I don't think Putin is that stupid. And Russia's current Military capability is nothing like those of the Soviet Union. And the Soviet Unions Military might was grossly overstated as well.

Are you sure that Russia is not strong enough to conquer Ukraine in less than 14 days, even with the alleged military aid that Ukraine receives from some countries?

The Russian Armed Forces are one of the world's largest military forces, with around a million active-duty personnel, which is the world's fifth-largest, and at least 2 million reserve personnel. It is mandatory for all male citizens aged 18–27 to be drafted for a year of service in the Armed Forces.

On the other hand, the EU as a whole has less than 2 million people in active military forces, which means that the EU would not have a good time if Putin decided to repeat what the Russians did during WW2 - the question of coming to Berlin would not be questionable at all, it would only be a matter of time.

Source

127.000 Russian vs 255.000 Ukraine troops with 100.000 reserves and they are much better equipped today, in fact; $60 Billion worth of equipment are reserved for Ukraine. By the time Poetin mobilized his 3 million soldiers Europe already did the same. Population Russia; ~114 million, Europe ~440 million.

Poetin will think twice if he wants to take over Europe all the way to London, it will not happen it's all bluffing propaganda.

The U.S itself has the largest and most technologically advanced military in the world. They have air and sea superiority, this is the result of years of spending enormous amounth of money and they continue doing so.

I’ve been in Hawaii for the last couple months working in joint base PHH right next to these brand new destroyers and docked submarines..
They are pretty badass looking..

I thought the destroyers would have more guns like the older battleships but no.. They just use rockets for everything these days I guess..
If it's a stealth ship it's all hidden and only pops out when needed, as seen in the beginning of this video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=68HMA1D7pQU
Missiles are also hidden, as seen in this video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e1bx8IC8lCA

Top Scientists conspired to cover up lab leak investigation
Quote
Scientists believed Covid leaked from Wuhan lab - but feared debate could hurt ‘international harmony’

Emails to Dr Anthony Fauci show ‘likely’ explanation identified at start of coronavirus pandemic, but there were worries about saying so

Leading British and US scientists thought it was likely that Covid accidentally leaked from a laboratory but were concerned that further debate would harm science in China, emails show.

An email from Sir Jeremy Farrar, director of the Wellcome Trust, on February 2 2020 said that “a likely explanation” was that Covid had rapidly evolved from a Sars-like virus inside human tissue in a low-security lab.

The email, to Dr Anthony Fauci and Dr Francis Collins of the US National Institutes of Health, went on to say that such evolution may have “accidentally created a virus primed for rapid transmission between humans”.

But a leading scientist told Sir Jeremy that “further debate would do unnecessary harm to science in general and science in China in particular”. Dr Collins, the former director of the US National Institutes of Health, warned it could damage “international harmony”.

What an utter nonsense.  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
Post your crap elsewhere, please.

No wonder BTC price crashes.

Hopefully BTC will go up again when your crap is deleted.

Saying it's nonsense doesn't make it so, disprove the claims or get the fuck out of our thread.
Some people already said it: YOU need to prove if it's true, if you want to be taken seriously. If you don't prove it, people will mock you.  Cheesy
Because you need to prove it!
It's called science! (but are you afraid of science?)

If you say: I need to prove your BS claim, everyone could make up some unproven BS claims and get away with it.

If bananaunana, whoever that little prick is, claims that it's nonsense he will have to prove that by, for example, find a source that debunks Marcuses sources.

You are a little prick.
I'm not a scientist and I don't need to prove any pseudo-science 'sources' especially your 'death jabs' accusation. If you have problems to do scientific research I'm very sorry for you. But here is a source.
If you say 'death jabs' you need to say 'mega death virus'

You can still buy a banana for 1 BTC each!

What the fuck are you talking about you little idiot prick.
I have never ever said "death jab" or anything remotely like that. In fact, if I wasn't already immune from having covid I would probably be vaccinated by now.

