1241  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: fellas be careful from this kind of scams! - READ on: March 27, 2023, 01:10:03 PM
Maybe I want to add here, if we are really curious, then we can use a new wallet to connect our wallet. Just as many have said, never connect our main wallet anywhere, especially if it is a site that is foreign to us. I think we are not just 1 or 2 people who lost money in the same way, so we must not fall into the same hole.
Even the optional wallet also never connect with scam sites, I think don't give opportunity for scammers to hack your wallet because one day you may forget that the wallet is already connected with the scammer's site and he has a way to empty your wallet, if you already know scam sites, so just ignore them and never be curious about the scam bonuses that are advertised.
If it's only an optional wallet, we must delete it right away because there are occasions that we can forget it and re-use it (happened to me before) but I am lucky that I didn't interact with any DEX or WEB3.0 sites so my funds are still safe and sound. When we create a wallet, I think there is also an option to rename it.

We can rename the wallet as optional, alternative or something like that so that we won't ended up using them immediately if the transactions that we will be making are serious and requires a huge amount of money. There's no point checking the scam sites but there are people who are curious. Just let them visit it and show us how it looks like in order for us to be safe.
1242  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: March 26, 2023, 09:26:24 PM
The grounds of ejecting Trae is something that the review should be done, they can give technical foul, but throwing him away from the game will impacted to the whole game of his team.

He's the main alpha, the primary offensive player for the team throwing him out will have a big impact on the performance
of the whole squad. Luckily that they've won the game for sure if they lose it, today lots of gamblers will be pissed because
of that action from the ref.
I still haven't seen the "power" of the ball that was thrown, like I have seen westbrook mistakenly send it to a refs head and get technical as well, so we know it happens and it has happened before and that is understandable. However, refs are getting worse while players are getting worse as well.

I believe this; players are foul chasing more than ever in history, which is terrible for the game, we either see people scoring, or they miss, or they are fouled, back in the day we saw people defending these, we do not see so much of defense anymore, it's just hit or miss or foul, that's it, no blocks like the old days, no steals like old days, mostly interceptions not real steals, not as many as we used to have at least.

This is what players are looking for and angry at refs and they are wrong. What refs are wrong for is the calls, the footballs VAR system needs to be here as well, and refs needs to look at their wrong decisions and overturn them easily, because right now they have come as far as causing teams to lose games because of wrong calls, that is terrible.
1243  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: March 26, 2023, 08:22:28 PM
Having the talented players, and even the financial power of the club doesn’t not guarantee trophies. A team looking to win trophies need to have that winning mentality and determination to go against all odds to achieve their desired goal for the season. That has been the spirit of Real Madrid in all the years they got the trophies they have to their name. I think I saw the same mentality when Chelsea won the Champions league with Tuchel, the squad wasn't even star studded. To be honest I’d be scared if I was a Chelsea fan.
No, Real Madrid has been buying anybody they wanted since I have known the club, the keep spending money in the market get talents from all over the world and that's why they have been this successful not the mentality that you're talking about. We only noticed the mentality in their road to the finals last season since they perform comebacks after come backs to win the games and even though Chelsea was winning them at their own home stadium, they still performed a comeback although weren't able to win the match but they progress to the next stage if the tournament.

Chelsea can only be scared of Real Madrid when we have injuries problem. Already there are rumors of Reece James going on another injury break and might possibly miss the clash. Only news like this are what I'm afraid off and not playing Real Madrid, didn't Kante own them in both legs? Winning man of the match when he was fit. If we have all our players on fit and on form then why should we be afraid of Real Madrid. Infact they should abe scared because if we destroy their dream of another champions league title then they got nothing to fight for since Barcelona is lifting the la Liga trophy this season.
I do not think so. I mean sure they have spent a lot of money on players all the time, but that doesn't mean that they got "everyone" they wanted. Just the biggest example I can think of would be Mbappe, it is because that happened very recently and that means dude wasn't interested, or even if he was, he was offered so much more money that it was really crazy for him to even consider that as an option.

