501  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do new projects know about this situation some years ago? on: August 09, 2020, 01:51:25 PM
discovery one Defi open door to explore so many things for both new and already existing projects. This is how technology is. When there is a discovery of something people rush to understand what it is and how it can help improve their already existing businesses or how they can further improve on it but that does not change the fact that some project that has nothing to offer will come out to also be championing defi because they see it as a new method through which they can get more contribution from investors. Same way so many exchanges turn to IEO
502  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Those initial exchange offering (IEO) reduce opportunities for bounty hunters? on: August 09, 2020, 01:14:00 PM
It depends on the exchange platform. From experience, when exchange platform such as Binance lists a project on their launchpad, such project requires little or no promotion from bounty hunters before it flourished. I could remember, Harmony project that had a bounty campaign but immediately binance accept them for IEO, they stopped the campaign. So I will conclude by saying getting project listed on a big exchange for IEO reduce the chance of launching such for bounty campaign
503  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The new drama has started in Altcoin on: August 09, 2020, 12:19:32 PM
That is what is called market volatility. It is relatively ok to conclude that if you are not ready to admit the loss, it is better you take out your trade and buy less volatile coins at the moment (maybe Bitcoin). Stablecoin is commonly regarded as a safe haven at this moment but however, the price can still go in anyway. If you are a risk-taker, you can continue watching the market. For the past few weeks, crypto trading has continued to witness continous market influx of minted stablecoins
504  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best Masters to specialize in Crypto/Bitcoin/Blockchain? on: August 09, 2020, 11:44:37 AM
I do not know maybe you are looking at the prospect of getting a job in this field but if you want to be an entrepreneur maybe it is a good one for you. I have seen so many schools especially in Europes offering funding and scholarships on combine blockchain and artificial intelligence and I see alot of future prospects in this. With the growing adoption of the technology in banking and other financial institution, having such masters degree might give you and edge in getting your dream job so it is a yes for me
505  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange security questions on: August 08, 2020, 06:35:45 PM
Binance has one of the best security, the fingerprint scanner protects you from online hacker and people around the. This is because you will need this plus code sent to your mobile phone to quickly get access to your account. 2FA is another powerful method of increasing the security of your account. Unless someone has access to the google authenticator code that is generated for your binded account, it is very unlikely that someone has access. The platform is also very sensitive to IP change. if it is noticed that your location has changed, you will need to authenticate that you are the owner of the account through your mail
506  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hire Crypto Trader on: August 08, 2020, 03:24:15 PM
You might be open to scammers if you are not careful. They will even give you fake trading history just to make them look like a good trader just to hire them but you will be surprised nothing good will come out of it. Crypto trading is a very complex process that no one can be able to predict. Although you have already given a condition. I will advise you to learn trading for yourself. We have so many resourceful materials here and on the internet that can help you to start trading. You can use demo crypto account such https://demo.hitbtc.com/ to start
507  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do scams harm Bitcoin's reputation in the mainstream world? on: August 08, 2020, 02:54:29 PM
From my own viewpoint, scam is cur across every currency. Both fiat and digital currency. However, it becomes a problem when the chance of getting or recovering back your money is very slim. Then people become fearful when it is not likely going to be so. Consistent use of digital currencies who has been a subject of discussion by novice as a scam will further harm the reputation of the coin while it might promote further usage as currency for getting away with scam by the scammers. Such can be noticed by increasing scam giveaway on youtube that use the same old trick and even site script
508  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why do exchanges get away with faking trade volume? on: August 08, 2020, 01:02:04 PM
The question is who will regulate them ? Many of this exchange are new exchange platform that exchange listing of shitcoin for new traders but get stuck in continuous listing of bad project. They also fake volume to rank higher in coinmarketcap and other crypto trading monitoring sites. Unless people stop patronizing them, they will never stop this. Some of them don't even have physical address which make it difficult to even sue or get then regulated
509  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why most people think Bitcoin is a scam? on: August 08, 2020, 12:51:01 PM
Except you fully understand what bitcoin is and its functionality, you will never understand why it is not a scam. Majority of the people jump into know bitcoin as a means of making quick profit but fails to understand the pros and cons. If you are new into trading, and you lost a lot of money and become frustrated, you will end up making the same statement unless you understand beyond crypto but rather the blockchain technology. Some people that invested in an HYIP that pays in bitcoin but get scam will also call bitcoin scam
510  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Decentralized Cloud Storage: Is it worth it? on: August 07, 2020, 06:56:43 PM
You need a token to access many of the features of decentralized cloud storage when some centralized platforms offer these services for free. Unless you are taking what you are storing to be of high priority, I do not see the reason why DEX cloud storage will be an option. By the way, cloud storage such as google drive has gone far in such a way now that many of the users of the phone are directly asked to backup their data on google drive when accessing a new phone. Maybe in the nearest future, the DEX storage might worth it but not presently
511  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reason hunters dump reward as soon as received. Trust Exchange etc on: August 07, 2020, 12:16:11 PM
When I first joined bounty, I used to keep my token even after a dump in price. This was a long time ago when the price of token used to recover back and even surpass the crowd sale price. I could remember AION token, I did not sell after distribution and eventually sell when the price was 3x. The story is different today. bounty hunters are treated like shit by dev. You get your token locked and being touted as if you did not work for it. It became dangerous to keep on holding coin when I discover token do not recover after dumping while some are even listed at price far below crowdsale price
512  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: best place to find new low cap projects? on: August 07, 2020, 11:42:51 AM
if you are looking for crypto news you can sign up for the Cointelegraph newsletter to get it to deliver to your mail every day. ICO listing site will help you to discover some project with little caps but it is very difficult to determine the success and profitability of any project due to so many factors which have been mentioned many times on numerous topics here on BTT. So I will suggest you do your own research but from my experience, most projects are not profitable this days, provided they even get listed
513  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SEC looking for more tools to track crypto on: August 07, 2020, 09:47:43 AM
It is becoming more intense now. Anyone who has one way or the other lost his/her crypto to the scammer will support the intentions of the SEC maybe one day it will be possible for them to help recover stolen assets. Meanwhile, a regular crypto enthusiast will see it as a means of getting to know too much and probably will end up in further regulation of crypto assets but the real question is what exactly we really want.
514  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Average Congressman has nearly 60 years. Can those grandpas regulate bitcoin? on: August 07, 2020, 09:41:24 AM
The fact that they are old and do not understand does not mean they cannot champion the regulation. They have the legislative power to do it and when the right time comes, the will poise to know what it is and how to go about regulation. when there is the massive adoption of crypto, and it cut across mainstream media, they will also learn what it is irrespective of the average age. Most of the things that are being regulated today, they also learn about it and provide necessary legislative prose as part of their work
515  Bitcoin / Meetups / Re: Nigerian Foremost Bank to host Blockchain Technology and AI Webinar on: August 06, 2020, 04:08:44 PM
Blockchain Technology and artificial intelligence. They might as well just throw in "DeFi" and "smart contracts" to the buzzwords mix.

