541  Economy / Collectibles / Re: ◯ PRICE DROP!! :) Pure .999 Silver Coins!- 'Goxxed For The Last Time'◯ on: January 25, 2015, 12:30:47 PM
Just wanted to pop back in here and say that I received my coin days ago and love it! The shipment was quick for international and the coin arrived in great condition!

The Silver plated coin I received is very nice and a steal of a deal for the price! I recommend it to anyone who is into physical crypto coins and on a budget- grab one for cheap before the last ones sell out! And I will be back in due time for the solid .999 version of course!

Here's some quick pics, already had camera and gloves out to take pictures of some bullion coins for eBay when I received this package.

542  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] Nickel 1 LTC Lealana Singles. FUNDED on: January 25, 2015, 02:37:23 AM
Are these the Series 1 holograms? Funded by smoothie/Lealana and not the Buyer Funded model?

Going to PM an offer on a few of them after this post.

Thanks
543  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] Coins - "Bullion Not Bits" Anti-BTC coins $3.50 on: January 23, 2015, 03:34:55 PM
Why do you want btc when you are agaignst it?!

I'm not against Bitcoin. I am pro-Bitcoin and pro-Precious Metals. I will be selling PM bullion, coins, and physical Bitcoins from my eBay store. Some other odd people on BitcoinTalk, such as myself, may also find this coin interesting. Possibly someone looking through PM bullion on my eBay store would see this coin and my physical Bitcoins and be motivated to learn more, who knows.

Even though these coins somewhat shit on Bitcoin in their message, I thought they were still cool to grab a couple of- as a reminder of the early days of Bitcoin still and because I like nearly all Bitcoin-related coins. I also enjoy PM bullion as I've said, and even though I'm a strong supporter of Bitcoin, it is interesting to see other opinions. Obviously many of you on here may not share my view on this and might not want any part of this coin, and that's understandable. That's your opinion- which you're entitled to.
544  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] Coins - "Bullion Not Bits" Anti-BTC coins $3.50 on: January 23, 2015, 03:10:41 PM
That's understandable. Like I said, I found it interesting to see a different perspective on things and see Bitcoin mentioned either way, even if it was bad. They say there's no such thing as bad publicity, and by mentioning BTC on their coin it will surely get an amount of outsiders looking into Bitcoin and learning about it.

I'm hopefully going to be selling many different PM coins & bullion bars, as well as some copper rounds & physical Bitcoins on the new eBay account I created. I have a good little variety to get started but I've been trying to stock up on more coins recently for this purpose. These were some of the copper rounds I picked up recently to sell and just figured I would see if anybody here was weirdly interested in them like I was since they are BTC-related. No damage intended.

My next listing on eBay is going to be for '2' 1/2 oz. Silver Mexican Libertad coins if anybody would be interested in purchasing them for BTC on here instead, let me know.
545  Economy / Collectibles / [WTS] Coins - "Bullion Not Bits" Anti-BTC coins $3.50 on: January 23, 2015, 01:25:33 PM
Hey everybody,

I stumbled across some of these a while ago and thought they were interesting as I am personally into both Precious Metal bullion and Bitcoin. The makers of the coin however seem to not be big fans of Bitcoin, basically saying that PMs are a real investment while Bitcoin is not. Personally I thought that was funny, because I like Bitcoin and it has definitely outperformed copper (which the coins are made of) so far as an investment vehicle and currency.

The obverse features a scale with Bitcoin (or representation of) on one side, and a US Silver Eagle coin, one of the most widely recognized silver bullion coins in the world, on the other side. The "Bullion" side is weighed down much further, representing PM bullion as a heavier/more solid investment than Bitcoin. At the top is stamped "Bullion Not Bits" and at the bottom- "Safety In Numbers".

The reverse features a fist rising above a shield and family with the words "Protect The Future" at the top and "Real Metal" "Real Value" at the bottom. It is also stamped- "1 Oz. AVDP .999 Copper" indicating its material, purity, and weight.