So long story short there is a bit of a trouble where we are talking about Mbappe wasn't bought by Real and they couldn't get "anyone" they want. This probably happened before as well, some players just stay at their club but they did buy most players they wanted, and that's a plus for sure.
1244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to accept crypto payments? on: March 26, 2023, 07:49:43 PM
I am wondering what are the ways to accept crypto payments in an online business. Should I share my wallet address and ask clients to send payments to it? Isn't it troublesome? Payments could be sent to the wrong wallet address and also it would be difficult to manage the transaction history. What should I do?
Maybe you can make a payment method by scanning a QR, so that buyers don't need to copy the wallet address. If you understand how to create a website by connecting Metamask or Trust wallet. It would be nice if you use this method, so that payments will be automatically transferred to the wallet connection to Metamask. You can see this method through the NFT sales method on opensea.
Yes, this is one of the easiest ways and is already suggested above by some members. Even a non-crypto payment method works like this. Copying a wallet address and then pasting them only to pay seems a bit hassle and some things can go wrong if we are not checking things carefully which can result for a loss of money.

Creating a business website can be tough for someone who doesn't have a skill with it but they can always hire people to do the job for them. Web3 seems innovative but I prefer the classic one as I think it's much safer because we are not connecting our main wallet and I don't think a lot of us have the time to create another wallet and send some coins there only to make a transaction.
1245  Economy / Economics / Re: Sanctions at work:Russia posts its second highest deficit in the post-Soviet era on: March 26, 2023, 07:03:15 PM
Not really shocking to be fair, we are talking about nearly all of the world, and mainly richest nations in the world, all stop working with Russia as much as they can. Some still have to work together, because of things they had in place beforehand, but almost no money goes into Russia aside from few nations.

This will of course cause a lot of trouble for them and I believe that if the war goes on a bit longer, they are going to be even worse than the Soviet era as well. I am not saying Mao, let them starve to death levels of bad management, but it is getting there, its going to be worse than Argentina or Venezuela if this goes on for another year or two.
1246  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers on: March 25, 2023, 09:04:09 PM
~snip
In general, both France and Belgium easily beat the Netherlands and Sweden, as if they played not with the top teams, but with Malta or Luxembourg.
this is true
expected much more from Netherlands, although Gakpo was not there, and that looked as it would be an easier win for France
Belgium had Lukaku last night, and he smashed Sweden with three goals, didn't expect that as well

but all in all, Sweden and Netherlands looked more like Malta, than France/Belgium as top teams
I think it is more about how good France become, they found a golden generation and almost in every position they have star level of players, the roster they have could be one of the most expensive ever assembled in history, of course this is mainly due to inflation since Brazil also had some pretty great teams back in the day, but this is one of those times when there is a huge generation that should win a lot during their time and then they will retire one after the other.

We are lucky that it's early days of it, they are young now, we should be seeing at least 2 more world cups with this squad and they will be doing great in euro in between those periods as well.
1247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens when new altcoins encourage religious, political and other agendas? on: March 25, 2023, 07:29:40 PM
I stumbled upon this thread on Twitter talking about the emergence of islamiccoin. In the history of altcoins, I wonder who would try to create a religious coin and with what motive?
What happens when other religions and political offices and even other sections of power launch their own coins?
I know most already exist, is this move more to empower followers of such beliefs with a future proof and profitable financial instrument and should be encouraged or will this cause an even further divide with evolutionary complications?
Uganda is one of the nations who has embraced this development and is championing the cause to help their Muslim community redefine themselves through entrepreneurship and investment in both cryptocurrency.
It's just another hype attempt, a buzzword attempt and nothing more. Just like how people used "NFT" for a while to get the attention of investors and that is why it becomes a bit more like hyped and gets money. Same was for defi, or memes or anything else really, it was just buzzword and people invested because those things were hyped during that time.

However, when you look at this, it's Islam, or political stuff, or whatever else, those are all hype words for crypto devs as well, "if 3% of Islam world invests", is that it? Like what's the idea behind it though, why would the Islam world invest into it? What's the reason that would make them even invest? Just because it would be big if they do, then they should? Makes no sense.
1248  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: March 25, 2023, 07:02:45 PM
The problem of Liverpool is still within the club itself, I guess their morale is low, nothing else. There might be a little adjustment needed though and Klopp is certainly doing a brilliant job as far as I know. They've improved noticeably in the EPL, and for them to have reached this stage with the UCL means that they tried with their poor performance this season.

There is room for improvement, so let us give them more benefits of the doubt between now and next season as this season is almost over. And I hope they make the champions league qualifier.
Klopp will do that adjustment when the time comes. Right now it is the near end of the season and if he does anything then he would put the team at risk. So he waits and tries to give morale and help everyone be the best version of themselves and that's understandable.

