501  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin price rise affect your gameplay? on: October 30, 2020, 06:24:07 PM
sometimes it affected my decision whether I deposit my money at that time, or wait until the price is stable.
your desire to enjoy the movement of bitcoin price hype will be higher than enjoying a fun bet.
it mostly happens when you regularly bet on a gambling site with crypto-based payment.
I mean when they are not converting our crypto into USD.
502  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If btc > $150k, will you still gamble it? on: October 30, 2020, 05:30:07 PM
I vote for "Will use some part for gambling and sell the rest".
I gamble for fun, but I need money too.

big players will be ok with the high fees. but for small players, maybe they will offer some options.
despite the altcoin options, I believe that gambling websites will find a way to solve the high fees problem to attract more players.
for example, supporting zero-fee custodial bitcoin wallet service for their website.

Great wins yesterday  Grin what a performance from Rashford, only second (first was Ole) United player who scored hattrick as a sub

Ole scored a quattrick actually. He needs to play himself on fifa to score 4 goals as a substitute like ole lol.

-snip-
The 5:0 between Manchester and Leipzig was the highest defeat for Leipzig in 11 years!

And that match was the first home-win for United this season.

I agree that Manchester United's experience in international games is indeed better than RB Leipzig, so a big 5-0 victory deserves very much for Manchester United. Moreover, the appearance of Marcus Rashford is at his best, scoring a hattrick in the final 15 minutes of the second half was simply incredible. RB Leipzig will indeed find it difficult to pass the group phase, must fight for a place with Paris Saint-Germain who managed to win against Istanbul Basaksehir. It is very interesting competition in the Group H champions league.

They were UCL semifinalist last season tho.
They sold some good players like T. Werner. It can be a reason too.
We will see it more clear on the matchday 3 next week. Leipzig vs PSG will be a good match to watch.
I hope they are not a one-season-wonder team (UCL edition)  Grin

Also please take a Look at Mind Research & Development | https://www.mindrnd.com

If I am not mistaken, you sell cannabis related product on your website.
Have you tried to create a thread on the goods (marketplace) board?
Here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=51.0
I saw some users selling cannabis related products as well there.
I suggest you to list your website on https://spendabit.co/ as well.
508  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: October 29, 2020, 04:42:44 AM
Our local tv channel didnt broadcast united match when they got the first home win. Sad
Came off the bench in the 63rd minutes and scored a hattrick, the MBE pays off for rashy lol  Grin
as a united fan, can we start composing a farewell speech for the ufa europa league already? Grin
509  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Should You Track The Cryptocurrency Market Cap Before Investing? on: October 28, 2020, 06:42:44 PM
Investing in crypto means you expect a nice growth of the value from your crypto.
The value of your crypto can grow nicely when it has a good supply and demand.
It will determines how liquid is your crypto. Crypto with big marketcap has a good liquidity.
In a nutshell, you will be easier to convert your crypto into fiat money when you invest in a big marketcap crypto.
Marketcap also representation of how investors see that crypto. Big marketcap = investors see it as a valuable thing.

510  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The reason behind creating Bitcoin. on: October 28, 2020, 05:11:33 PM
We need fo ask satoshi about that.
Any background story could be possible to be the reason why bitcoin was born in 2008.
Even a conspiracy theory, new world order, can fits this question.
However, one sure thing is bitcoin was born to be a peer to peer electronic cash system (bitcoin wp title).

Quote
BITCOIN WP - ABSTRACT
A purely peer-to-peer version of electronic cash would allow online payments to be sent directly from one party to another without going through a financial institution. Digital signatures provide part of the solution, but the main benefits are lost if a trusted third party is still required to prevent double-spending. We propose a solution to the double-spending problem using a peer-to-peer network. The network timestamps transactions by hashing them into an ongoing chain of hash-based proof-of-work, forming a record that cannot be changed without redoing the proof-of-work. The longest chain not only serves as proof of the sequence of events witnessed, but proof that it came from the largest pool of CPU power. As long as a majority of CPU power is controlled by nodes that are not cooperating to attack the network, they'll generate the longest chain and outpace attackers. The network itself requires minimal structure. Messages are broadcast on a best effort basis, and nodes can leave and rejoin the network at will, accepting the longest proof-of-work chain as proof of what happened while they were gone.

By this mid-way, I would like to take a moment to appreciate everyone for their time and efforts and there are some really good entries and we are going to have a hard time choosing the best one, thanks to each and everyone of you all for the entries.

Let me answer the questions being asked.

I think people did not read rules and requirements properly and make entries.
Yes, it would be better if they can avoid already used names because we want something unique but appreciate all the efforts and entries by everyone.

-snip-

Yeah, I hope you can find a good name here.
Curently, there are 322,247 erc20 tokens found at etherscan.
Not to mention trc20, and other coins.
So, it will be difficult to get a name that never been used before.
512  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: October 28, 2020, 06:36:10 AM
Then COVID happened, and we're so unfortunate won't see the meet. So sad to see that people are actually glad to see the legends Lionel Messi reunited with Cristiano Ronaldo once more, it could be the last time of meeting on matches in there Era.

-snip-

I looked for ronaldo-messi’s match since the drawing of UCL. The wait is over, and it ends bad now. However, it is still an interesting match to watch.
Seems like barcelona is the favorite team for tonight.
Barcelona 2.4
Juventus 2.94
Not so impressive at their league, but both of the teams won their first UCL match this season.

I also interested on MU vs Leipzig.
Can united get the first win at home? Cant believe that they havent won a match at home.

FT: Lokomotiv moscow 1 - 2 Bayern Munich
Really entertaining and fun to watch.
34 of total shots for both side.  It’s like playing FIFA Grin
35% of ball possession but lokomotiv moscow still manage to have more shots on goal than bayern munich.
And it’s good to see their stadium attended by some supporters, not just on a video board.

514  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: October 27, 2020, 06:18:31 PM
if Ozil is willing to go to AC Milan, it is likely that Hakan Calhanoglu will actually be released by AC Milan. based on rumors, AC Milan and Hakan still have not agreed to extend the contract. Hakan reportedly asked for a double salary increase, this is what made AC Milan delay the renewal process until he found a salary value agreement.

I am not sure about that. Considering the age between these players, ozil is 6 years older than calhanoglu.
Also calhanoglu stats last season is not that bad, 11 goals and 9 assists in 38 matches.
And currently he collects 4 goals and 4 assists this season (8 matches).
Milan should keep him for another 2-3 years. However, anything is possible. Covid19 makes financial of some club looks bad, so let see.

I think there is nothing to worry about, the promo code will just not be valid, nothing else will happen.

It’s a valid promotional code, it has green remarks that tell you the code you input is working.
However, there will be no change in your balance. It seems like $0 promotional code.
Can we as a registered user create our personalized promotional code too? Did I miss something on this?
520  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: October 26, 2020, 08:48:16 AM
You know, it doesn't happen everyday but this one almost never happened on my gambling history Shocked:

Feeling bad for auto cashout on 300x multiplier >

Wow, I have never seen that on Roobet’s crash before.
That multipliers was enough to buy you lambo hurracan with just $0.1 lol  Grin

I want to ask about the promo code. I saw on twitter that roobet official account regularly share promo code to followers. However, I entered a promo code from a fake roobet account (@_roobet_).
What could be happen to my account when I enter that code. Is it safe?
