1441  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: one mistake that crypto beginners should be aware of ? on: April 05, 2023, 08:40:40 PM
Crypto is filled with scammers so do not trust anyone no matter how legit they look. Crypto was created so that you do not have to trust someone else, it's decentralized for a purpose, so if anyone asks you for your money, for any reason at all, no matter what they say, either do not give the money if you are smart enough, but even if you do then consider that money as fully gone and not coming back.

This isn't just straight up giving it to a person, consider brand new investments like that as well, if you are not buying bitcoin on good exchange and holding it, all other moves are risks and you should be careful about it and many people lost billions because they weren't careful.
1442  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Before You Go All In on: April 05, 2023, 08:16:30 PM
This is a good idea, if you end up with some sort of steady income, that means even if you lose all of your trading capital, then you would be able to live off from the salary that you have. I mean I have supported this for so long, I have talked about this for many years as well. I said that long term investment and income are the two most important things anyone can do. Have a job, and put some of that into bitcoin and that would be the coolest way to live.

After you done both those, save some aside for trading as well and then trade with it, if it goes to zero then it won't matter because you still have an income and you still have bitcoin aside anyway.
1443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Solana hit $40 this year? on: April 05, 2023, 06:44:15 PM
As I see this was opened just a few weeks ago, and saw so much interest from people so quickly as well. This alone shows that there is indeed a lot of interest towards SOL, which could mean that maybe it would. But, we need to remember that we are talking about double the price, so you have to also ask yourself, do you think we could see bitcoin at 50k+ this year?

If your answer is yes, then we may consider SOL to be 40+ dollars as well. I am not saying they are going to be exactly the same, of course there could be some differences but most of the time market moves together. So if BTC can reach 50k+ this year, then SOL can reach 40+ dollars this year as well.
1444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Surprise back!!!! on: April 05, 2023, 06:08:09 PM
Do not get hopeful about it, Elon will take it away anyway, and he will say it was just a temporary joke, and he will get love and attention from people which he loves, and then when he takes it away people will tell him he caused them to lose money and he will get hate, and then he will go on the attack and do even worse and price will crash.

Don't do it, just avoid it, doge is not a coin to invest and it is not fundamentally strong and it will crash as long as people do not understand the concept of it. I understand that you want to be part of something like this, but I am telling you it will hurt you more than it will help you and not worth it.
1445  Other / Off-topic / Re: Prepare for the life when you get old on: April 05, 2023, 05:19:10 PM
I think it is important to remember that not having any money is not a shameful thing, and it happens to so many people in the world. Of course we should try to be richer, but at the same time we should look for peace in our life as well. Can I get richer? Can I be so much richer in 10 years that I would be going to New York and Paris and Milan for summer shopping?

I can, I really can, or at least I can try to, I can have a goal to do that. How? Simply just gather all my friends, and apply to all types of banks all together, and sell all the assets we have, buy a plot of land in a good place, build an apartment with 20-40 houses, sell them each, and be rich, and do this some more times and you are rich. Why not do it?

Because, a million things would go wrong and make us upset and have a worse life, richer but more angry and less happy. Sometimes money and lack of it, is not the end of the world.
1446  Economy / Economics / Re: Binance - a new problem on the horizon? on: April 04, 2023, 09:19:04 PM
I am sick and tired of new and bigger news trying to bash binance and it makes absolutely no change neither. Binance is as strong as it has ever been and no matter how much they attack it, it just stands tall.

Obviously when all the nations of the world gets together to attack it, eventually something will happen but it just doesn't really feel like a good idea to me at all. It's obvious that we shouldn't be doing any of this, and Binance should be let go and freely managed, all these news and attacks are all a bad idea and shouldn't be done. I hope that we won't see it go any worse but whatever is asked from Binance, CZ should reconsider it, and get ease of mind.
1447  Economy / Economics / Re: Hong Kong - Embracing crypto, new acceptance mode, $100 mln raiser on: April 04, 2023, 08:42:43 PM
I would say that if you can focus like this to improve the crypto acceptance with a business and funding style, it gets a lot better. Because you are convincing a lot of people to start a web3 startup, if they do, then there are dozens even hundreds of people who work in those companies eventually, and then maybe thousands, and all their families as well.