However, these losses do mean a lot, and they need to keep winning, they are 2 games behind Spurs, so if they win both of them that means 6 more points and that's just one point behind Spurs, and they are 5 points behind Newcastle, these are all goals they may achieve if they play right, or next season will suck for them, first time ever out of UCL in so long. I hope they really do go there, it will be great for them, otherwise next year even if they fix everything and fight for the league title, they will be unhappy about being out of UCL.
1249  Economy / Speculation / Re: will bitcoin continue to rise on: March 25, 2023, 08:26:53 AM
There is still an opportunity to see prices continue to increase in March, many analysts believe that the increase will continue and this year can reach a new ATH record, of course there are many things that must be maintained, namely there are no more fraud cases that involve top exchanges such as FTX.
I don't think it's possible for we to reach a new all time high this year, the year is very positive but that positivity alone can't take us to the previous high and reaching a new all time high isn't an option. In the history of Bitcoin price movement, crossing the previous all time high has always occur after the next block halving of Bitcoin which is still months ahead.

Bitcoin was on its way to $30k, and I was thinking we'll see that before any pour back occurs but the market has been reacting negatively even since the FED announcement their new increase rate. Now we have to wait on a recovery or a continuous pull back to $25k.
I think the bad news caused it to have a small break but it's like a hiccup, it will pass and we will go back to growing bigger soon. I know that it is not going to be something that we can be proud of, and it is not something to be happy about, but at the same time I feel joyful that the drop happened.

Because the drop provided proof that even if we fall, we do not fall too much and we just drop a small bit and will go back up again very soon. This is why I feel very hopeful about it as well. This basically means that we won't be dropping any further and we will be going up again, I think 30k+ is not too far away, in a few weeks that may happen, and we should be ready for it.
1250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What could have happened to all meme coins on: March 23, 2023, 09:16:39 PM
Dogecoin have been stayed on top 10 coins before Elon Musk joined cryptocurrency world, so either Elon Musk support meme coin or not, meme coin is always a meme coin. At the end all of them will become a dead coin, it's just used to make quick profit by taking advantage over pump and dump. So if you're looking to invest for long term prospect, you're better to stick with Bitcoin.
Are you entirely sure about that? I can promise you that back in 2015 it was definitely a top 10 one because there weren't really that many which was great. But if you read this article you will see the truth; https://cointelegraph.com/news/dogecoin-ranks-among-top-10-crypto-assets-for-first-time-since-2015.

As you can see it is top ten ranked in 2021 and it hasn't been in top 10 from 2015 to 2021, which is 6 years. Hmmm, what has happened in 2021 that made it go up that way? of course Elon did. So if you ever question that Elon wasn't the reason why it went up, just reopen this article and ask yourself is that true or not and stop convincing yourself that its anything else.
1251  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: March 23, 2023, 05:46:15 PM
Arsenal's team was more stable and stronger than Juventus's. However, they lost against Sporting's match tactics. I wouldn't say that Sporting performed too well against Arsenal. Arsenal performed well in both matches but failed to qualify for the next round. There is no reason to think that Juventus will easily win against Sporting. The first leg is Juventus' home match. If Juventus don't win at home, I don't think they will qualify for the semi-finals. Juventus must win the first leg.
Arsenal is better than Juventus and yet they still lost but that doesn't mean that Arsenal played the way they normally play. Look at how they play during the league games and look at how they played against Lisbon, the two teams you will see are very different.

While they were amazing at the league games, they were not that great against Lisbon and that is why I do not think that there is a reason why there should be any doubt in mind about Juventus winning. Basically all I am saying is that Arsenal at the league is better than Juventus but the Arsenal at europa cup was worse than Juventus and that type of difference is why Juventus will win.
1252  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Everton Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: March 23, 2023, 07:28:33 AM
The criminals behind Stake are not willing to withdraw from their scams towards me!

Looks like they believe they are untouchable!
Can you please be more straightforward my friend, and explain what your problem is, if you have any so that you can be helped by any of Stake's representatives here present on the forum. Or moreover issue a scam accusation on the right sub-board of the forum, where it will be investigated, and if you are proven to be innocent, and not have violated any of stake casino's terms and conditions, I'm sure you will be grant full access to your withdrawer in full, rather than just making a generalized statement
There is absolutely nothing to talk and have a logical talk with these kinds of people. I am not saying that Stake has never caused any issues for any people.