And no, he (Marcus) provided links to his sources, sources that can not immediately be discarded as crackpots.
If you claim that it's nonsense you will have to prove that by, for example, find a source that debunks Marcus's sources.
You seem to have problems knowing who you are debating with and what you are debating.
I'm criticizing you for not refuting his (Marcus) claims, and just say "What an utter nonsense... Post your crap elsewhere, please.", that's just a slightly more mature way of saying "Your'e dumb, I hate you!" and stomping your legs really hard.
Now, if you have found something that debunks Marcus's sources then go to Marcus's original post and post them there as an answer to his post. If you do that you will have done it right.

Having said that, the claim that the virus is man made/manipulated and comes from the Wuhan lab is not particularly far fetched and is being put forward as the most possible origin of the virus in many reputable news sources, something you would have known if you knew how to google or read a newspaper.
I'm guessing, based on how you "debate" that you are quite young and/or immature, I would therefore suggest that you leave this thread, grow older and hopefully wiser, and come back in say, ten tears from now, and apologize.

Until then, fuck of.

Edited.

Saying it's nonsense doesn't make it so, disprove the claims or get the fuck out of our thread.

As a general rule, it’s the job of the person who makes the claims to prove them true.
Not the job of the person who calls the claims nonsense to disprove them.
I can’t disprove the claim there’s an almighty invisible sky fairy living in the heavens.
But I still call the claim nonsense anyway.

Eh, no. He provided links to his sources, sources that can not immediately be discarded as crackpots.

I did it. At least 5-6 his last posts I fact-checked were utter crap. All made up by *cough* anti-v *cough*. Also links to proof were provided. It's not enough?  Cool

No actually, old claims being wrong doesn't automatically mean that new claims are.

R.I.P Meat Loaf.

 Cry

I have all his stuff.

Saw him many times live, all over the UK in fact.

He was rather good at performing rock shows with his band in the 90s and 200xs. His music was epic, especially the stuff with Jim Steinman.

Very sad to hear.

Indeed, I still listen to "Bat out of hell", it never wears out.

Been thinking a bit, now that European countries are starting to to give up and say "fuck it, Covid is just another flu infection from now on", how are countries like China and New Zealand going to cope with that?
Are they going to stay in self isolation for ever?
They have to accept reality at some point and let the virus in.

Unless they know something about covid we don't. And I don't mean New Zealand.

Yeah, but we will get them with our hamsters, biological warfare.

Hi guys
I'm feeling better now.
I don't know if it was my arthritis acting up or if I had Omicron I had muscle and joint aches, headache, slept a lot and had nightly sweatings/hot/cold kind of thing. and that's symptoms that fit both. I also had my knee swelling up again so I had to go to the hospital and empty it and get a cortisone shot, that helped and I also got better over all after that. but in time that would coincide with when a covid infection would be over-ish.
I got bad on January first and didn't feel alright until three days ago.
Had no loss of smell though and no cough to speak of, just a little, so I don't know what I had, but I feel good now.
I will probably not bother to read the backlog, is there anything important I have missed?

Nice to read good news from you again, Arrie!
They didn't check for Covid at the hospital? Strange...
Did you try organic sulphur (MSM) combined with Vitamin C and Glucosamine?
It's pretty effective against swelling and pain in light to moderate cases, i also experienced stronger hair growth after taking MSM for a few weeks.
At start, you could get serious bloating and headache, unless you slowly ramp up the MSM dosage from 1/8g to 1g (double the initial dose every third day) and drink a lot of water. I mean 2-4 liters per day, your body will crave for it, believe me Smiley
Read it up. It's safe unless you don't go over 2g/day or more. Some do 6g daily for a short while and didn't have any problems.

The backlog: We're in the dip of the dip of the dip. I am mainly reading WO since Christmas, came to posting less because of more private reasons, less free time after all.

No, no checks at the hospital any more, I think they don't take it that seriously any more, they do make you wear a mask inside the hospital though, the only place I have been to that has a mask mandate.
They did tell me when we made small talk that many of their doctors and nurses were in self quarantine at home because of Omicron, a lot of them had had the earlier version of covid and were triple vaccinated.
So it seems omicron is spreading like wildfire to everyone regardless of earlier immunization.

