481  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Lomachenko vs. Teofimo Lopez Lightweight Unification fight on: July 18, 2020, 09:43:31 AM
Honestly, I can't decide on which side I'll choose. Yeah! Loma would be the people's choice for sure but Lopez should not be underestimated.

Hmm.. Maybe I'll go with Lopez. I want to see his signature move, his somersault lol Cheesy.

you have already decided, lol.. .

Lopez is also a great fighter, so betting on him is not a bad decision, in addition, the most attractive one is you'll be getting a good odds since he is the underdog of the fight. Loma vs Lopez could be the biggest fight this year, so let's not miss this fight.
Oops, I was carried away Tongue. I am not aware that I already made a choice. D*mn that somersault lol.

But you're right in all fairness, betting on him is not a bad idea either. He is bigger and has a longer reach thus getting a greater chance of winning.
482  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Lomachenko vs. Teofimo Lopez Lightweight Unification fight on: July 18, 2020, 04:40:45 AM
The wait is over! One of the most exciting match could ever happen is now on its countdown Shocked (I'm looking forward to this match long time ago already). I admire both Teofimo and Lomachenko because they are good in their own way. Lomachenko got the speed and agility while Lopez got the aggressiveness. Honestly, I can't decide on which side I'll choose. Yeah! Loma would be the people's choice for sure but Lopez should not be underestimated.

Hmm.. Maybe I'll go with Lopez. I want to see his signature move, his somersault lol Cheesy.
483  Economy / Economics / Re: Maintaining safety measures after pandemic for human -economical- resources on: July 18, 2020, 01:31:51 AM
Maintaining safety measures even right after this pandemic would really be a great help just to make assurance that our safety and immunization will not be compromised to keep ourselves healthy away from the threat of other viruses in our surrounding.
Indeed. But you know that before this pandemic happened, I do believe that humans can build their own immune system by having little exposure to something that harms us. That's why whenever I get cough, cold or fever I do not drink paracetamol as much as possible. I choose to ignore it the whole day as long as I can tolerate the pain. I hydrate myself and rest, giving my body to counter the virus on its own Cheesy

Well, I still do believe the same thing until now but I admit that I'm scared doing that way again because the current pandemic is not caused by a simple virus. It's lethal that's, it seems that the diseases are evolving faster than our medical technology. It's very alarming that's why I'm encouraged to strictly follow safety measures, take multivitamins and use alcohols which I am not used to before — I'm now more willing to help my body immunity rather than letting it to work on its own. I become more health conscious because of this pandemic and everyone should too.
484  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Help please on: July 17, 2020, 02:37:49 PM
Do you treat crypto investing as your last resort? If not then don't do it because we all aware of the uncertainties present here. Plus, the mere fact that you only got small capital means you most probably get small return as well. I'm just concern that maybe it will be not worth of your time.

Do you know painting, making portraits or good at video/photo editing? Such talents could give you good commission without losing any money. So if I were you, I will have a break and try to shift into other fields because what I feel in your current situation is that you can't afford to lose even a single cent. So instead of investing, try to offer your services and pray that bunch of clients will come in no time. God bless Smiley.
485  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Jeff Horn vs. Tim Tszyu on: July 17, 2020, 09:59:47 AM
Tszyu is really on the disadvantage side when it comes to experience but the kid got a good record tho. He had a 15W 0L record 73.33% KO rate, he seems more accurate than Horn thus he should be very careful Cheesy.

With regards to the "dirty" tactics' of Horn, I think it won't affect to Tszyu this time because they almost got the same height (unlike to smaller Pacquiao). It is hard to dirty box with an opponent which is as massive as you.

Kostya Tszyu who gave the infamous Zab Judah that "stanky leg dance" here,
Oh yes! I now remember him. He's the man behind on one of the best chicken dance in the history Grin lmao.
486  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt coins worth buying on: July 17, 2020, 05:38:12 AM
I've been reading through this forums for the past few weeks and all I see is "this coin is dead" or "everything is a shit coin". Is there any alt coin with potential to invest in or is it only bitcoin?
Hahaha did you find that most of the members here are harsh to alts, isn't it? Well, that's because they have a good point so get used to it lol. Almost all of the sprouting coins nowadays are trash ~ change my mind. So if I were you, I'll stick with the King so that yoi can feel safer Smiley.

Going on the main question, I think the alts which are worth of your penny would be the old ones like Binance Coin, EOS, Monero, Bitcoin Cash etc. Good luck!
487  Other / Meta / Re: When their topic is moved to Off-topic on: July 17, 2020, 04:09:45 AM
-Because the off-topic board belongs to the not counted post count to those members who wear signature paid.

-The off-topic board is full of spam they dont, no one will visit there.

I don't visit Off topic section mainly because it is not counted as paid posts (I'm pretty sure the others got the same reason), I'm not gonna lie about that Grin.  Doing it will just compromise my daily post quota so I totally refuse.