It's a vast casino with tens of thousands of players on it and sometimes things can go wrong and if you prove the support staff that there is a misunderstanding and you need to get their help to put it back in the place, they will help you, or even if it that doesn't happen then you can have proof that you did nothing wrong and open a scam accusation here with the proof. However, if you come here and say "they are criminals!" and leave, how could anyone have a discussion with that type of person?
1253  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price is looking positive green on: March 22, 2023, 08:43:23 PM
Sometimes I came think is the cause of nature for world to truly knows the benefits of bitcoin, that is more trusted and reliable more than bank. If all these waves in banking sector passes by then they will learn a great lesson of not entrusting their resources to a centralized and a commercial banks were they may not be in control of their assets.
Now after this unbearable incident which resulted in a total failure (fiasco) investors would learned to rather have control over their assets than banks.
I do agree that banks are a trouble and people should move to crypto instead of keeping their money in the banks and this should have given them that lesson. However, we should realize that fiat is the real reason why banks are like this.

Fiat is a crooked system that will never be great and it will change and it will not be the same thing and I believe that we shouldn't really end up with this, as long as fiat is fiat there won't be any banks standing in the future, new ones will replace the old ones but the current ones will all be bankrupted eventually because the system is terrible. Crypto on the other hand is amazing and that is why it will never be bankrupted for good, could go down, but will always recover.
1254  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which of your friends and relatives deals with bitcoin? on: March 22, 2023, 08:03:29 PM
If the problem of Bitcoin many of my relatives already know about Bitcoin but they do not know how to use Bitcoin and only know its value is very fantastic, but I want to explore Bitcoin since I first heard about the crypto world and I am interested and until now have invested in Bitcoin and other altcoins that do have potential, And there are some of my relatives who are currently following in my footsteps and whatever I know about Bitcoin I will tell them, and right now they are starting to be interested in investing in Bitcoin.
It is true that people who are not even in the crypto market end up being interested in the price or at least follow up what's going on and that matters. Because even if they do not own any, they at least know the price and if it is going up or down.

Like my father has never owned a single cent of bitcoin ever in his life, but he follows it and knows what the price is all about. That allows us to actually talk about it, and he can talk about it with others. This spreads the knowledge of bitcoin and even the interest for it as well, people who never owned any could speak about it and could put some seeds in the minds of others who never owned any as well.
1255  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: March 22, 2023, 06:03:00 PM
Newcastle has a great chance of occupying the top four by winning at least 1 match out of the 2 postponed matches.
The distance of 2 points from Tottenham must be used to trigger more motivation so that their mission this season is actually achieved. I was surprised, of course because Newcastle didn't really expect to be in the top four compared to Chelsea or Liverpool at the start of the season.

Now the expectations are very good, so Newcastle must seize the moment to move Tottenham from the top 4. Newcastle have 12 match left compared to Tottenham's 10 so I think Newcastle's chances are good so far.
Newcastle HAS TO win those games, they have spent so much money and they want to be in UCL so that they could get even more players.

They have a super rich owner now and that owner is spending money left and right to make the team better and last year before the take over this team was about the relegate, now they are fighting for a top four, and in order to keep this momentum going they need to finish the league in top four, and then during the summer they will pay some big names to get there as well, due to UCL fact they could end up convincing good players to play for them as well. When you pay someone 20-30 million a year, it's not hard to convince them but UCL would be added bonus.
1256  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: March 21, 2023, 08:20:59 PM
I can't believe how well the Jazz played. They beat the Kings, who are a good team. This team is so underrated. I believe it's their system that makes them better, because even without their best players, they can still win a game, and the team they beat is one of the best this season.
This is the same team who will gonna jeopardize the chance of the top 9 and 10 if they are gonna win most of their games because they are not too far to include from the play-in tournament. with this win, they even get to the number 10 spot and send the Lakers behind them, if the Lakers will continue to struggle, then their chance to push their way to the NBA playoffs will be no more and the Jazz will have the chance to gamble their way to the playoffs. with this kind of scenario, I'm sure it will not be easy for rank numbers 7 and 8 to get to the playoffs if ever the Utah Jazz is included in the play-in tournament.
It is such a weird situation because they got rid of Mitchell and Gobert to start rebuilding this year, they didn't want to have any good players and they wanted to have less than 20 wins so that they could end up with a good draft pick.

