1481  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: March 26, 2023, 09:33:40 PM
Napoli becoming the team with titles and maradona, to the team that bankrupted and horrible, to the team that is having one of the most dominant seasons ever, all span of 30 years or so give or take is a huge story. I am not saying make a movie about it, but it is definitely worthy of a docuseries, at least 10 episodes long.

All the people that came in and left, not just the players, but more like even the managers and the owners and directors, all changed so much during that time. They do look like a roadmap to success for any team that doesn't have a lot of money. They literally spend less than most clubs spend one a single transfer for all of the club and still managed to be so great.
1482  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: March 26, 2023, 08:30:04 PM
Maybe the idea was that someone else would have hired Tuchel if we waited until the summer and they were worried about that which made them hire him right away and that required them to fire Nagelsmann right away? That could be a legit reason because during the summer there would have been a million teams that would have wanted him, on the other hand when we are talking about right now, most teams already have a manager and not hiring anyone so they wouldn't be a competition to hire Tuchel.

I think it is smart to do it right now, this way they were able to get him without any worry and probably offered him less than what they would have otherwise during the summer.
1483  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the dangers of mixer/tumblers on: March 25, 2023, 09:42:54 PM
I guess that there isn't really any "danger" if you are a regular person, it doesn't matter to me nor anyone of you.

However, the bad people in the world, cartels, terrorists, mafia, whatever you can think of could start using it, or maybe some of them already uses it and that's a danger to the government because it's their job to stop them. That doesn't change anything in my life, I still live the same exact life as I was living, but it makes the job of government a bit harder because now it's not cash they need to follow, it's bitcoin and other crypto, and if they are using mixers then it is hard to follow that cash. Hence, it's a risky business.
1484  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Taking loan for investment can be life threatening on: March 25, 2023, 12:32:16 PM
Having an understanding of what loans are for would make people a lot more richer, because loans are amazing when they are used correctly and it could get you insanely rich. If you use a loan to make an investment, then you could get richer, it is not a bad idea and you should do it if the return will be good, but if that investment is just buying bitcoin and doing nothing else, then you won't be able to pay it back.

If you have a land and take a loan to invest into that land and build a house, and sell it, then you could make a profit from it. That's why investments are important and loans are a great way to increase your profits for sure.
1485  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 24, 2023, 09:30:33 PM
Tuchel will most probably get that job. First he was great with Dortmund, and then he was great with Chelsea and got the UCL with them even when they weren't that great. Now that if he comes to Bayern which everyone expects them to make a deal, then I guess he could be good enough to get them the title. I am not saying that will be this year considering he will be joining so late.

But, next season and specially after making some changes in the roster based on what he thinks he needs for his system to work, I think he can get them back to dominating everything. This league issue is a big one, they are too used to winning it and even though we all want to see someone else win it, it's not good for the team. So they needed this change without a doubt.
1486  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Guys!! I was finally able to buy my home thanks to Bitcoin!!! on: March 24, 2023, 08:36:05 PM
These type of stories are the reason why I am so much in love with bitcoin. It is obvious that this has been the dream of this person and he managed to do it and that is what all that matters. I am not saying that we will all be able to do it, of course not everyone will be able to do it, but at the end of the day there will be some people who will do it.

Changing your entire life thanks to this is a big marvel and amazing story and definitely something that can't be undone. I believe that we shouldn't really be worried about anything close to this, it had to be something that is a bit more important to you personally and then put a goal there, and work until you reach your target.
1487  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: March 24, 2023, 06:28:04 PM
I think it is clear that this wasn't really about the results. I get that they are not leading the league right now but there were even worse times, the start of the season was so bad that we could have seen him be fired there as well and he wasn't.

I think this was more about the relationships he had in the team, both players and management saw him as someone who needs to go. He is a great "manager" level person, an executive, a great football director if given the chance, but when it comes to actual coaching and tactics, I feel like he was not there for personal relations and that is a big part of it, football is not just playing the game, it is also keeping everyone happy at the same time. If you get results but everyone hates you, you could still get fired.
1488  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin (BTC) Targeting $10,000,000 Amid Rapid Global Crypto Adoption on: March 23, 2023, 08:34:35 PM
These type of calculations are usually just funny to me, and I understand that people try to put some type of belief in it and I get that but that doesn't mean that it's true, it's usually quite wrong and will not really work out in the end.

