinions from whatever source and taking BTC as wrong then all we can do is show them the right path. It does not matter how you will do it like by talking to them directly or by increasing the good opinion to be consumed by them so they could think of it as good.

Overall, this factor has some significant importance but to some extent, people need basic knowledge and confidence in themselves so that they do not depend on the research or opinions of others. One thing that they assume about BTC as being bad is, regulatory restrictions and less educational content like if at the start, due to no access to the right knowledge I left BTC then again I step feet into crypto and found this forum and after some time I started to understand basics of crypto after which, I totally understand how things work.
I would say that taking over the media would be a good way to start, and convincing the politician and the rich would be the first step for it. If the billionaires end up liking bitcoin, they would invest into it, and the media channels won't be able to say too many bad things about bitcoin because their overlords (the wealthy) would be investing into it and if they ever do that they would get fired.

This is why if we could make the rich people also stand with us on bitcoin topic, then we are going to see the media saying good things about it. Obviously there are people who go against things even when everyone supports it, but that's a smaller percentage and it's fine.
1231  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: March 30, 2023, 08:39:50 PM
Perhaps the Bayern players will show us a very good game, since they often had conflicts with Negelsmann, they can be positive about his dismissal. Moreover, they are always very strong at the Allianz Arena. I would look at the Bayern over 2 goals bet, I have not yet looked at what the odds will be for this bet, but I think that Bayern will show productive football. I'm sure they will quickly regain the first place.
Yes, especially after Negelsmann was replaced by Thomas Tuchel as the new manager of Bayern Munich and this will be his debut match against Borussia Dortmund at the Allianz Arena, it will be the assessment of all supporters playing as hosts later and this match will also have a big impact on the standings. Dortmund, who are at the top of the standings, are only one point ahead of Munich. I think munich have to win this match to overtake Dortmund at the top of the standings.  Wink
I would guess that the first game is as important as any for the managers and this one is highly the most anticipated one of them all. This will decide the league basically, obviously there are more games to go but that doesn't mean that we should not be expecting it to be easy for either side, because both sides are very strong so far in the season and looks like there could be some changes for sure.

I personally believe that the best thing to do would be making a bet on both sides to score, I can see both sides scoring this game, don't know who will win but I do not think that the teams will end the game goalless, and it will be multiple goals to end the game.
1232  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Early Profit can be misleading. on: March 30, 2023, 07:02:00 PM
Funny, and true. I don't really think trading is something that you can quickly learn and start earning money from it. To be honest, trading is a nonending learning phase. There are always unintended surprises from bitcoin or altcoin trading. The volatility and unwanted prices at any given time make it very hard to learn the true colors of the crypto trading pattern.

We can not have printed charts and theories in the crypto trading chart view because it is just so unpredictable at any given time. You can pass the test once or twice but not always when it comes to bitcoin trading for example.

So yes, when it comes to newbies or even experienced traders, the learning phase should not be stopped at all.
That "nonending" part of the learning process is the hardest thing people have hard time with. Some newbies make profit right away because we are on the bull run and yes that part is true, but some do it worse and learn just a bit, like a small bit of TA and profit from what they learned, which is great.

However, they keep on insisting doing the same thing over and over again on different markets expecting profit again because they learned something that makes them profit. Obviously that's not true, you need to keep learning and adjust based on the market but they are not aware of that unfortunately. This is even a bigger problem because they think they know how to, when they don't.
1233  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: March 30, 2023, 06:23:29 PM
It is true that PSG is still a strong candidate to win Ligue 1 this season. However, since PSG were eliminated from the Champions League and in the previous game they also lost against Rennes, now they are starting to have gaps in almost all lines, especially the midfield, which has very little contribution to create opportunities and this will certainly make the coach confused about determining the strategy in the next game. Certainly even if PSG can win it will have to work hard at the moment and don't usually win easily against their opponents.

Back to the Marseille vs Montpellier match, with the advantages I mentioned above, of course Marseille will not waste this opportunity to add 3 points to the standings and continue to stick to PSG's position at the top. The opportunity for Marseille to win Ligue 1 this season is still open and PSG should be more careful so that Marseille does not shift its position.
I would guess that being out of UCL means even more focus on the league and PSG will probably play a lot better in the coming games. I am not saying that it is going to be easy for them or anything, but they should be able to get it fine enough.

