surely chart buddy is not to blame

Chart Buddy returns, the price falls.
Draw your own conclusions.

I'm thinking of buying a 3D printer, and I'm looking at the Anycubic Photon Mono, a resin printer, and maybe a Creality3D Ender-3 V2 for prints that don't need fine details.

I will mostly be printing stuff for model railways in H0 (1:87) scale so the resin printer will be for the small fine detail stuff and the other one for the rest.

They both seems to have good reviews and a reasonable price, do you guys have any comments or experience on these machines that you could kindly share?

Get yourself a fume hood if you go with resin - the smell can be unbearable.

Yes I have heard so too, apparently it differs a lot between different types of resin.
I was planning on putting it in a room downstairs and close the door, maybe open a window if necessary.
I have looked into some more printers, and have decided on the Elegoo Mars Pro, it takes bigger prints and has a active coal (Or whatever it's called in English) filter that supposedly kills most of the odor.
And it's cheaper than the Photon Mono.

To all people new in crypto/trading.

You should not trade before you can answer this correctly:

A man buys a goat for 60.
Then he sells it for 70.
Later, he buys that goat back for 80.
Then, he sells it again for 90.

How much profit did he make?

Reply in comments also!

Give us a timeline? Have to bring inflation to the calculation...

All the info needed to answer this correctly is already there.

I suck at math as you all know, I even had trouble with that math problem your kid also had trouble with, took me about 15 minutes before I realized that the trick is to forget about the cents and just move the decimal comma two  places and then just add the cents.

Anyhow I use compartments and envelopes and stuff to do this kind of math, and sometimes in real life as well, so here is my answer.

I have 60 and apparently I live somewhere in the middle east or north Africa, because I choose to buy a goat instead of an I-phone. I have my life savings in an envelope marked  "I", I take the money from I and buy an I-goat.
I now have no money but a really cool MENA I-goat.
My friend comes along and admires my new I-goat and convinces me to sell it to him, he pays me 70
I now have no goat but 70 money.
That is a profit of 10 money.
After a while my friend discovers that it is a he goat and wants to sell it back.
I had grown fond of the goat and decided to accept his offer of 80 money, but I only have 70 so I have to borrow 10 from the envelope marked "mom".
I now have a goat and minus 10 money
A little later my friend comes back, he has now discovered his true self, joined a closed facebook group named "he goat lovers", and wants to buy the he goat back. I accept and sell it to him for 90 money.
I give 10 money back to "mom" and now I have 80 money.
My initial investment was 60 money so I'm now plus 20 money.
My answer is 20 money.

Price sucks but some humour to lighten the mood.

Stay strong guys, I’m feeling worried myself but we must HODL on.

Don't worry mate, the price is still good, isn't it?

And we all know that it will shoot to the sky again soon enough.

HODLing strong.

Price is still good, but the real worry is not the current price. It is that we are in another multi-year bear market, and one that according to previous history shouldn't be happening at this point in the cycle.

Always HODLing, even if depressing.

We are not in another multi year bear cycle, why would you even think that, we are just ahead of the cycle and taking a breather.
1127  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 23, 2021, 03:09:23 PM
Do you guys remember when we were the newbies, panicking and falling apart everytime there was a huge dip and now its funny to watch the others while hodling calmly?

I'm not panicking, but pretty depressed by all of it. It just seems like it shouldn't be happening at this point in the cycle, but hey, maybe the cycle is not over yet.

Everyone should stop comparing cycles imho...

Should look to the NOW not history.... All bullish signs improvements, adoption etc....
We didn’t had these in the past, comparing ain’t the way....

Yes and no, you are right, we shouldn't compare in detail, and we are ahead of the cycle anyway, so a breather was expected, but I think you can use the cycles in large for comparison.

I am throwing together a coffee powered "Saturday long post".

I am hoping these are not annoying...  I could move them to Medium or something, but I prefer our little home here...

No, not annoying, please go ahead.

So I guess half of the crypto world is waiting for the weekly moving average close tomorrow and if we close under there will be a huge sell off. Let's just hope that's a trap and after the sell off things get up pretty quickly. Weak hands out. If not, yeah than 4 years hodl.

Believe me, no one in the crypto world gives a toss about the moving average.
We are still on track for 100k plus in Q4
1131  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 21, 2021, 02:41:01 PM
Speaking of, where is that useless piece of shit bot now that it could actually provide some useful info?
1132  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 21, 2021, 02:38:49 PM
These flash dumps are getting annoying, almost as annoying as Chart Buddy.
1133  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 21, 2021, 02:24:59 PM
My tolerance for whining is zero right now so I shut Chartbuddy off. I notice also that the price dropped after I did so so draw your own conclusions.

... turn it back on, it's just some stupid old norwegian curmudgeon who a) creates dramas so people will talk to him and break his sad loneliness and b) is too stupid to ever being able to figure what the CB 3d Wall means frustrates the hell out of him

Norwegian?

It'll become obvious once he sees you partying hard on June 6th.

We did own Norway for a while, between 1814 and 1905, officially it was a union, (The united kingdoms of Sweden and Norway) but it was de facto a Swedish conquest.

From Wikipedia.

"Norway had been in a closer union with Denmark, but Denmark-Norway's alliance with Napoleonic France caused the United Kingdom and Russia to consent to Sweden's annexation of the realm as compensation for the loss of Finland in 1809 and as a reward for joining the alliance against Napoleon."

Denmark did get Swedish Pomerania as a small compensation, and they immediately lost it to Prussia.

Ugh.. this thread.

Like this ffs not
I fucking hope this is an exaggeration, I've been on this thread a while and yes R0ach was a Nazi I'm happy to say CP hasn't ever been on any of the pages I've seen. I'd report that shit so quick, I have no patience for that.

I kind of miss Roach, he would at least stir things a bit every now and then.
Wonder what side he would have taken, he hated both jews, arabs and muslims, (and most women).

I liked to read R0ach's posts, regardless of the content, they were always with well reasoned argument, he fairly accurately predicted the dip in silver prices, when I was in the market to buy some. Sub $14 in Dec 2015 its now $27.xx wow nearly twice price now. A pretty good investment.

Bitcoin was around $450 at the time.
I guess he was just defeated to see Bitcoin out performing silver by such a huge margin and decided to quit posting his arguments have been proven totally wrong.
Given his love of precious metal I never did understand the anti Semite stuff, maybe he was a Jew himself but a self loathing one.

At least Arriemoller is consistent in being on the wrong side of every argument

The wrong side?
1137  Economy / Speculation / Re: Chartbuddy Yes on: May 20, 2021, 11:53:37 PM
Agree.  And I do not think counting multiples from a single source is fair.  Just an aggregate of unique posters.  I did give 10 merits.  So I am speaking against any advantage given by that.  But I also see it as worth 10 merits.  I understand not everyone feels it, but I thin CB is a strong net positive.

I could have gone with max 1 but I did want to give anyone who felt strongly about it the chance to be heard. I was half expecting Arriemoller to drop 500 merits Cheesy

I don't save my merits.
I try to give them to deserving people, so I have very few.
Besides I said many pages back that I was ok with chart buddy coming back so I don't really get all the commotion and polling and stuff.
