4881  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If BTC were to permanently freeze at one price , would you buy ? on: February 13, 2021, 06:27:59 AM
In my opinion, I would have never invested in Bitcoin if the price would have frozen. The reason why everyone wants Bitcoin is because of its volatility. Without the volatility, it would never have a value. Why then invest in something that does not have value?
4882  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: February 13, 2021, 06:22:04 AM
The second test match between ENG and IND already started, IND won the toss and elected to bat first hope they can do what ENG did to them earlier?

The unexpected inclusion of Axar Patel and they excluded Sundar for him who helped India in the first test cross 300+ with his unbeaten 85. Again the selection committee is going to face criticism for such a thing?
Nah, unless Axar fails. Having said that Axar patel was first choice in the first match too but he got injured. At home India never played more than 6 pure batsmen. Axar-Sunder-Ashwin are handy batsmen down the order (add Jadeja as well). So its all depends on their bowling ability and if they can contribute with the ball or not. Sunder looked really rusty with the ball in the last game so it makes sense.

2 quick wickets of Pujara and Kohli..  Undecided

Kohli out in a duck Grin. Thankfully Rohit is still on the pitch and is going well. Last time I saw his score he was on 80, expecting a ton from him. Rahane needs to stay there too if these two are able to play today then we can expect a good score on the board.
4883  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India makes ownership of Bitcoin criminal offense - How to respond? on: February 13, 2021, 05:43:50 AM
I am sad to see this thing happening in India, a country I considered to be ahead a lot of miles in adopting modern technologies and adhering to democratic ideas enjoyed by many in other countries. India has the potential to be a big leader in the world of blockchain and technology yet they got some leaders who are afraid of the future of money and so they assumed that allowing legit cryptocurrencies to flourish can mean that the government is going to be left out. Banning is not the best solution and millions of Indian people can suffer due to this policy. Seems to me that those in the government are not that open-minded and they are not willing to have an honest dialogue with the emerging cryptocurrency industry in India. A sad development.

Some of the biggest names in technology are from India, and examples are Sundar Pichai and Satya Nadella. But the Indian government has historically taken a stance that is against technological innovations. The situation became worse ever since the right-wing government has elected in 2014. Some of their contributions have included banning porn, and taxing stock dividends at a rate of 43%. India is definitely a leader in terms of technology, but if the current government stays in power most of the skilled people would be forced to emigrate.

We all are jumping to a conclusion here, that the Indian government will ban cryptocurrency completely.

Just to let you know the Bill needs to pass through both houses first. Then there will be a debate and after that, the crypto community in India still can take this issue to the Supreme court before the bill becomes a law.

It will take time and It is not so easy for a law to be formed in India

So, be patient and do not jump into any conclusions. India is still a democracy.

For Newbies I suggest you guys go to this board for recommended Bitcoin Wallets - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=37.0

Please do not try New Wallets if they offer you free tokens first of all and always use wallets that are non-custodials. I have been using Mycelium wallet for more than a year now and I have not faced any issue till date.

4885  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: February 12, 2021, 04:02:49 AM
South Africa and chokers, name a better word synonymous to their cricket team. If Hendricks stayed at the crease until the end. It potentially could have been a win for them but nah, he has to run without even noticing where the ball is and get run out. Anyways, I bet on Pakistan so Im happy.  Cheesy

There are still two more matches left. Pakistan had a lucky Win, they are the most unpredictable team. I still think SA will come back in the second match. The decider will be the last match, we will be able to know which team out of these two are better then.
4886  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: February 12, 2021, 03:53:02 AM
New Zealand might be in good form but they didn't play much test cricket in away condition and last time they went to play against Australia in Australia. They faced a whitewashed, they have a problem of getting choked when playing against Aussie. That's a only reason i gave advantage to Aussie.

