525  Economy / Services / Re: [BIT-X.com] [NEW RATES] Earn Bitcoins by Posting | Signature Campaign on: January 31, 2015, 11:15:53 AM
I'm making an exception for you SnarlPill Smiley. The trust isn't a necessary factor.

0.04BTC has been sent to your BIT-X address: https://blockchain.info/tx/9c1d8a591bc6ae702288f21fd5ef7341098d67e8d367396346b1dea4e4a033fa

If you'd like, you can keep the signature and re-enrol at a later date when you can post again.

Thanks marco, you're a good & fair guy.

The Bit-X platform is an interesting one with a variety of cool features, and I will definitely be keeping tabs on it.

I appreciate the offer, and I will keep the Bit-X sig. up for free until I add another signature. I will probably add a personal signature next, but I will definitely reach out to you & the Bit-X campaign first if I join another organized campaign.

Thanks,
snarlpill

Hey marco,

I see payments were sent for the month of January. I'm sorry to say that I have had a busy month again and it was hard to find time to post here. Including the 6 posts you let me roll over from the last few days of December, I have made 40 posts total, below the 50 minimum posts for payment. Since it will probably be hard for me to post reliably in the near future, I will most likely take a break from signature campaigns. Is there anyway you could please pay me for the 40 posts made, and I will respectfully resign from your campaign? I thought it was handled & run very well by yourself, and I feel lucky to have been able to be a part of it even though I was unable to post dependably. Positive Trust will be left if you could please help me out with this and pay for the 40 posts made. If you cannot or would rather me post 10 more times to hit the minimum, please let me know and I will work with you on whatever.

Post where I re-enrolled for January: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=877765.msg9986636#msg9986636

Thanks, and sorry once again for not posting more frequently.
527  Economy / Goods / [SOLD] Swiss-Made Luminox Watch - Colormark Chronograph 3080 Series "Blackout" on: January 31, 2015, 10:16:46 AM
As the title says I'm selling a nice Luminox watch, the "Blackout" 3081.BO model from the Colormark Chronograph 3080 Series. Luminox first really hit the scene in 1994 when they released their original Navy SEAL watch & the Colormark 3050 Series. Chief Nick North, officer in charge of procurement for the Navy SEALs, worked with Luminox to develop a watch specifically designed for use under the most demanding conditions imaginable. Since then, Luminox has remained the requested watch for many elite military & law enforcement units around the world.

From the Luminox website about the Colormark Chronograph 3080 Series:
"The Colormark Chronograph is the pinnacle of the highly successful Colormark Navy SEAL Series. The look is more technical. So is the implementation of colored markings on black, white, blue, orange or green dials, with bezel markings and hands to match. Night illumination is color-coordinated mirroring the Colormark SEAL Series. The 44mm case, case back and unidirectional racheting bezel are all made of molded carbon-reinforced polymer. The crystal glass, a hardened and tempered mineral glass, is highly scratch resistant. The double-gasket, push-in crown and construction of the watch case ensure water resistance to 200 meters. The signature PU strap features the Luminox shield."

Some Specifications:
Article number: A.3081.BO
Serie: COLORMARK CHRONOGRAPH 3080 SERIES
Family: Sea
Function: Chrono, Date
Movement (technology): Quartz
Size of case diameter (mm): 44.00
Case material: Carbon reinforced PC
Case Bezel: Rotating 1-Way Diver
Case Back: Caseback with Screws

Crystal/Glass material: Hardened Mineral
Water resistance (m/ft/atm): 200 / 660 / 20
Strap/Bracelet material: Rubber / Silicone / PU
Illumination: Night Vision Tubes (25 years)

This watch is gently used and in great working, Like-New Condition! Includes only the watch and not the carrying case or instruction manual. I will post time-stamped photos of the exact watch soon, I'm just getting it posted now and have no idea what the interest will be.

Price: $150 of BTC, US Priority 2-Day Shipping included!    Currently:   (Willing to send internationally but probably with a few bucks added on to balance out higher shipping costs; will be reasonable though)

Would also consider trades for Silver, Gold, or physical crypto coins

Escrow is of course welcomed!