And it looks like the parliament is about to take away the governments temporary right to impose restrictions, they want to prolong it for another four months, but the parliament has let it be known that they will only approve a two month prolonging.
And then I guess it's over, at least in Sweden.

I have tried Glucosamine only, but I can't say it had any noticeable effect. I do have an open prescription for Prednisolon (a cortisone) and I use it to suppress my inflammation if it gets really bad, it works very well but I have to use it sparsely, it is not good for your body in the long run.

FFP2 (N95) Masks worn correctly turned out to be the most effective against Omicron infection. I got quite a fan of carragene nasal sprays, which is an extract from algae, that in turn decreases the viral load and docking capability of sars2 viruses in upper respiraory tract tissues. It's replicating mainly in these tissues, not in the deeper lung tissue, unlike the preceding sars2 variants. So vaccines aren't building up early immune response antibodies and t-cells that are in/on these tissues, that's why the work poorly against infection (put simple).

We have full retard covid politics here at the moment, with vaccination mandates, signing off violation of parts of the EU-GDPR when you get vaccinated, to share all your health data with various national and political institutions, automatically processed, personal health data, that is.
I currently look at my motherland as a failing state, covid politics wise. I shoudl post an update to the COVID thread, soon.

Glucosamine (and Collagenes) has to be taken for a couple of weeks to start showing effects, when isolated, afair. There are also nutritional co-dependencies (vit C, afair).
Since glucosamine is chemically similar to fructose, i could not take it too long because of the side effects in my particular case. Generally it is quite well tolerated by everybody not having a problem with fructose (and co.)...

Cortisone depletes calcium quite agressively, you should always supplement that along with K2 and Vitamin-D, up to 200% RDA while taking moderate doses of cortisone.
I use it rarely and sparingly, when my bowel gives me hell every few years.

Been thinking a bit, now that European countries are starting to to give up and say "fuck it, Covid is just another flu infection from now on", how are countries like China and New Zealand going to cope with that?
Are they going to stay in self isolation for ever?
They have to accept reality at some point and let the virus in.

Not here. They want to let Omicron in WITH everybody and his dog getting vaccinated on top. They fucked up a few times now already, they fear nothing more than fucking up another time.

Yeah, I read about the vaccination mandate, that has to be illegal, I see several lawsuits in the European court of human rights in the future.

Talking about Omicron and animals, Hong Kong authorities have just killed several thousand hamsters after some hamsters imported from Holland tested positive for covid. I shit you not. The have also told people not to kiss their hamsters.

Going to hit the sack and read a little, stay safe!

Yes he is, he is immune you idiot.

He can be immune or not. There is a law. Everybody is equal and must comply. Or maybe I can smuggle some weed into Sweden today? I need it for medical reason I swear!  Grin

Because smoking weed and playing tennis is almost the same thing.

Everybody may be equal to the law de jure, but we all now they are not de facto, and furthermore not all laws are equal.

Djoko is the goat, if the TO can assure that he is quarantined or similar to and from/between games they should let him play, IMO.

Why? he has better immunity from having had covid than any vaccinated person will ever have.

Remember all those wyckoff accumulation charts we saw in last year's mid year dip. It proved to be correct, I haven't seen any such analysis getting around now but things look similar. Has anybody seen any of that analysis done on this dip?

I seem to remember someone posting about it some days ago, basically saying that it looks good.

Just thinking aloud here, god awful price. Really looks like someone is just trying to push the market down time and time again. In the mean time on-chain data is still pretty positive, how long can this divergence last I wonder. Keep thinking we should see a move in January at least, but the price isn't making much sense to me anymore.

I don't know, wasn't the 2013 top in November and the 2017 top in December, that would place the next top in January.
I'm not ready to give up the four year cycle theory just yet, If we still haven't had a blow of top in march I'll abandon it, but not before that.

I remember that i watched it. I kept it on harddrive, so it was good enough to keep an re-watch it.

Scratch that, i confused it with "Kingsman" (Part 1, that is).
Waiting for a quality rip of The King's Man now...  Grin

Me too, I couldn't find any on piratebay, so I downloaded the other two in the series instead ( Kingsman: The Secret Service, and Kingsman: The Golden Circle).