This is the 6th and final release of a 6 coin series, "Safety In Numbers" depicting preparation for future disasters, or when the "Shit Hits The Fan (SHTF)" scenarios as some preppers like to call it. Here is an official statement regarding the series:
"Future survival could depend on actions taken today. The question is not "will the wheels fall off?" but "when the wheels do fall off, how badly off are we?" No one knows the answers to these questions, however though leaders and conservative practitioners are preparing for multiple outcomes. Our path is "Safety in Numbers" and the long term practice of preparing now to be ready for a future that could look radically different from the way it is today."

And here is the official statement regarding the 6th coin "Bullion Not Bits":
"Bullion Not Bits: When it's time to bug out are you going to depend on your electric car to get you there? Baby, when the lights go out, the Internet goes out, and what does that mean?  Bitcoins vanish like they never even existed. And it doesn't have to get that crazy,  Chinese hackers attack American infrastructure, military, utilities and economic centers on a daily basis. Who knows how secure Bitcoins really are?  They’re created by anonymous masterminds. Is there a backdoor in the software? Do their Minions have a plan to empty the coffers? Is there a virus to delete all the ownership records? Bullion in a secure and accessible location is a whole lot more useful than a bunch of bits and bytes."
(^ A bit paranoid, conspiratorial, and ignorant, I know)

Even though these coins somewhat shit on Bitcoin in their message, I thought they were still cool to grab a couple of- as a reminder of the early days of Bitcoin still and because I like nearly all Bitcoin-related coins. I also enjoy PM bullion as I've said, and even though I'm a strong supporter of Bitcoin, it is interesting to see other opinions. Obviously many of you on here may not share my view on this and might not want any part of this coin, and that's understandable. That's your opinion- which you're entitled to.

Here are some pictures:

Price:
$3.50/ per coin

I currently have 19 of these

Shipping:
$3/ per US order, no matter how many

$5/ per International order, but would prob. have to adjust slightly higher if buying more coins/weight (I'm really aiming to be affordable for worldwide members though)

Payment Address:
1Cmy8TyXrG5WHEGaE7po6U9YJBjueYGGus

To Order:
Take the listed BTC value for $3.50 x number of coins you want to purchase, then add in either $3 or $5 for shipping (depending on location). Current adjusted market rates are listed above next to the $USD figures. Send the total amount for your order to the Bitcoin address listed above, then post your transaction id here in the thread (or PM for privacy), and PM me your shipping details. I should have all orders shipped out same day, but within 1 day guaranteed.

Escrow is of course accepted if desired.

I also have a few of these listed on eBay if you're not wanting to spend your BTC while the price is lower. Just PM or post if interested in that and I'll get you the link.
546  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice | Most Popular/Trusted Bitcoin Game | 1% Edge | Active Chat | Free BTC on: January 23, 2015, 08:57:37 AM
Damn, haven't played for a little while and just sent a small deposit to my bookmarked deposit address. Then hopped on the site to realize that deposit addresses have been changed. Will my deposit to the old address get forwarded to my account? It was only a small deposit of 0.0099 but it always sucks losing any amount of money without being able to lose it playing dice at least, ha.

EDIT: A few minutes of time answered my question for me; my deposit to old address was forwarded through.

Looks like it can be really nasty  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y0yjATpkDxM
Can also be dangerous if the person is not wearing glasses.

Lol, really cool  Roll Eyes

Lol indeed. That guy is clearly just hating life right about then.

Off Topic but related in a strange way- I always thought a ridiculous prank would be to empty out a creme-filled donut and just Stuff it with hair. That first big bite taken by the unsuspecting would be horrendous, but I've always hated getting hair in my mouth/food.

I am saving this thread, sounds awesome!

Same.  Amazing...  and it gave me a much needed laugh after a long, shitty day at work.  Cool
549  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] 1 kilo of .999+ silver shot *WORLD WIDE SHIPPING NOW* on: January 14, 2015, 11:30:42 PM
I just have to post to remind myself to buy some from you soon, seems to be the cheapest way of stacking up on some ounces of silver. Get paid tomorrow and am thinking of trying to stock up on some Bitcoin at a great price as well. I have long-term faith in the technology, I def. only see a potential buying opportunity at the moment rather than a reason to panic.
550  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin WesternUnion like service on: January 14, 2015, 09:10:01 PM
Bitcoin is the Bitcoin equivalent of Western Union...  That is one of the main reasons it is so awesome & needed- send 5 cents or 5 million dollars worth for pennies or free even anywhere in the world. BTC transactions are essentially instant, and if the receiver has accounts set up with exchanges or trades with people in his area, he should be able to exchange it for his local currency or spend it in a short amount of time- hopefully quick enough to offset any major price volatility. I really think the Bitcoin price will stabilize over time, it is still very early for this innovative currency.