I hope that people could realize that and could stay away from these type of dreamy stuff because if it doesn't happen the way you want, then you could be too much upset over it and miss out the realistic targets that could make you richer. I won't really invest based on these type of goals, I invest because I believe it will be a lot of money in the distant future but at the same time we are not going to end up with anything bad neither.
1489  Economy / Economics / Re: FTX Leaderboards: Someone lost $120m... on: March 23, 2023, 07:29:40 PM
There are people who have so much money that they could be losing a lot but that is probably some cold wallet or something. I guess that it wasn't just some random person investing 120 million into Luna and losing it, not that many people in the entire world that has 120+ million dollars, it's like a few thousand people at best, and we all know who they are, this is just too much of a big amount, and when it goes missing you would know about it or hear about it and can't hide it.

This means that it must be something like a binance wallet with everyone's Luna in type of thing, not binance maybe but I think it was a wallet of a place and not some single person.
1490  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much return are we expecting next bull run? on: March 23, 2023, 06:40:42 PM
Depends on where you take it from, because I have seen it vary a lot. Like for example just the 2021 bull run could be considered a big example for this, I have seen it take it at 4k because in 2020 the lowest was 4k, then there are ones who took it at 10k because it was 10k after the halving and they were talking about how much it increased after the halving, and there were ones who took it at 20k-30k range because that is where it was when 2020 was ending, so 2021 should be considered where 2020 ended.

See, you can see 3 different places and 3 different calculations. Considering it was 68k, then you could say it increased 17x, or 7x or 2.5x, see the difference? They are huge.
1491  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will pump soon? Lower interest rates in june. on: March 23, 2023, 06:11:56 PM
Possibly, but that requires a proof though, are we sure that's going to happen? If the interest rates are lower in June, then 100% sure that the price of bitcoin will go up, but if it is not lower and they keep it steady then we are not going to get any type of increase in bitcoin price, not because of this at least, it could still go up for another reason.

The FEDs decided to increase even now, so I can't really feel like they will drop it in June, the best case in my mind is not to move it any higher, they may keep it as it is, but not drop it. I have to say even increasing it is not out of question yet, but keeping it what it is could be the most likely result.
1492  Economy / Speculation / Re: BitMEX Founder Arthur Hayes Predicts Bitcoin To Reach $1 Million Within 2-3 Year on: March 23, 2023, 04:50:42 PM
That's waaaay too much but I understand his optimistic approach. He is the founder of Bitmex, what was he suppose to say, we are going down? Or we are going to be 50k in 3 years? That's not title worthy prediction, that would not even get you through the door for any article to be fair, the best thing to say is a few million dollars, that way you would actually get some attention.

He could have gone even further, say that we will be 10+ million dollars in 10 years, which people would believe because it is 10 years and when we are talking about that much further ahead, nobody really knows what's going to happen, it could be 100k, it could be 10m, who knows?
1493  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many BTC needed for retirement in 10 years? on: March 22, 2023, 07:29:30 PM
I would guess 1 bitcoin would be enough, depends on where you live but if you know what you are doing then in any place on earth should be good for 1 bitcoin retirement. I believe that in 10 years bitcoin will be at least over 500k, and possibly closer to 1 million. Doesn't matter where you live, it could ne New York, it could be London, those would be very tough to live on a million but if you buy a place and rent it out and live in a smaller place then maybe you could do it.

However, aside from those very expensive cities around the world (there are a few) then rest of the world would be easy, you could buy like 10 houses in most places with that kind of money.
1494  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: March 22, 2023, 06:20:10 PM
The fact that there are 12 points difference between Barcelona and Real Madrid tells us the story of the season thus far. Real Madrid has been doing well in the UCL just like they always do, but when they are bad in the league that proves that they are not as good as they used to be, like last year they were better and I do not mean like they were better than Barcelona, that is easy because Barcelona was bad, it is not about standings, it's about how many points they collected by this time, and it was probably higher.

