If Barcelona conditions like the previous season, surely I am sure Barcelona will win later. But unfortunately this season is very much a change, both for Barcelona and Inter. Barcelona hasn't even been on a positive trend, while Inter are very good right now. A draw is very likely to occur in this match.

Despite their poor start to the season, Camp Nou has remained a fortress and Barcelona are unlikely to lose there. The fans and atmosphere appears to elevate the performance of the team to a level they can not match when on the road.

Inter are also a very good side and just had a strong win against Lazio. Conte is doing a very impressive job over at Italy.
5202  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: September 26, 2019, 02:32:34 PM
hmm
injuries or not, I will have a look at the first 15 minutes of the game and than decide to make a bet or not, still thinking that Sevilla can win this game with a handicap +1

The odds would be modified 15 minutes into the game depending on where the tides of the game flows. So the game might not be so attractive for a single bet if the odds drop lower.
I would expect Sevilla to win the game though, with their performances I've watched, they are a very good side on their day.
5203  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: September 26, 2019, 02:27:03 PM
...

That may be the case, but for some of the top teams in England, the league cup and the Carabao cup could be the best chance for a title this season. City and Liverpool are on levels above anyone else and would likely compete for the league.
We saw Tottenham drop out in the last round and the Spurs fans continue their wait for a title in many years.
5204  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: September 25, 2019, 07:45:44 AM
Hope this lets us focus on Premier League.

Manchester City all but debunked that idea last season. A team does not stand a better chance of winning one competition of it loses in another, if anything it has a psychological effect on the team for the next couple of weeks.

City won all three domestic titles, Liverpool won the UCL despite competing for the league title till the very last day.
5205  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: September 25, 2019, 07:31:39 AM

From the moment I figured he was substituted at halftime I knew something was probably, I really hope it is not serious, and you never know taking him out could just have been a precaution, I hope that was the case. Messi is too much of a price to pay for 3 points.

The coach in his press conference after the match, said it was a 'discomfort', and they didn't want to risk it, that's why he was taken off. He was probably also jetlagged as he was in Italy for the FIFA Thebest ceremony, just a night before the match. He shouldn't have started.

Dembele is back, hopefully he'd stick around to ease the pressure this time around.

Ansu Fati can also help out, if he gets more playing time. I understand he's young and needs to be properly managed, but he produces chances when he plays.
Another tough match away next, every away matche is tough for Barcelona this season. I won't be expecting lots of goals from the fixture, under 2.5 perhaps.

And we can always optimize further given more time.

The ability to adjust with changing circumstances is what most subscribers are looking for.
I don't usually check how much time it takes my withdrawal or deposits to reflect and only check on it much later. But others may be quite different and may need it at specific times.
I wouldn't mind the withdrawal fees being lowered marginally though.
5207  Other / Meta / Re: Effect of signature bans on: September 24, 2019, 08:38:52 AM
I've used that phrase before, but never for people who participate with regular Bitcoin-based campaigns.
Bounty hunters who participate in altcoin campaigns do usually for that description. They'll end up working weeks for something that's barely even worth anything in the end.
They're also the biggest spammers usually.

This became quite evident very recently. At the boom of the ICO market when Bitcoin rallied to it's current all time high, there were lots of altcoin signatures whose payments were very substantial when they hit the market and even better a few weeks or months later. I can even think of some of the top of my head.

I can't speak for the altcoin market now, as I don't really participate or follow their discussions. But if the altcoin general value is anything to go by, it's not a very good period.

Does Van Dijk stand a chance of winning the main prize?

He did stand a chance. But Messi takes the award tonight, and deservedly so, in my opinion. His stats were incredible to normal standards, and good to 'Messi standards'.
This was the best chance of the award coming to the EPL for a long time.

There's still the ballon d'or coming up, they sometimes do not pick same winners as #thebest.
5209  Other / Meta / Re: Should a post be deleted from poor grammar? on: September 23, 2019, 08:02:03 PM
A friend of mine complained that his posts were deleted because is grammar was poorly constructed

There is no way for your friend to have come to that conclusion as reason for post deletion is not given on the message sent out.
So, I guess.he was aware that his post had poor grammar and hence felt that was the reason, and he should consider working on it.
But perfect grammar is not necessary for communication on the forum, and would not get you censored. He should also review his content quality.
5210  Other / Meta / Re: The end of an era for me: Leaving Signature Campaign on: September 23, 2019, 05:25:49 PM
Even good posters will decrease their post quality if managers are not strictly manage after choosing them into campaigns.

I highly doubt this, 'good posters' do not need incentives to make quality contributions. True that rules, like 'posts in XXX board is compulsory' could affect their posting shouldn't get take up such campaigns. But with lots of research, that could still give out quality posts in such scenarios.
5211  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: September 22, 2019, 04:26:36 PM
The top of teams have been playing 'hot potato' with to the top spot on the log, as it has been changing ever so often, and it's going to change again tonight in the Sevilla - Real Madrid fixture.
One top team which hasn't got on top in a while is Barcelona, and after another disappointing away outing yesterday, there are lots of causes for concern. Barcelona have scored the most goals (joint) so far this season, and also conceded (joint) the most. The lack of consistency would likely cost the club later on in the season.
5212  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: September 22, 2019, 04:22:11 PM
But the much more interesting match is being held between Aston Villa and Arsenal. Though Arsenal has a better ball possesion, Aston are on 1-0 lead and the Arsenal team are getting much more frustrated  with two yellow cards before 40th minute.