But aside from that, I don't want to go there also because of the "WTH Questions" like this one. I'd rather post on Serious Discussion than spending 10 to 15 min. of my time engaging with not so interesting topics there.
488  Economy / Economics / Re: Interesting perspective of Investors on: July 17, 2020, 01:25:27 AM
Now I even more realized that the crypto sphere is dominated by long term hodlers lol Cheesy. Actually even without looking at the Twitter poll Peter Schiff made, it makes sense, isn't it? It is logical to make such conclusions because many people are still not well rounded when it comes to daytrading and some just don't have the guts to do so.

But in my opinion, holding for the rest of your life is not as good as you think. Imagine all the opportunities you might miss on that long timeframe. I hope those 60% of almost 26,000 respondents of that poll change their mind along their way. It's very unproductive to just let your money sleeping inside your wallet, play it with safety. If you lose then so be it. Don't be too scared of losing because it's normal. What's not acceptable is when you lose but never try again.
489  Economy / Economics / Re: Do Not Pray for an Economic Crisis! on: July 16, 2020, 01:41:04 PM
And who the hell would pray for a crisis in the first place? That's so unbelievable  Undecided!

We realized that if there is an Economic Crisis and people lose their jobs, people will buy coins to put food on the table. They will not think about investing but will have enough money to save.
What I think is that investing in cryptocurrency (most especially to bitcoin) serve as the safe haven of most people right now. The pandemic pushed us to avoid going outside and do our usual business. But of course as a simple man having a simple need, you should still continue living whatever happen so here's where crypto enters. They choose to gamble some part of their money and hope it will grow. I think they treat it as one of the best options they could have aside from online selling.

That's the reason why the market remains lively despite of the bad situation happening on the outside world.
490  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Next bitcoin memorable dates on: July 16, 2020, 06:27:32 AM
2021 - Bitcoin reaches a new All Time High of more than 20k USD
Just like what others said, you cannot predict the future price dude. If you are really serious about this then much better to stop it because other investors (especially emotional beginners) might be carried away and start now to sell what they had right now and hoard btc. Well, there's nothing wrong with investing. I'm just concern for them to believe on such "false" hope.
2100 - History begins...
The previous years you mentioned aren't part of the history Grin? Kidding aside, I think 2100 is not the start, the past history will just continue until 2140 or more. Unless people lose their interest after all bitcoins finally mined.
491  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: BINANCE,GEMINI,CZ,COINBASE TWITTER IS HACKED!! on: July 16, 2020, 03:00:34 AM
Read the official statement of Twitter few hours ago.
https://twitter.com/TwitterSupport/status/1283518038445223936

So most probably those malicious tweets, not only of Elon's but also from the other affected accounts, are deleted already. We can now relax, but I hope this will not happen ever again because not only their reputations are ruined. Of course, the most affected here are the stupid (people who can be deceived easily) investors Sad
492  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Twitter Hack Alert - Don't trust it now! on: July 15, 2020, 09:56:30 PM
The moment I saw Elon Musk's twit, I knew there's something wrong already. Simple explanation, yeah it's not hard to believe that he can double the money you will give but why there's a sudden show of interest to btc Grin? Where in the first place he doesn't even show a strong support to it before.

But oh boy! This is quite alarming because they are not just a common Twitter accounts, they are popular and can be effectively use for scamming. I hope the authority will act fast since not everyone of us are aware of this news.
493  Economy / Economics / Re: Biggest winner during COVID? on: July 15, 2020, 08:22:01 AM
Maybe, the true biggest winner here during Covid-19 are those tax collectors.

Let's say that they are just doing their job to help the economy become stable and grow, but where is the humanity? They are still charging taxes from small business and even those online sellers, they are planning to get taxes from them.
Like what you've said, tax collectors are only doing their job. All the taxes they gathered are not going inside their own pockets dude but to the fund of government. So if you really hate such thing then you should get mad on the government of your country, not to the collectors.

But going back to the main issue, here in our country, I also heard rumors about putting tax on the online sellers (What a coincidence, isn't it?) and even for those people who just barter trade (like wtf). Yeah! Very cruel if you would think but you know what I understand them somwehow. We should face the fact that the funds of our government is now depleting drastically, and take note, with only small amount entering in return. That's why we may think that they are now too desperate and doing crazy things just to earn funds faster.

So in this issue, I'll go neutral. Both side got good points. But I hope they can still think of better alternatives so that small people won't suffer further Sad.
494  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Philippines SEC warns against crypto investment. on: July 15, 2020, 03:16:13 AM
then for sure they would really be ending up on being a victim of any scams out there not only limited to crypto  but also on traditional way of things.

People should learn up much on how these scams work and dont let themselves to fall due to their greed.
And with scammers sweet talk, anyone can really fall for this trick. But at least the government is giving the warning before it is too late, so nothing is wrong with that.
Yes! The government already did their part but please, for God's sake, I hope those people who got scammed multiple times before finally learned their lesson and hoping they at least familiarize how pyramiding scam works (since it is the most common existing in our country). Actually, I'm scared that our government will come to the point of passing a law prohibiting any kind of crypto investment on our country since many of our countrymen still got victimized despite of their never ending warnings tsk Undecided. If ever happened (I hope never would) then expect that our small community will vanish in a glimpse unless you are willing to face the punishment lol.

