521  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NFTs in the Real World on: January 05, 2024, 04:05:32 AM
This is not going to happen anytime soon. I understand that people are a lot more excited about this, but the reality is that we are not going to see it grow even within crypto community again. If you look at the prices of NFT's, it has dropped significantly more than most big name coins, take the biggest for example, bitcoin and it's down like 30-40% right now from ATH price right now, calculate the NFT's and you will see that most of them are either fully gone or 90%+ gone, not many exists that still that close to their ATH as well.

I believe that we are going to see NFT get some more attention when the new bull starts, but that's just one situation and I do not think that it would stop anytime soon, we are going to end up seeing it not really be a big deal just yet. We should consider the situation as temporary and not invest into them when they go up. When it comes to other industries, NFT is just ignored, even mocked and not going to be used anywhere else.
522  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: January 05, 2024, 03:14:33 AM
The sad thing is, people do not really talk about Mitrovic, look at twitter or reddit or any other place, they are not talking about how AWESOME mitrovic is, nobody says that, he is a good player that is above that leagues level and that's normal. However, everyone is just praising Ronaldo for scoring this much, ignoring that he was given a team that was well above this leagues level, aside from maybe just one team, and playing against basically amateur level footballers.

Some of the goals he scored wouldn't even be scored at non-league levels to be fair, it's that easy. Don't get me wrong, I am not a Messi fan trying to hate on Ronaldo, Messi is playing in mls, even a worse league, he just taps the ball and it goes in, I am just saying do not overreact on Ronaldo, that's it.
523  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: January 04, 2024, 07:29:42 PM
Real Madrid has a team culture that just saw them get further and further every year, and they slowly transition the team so each member always sees further in UCL thanks to others. Like Modric is still part of that team, played against Mallorca, and he was also with the team that won 3 times in a row as well, all those years ago, but Jude? He is new, never seen that far in UCL, and he will play with players who saw far, and he will gain that experience too, in a few years, there will be others, who will learn from Jude.

It just a method that has worked for so long and I am sure that it is going to be something that is super major, and it will end up with someone that will benefit everyone, it is not going to change much.
524  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: January 04, 2024, 06:51:31 PM
I feel like it's basically obvious that Arsenal is gone, they are not going to win the title. Don't get me wrong, they are still quite close to the top, and it could still happen, but I really do not think that they will overturn anything. They have lost two very crucial games that they needed to make six points, if they did, they would be 46 points, leader of the league, and also just one point ahead of Liverpool but four points ahead of third Aston Villa, so that would put some distance.

Also, not a lot of people talk about this, but Aston Villa, a team nobody saw coming all year long, is second with just three points difference from the leader. If Liverpool loses one game and Aston Villa wins, they are tied for leadership. I honestly did not see that coming.
525  Economy / Speculation / Re: WSB Style Best Bitcoin Related Stock Picks for 2024 on: January 04, 2024, 05:42:22 PM
I believe that stocks are quite foreign to me, I am a bitcoin investor so why would I need stocks at all, doesn't really mean anything to me and I should be considering that as secondary type of investment and nothing good. I get that some people still do invest into them, but that doesn't mean I have to as well, I believe that we are going to end up with losing some money and even time with them.

I think it is much better if we keep on investing directly bitcoin itself, which means I will be making some good money. I hope that we could be considering bitcoin as the future of investment world, everyone all around the world should get into it, there is nothing shady about it's price, and it is as honest of an asset as it gets.
526  Economy / Speculation / Re: Historical price of Bitcoin New Year Day (1st January). on: January 04, 2024, 04:41:32 AM
I do agree that 100k is possible by next year, but at the same time I am not holding my breath over that.
I think we could be somewhere more realistic, like maybe 60 to 70k, barely near the ATH or barely over it. Then in 2025 we could see it grow up a lot more. I think that's the key factor here, we should be considering these type of changes as much as we possibly could. I know that people are not going to be all that convinced that we are going to stay "lower" this year, too many people are hyped about it, but I believe that given enough time, we are going to slow down, and we should be careful.

I think 2025 is a much better year for a big big bull run, like 150k+ maybe, and that is why I am going to keep accumulating as much as possible. I do not think that it will get too high this year, halving will usually make it stay for a while and go up after a while, that has been the case in the past, it did not go up right after, it waited a few more months before starting to go up.
527  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for January on: January 03, 2024, 08:25:12 PM
I mean technically speaking I have been trusting that it is the bull market for the past 4 months or so, which means that nothing really changed for me and I still think that it is doing fine right now, I do not really believe that much has changed right now. However, if we could start to trust that we are doing something better, then I could potentially see that it is going to  be a bit different, and that should be the most important part.