Watch out for lame scammers! I will only ask you to send payment to this address: 18EQt9KQCTz9vbpdLaLTf51k6GSNWK4Kd8

529  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] Bitcoin bullet Plaques on: January 30, 2015, 08:50:35 PM
Looks like some nice work you did there man, pretty cool. I would suggest listing the sizes of the pieces and/or taking a picture with something next to it for size comparison (like a BIC lighter or government fiat bill).

A piece of paper with your username and the date written on it in pictures always helps too and being willing to accept escrow (if requested) goes a long way, especially for a new user. Good Luck!
530  Other / Off-topic / Re: The Best/Cheapest Device for streaming Netflix?? on: January 29, 2015, 07:02:18 PM
Interesting. Yeah I had seen that in stores by the Rokus, and liked what I read about it + the price was nicer. However, from what I can tell it doesn't come with a remote, correct? I think you have to use your smartphone or tablet as a remote. My parents do have smartphones now, but just recently got them and I know they still aren't 100% comfortable with them. Especially to have to use their phone as a remote anytime they wanted to pause something/rewind/etc. I feel like that would be a pain in the ass for them and cancel out a lot of the ease and convenience that Netflix offers.

Thanks for your input bitspill! Let me know if you know anything different about the remote situation or if you can get a cheap one for it.
531  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [Selling] Various 1 oz. Silver Coins for Sale (Shipping Worldwide) on: January 29, 2015, 06:31:26 PM
I am def. interested and have been buying & selling a handful of silver coins lately. You said accepting all reasonable offers and multiple coin discount? I'm thinking about these 3:
2012 Canadian Silver Cougar in plastic capsule
2012 Australian Year of the Dragon colored coin (black dragon) in capsule
and 1 of the Canadian Maple Leafs or the Silver Eagle

Could you please PM me what price you could let those 3 go at together? I have a price in mind myself but still thinking about it.
Also- I have a few different physical crypto coins I would possibly be willing to trade, let me know if interested in that and I'll tell you what I can work with.

Thanks
532  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [Selling] Nickel 1 LTC Lealana Singles. FUNDED on: January 29, 2015, 05:32:17 PM
@cyclops-

I'm not sure if you've noticed or not, but apparently this thread is now in the "Archival" section (a section I didn't even know existed until I followed this thread into it the other day). A Mod must have moved your thread into it a couple days ago when you announced all of the coins had been sold.

And on a related note- cyclops is a great seller! I bought a few Lealana Bitcoins off of him before for great prices and was fully satisfied with the whole experience. Just bought 3 of these 1 LTC coins from him a few days ago and can't wait to get them! If you're on the fence about buying some- you'd better grab one of these sweet pieces of history for a great price while you still can!
533  Other / Off-topic / The Best/Cheapest Device for streaming Netflix?? on: January 29, 2015, 05:21:39 PM
Hey everybody,

Here's what's up. We have a Playstation 3 hooked up and watch Netflix through it daily, and love it. I would gladly use only Netflix and just pay their $7 a month over any other cable/satellite/television plans. So, needless to say- I am very satisfied with Netflix streaming.

I had been wanting to turn my parents on to Netflix for a while now, and planned to do so as a Christmas present for them- setting it up and paying the first few months or year for them. I knew they had a small Bluray player that, although they never used, had the capability to stream Netflix through it via WiFi connection. So on Christmas day I came over and had the intention of getting everything plugged in, connected, and creating a Netflix account for them, only to find out that I could not by any means pick up any wireless internet from their Bluray player. Even though it's supposedly WiFi capable, their Bluray will not work to pick up the signal to connect through.

So, basically I need to find a good device that is WiFi compatible and can stream Netflix for my parents. Preferably one that is simple and cheaper, as I don't have a ton of extra cash right now. I almost wish I could just get them a used Playstation 3, just because I know how simple & easy it is to shuffle through and play Netflix shows/movies with the Playstation controller. However, that would be overdoing it for them (a whole big PS3 system) and I can't afford to buy another PS3 at the moment.

From looking into this myself, I have been thinking about getting the "Roku 1" Streaming Device. It's $50 but seems very simple to set-up (just hook up via HDMI cable) and use (comes with a remote), and after I pay the $50 I wouldn't have to pay anything else; no monthly charges or anything like that for it just what I will be paying for their Netflix subscription- $7 a month.

