Anyway, when we unleash the catapult whitepaper one will immediately see who is going to set the standard on blockchain.

As far as I am concerned Mijin is hands down the best private chain, and anybody that is using a private chain should do a head-to-head trial against Mijin. TB is so confident in their product they are giving away free trials of Mijin to real companies. Mijin has a chain that is so awesome and good, that it will make a business better, and Mijin will even give it to them for free! http://mijin.io/en/Couldnt agree more!

Today the NEM team announces the release of the Android wallet. The iOS app is in late stages of development and will be ready soon. YouTube Promo VideoThe new apps work in conjunction with the recently released NanWallet. The mobile app allows users to make and scan invoices, export their address book contact, or backup their wallet via QR. The Android app can serve to work reversely as both a merchant point-of-sale app or a user app. The new apps also work with the Owon's newly released paper wallet generator. To run it, unzip the folder and click on the Voucher+Paper_Wallet.exe file. All private and important information is stored locally and never transmitted over the internet. Good to know: The private key is all you need to access your XEM balance from any other device. There is no XEM kept inside this mobile wallet app, all is **on the NEM blockchain!** Here is a link for the blog. Here is the link to download the Android App. Thanks for the update! Looking forward to testing it out very soon!

Man, the news just keeps getting better and better! Wont be long before we will be looking at how cheap NEM was at this price! lol

Yes i would like to know too. On the other hand, is it really a big deal? Ripple gets alot of criticism because of its ties with banks. Ripple is centralized and private, Nem is decentralized and Public. The Nem community can veto the devs by rejecting a hard fork (see etherium classic) .. As such, Nem can never have ties with anyone in the same way that ripple can.. It's a matter of company ties vs community ties. Thats probably one of the reasons banks are choosing Ripple perhaps?

I like XEM its a very interesting project. I wonder though if the "harvesting" of coins as opposed to traditional mining will be confusing and put people off the coin. People are resistant to change and generally don't like things they don't understand.
Can anyone who knows a lot about the project explain the advantages of the way coins are generated?
Its not really any different than any other POS coin, only difference is you get rewarded more if you actively use your account.

I've bought a couple Nemesis XEM after people mentioned it in this thread. It's definitely an interesting coin. I've read the website but I still don't understand how "harvesting" works as opposed to traditional mining. I tried to open the announcement thread here to get some more information but the forum is still not cooperating with me. NEM will surprise many, they are keeping a low profile, but serious partnerships are happening right as we speak...

Like I said before XEM is stable to me and NEM platform is so much potential .
Yes, I agree. I also think that we dont even fully realise the extent NEM is actually being marketed in Japan and other parts of Asia. There are people taking the project seriously, you just dont get partnerships with Mijin and Tech Bureau, Dragonfly etc overnight.

NEM "performed" very well compared to other major altcoins. It has lost around -5% while Monero, Ethereum, Factom, MaidSafe etc lose much more. The release of nano wallet was overlaid by the ZCash start, unfortunately. I expect that the price will recover as soon as the ZCash hype declines and investors are taking other coins into account again. Then they will see the big news about NEM.
All the hype around Zcash and Vcash is a joke, expect to see a major dump on both of these after their pump has happened. Much like what happened to STEEM. We can clearly see the pumps that Monero and DASH both had also. Just pure manipulation, nothing more.

waiting for mobile freakin wallet. it's been 2 years already lol You only have to wait to next Friday fro android and then the Friday after that for iOS

I agree with this . NEM started in Japan as its Asian hub. It would likely be spread across it. Should there be mass adoption in banks ? I certainly would recommend NEM and Mijin. Is there any way to submit a currency for voting? I dont know if they operate in this way, but it would be awesome if we could reach into the Korean markets Perhaps there are some Korean members here that can help contact them?

i wish i could understand a single word from this All you need to know is that the Chinese think NEM is awesome! Anyone knows why NEM has such a low trading volume compared to other top20 crypto projects ? Price seems kinda not really true/supported at these volumes ?!?
Well I wondered that for a while also, but I found that its more than likely due to low sell pressure, and sellers are not willing to drop their price.