This all comes down to convincing a lot of people to at least have a bit of bitcoin. This is just local, think of this globally done in most nations, that would be as good as it gets and that's what we need as well. I hope that it will get better eventually but meanwhile this is good locally.
1448  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you consider Bitcoin the best asset in the world? on: April 04, 2023, 08:15:08 PM
I do, but millions don't and that is the situation. I can't really blame the situation on other people neither, it's obvious that we can't just expect the whole world to think of it as the best asset.

Plus, it depends on your life situation as well, someone that is already rich may not consider it as an issue, and may not invest into bitcoin at all, for that person the best asset is the way they got rich, however they got rich, it's better to keep reinvesting into that, it would make sense. For me, it is bitcoin but I can understand how life could take me away from crypto and make me invest into something else as well, that is why I wouldn't expect everyone to think like I do.
1449  Economy / Speculation / Re: Possibilities and chances ! on: April 04, 2023, 07:26:43 PM
I understand that the fear of another inflation situation does make people worry about the world, and I understand the fear of that, it makes sense. But that doesn't mean that we should be always fearful of this situation. We could always overcome the inflation with bitcoin, and that alone is good enough, the only problem is most of the time our salaries shrink at the face of inflation, I am not living as rich as 2019.

Because since 2020 there has been high inflation and prices didn't drop neither, so I am making about the same money, and yet I am spending a lot more, that's why life is harder obviously but thanks to bitcoin going up, I overcame that issue as well.
1450  Economy / Speculation / Re: The US government sold 9800 bitcoin on March 14 on: April 03, 2023, 08:42:25 PM
If you really want to find any corruption, they cashed out 215 million in btc, and spent fee of 215k as well. That's too much, in any case that is too much, it could have been a lot cheaper and they decided not to, probably something happened there but not really worthy enough for anyone big, doesn't worthy to risk your career for such small return, but definitely someone did something there.

In any case, dude was a bad guy and his coins definitely deserves top be cashed out and sold. It is not just about the fact that he was a "liberal idea" guy, he literally hired killers for money, that's good enough to put someone in jail if you ask me, no reason keep him rich.
1451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What if its falls! Will altcoin survive? on: April 03, 2023, 08:12:33 PM
I would guess that as long as bitcoin survives, all the coins around it will survive, maybe they will change, one would go and another would come, but crypto as a space will be safe and nothing will happen. I have to say that there is nothing wrong with buying bitcoin if you are not entirely certain about the altcoin world, obviously it is not going to be as profitable as finding a good token and making 100x with it, that rarely happens and you would never have that.

But, the feeling of security knowing that you invested into the greatest asset humanity has ever created is enough, you do not need to risk anything more than that and just be happy about that is enough.
1452  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: April 03, 2023, 07:06:42 PM
There isn't any scenario where Real would win the league this year, in fact the league is basically over already. Barcelona got it this year, but they won basically nothing else, it was really a decent season at best and nothing more.

In order to continue, they still face a lot of financial trouble and there is no way they can go on like this, they need to figure out a way to make this work and right now it doesn't look like it will, it is really looking quite terrible in the end for them financially, even though they will be the champions. Just focus on how you could make a profit and that way they may continue, and no idea how they can do that, maybe sell a few players I guess?
1453  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Turkish Super League 2022/23 Season on: April 03, 2023, 06:26:23 PM
Definitely a derby game, that much is certain. The hype was there, the game was very chaotic, there were a few scenes were players got angry at each other, there were controversy and many other things as well. I have to say that as a person who is not even from there and not fans of these teams, just betting interested, I would say this was the type of game that I really like to see.

This happens with England and La Liga as well, when teams have famous games, like city vs united, or Madrid vs Barcelona type of games and it becomes so much entertaining to watch. I hope that it gets better and better, but I fear that Galatasaray just took the lead for good with this.
1454  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: April 03, 2023, 05:26:35 AM
Good god, they finally fired Potter. That was something they should have done long time ago and to be fair that was something they shouldn2t even hire at the first place. Tuchel is managing Bayern, and Chelsea is managerless, guess which one is doing better.