For me, if it is NZ vs AUS, then both will be having equal chances. They will be playing in Lord's and both the teams won't have the home advantage. Australia is over-dependent on a few players, such as Steve Smith and Marnus Labuschagne. On the other hand, New Zealand is a well balanced team and they are not dependent on anyone. But then, Australia have players such as Steve Smith, who can win matches in his own. NZ lacks a player of that calibre. That said, I don't want to make any predictions until the India vs England series is over.
If we have Australia vs New Zealand then most chances. Australia will win because even New Zeland is better team but when they are facing mostly they play under pressure which is really bad for them. They need to do some work on better mind set specially against Australia because now they are one of best team in Cricket world and they can achieve any thing they have good leadership good team unit just need to play good against Australia for win.
Seeing Australia's performance against India, I don't think Australia will be able to win a series if a series will be held between Australia and New Zealand. The New Zealand team is stable enough now. They are playing very well. So I think both teams will have equal chances to win the series. Players make a lot of mistakes on the ground. The players of the team who make fewer mistakes, they will win. Because both teams have enough talented players.
We are not talking about series we are here talking about WTC final which is going to held in Lord's and New Zeland is already in and second team is going to be decided after this series because right now three teams in hunt after first test match now Australia is hot favourit and then England and India in line for this second spot.
Right now we are just 36 hours away from second test match between India and England any one give update about weather pitch could be very good for all supporters of this test match.
If by any chance India does not make into the Finals under Kohli's captaincy then do you guys think he will lose his captain's hat. The way India played with England in their first match I think there is a high probability they won't win this series. If they do not win the series then they might now reach the final.
4887  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Transaction fee much higher than what I will be sending on: February 12, 2021, 03:44:24 AM
Both Bitcoin and Ethereum now have a higher USD transaction fee as they both are getting pumped. Check mempool.space before you transfer Bitcoin it gives the average transaction fee cost depending on the time frame. You can select a low fee if you want to wait for the transaction.
4888  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Iam I being scammed? please help on: February 11, 2021, 06:05:48 AM
This is not Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency, this Forex and like any online business if you are not vigilant and are greedy you will get scammed.

Yes, you are getting scammed and I am sorry that you have lost so much money. I am not sure whether you will be able to get your money back but I am certain that you can go to the police and launch a formal complaint.

Depending on the country you are in the cyber division of the Police department will guide you on what you need to do next.

Let this be a lesson for fools who think money can be doubled in an instance on the Internet.

4889  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP - Post Lawsuit Possible Outcomes & Thoughts on: February 11, 2021, 05:29:28 AM
I never liked this coin but I do acknowledge it has a big community and if anything goes wrong it will affect the whole cryptocurrency community.

There are two possible outcomes to this issue either they lose or they win. If they lose they will disappear and SEC might come after other crypto projects that are operating in the US. If they win the price will go to the moon.
4890  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When did the word "crypto" become so popular? on: February 11, 2021, 05:20:15 AM
I guess after Bitcoin reached its first ATH in 2017, some mainstream Media started referring to ALTs like XRP and ETH by the abbreviation of crypto. I started hearing crypto from that time, though I may be wrong this is my opinion.

Plus it is easy to write crypto than cryptocurrency and also it is easy to pronounce.
4891  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Let me know please!! on: February 11, 2021, 05:14:25 AM
BTT does not pay you to write in the forum, it is the Bounty campaign known as the Signature campaign that pays you in cryptocurrencies if you are chosen, keep that in mind.

If you are good at writing and can write articles you will earn a decent amount of money if you join platforms like PublishOX and Steemit. Do remember they have selection criteria.

If you have any other skills then you can create your ANN here - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=52.0
and wait for someone to respond.

Earning money on the internet is not that simple and especially here on the Forum. It takes a lot of hard work and you need to patient, plus you do need exemplary skills in your niche.

4892  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: February 09, 2021, 10:01:18 AM
As expected ENG won the match by 226 runs and Joe Root the player of the match and he deserves it. Lot of criticism going on about Indian captain for sure and he lost 4 consecutive tests in a row. There is a 4 day break before they play second 2nd test match, can they make it in the same ground?

If there is criticism against Kohli, then it is perfectly justified. First of all, he should stop his bias and nepotism and leave team selection to those who are assigned the job. And secondly, it may be better for him to concentrate on ODI/T20I captaincy. Captaining test matches requires a cool head, which he clearly lacks. Kohli is good only for dramatics, while his tactics doesn't work most of the time. Ajinkya Rahane did a wonderful job as captain in Australia and I don't know why he was replaced for the series against England.