I understand that we are going to end up with something much better, and that is not always that easy, but we need to really consider this situation a bit different. I know that we are going to have some trouble if we are not careful, so even though I trust that it is the bull market, still be careful with it.
528  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: January 03, 2024, 06:21:12 PM
Girona definitely looks like the "favourites" and that is a weird feeling for sure. I mean to say that Girona is the favourites against Athletico Madrid is not something that I would guess I would ever say, in the past 40 years of me watching football, I have never seen them be better even once, and for the time being they are clearly the better team.

I can see ATM winning anyway, it is not like it would be impossible and they could definitely end up getting a win anyway, but that doesn't mean that it will happen, it just means that there is a possibility. They are still quite close to each other and we need to consider that as the most important part. I know that people could be a bit farther away from betting, because it is way too close to call.
529  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anyone can succeed as a bitcoin trader on: January 03, 2024, 04:58:23 AM
The deal with trading bitcoin is that you need to have iron clad emotional control if you want to be good, most people do not have that and they end up with a bad result because of it. I understand that we are going to live through some troubled times, but that doesn't mean that we should be considering that as a big option or a deal. I think the best thing we could do at this point is to realize that trading requires a lot of emotional ups and downs, and we need to be good at what we do to see that as a very valid option.

I hope that people could see this as a way to get better, and for that to work, we need to just assume that we are going to end up with a good approach of realizing things are not easy. I hope that we could focus on what we could do, and I will just make sure that I do not feel any fear, happiness, anxiety, panic, excitement, whatever feeling basically. Because if you feel any of them, they may trigger a loss for you if you lose control.
530  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My btc full year plan 2024 on: January 03, 2024, 03:18:05 AM
I do agree that passing 50k this year is definitely possible, it's really such an easy way to get there, the drops do not make sense to me, and staying between 40k and 50k all year long makes absolutely no sense to me at all. Anyone who knows bitcoin would know that it's a lot more volatile than that and would not have that.

I would say that going under 40k could be possible as well in any other year, but this is the halving year and that means it will probably not go under 40k. So, only volatility that would make sense to me would be over 50k, and I am not even considering over 60k as something that would not be possible, I think that could very well be possible this year as well, we just need to wait and see. Remember, last time we had the halving year at 2020, we were near the ATH price of previous bull run, which was 20k, so we were either just a bit above, or around those levels. Meaning, something close to 70k is not impossible for us this year, and I will definitely be hoping for that.
531  Economy / Economics / Re: How will the BRICS currency influence Bitcoin? on: January 03, 2024, 02:51:51 AM
Honestly, BRICS are not doing anything that would be beneficial for other nations, that's the trouble with it. Argentina already left, and I am not sure if many would continue if they have trouble with it.

You need to realize, some nations care about their freedom way more than money, like UK for example, they weren't even using Euro, the pound starling that they were using was still there, and they still went out of EU for example, and that brexit did cause them a lot of presidents and a lot of inflation as well and financially a lot of trouble as well. This is why I think BRICS will have a ton of trouble with them eventually, and the foundation has to be quite strong to keep it going, otherwise it will be a failed attempt.
532  Economy / Economics / Re: 2024 & Prediction of World War III - Effect on Cryptocurrencies on: January 02, 2024, 08:14:33 PM
This whole "world war three" topics never made sense to me, I do not think that it's going to happen. Or even if it is happening, it is not really what we think it will look like. We have seen the world go to war with guns and weapons and tanks so forth, we should not wait for something like that anymore. It's more about sanctions and such. Right now there are two wars around the world that gets attention (in reality there are more) which is Ukraine vs Russia and Israel vs Palestine.

We could say that they are all minor compared to a world war, Ukraine is handling their own situation against Russia, and Israel is just dominating and destroying all of Gazza, and that's why I do not think that it could ever turn into a world war, that is just way too big. We would have nuclear weapons talking, it's scary to think, but that's the reality, which is why we should not really consider this global, these are all minor stuff and not really involving more than two nations personally, sure maybe support, but not personally there to fight.
533  Economy / Economics / Re: First time? A company suing because people aren't buying its products!!! on: January 02, 2024, 07:28:54 PM
They are not "suing people because people are not buying their products", that is a false statement and that is what they are suing people over as well, that's the difference. You can just go ahead and not buy from them, that is nothing wrong and you are free to do that, it's the defamation that they are suing against, saying that they are supporting Israel when Malaysian McDonalds may not (which is what they claim) is the problem.