I feel like they have to hire someone that is big, because the yare spending unreal amounts of money for the club and in order to justify that you have to put someone that is equally good to manage such a team. No manager that has never managed a big team before, could end up starting from a 500+ million euro team on day one, that is not something you could have asked from Potter, and it obviously showed eventually.
1455  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: April 01, 2023, 06:45:22 PM
Not like even if Marseille ended up winning, that would mean somehow that PSG would lose enough to give up the title. It was obvious from the start that PSG would be the champions and that would go on like that. I do not really support this idea of keeping the run going, in the end we are talking about a season where everyone is playing like it is going to be a big deal, but then it ends up being the most ordinary thing ever and PSG wins again.

I get that everyone goes "what if!!" every year, and Lille did it one year, that was all nice and all, but that doesn't mean that we are going to end up seeing that again, it would be too much to expect from Marseille I believe.
1456  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: April 01, 2023, 04:16:50 PM
I highly doubt that it would be Potters fault to lose in champions league, I mean Chelsea is not a good enough team to win it if you ask me. Even after spending that much (because they overpaid on most players) they are not really good enough to face real or city for example, and that's their trouble, because they can't be winning those games and Potter failed at the league so there is no good side left. If he somehow magically manages to win it?

Then he might still get fired for how the team looked all year, no team that wins UCL should be this terrible in the league, but I am pretty sure that he would lose this turn, or the next at most.
1457  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: March 31, 2023, 06:53:36 PM
Maybe the biggest game of the season is coming up very soon tomorrow. I really can't wait to watch it, it is going to be amazing to watch even as a non-German person living far away, I can't imagine all the Germans who like football, even if you are not fan of these two teams, if you are fan of football then this is going to be the game to watch.

I hope that it is a very entertaining match and not just a single side domination by any team. Something like a 3-3 would be amazing to see wouldn't it? I already placed my bet but I think it would be lovely to see a draw so another game would be the decider for the title in the end and not this one, it would be good to see that.
1458  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Experience of failure and success can help us control the emotions. on: March 31, 2023, 06:15:36 PM
It is important to learn how to get better overtime with these things, but I am not entirely sure how easy it will be. Most people end up with a result that is either good or bad but they move on afterwards without really caring about it.

I basically do not believe that should be the case, they should look back both on their losses but also their winnings and see what they did wrong or right to make sure they can learn from it and grow. With that type of mindset they should be doing a lot better in the future without a doubt. I tried doing that for a long time, to be fair I know what is wrong before even I do it now, and yet sometimes still can't stop myself from doing it, be better than me.
1459  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is ageing and old people part of bitcoin? on: March 31, 2023, 05:44:59 PM
Slowly but I hear they are getting in. I have a friend who works in a local exchange, and by local I mean they make billions in profit, so they are quite large but obviously not in top 10, they are in top 50. He works in marketing so he knows a thing or two about the people who join, and because there is KYC we are talking about people who actually give their information. He talks about the fact that 90% is people who are under 40 years old, and over 50% is under 35 years old as well, so that is the majority that part is guaranteed.

But just 3-4 years ago, people who were 60+ had just 1% or less, and today they have over 7% of the accounts, which is quite large, and good to see.
1460  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are We Going To See $30,000 Price Before the End of This week on: March 31, 2023, 05:06:11 PM
I think it is quite obvious that we are once again at a stagnant market right now. Which happens and that's fine, it's not really a big deal because market can't be all upwards or downwards all the time, yes we are volatile normally but not every single day of the year. So, we just need to wait around a bit to see what it will do, I believe that it's going alright and we shouldn't be worried that it's staying stable.

Obviously many people will want to see it do a lot better, and I am one of those people as well, 30k+ would have been awesome and not seeing that so far does upset a lot of people but as long as we are not going down, I am fine with the situation.