They have such great players at the front that sometimes the problems at the midfield do not even matter. They tried to get some players before for the midfield but they are failing to do that direly, their defense is good, goalkeeping is good, offense is good, only thing that is lacking is a good midfield and I think they are not going to be able to fix that now anyway, so they will want to focus winning with this roster.
1234  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: March 30, 2023, 03:35:40 PM
Real Madrid don't mind much about Coppa del Rey but because their next opponent is Barcelona, they will try to beat Barcelona even Coppa del Rey is not their priority. It is kind of request from their club pride and they feel being beaten by Barcelona is something too bad and unacceptable in any condition.
Pay attention to Real Madrid friends of Barcelona. Don't underestimate the bear sleeping or pretending to sleep.
Above all, Real Madrid are distracted from the Champions League, so it's easy to understand that they are focused on that. But he could turn around and think about something else.
I would guess that Real would not really care about the cup as well, that is not something proud to own, both teams won it many times over and the only thing that would make it feel better is beating Barcelona and that would be a good revenge on the fact that they lost the title of the league to Barcelona and they may want to get the cup at least from them, not to just win it for winning sake, but more about beating Barcelona and that will always feel better.

I think it is going to be hard though, Barcelona is doing very well right now and they may win this and Real is focused too much on the UCL and they do not psychologically care about this one, not at all.
1235  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: March 29, 2023, 05:39:45 PM
Schalke has improved in recent games and they have not lost a game in the last 7 games. However, they have only won the games against their direct opponents in the fight against relegation (Stuttgart and Bochum). In this game against Leverkusen, Schalke will mainly concentrate on defending.
Leverkusen has played very well in the Bundesliga but also international. The victory against Bayern Munich gives them a lot of confidence.
I think Leverkusen will win this game.
The last game they lost was about 8-9 games ago, and they are doing very well right now. I am not expecting them to keep this unbeaten streak going for a long time, but if they keep the games going like this, even 1-2 losses wouldn't matter, they may stay away from regulation eventually. They were so so so terrible at the start that they are still not out of relegation zone right now, and when the time comes, they are going to be out of it, in a few weeks if they keep this up, but that will take some pressure.

It is not easy to be a bad team that is getting better, it is easy to be bad or good or even a good team playing bad could become better again, but being bad and getting better after being bad so long is hard.
1236  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can old trading strategies work again? on: March 28, 2023, 08:40:03 PM
I think a new strategy is new thinking from the results of old strategic thinking that is raised to adjust to the new current situation. So there is a big relationship between the old strategy and the new strategy. We can't separate that relationship. Basically what I think the strategy is the same hasn't changed much from when I started trading in 2015. So I continued to use old techniques combined on new styles. Indeed, market conditions have changed, but the cycle of trust in coins and bitcoin is still the same.
Besides many strategies are very similar at their core, while you may use a set of different indicators they are all calculated from the very same data, they are just trying to measure something different and as such the data receives different treatment to make that aspect of the market more obvious, this is why a talented trader can earn money in almost any market condition while using any indicator, as once they discover once how to do it they can create hundreds of different strategies to accomplish the same thing.
That is the point of trading, to find that one truth, and while you may want to use different ways to find it, the real truth is just a single one and nothing else would ever be the result. If you know what you are doing, no matter how much fundamental analysis you do, no matter how much technical analysis you do, no matter what indicators you use, it will always be one single result if you are right, all of them will show the same thing.

Because there is one truth, if it will go up, then it should show it will go up, obviously some shocking news could change that in a minute, but unless that happens it should be as obvious as it gets most of the time.
1237  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: March 28, 2023, 07:26:16 PM
And I believe that Juventus will continue to do very well in the remaining matches of the season. because Juventus' current performance is actually above Milan, Inter and Lazio. we can see the proof in their winnings this season, namely 17 wins, 5 draws and only five defeats from a total of 27 matches.

the number of wins that Juventus have in Serie A is in second place. while the sequence with the first most wins is certainly Napoli with 23 wins.