I enjoy spending Bitcoin and have found tons of options available for pretty much any item you would need, and getting easier everyday.
551  Economy / Collectibles / Re: 0.05 BTC MicroSoul Physical Bitcoins 1/2 Troy Ounce Fine Silver on: January 13, 2015, 09:14:58 PM
Yeah, that is a major bummer about them getting taken by Chinese customs. Good luck with that, I hope you're able to track the silver coins down and/or appeal any decisions they make trying to take your property. I'm sorry I do not have any personal experience in that situation or advice to offer.

I'd be interested in buying one of the remaining 40, so I will keep my eyes out for the thread. Also I PM'd you a question about my 0.01s that should be in your mailbox somewhere.

The new project idea with engraved private key and destroying the coin to access sounds intriguing, especially if it is a different method than most- i.e. removing a hologram.
552  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [4 Pre-Orders Left] 5oz .999 Silver NastyFans Minted Seats on: January 10, 2015, 03:13:55 AM
We all know most of the circle of people ....

Indeed.  Maybe we should have our own sub-forum for Physical Bitcoin Enthusiasts.

Was lurking (looking at coins and whatnot) and had to say "ditto" as well!  Cheesy I've thought that would be a cool idea for a while, physical Bitcoin sub for new releases and trading. Have been digging the 5 oz. NastyFans Seats for a minute now but out of my price range at the moment. Proud owner of some 1 g's though!

On a side note with those lame scammers though...   who, if anyone, falls for that? Og has a Bright Green avatar, + 1000 green positive trust, huge signature, 5 coins under name, etc.   People who are not detail-oriented and/or observant? Maybe nobody falls for it. I guess from the scammer's viewpoint there is nothing to lose eh?
553  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [ANN] Ravenbit NODE physical coin on: January 07, 2015, 08:49:47 PM
For those of you still subscribed to this thread, Coindesk review is here: http://www.coindesk.com/review-ravenbit-keeps-physical-bitcoin-meme-alive/
Just a 3.5? That is an insult, you should sue them for making you look bad. Grin
No, but seriously, it's a nice review, even though I disagree with the rating and that the market is limited. I have bought so many coins lately.

I agree with both sentiments of yours, bitcoininformation. I think they should have given the Node coin a higher rating, and 1 of only 2 "cons" they had listed was- "Coin form factor not the most practical way to keep a bitcoin cold wallet"    But...   you're reviewing a physical Bitcoin wallet...   So I hope they at least list that as a "con" for every physical Bitcoin wallet they review from now on.

Also disagree with them saying the physical Bitcoin market is limited, and they used their past review article from September as an example. Except- all of the coins reviewed in that article are still available...  most of them straight from the manufacturer even (not the Casascius coins, obv.).

But all things aside- Congrats on the good review and publication, Tom and RavenBit! I have all of your coins so far except for the new silver Node, and love each one of them! Keep up the good work! Will get a fine silver Node as soon as I can as well.
554  Other / Obsolete (selling) / Re: Selling Some Alt Coins on: January 07, 2015, 01:52:07 AM
Just wanted to post to say Good Luck with your sale, and that all of these coins are really sweet and nicely made. I have some of the CI Doge's and a couple different Cryptolator coins, and the level of quality on all of them is top notch. The holograms on both are also some of the best out of the current crypto coins, in my opinion.