This was their goal at the start of the season. Look at them now, they are playing in a way that they are losing plenty of time and that doesn't make sense to me because if they end up playing like this, they won't get a good draft pick and that makes no sense, why not get a good pick if your entire plan was to rebuild. In any case, they are not spending much and playoff means profit so that's not bad for them on the long run neither.

In retrospect, it does not seem like the high APY for FUN savings plus premium benefits on top of that was sustainable so like other yield generating crypto investments they needed to make adjustments.
25% fixed APY rate is indeed costly. They are also giving the BTC APY from their own pocket. At first they were using the mining service to pay the BTC interest to their users. But they have discontinued it a long time ago. Now they are giving all the benefits from their own pocket. It is reasonable to adjust those numbers to reduce their costs.
The thing is that they should be doing it as long as it brings in enough money to justify it, if not then they could just lower the number or even discontinue that as well. If the interest rate on btc or fun is the cause of so many people that put their money in here and make the casino some money then that is a good decision and they should do it, offer even more if they will profit more, it all depends if they profit or not. If they do not profit and lose money then it doesn't make any sense at all to keep giving people free money because there is no business sense in it at all.

This is only known by wetsuit and probably thequin, if they see it as a good thing they will keep it as it is, if they see it as a useless thing that doesn't make sense anymore then they will stop doing it whenever they want to.
1258  Economy / Economics / Re: Scarcity of money on: March 21, 2023, 04:25:59 AM
If overprinting happens, inflation ensues and the value of a single dollar depreciates, which causes it to not be as valuable as it was back then.
So countries control the amount of currency they own to ensure that it remains valuable.
I would guess that the way it is distributed is the main problem if you ask me. I get that if you print a lot then it is a problem, but if you print it and then give it to rich people and not give much to poor people then it is even bigger of a problem. Just this past pandemic period, we have seen companies get trillions while 400+ million people also get trillions.

If you ask me give them all to people and let them shop, which eventually will go in the hands of the rich people anyway. It is not the humans we need to worry about, even the richest person is rich because their company is rich, so we need to rethink how we approach to big companies and their profits, not the rich vs poor argument. It is not us vs Elon, it is us vs tesla, or not us vs Jeff, it is us vs amazon.

It would be better if Real Madrid took a striker other than Lukaku. Lukaku has failed to perform well in recent seasons and it would be a big risk if Real Madrid signed him. I agree more if Real Madrid takes a young player to replace Benzema. Benzema will remain in the team until next season, so it is an opportunity for them to find young players. So far Benzema has been reliable, so they still have time.
I agree with you, Romelu Lukaku is not an ideal player for Real Madrid he did not record a good appearance in the last 2 seasons even including the burden of the club
I personally think Lukaku is still under Benzema based on quality so it is not appropriate as a substitute for Benzema,  there are still many other players who are more appropriate like Mohammed Kudus, this player is rumored to be the target of Manchester United and reportedly Real Madrid is also interested in contracting him. Usually if the choice between Manchester United and Madrid, players will prefer go to Madrid.
Benzema may not show himself as a great player this season that's true but it has been just one season since he won the biggest award, so lets give him a chance of course and asking Lukaku to be better than him would be a big ask. I think they need to just focus on someone much younger, I know they couldn't get Mbappe or Haaland, but someone around those ages would be fine.

If nothing else, they should go for Osimhen, he proved himself this year as a great scorer and he is not that old neither so he would be the future of the club given the chance. They have managed to build teams that are great, so I trust them to do it again for next season as well.

While laliga champion pretty much is determined the competition for the top spots is still ongoing, atletico madrid are on fire recently they have beaten valencia easily in the last round and they closed the gap between them and real madrid to five points after their loss against barcelona it seems that real madrid second spot is not safe after all.
I wouldn't really say it's "guaranteed" which it isn't mathematically but I get what you are saying, it would be pretty much near impossible for Barcelona to lose this title without a doubt. Secondly I think the ranking that people care about usually is the top two and Barcelona along with Real already covered that off and doubt that it would change, so the rest doesn't really get that much attention.

I wouldn't really bet on La Liga from here on out too much because since most teams already established positions give or take, all the results could be a bit more wild these days, some teams won't even care about winning anymore and that's trouble for betting.