When the underdogs get something to hold onto in a match, they usually dig their teeth in and hang on for as long as they can. It makes it more difficult for the opponents to penetrate. And the longer the match wears on, the more frustrated they would get.
However, it only takes a moment of magic to breakthrough.

Chelsea on the other hand will need more than a single moment of magic, as they are two goals down already.
5213  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What are Merits to you? on: September 22, 2019, 11:52:41 AM
Initially, I saw merits as unnecessary (and oddly unattainable) since it wasn't a necessity for one to get to jr member rank and wear a signature. Then came the enhanced newbie requirements, which demoted my account.
At that point the 'one merit requirement' seemed an almost insurmountable task.
But I took on the challenge and realized that with a little effort, you would get noticed

I opened this account 2 weeks ago after I got demoted back to newbie on my previous account, also made a thread to mark the date;

As most would likely guess I had (still have) an account which I was using for bounties, long story short, I got demoted, had lots of spam, and felt like the problem to the forum (I kinda was).

Hopefully, in this second trial, both I and the other members can benefit. As I would do the best I can with the little I have. And if possible, grow on that little.
Let's go.

P. S.  This thread would be locked as it is not to stimulate a response, but for my personal motivation.

I can say I have been of little help to people this far, but that doesn't compare to how much help I have received in the space of time.
I have learnt more in two weeks trying to contribute than I did in months spamming the forum.

There's still so much to learn, and there are members who of course achieved far more in same or lesser time.
But it feels good to have a little hint that you are welcome to the community.

My journey has actually taught me lots more about cryptocurrency than I would have made the effort to learn if the one merit requirement wasn't put in place. I didn't settle for one, I wanted two and then three and so on.
I am still a long way off in the list of merited users, but I'm also a a little way off from were I was before.

I would attempt to advice newbies even though in sort of one myself; do not make quality posts simply to get noticed, it's fulfilling to be helpful to someone else and you would also be developing yourself in the process. Merits is just like a 'pat in the back' for a job (already) well done.
5214  Economy / Reputation / Re: What if anyone copy-pasting the same message over and over? on: September 20, 2019, 08:07:08 PM
Is it considered some kind of plagiarism?
Is it only spam?

I do not think it can be considered as plagiarism. But it is definitely spam and against the forum rules as @actmyname stated above.

Besides the fact reports are unhandled for illegal activity (selling accounts with KYC), in which case is this user?
How do I need to report this one to get some mod attention?

Best way to report is to include the evidence, as links. This would make the check much easier for the mods. You already got their attention when they check your report.
5215  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: September 20, 2019, 07:31:19 PM
If I am forced to lean either way, I would go in the opposite direction and choose Bournemouth to win the match.

Bournemouth are currently leading by a goal. Josh king also just had a goal disallowed (25 mins) after the VAR review adjudged him to have been offside, still plenty of football left to play.
Nathan Ake scored the opener after just ten mins
5216  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin up to $20,000 before 2020? on: September 20, 2019, 05:16:30 PM
It seems like a realistic prediction, IMO.

I agree. Much more realistic than the $200k predictions in one year and those who try to predict the price in five or ten years time.
If this happens, it would be surpassing the current all time high, I was very optimistic of that happening a few months ago, but not so much now. It's very possible, but by my calculations, I do not think we would reach that mark this year.
5217  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Nigeria going cashless on: September 20, 2019, 04:35:17 PM
it won't really affect people who are still using cash for daily consumption.

But it could affect the merchants receiving the payments. If they accrued higher than the maximum amount and have a policy of depositing into the bank, they would be paying a charge on the excess amount daily - https://twitter.com/cenbank/status/1174982489288237058?s=19
This may force them to use incentives to coerce customers to pay using the internet or POS.

...

It technically affects everyone who handles lots of cash daily.
I really do not mind much, as the world is going cash less already. But such policies, forcing the citizens down a path, does not sit well with me. Instead of penalizing cash transactions, why not reward cashless ones? The citizens shouldn't bear the cost of transition.
5218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How many crypto exchanges are really required? on: September 20, 2019, 03:20:57 PM
When we invest in other projects and its token got listed in one of the new exchange, we have to create account with that exchange to trade those tokens.

I believe you're referring to ICOs IEOs or STOs, since the coins are not yet listed at the point of investing.
This is largely an unregulated field, and while more exchanges may not be required, the developers are not targeting any particular problem to solve, rather they are mostly looking for a way to profit from the market.

Stick to the reputable exchanges (centralized or DEXes).
Do not submit your personal information to just any website.
5219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There has never been a worse time to hold altcoins on: September 20, 2019, 03:14:46 PM
Crypto enthusiasts have the tendency to lump altcoins together. I have been trading altcoins for almost two years, and some projects have been steadily giving me profits, even during the bear period of BTC, it's almost about finding the right project and sticking to it.

ICOs are largely passed and new developers would struggle to raise funds for their projects, but already existing ones with a good use case offers investors options in revenue and also it's application
5220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency to be used in Money laundering and Terrorism? on: September 20, 2019, 02:48:16 PM
If all the government regulated all the exchanges then its easy to track the bitcoin since its not completely anonymous by doing this good people can benefits and the crime activities can be completely stopped.

I am having a hard time deciding if you are being sarcastic or not. Crime will not be completely stopped if bitcoin transactions were regulated, it is not the major source of financial crimes.
Some would even argue that the transparency of blockchain transactions makes it a more difficult means of money laundering.