Even if only Juventus did not get a point deduction sanction. so currently Juventus will be ranked 2nd.
That is true and they will continue to be great but there is no guarantee that they will win all their games. I think it is important to also remember that Milan and Inter has been not so great recently and that doesn't mean that they will continue to be bad neither, maybe that was then and it's over now and they are going to be better soon? Maybe those teams will end up beating everyone else as well.

We do not know that and I believe that Juventus, even if they end up winning most of their games, or even all of their games, could still end up not inside the top four because the top teams may end up winning their games as well, which would make Juventus fifth instead.
1238  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: March 28, 2023, 06:44:10 PM
Napoli have shown good form, good performances and determination but I think it is still early to rank them as favourites, maybe if they can win their way to the semi finals then I can agree and rate them as favourites because until now I still have a bit of doubt they can win it this year.
Napoli and AC Milan come from the Italian league, of course these two clubs understand each other's style of play. In Serie A, of course, Napoli is superior to AC Milan. But in the UCL, Napoli doesn't have any records at all, unlike AC Milan. Personally I hope that Napoli can win the match, so that they can advance to the semi-finals even though getting the UCL title is very difficult to obtain.
It is not going to be as easy as the league, but looking at how Milan is doing at the league and looking at how Napoli has been doing the league, they know how they play, and they are aware of each other a lot, but Napoli should be easily winning this match up if all goes according to the plan.

Obviously this is football and we have seen plenty of times worse teams beating bigger teams, and Napoli could lose but I feel like that is not this year. I feel like there is a serious chance that Napoli will be in the finals and since finals are just a single game as well, they may play unexpectedly well this season and even win the whole thing, they look that good.
1239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens when new altcoins encourage religious, political and other agendas? on: March 28, 2023, 03:51:05 PM
I am a non-religious person but I have studied some of the major world religions, and I realize that the earth is our common home but we are dividing it and keeping it apart. In the context of an increasingly developed society, perhaps hidden information and knowledge will gradually be exposed. And society will have changes and there will be things in common to bring people together, I have researched about Buddha Dharma and I see some philosophies that uphold truth and equality among all births are upheld. And I firmly believe that if anyone can see and understand that, to apply it, the competition will gradually disappear, and we will build a cleaner planet in all aspects.
It seems that you are only looking at it from a religious point of view. I do not care if you are religious or not and also do not need a detailed explanation of the religion you are studying. The context that we are discussing this time is the relationship between religion and the economy, not just about religion. I just want to hear opinions on what the relationship between the two is.
I would guess that some religions do have economical rules about it as well. For example interest is not allowed in Islam, they do not allow that at all, it's against the rules of the religion. Obviously they are not going to just not take interest, that would be a stupid thing to do, so they "rebranded" it as "profit sharing" instead of interest, and they are still taking interest.

It's a way of following the rules of Islam by using a different name for the same thing basically, it makes them feel better about it and like they are not committing any sin. So, some religions do have some economical rules and that is why it could be very important difference for some people.
1240  Economy / Gambling / Re: PVP Games Lounge launching soon on: March 27, 2023, 05:08:28 PM
I just checked the profile of OP and it seems that the last post he made about this oncoming lounge was back in February 2th, so it has been over a month since we heard from OP.

I would have assumed we would look some advance or a beta version by now... in the meantime, other web 3.0 casinos have appeared around here, If I was OP I would try to be more appealing to his potential gamblers and show anything at this point; ideas recommendations and wishes of success mean nothing if there is no product to test.
The OP didn't mention if the gambling site that he will be releasing is a web 3.0 or not but if they have a Defi token then web 3.0 will be perfect. Web 3.0 casinos aren't really new so don't worry if there are others who came out first than the OP. Time of release doesn't really matter but what matters the most is if the casino is already fully finished and has less bugs or glitches because many casino owners here are just rushing and ended up forgetting some things on their casino.

It only gives a bad impression to the visitors. Ideas and others that you said there can still be relevant as the OP can still read this thread without logging into his account and he might be developing the casino in the background.