Anyone watched the webinar tho? I'm curious in what they actually covered.

516  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has anyone seen this website before? on: August 06, 2020, 03:58:48 PM
I have no idea how you guys get all this website. Most especially the newbie. It is not possible to earn a fixed amount by mining. Without going far, if you check the website development, you must have realized there is a strong indication that this is a scam site. No single link to their social media pages to collect information feedback from customers. You only get directed to social media websites. All the feature links at the footer are not working but keep redirecting you up to the main page and yet the customer support chat box is always available to compel people to pay for their package.
517  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Google Advertises Uniswap Phishing Scams on: August 06, 2020, 01:58:47 PM
Unless google reviews the method they use before accepting ads for promotions, it will be difficult to totally eradicate these scam ads. Many of the scammers have seen and realize how desperate people are to make money from crypto and they keep on looking for a way out to get phishing and scam running even on Youtubes. Scam promotion through ads on twitter is what I have not seen so maybe they can borrow a leave from twitter to overcome such scams
518  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Is Best Course Of Action? on: August 06, 2020, 10:54:19 AM
You will need to define what you mean by a rainy day. The reason why many people lose in trading is that they do not set a target, have unrealistic targets, or are swayed to changing target due to their future expectations. If you are planning to hold for a long time, the past and present price you bought your bitcoin and how long you have been holding will determine your action. To cut the story short, you are the right person to determine what to do at this moment because no one knows your budget, monthly expenses, and expenditure but do not let the current drag you to making wrong decision because nothing last forever

520  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] BestChange Signature Campaign | Sr Member+ on: August 05, 2020, 03:02:56 AM
I can see that a lot of posts suggesting new rules for the campaign are coming from those who are not participants and want to join the campaign. The manager has been here for long time and I'm very certain he knows how to improve and get the best out of the campaign. Repeated suggestion of already considered ideas are not necessary. If he sees anything to work on. I'm sure he will do it.  Repeated suggestion is also part of spamming
