The third Test was England's honor-saving and series-saving Test match, which England won 2–1 to reserve the series for the next match and create ample opportunity to level the series. TBH after the fall of Bairstow's wicket it did once looked as if England might not be able to complete the chase, but the way Woakes batted was magnificent, almost like a proper all-rounder like Ben stokes. And even mark wood after that ensure that England do cross the finish line, I would say extra runs added by Mark wood in both the innings were very important also not to mention 7 wickets. Ben Stokes tried his best, and Woakes did it well in the third test match. This match too could've gone from the hands of England if one more wicket have fallen. At the right time Woakes did the best, and made this match a winning one. Even the first two matches were almost a winning match for England and they missed it for some reason. Sri Lanka vs Netherlands
I enjoyed a very nice match between the two teams. I did not expect the Netherlands to lose so badly. After seeing the runs that Sri Lanka gave with batting today, I first understood that the Netherlands will not be able to win beyond this run. Due to the weakness of the batsmen of the Netherlands team, in this match such Netherlands has performed badly. I know Sri Lanka is a very strong team but their batting has to face many problems due to bad performance. Today Sri Lanka won by 128 runs.
So the qualifier matches ended with expected results. Srilanka was outstanding through out this whole competition and they deserved to win final. West indies and Zimbabwe excluded from world cup which is very bad for both team. Netherland will play in world cup but this last final match i concluded that even they are qualified to play wc23 but their team is weak to compete world class team. Srilanka bowling is too good and need some consistency in batting for world cup. Finally the World Cup qualifier have ended. West Indies team out of the World Cup is a big disappointment. In the qualifier more and more surprising results happened. Scotland missed the opportunity at the end. Netherlands performance against West Indies is something unforgettable. The Super over performance from Logan Van Beek is the best in recent years that no balls ended as dot ball. In such a with lot of good performance and more record breaking ODI World Cup qualifier have come to an end. |

Sri Lanka haven't lost any of the matches in the World Cup Qualifier. With its previous win Netherlands is highly confident to chase targets. However to play against experienced teams is still a struggle. The score of 233 runs seems a reachable target, but Sri Lanka is getting better in its bowling order. Particularly the spinners were performing good, today the fast bowlers have been giving good break from the beginning.