In my opinion I think it is better for Kohli to leave the captaincy for all the format not just Test cricket. He has hard won any international series in all the format as a captain. I think thisnis just the beginning of his downfall.
4893  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: February 09, 2021, 06:17:54 AM
ROFLMAO..... India in deep $hit right now.. Pant and Sundar gone and Kohli left high and dry at the crease. Now I don't know for how long Ashwin may be able to defend against Anderson and the spinners. But after him, it's a bunch of genuine tailenders - Ishant, Nadeem and Bumrah. Archer must be salivating at the prospect of bowling against them. 69 overs remain in this match, and India is left with 4 wickets. Anderson has got 3 wickets for 7 runs. The amount of reverse swing this guy generate is just insane..... the commentators were calling him as the "sultan of swing" and I'd say that they are absolutely spot on.

They will try and hold on the crease as long as they can because their primary focus would be to end this match in a draw. If they cannot then they will lose this match and some media houses in India will start pointing fingers on Kohli.

4895  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tesla buys 1.5 BILLION worth Bitcoins !! Good or Bad ? on: February 09, 2021, 05:15:21 AM
Except with the Market Manipulation which he has been doing quite frequently I do not see any other issue. By the way we as a community are aware about Market Manipulation by hidden Whales and after his investment we now know a Whale who is very vocal. The good thing about him is that through his twitter account he has been encouraging other celebrities and companies to invest in Bitcoin.
4896  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lost phone with bitcoin wallet on: February 09, 2021, 05:05:12 AM
I was very unfortunate to have lost a phone that had bitcoin sitting in the wallet. I was foolish and did not back the wallet up. I am wondering if there is any way to get my bitcoin at this point? I should also mention that I lost this phone 2 years ago and the lost bitcoin is now worth about 60k so whatever I could do to get it back.

Any advice is extremely welcome.

Since, you did mention you have not created any back up of your wallet therefore it will be hard for you to get access to it. The other option available for you to use the Private key which I doubt you might remember because this was an incident  that took place two years back. If you had written your Private key somewhere then still you have a chance. Otherwise forget it mate.
4897  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So lets talk honest now about btc on: February 07, 2021, 07:04:47 PM
I do not know how you got those merits when you still have questions about how bitcoin will help everyone?

I still do not have a clue from where did you come to the conclusion that Bitcoin will make your Rich? What do you mean by Rich? I mean if it means financial independence the you have to start investing in Bitcoin form today and within a span of 10 years you will be in that position.

But, your attitude will never make you one, who will become rich because of Bitcoin
4898  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New kind of coin idea can someone do it please ? on: February 07, 2021, 06:58:34 PM
The problem you invest is the price might fall down.

Solution: coin what always goes up.
If today i buy coin price 500$ then its in the system algorytm created coded this way that it can never go back to 500$ next month or further .
Next month price could be anything higher then 500$
Imagine each month goes 100-200$
Omg thats money
Like every month the price goes up but never lower then previous month.

This way i can be sure im getting only profit can someone pleaee make it ?

Suddenly you wake up and try to create a topic which sounds cool untill people read your lame idea.

Already your trust score shows how much scam you have tried so it is better you slow down and think on how you can create a positive impact in this forum.

If he was registered around 2017-2018, when the merit system was newly implemented, yes, the attitude towards newbies was worse than today. But that is because there were lots of spam ICO bounty. The most important thing is we slowly become more welcoming to civilized newbies, and lots of them have proven able to rank up.

No need to be negative about a bad review as if you never received one. You can't make all customers happy.

Yes around 2017-18 the attitude towards newbies was bad. I also joined the forum at that time. It was very hard to get merits but I did and now I am ranked as Full Member. Things have changed a lot now and it is not much difficult for newbies to rank now in this forum. The key is patience and doing the right thing and asking the right questions
4900  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: where can i learn blockchain technology on: February 07, 2021, 08:25:36 AM
If I am correct for learning solidity you need to have basic coding understanding of JavaScript, python and C++. Therefore you also need to know these languages. You can check this website https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.bitdegree.org/learn/learn-solidity/amp for more information.