Does anybody have any experience with the Roku 1, other Roku streaming devices, or have any advice to give on what would be a good & fair-priced solution to my problem? I appreciate any and all help with this matter, thanks in advance for any advice you can offer.

534  Economy / Collectibles / Re: WTS:GOLD/SILVER .999 CASH OUT FAST! RARE NORFEDs - LIVE PRICE-BIG ORDER DISCOUNT on: January 29, 2015, 12:09:39 PM
I've been diggin' some junk silver lately. Is there anyway you could come down to 0.015 BTC per pre-1964 US Quarter if I bought 4 or more? Let me know.
535  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: I'm giving away $50 in Bitcoin or a ticket to Inside Bitcoins Berling on: January 29, 2015, 11:44:46 AM
Very nice of you, I entered! Would love to be able to attend one of the Bitcoin conferences or meetups sometime. I will eventually though one way or another.
536  Economy / Auctions / Re: [AUCTION] 1 Casascius 2013 + 1 Titan BTC (1oz999Gold) on: January 29, 2015, 10:04:26 AM
If it went for 8 BTC it was still a pretty good deal to the buyer in my opinion, that's barely over Bitcoin + Gold spot prices at the moment.
Current Prices (from Amagi):  Gold: $1275 Oz.   Bitcoin: $222
$1275 1 Oz. Gold / $222 = 5.74 BTC + 2 loaded Bitcoins = 7.74 BTC total spot value

So all in all, that was a steal on a Casascius premium and the premium for the low mintage Titan One Gold.
537  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] Bitcoin Personal Wallet on: January 28, 2015, 10:36:28 PM
I'd probably be interested in one from the second batch as well, they look like they came out nice. Come to think of it, a Bitcoin "savings card" that looks like a credit card would be cool to be able to pull from my wallet and accept BTC payments in person with.

...of course, I would have to meet a fellow Bitcoiner IRL to be able to do that, but it's early still and I haven't made it to any meetups yet.
538  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Calling you forth, Coinographic on: January 27, 2015, 04:45:04 PM
Hmm, thank you for bringing this to the community's attention.

Not surprising to hear that news, in my opinion. I have noticed several red flags coming from Coinographic in the past few months. A shame too, because they have made some very fine physical crypto coins indeed.

This can now play out 2 ways- 1) Coinographic returns all customers' pre-order funds and rewards contest winners accordingly, making them whole. Then Coinographic has to shut down the shop for the time being, but is respected for not robbing customers on the way out the door, and most of us understand because we all know this isn't the strongest time for physical Bitcoin/crypto coin sales.

Or-

2) Coinographic did not expect this to happen (if it did happen- with the "big investor" pulling out) and has squandered away or otherwise mismanaged customers' pre-order funds and the money is gone. Realizing that the ship is sinking fast, Coinographic then makes a last ditch effort to extract anonymous liquid value (Kialara coins) from remaining stock before disappearing into the night.

I'm hoping this doesn't play out like option 2 and what seems like 9 out of 10 prior Bitcoin businesses with "investor" funds.

EDIT: I have nothing against Coinographic personally and am saddened to see this as the possible end result to what seemed like a passionate Bitcoin business in the beginning. But Coinographic- if you read this, please do not run off with the money of people who believed in you & your products and wanted to support your business.
539  Economy / Goods / Re: Selling Assorted Silver on: January 27, 2015, 01:51:12 AM
What kind of silver we talking here? Rounds, coins, bars, shot?

Where are you shipping from and how much would your shipping cost be for a couple ounces to the US?
540  Economy / Goods / Re: StickyBitcoins.com - Let your Metal FIAT do all the work. on: January 25, 2015, 09:27:19 PM
That's great man, such a simple & cheap mass marketing campaign. I wonder though how easy they are to pull off?
I like the phrase you chose for your few choice words- Money Without Banks. I think whatever phrase you put on there really needs to pack a punch and get the average person thinking about Bitcoin enough to look into it more. I think the bitcoin.org link is good to keep on the other side though, giving the people the first resource to look at for more information once they ask Why?

I will def. look into placing an order sometime if you keep them going for a bit.