So please guys, especially the beginners, don't be hasty in earning because most of the time it leads you on making wrong decisions. So study first and plan your move.
495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LTC out of top 10 coins on: July 14, 2020, 12:07:53 PM
I don't see LTC losing out of top 10 position. Irrespective of what is happening now, I believe so much in LTC. I have the feelings that LTC will surge very high when it is time, it might even go beyond our expectation. We can only wait to see what will eventually happened
Think twice mate. Look at the graph and you will realize how its graph portray a bad performance compared the other coins. Based on CMC, it was in the 8th spot not 10th. But I think that's not the point here, the point is it seems that LTC is now losing its hype. BNB coin's market cap is now having a $2.83B super close to LTC's $2.84B (and Chainlink got $2.61) that's why I will not be surprised if we wake up one day and see that LTC rank down to 10th place or farther. Nevertheless, I do believe that it was still a good coin for investing Smiley.
496  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Tell me a reason why I should use online wallet. on: July 14, 2020, 08:45:34 AM
Anyway, I want one, only one reason, that online wallets are better than the offline ones.

Practicality. I guess that's already a valid reason for someone to use online wallets Cheesy. I am not saying that it is way better than cold wallets, what I mean is you should also put the size of your holdings and budget into the considerations before picking the storage for your coins. Do you think is it really worth to store only .001(assuming this is all the money he had right now) btc in $59 worth of Trezor? Of course not because the wallet itself is more expensive than his holdings thus he really tend to store it in a digital wallet — a wallet which is free, easy to use, not 100% hack resistant but offers a good security as well.

Using a digital wallet is not as bad as you think, I'm using one for 3 years already and yet i haven't encounter any problem (aside from maintenance Grin). The only challenge I see is the right picking of it. In a vast sea of fake apps, you should meticulously choose the legit one.
497  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: July 14, 2020, 04:39:09 AM
So it might not be true.
Guys, be really careful with what we read. There is too much fake news out there or just made for attention.
Always do deep research.
Just reminding so we can have the best sources as always.
Thank goodness! Because if Harden was infected as well then there's a high possibility for them to have a lose streak and not get a good momentum after the game resumes.

With regards to fake news, you can avoid it just by simply on sticking on their own website of course (NBA) or other reputable sites like ESPN, FoxSports etc. Smiley.
498  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: July 13, 2020, 01:07:47 PM
[snip]

I also thought he's going to win against Kamaru Usman but the Nigerian Knightmare have won the fight even though Masvidal has given a great performance against this short notice fight I really wish there can be a rematch anytime soon and this time Masvidal can prepare for that fight but for now, I think  Colby Covington is next for Jorge Masvidal.
It's Nightmare dude Cheesy. Anyway, yeah Masvidal did a great job because he really gave Usman a hard time despite of the less preparation he had. But there should be no excuses, a loss is a loss. And that's what I like about him, he is cocky but knows how  accept defeat. Nice!

I'm not actually sure about Masvidal's next fight but one thing is for sure. I can sense that there would be a bad blood building between Volkanovski and Korean Zombie. Things are getting more interesting Shocked. Read his statement/url] after the fight,

Quote
I am responding to yesterday’s title match against Volkanovski and Holloway. To be honest, it is shameful that Volkanovski is a champion of my weight class.

Give him to me then you don’t need to worry about the judges decision.

As you know, I won’t let the judges decide the result of my fight. I will finish him at the title match and that is what UFC fans want to watch.
499  Other / Meta / Re: Asking... (Mr. Big) on: July 13, 2020, 10:51:29 AM
If you really told her not to copy anything, then why did she copy a phrase from an article a day after she joined?
Hmm most probably she did not do her homework — she did not follow cabalism13's advice. Just my opinoion tho, only Metamorphosis20 can confirm that.

To be honest, the rules set are loud and clear. Plus, it has a Tagalog translation already so everyone is really expected to understand it.

It says that..

A simple rule yet she failed to comply, how sad Sad. You know what, maybe everything will not come this far if she at least quote the exact part of the article, include the source at the bottom and then tell his own insight about it. I saw few member doing such posting technique but don't encounter any problem at all.
500  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Isn't this the best time for Bitcoin? on: July 13, 2020, 05:27:28 AM
The best time to buy bitcoin is still depends on who are you and what kind of personality does you have.
Well, you have a good point in a sense that investors must have an aligned interest to crypto. If you are just the typical kind of investor that only cares on having profits, nothing more and nothing less, and don't have any interest in this geek stuff then most probably you won't succeed or do not find any fulfillment at least.

However, I do believe that if you really like something you will exert effort to know that thing very well. Like me, I am not into technologies to be honest. But since crypto gives me profits, I learned to love it and get to know more about it along the road Smiley.