Not buying a burger from them is fine and they can't sue you for that obviously, you know this, OP is very well aware, but saying "you are supporting Israel" when they are not, is a lie, and a company could definitely sue someone for lying, and this lie made them lose 1.3 million, so of course they would take action against a lie that made them lose money. There is nothing wrong with that, it should be done, if any group of people end up lying about anything, the organizations or companies who is lied about, could open defamation case against them.
534  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Single or accumulation, which one do you prefer when it comes to sport betting on: January 02, 2024, 06:48:23 PM
I do agree that accumulation is the better one. I just feel like it is a lot more fun to have that kind of odds, we are talking about very very low chance to win, like 10% or lesser, and that makes it more fun for me because you do not have to win each one, you just need to win a certain amount and you make a profit.

I can lose 5 times in a row, and win on sixth and I am still in profit, which is why it's so great. Plus when the odds are that low, you think that it's like rare that you would win, but that's usually on favourites. You could have teams that have 1.20 to win, that is almost like a sure thing, but bundle 10 of them together and you have a great return on your bet, so it's really a fun thing to bet on, and I like doing that.
535  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: January 02, 2024, 05:00:22 PM
Since we are in January now, it could get very complicated very quickly. Right now, Mbappe is officially allowed to talk to other teams in other leagues, namely Real Madrid is possible. I believe that we are not going to end up with anything that would be crazy to handle, it should be considered a big deal and we could potentially do something that should be considered as a threat to PSG right now.

I mean think about it, Mbappe is allowed to go to Madrid, and have a chat about the potential contract offer, and that could very well be the main reason why he doesn't stay there and there is nothing that PSG could do about it neither, they just have to accept this fact now and they still have to play him for another five or so months.
536  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your New Year's resolution? on: January 02, 2024, 02:59:32 PM
I do not have many that would be related to gambling to be fair, I could say "keep doing the same thing" would be a lot better. I think it's quite great that we are doing something nice with our money, if we are promising ourselves that we are going to be careful, that would definitely be a good one, but that doesn't mean that we are going to do all that great, we just promise ourselves that we are going to do well enough.

I hope that people could do that. I promised myself years ago that I would do well enough, and I did follow that one up and in return I have done that, I said I won't spend too much and I didn't spend too much. I just promise myself that I will keep doing that every year to be fair and I manage it every year.
537  Economy / Speculation / Re: 112 days waiting for bitcoin halving!! on: January 01, 2024, 08:48:01 PM
I do believe that having this little amount of time left is such a wonderful feeling, not everyone feels the same way because some of us did not manage to invest enough, me included, we all obviously want to invest more and more, and sometimes we just can't. But at the same time, I believe that the best thing to do would be making sure that we are handling it all the way better.

I hope that people could end up with something that will benefit us all, which would be halving, because when you have halving, that means the price will usually go up. I get that it is not directly higher the next day, but it is quite high eventually. I am guessing that by the end of this year (feels weird to even say we are in a new year) we should consider that it is going to be going up. But it will not be right away, it will wait until the end of the year before we could get there, so we should all be careful about it and do what we think would be the best for us all.
538  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which one is better, parlay or teaser bet? on: January 01, 2024, 07:11:32 PM
For be parlay without a doubt. I mean that doesn't mean that there is a correct answer to this, there is absolutely no correct answer for anything like this, but I just believe that there are people who should consider what we are doing and how we could make money from such things as well. I get that we are talking about a way to make some money and parlay is a great way to make more money so that is my personal choice.

However, that doesn't mean that it's the correct choice for everyone, some prefer parlay like me, some prefer single bets and whatever is the way that you could make some money then I believe that we are going to end up with a good way of making money from them, and that's not really that much of a troubled idea at all.
539  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto investment vs real estate investment : Which one more dependable? on: December 31, 2023, 09:22:42 PM
"Dependable" would probably show real estate investment, in my nation you could spend about 100k to buy a land, and another 100k to build a house, and sell it for nearly 500k.

That has been always the case for a long time, the only reason why not everyone doing this is the fact that taxes do cut up a ton of your budget, so you need to build it as a company and not a person, and not everyone has enough funds to start a 200k dollars worth company, and the ones who can either starts a real estate construction business, or they get a loan and can't wait until all houses are sold to repay the loan, the only people who do have it in cash, and willing to do it, already doing it and making money hand over fist anyway. It's dependable, it's 100% guaranteed income, but it is a lot of money.
540  Other / Archival / Re: Generational wealth on: December 31, 2023, 03:05:54 PM
I would say that getting a generational wealth means having an income that would allow next generations not to work. I think real estate is the best way to go with that, so if you are a pharmacist, you could buy the shop that you are working in, that would not be easy and it would cost you a lot, but that is what you are asking, generational wealth is built like that.

So if you have a house, and the shop that you work in, as close to each other as possible, that would benefit you, but also it would mean that your children would be able to rent them both, and live greatly off them. If you can do those, then next step would be getting another shop or house, so they would rent, that is how you build it, that is the roadmap, but it is definitely very very tough.