Also, to any crypto coin collectors or those just starting- The Crypto Imperator L.E. Dogecoins and Cryptolator .999 Silver Unchained Series are both officially sold out by the makers, so you might want to grab them up now for a good price while you can! 100 and 140 coins are both very small runs, which will almost insure a profit for yourself if you re-sell in the future!
555  Economy / Collectibles / Re: ◯ PRICE DROP!! :) Pure .999 Silver Coins!- 'Goxxed For The Last Time'◯ on: January 07, 2015, 01:30:03 AM
Now sold out of silver gox coins Smiley Pop me a message if you are interested in any from the next run of coins I'll be ordering.. I think off the top of my head the numbers are 35+

I have a limited amount of plated accessible if anyone is interested (due to moving).

I just checked this thread and saw the price of the silver plated coins in the OP. The solid silver is one of the coins that have been on my To-Buy list for a minute now (along with one of your UNO bars), but at the moment I have to double-down on saving for a second bundle-of-joy to be joining our little family in April!  However, I can afford to spend £5 worth of BTC for one of the silver plated (+ Intl. shipping to US), and I'm itching to buy a new coin!

Please let me know if you still have one of the plated you could sell, and if so please shoot me a PM with a Bitcoin address & quote for £5 equivalent. It will be promptly paid and shipping details will be provided!

I'm sure the plated version still looks beautiful, and it will be a nice stand-in/reminder for myself to get the solid version ASAP.

Thanks!
556  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ++ Steal My Bitcoin Wallet & Rob Me Blind! ++ on: January 04, 2015, 03:34:07 AM
Cool idea; don't have time to check it out at the moment but posting here to follow along with it when I can.
I also agree that the power of cryptographically secure mathematics is one of the best advertisements for Bitcoin.

Also, I've said this before, but knocking the amount of another's savings = not cool. 10 BTC as life savings is much better than 0 BTC, and without knowing his life story how can you judge him based off that amount? Many people are not able to save anything- either they don't make enough to save after paying the bills, or possibly they take care of sick and/or aging family members and that eats up their extra money, or....  a thousand other reasons. Best to not judge another at all, it has no sort of positive effect overall.

Oh, and everyone that has mocked his savings of 10 BTC, please sign a message from your address containing greater than 10 BTC...

Sorry, I know I got off on a bit of a tangent here, but that shit really bugs me.
557  Economy / Collectibles / Re: 1/2oz Lunar Goat .9999 Gold Coin with Free Worldwide Shipping on: January 02, 2015, 01:28:44 AM

According to the face of the coin from your own picture, that is 1/20 oz. of gold, not a 1/2 oz.  BIG difference.

See here for reference: http://mobile.apmex.com/product/8975/2003-1-20-oz-gold-year-of-the-goat-lunar-coin-series-i

I certainly hope you wouldn't be trying to pass off 1/20 of an ounce as a half ounce of gold.
558  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Double spent on: January 01, 2015, 01:54:50 AM

It is really confusing, what are the double spends they show at blockchain?
https://blockchain.info/double-spends

Oh wow, I don't know what to say about those. There's many of them, and all happened recently which means in theory there should be many more.

I know double-spending is not actually possible with Bitcoin, but this may be beyond my level of understanding. DannyHamilton, could you please break this down and explain to me and the beginners that are present? I feel like I'm probably just misunderstanding something here.

EDIT: DannyHamilton's response beat my post asking him for clarification. Well done sir, you are on it and thank you for the detailed explanation!
559  Economy / Services / Re: [BIT-X.com] Earn Bitcoins by Posting | Signature Campaign on: December 30, 2014, 07:54:10 PM
I take pride in my response time haha! You will need to give me a BIT-X.com account deposit address.

Hey, I would too! Quick responses mean a lot in the sometimes-shady world of signature campaigns, when oftentimes a campaign sounds too good to be true and members' questions go unanswered for weeks, before they are left high and dry with no payment. So naturally, a paying campaign with quick responses will be more popular and rise above the rest!

Will setup an account and post my deposit address Asap!
560  Economy / Services / Re: [BIT-X.com] Earn Bitcoins by Posting | Signature Campaign on: December 30, 2014, 07:42:58 PM
Sweet, thanks man. Quick response time too! Have I missed something and need to put a Bit-X deposit address down instead of my BTC address? If so, no problem. Hopping in the shower and then I can create an account and post my deposit address.