So, overall they are worse this year and just because of this fact I feel like they may not end up winning the UCL title this year, not again at least.
1495  Economy / Economics / Re: Fed on brink of fifth(?) round of quantitative easing on: March 21, 2023, 09:14:15 PM
I think this is just getting at a different level these days. I mean yeah we used to have the same thing as well and I understood the money printing stuff, it made sense and I understand it, it wasn't really that weird. These days when you look at it over half of the money ever printed by the USA has been printed in the last 15-20 years, over half, that means for 200+ years they printed as much as they printed in the last 15 years.

I always understood "a bit" but this is getting insane levels, like what's next printing another 10 trillion in the next 10 years? That can't go on, it is not sustainable and it would create a huge chaos in the world if they keep it up.
1496  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2022/2023 on: March 21, 2023, 08:39:33 PM
The freekick goal looked amazing, I will agree to that but we also have to accept the fact that he shot right at the wall and the wall just got separated, if they stayed without even moving, he wouldn't have scored at all, it's that simple, just not move and he misses that shot.

But at the end of the day, Ronaldo keeps scoring and thanks to that Al Nasr is still following Al Ittihad very closely, one loss or a draw from Al Ittihad and we get Al Nasr as the leader once again and after that I do not think that they would be giving that back ever again after that happens. It's obvious that the top two teams will win as much as possible, maybe even win all the remaining games, because they are just that much better than everyone else.
1497  Economy / Economics / Re: Americans go to Mexico for medicals to cut costs. on: March 21, 2023, 07:09:10 PM
They go to Canada as well if they are closer to that border, basically they can travel to Europe, get the medication they need or surgery they need, and go back to USA and they would still be fine. That is the end result of being the nation that spends the most money on healthcare and still being worse than almost anyone else in the world.

You can claim whatever you want for the reason, but the reason is that politicians do not want to fix it since it's a too big of a trouble to tackle. There are few like Bernie, but people never vote for those people so it ended up being something terrible for them like this, hence they will keep traveling for many more decades until they finally elect someone who will fix it.
1498  Economy / Economics / Re: Has anyone felt lost in pursuit of financial freedom ? on: March 21, 2023, 06:32:59 PM
This isn't a forever feeling, it is a feeling that you get time to time and then you get that pursuit hype once again.

I have periods where I think "I am not going to live again, let me spend some to make myself happy" this month has been one of those months, I have visited to theatres and plays and watched concerts and all that ate good food because for the past 1.5 years or so so many bad things happened to me, countless, I am still happy because even worse could happen and even happens to others every single day, people DIE everyday, I am at least alive, that is good enough, but I just wanted to be happy. But in a month or two, I will go back to pursuing financial freedom again.
1499  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏆 The Emirates FA Cup - Season 2022/2023 on: March 20, 2023, 08:54:19 PM
When you have a team that basically got used to scoring and playing amazing without a striker like Haaland, and then you add someone like that, things suddenly become so much easier for you, like it's somehow cheating without actually cheating. Think about it, it's like basically running at a very high altitude which lacks oxygen, and then start to compete at lower altitude, you would have a lot more oxygen compared to everyone else.

City already won so much without Haaland, what was it 10 cups in 6 years or something? That's without a proper striket at all, and now they have Haaland, a guy who scored about 40-50 goals already, that's basically the best they could have ever hoped for.
1500  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin rising from banking collapse...Permanent or new Fed stops ahead? on: March 20, 2023, 08:31:40 PM
I would guess that FED is busy with all this banking thing and they won't be really ready to tackle the inflation or anything else just yet. Doesn't mean they are not going to do it eventually, they will, but that doesn't change the fact that they will be busy for a while. Looking at the crisis they have on their hands right now, I am guessing that it will take a while before they can charge the situation ahead and tackle it.

I believe that bitcoin will be on the rise for a while longer, not forever of course and this year won't end with a new all time high if you ask me, but we will end with a better price than we started there is absolutely no doubt about that at all.
