541  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My First Advice To Beginner Traders on: October 04, 2023, 11:48:16 AM
But this is what I can say - stop thinking of becoming traders if we can't afford to risk and are not willing to lose money.
It is indeed a falsehood to get rich quickly in trading but it was impossible to be there either if we do nothing and risking. For beginners, never underestimate the market and never be confident enough that we have learned today, then think that we can earn by tomorrow. Instead, expect mistakes and losses but make this a lesson to learn more and be wise in making decisions.
542  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 04, 2023, 10:52:32 AM

Possible to see Steph, CP3, Wiggins, Klay and Green, very small line up but if the offense will click it's also
a good running game play for this starting unit.

Dang, one point guard and two shooting guards at a time! The offense is definitely good but the defense will surely be a problem for the Warriors if this is their starting lineup. Surprisingly, three of these five players are averaging 5 rebounds per game which may be a good point for this lineup.

For me, I would bench Klay and make Jonathan Kuminga a starter in the forward position because of his athleticism, size, and skill.
I don't see anything big in the changes though, Kuminga might start as well since Draymond is out for 4-5 weeks because of injuries and then Looney in the center position. There are times that they used this kind of starting 5 before with Poole, so they could do the rotation like before. So this is just normal for them to see one point guard and 2 shooting guards and it has been effective for them if I may say. And speaking of Kuminga, I think he will again be part of the future of the Warriors, this kid is slowly developing into one of the best NBA player and there are reports that he is still growing and close to 7'0'' now.

I'm glad the Warriors kept Kuminga. Though he wasn't very useful last playoffs, I still believe in this player as the athleticism is already there. He just needs to mature more and play with great chemistry with the team. He's a young talent that they can develop. Hopefully, he won't act like Poole once he improves his play.

Well, losing Draymond, although temporarily, is really huge, but there's still time for him to come back.

I'm sure the Warriors won't struggle too much.
543  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 95% of NFTs have a market cap of zero on: October 03, 2023, 09:52:41 PM
NFT projects are just passing by, they gain hype shortly and end up. Those who invest in these projects are hopeless now, they spend money buying the arts but now, it turns like just a sort of collection. We can't expect them either to rise again like before and there are no investors who have the courage to spend their money and lose it. Of course, why we should do that in the first place if we know that there is a very slim chance to make a profit from them?
NFTs are dying, they never rise back nor do we have to expect it.
544  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Ryan Garcia vs Oscar Duarte (December 2) on: October 03, 2023, 01:20:36 PM
Finally, a fighter who matches the style of Ryan Garcia. When Garcia fought Tank Davis, he showed his limitations to the public. With his opponent Oscar Duarte, I think he'll be able to match up well, and most likely, he will dominate again.

I hope to see him bounce back, as it was reported before his fight with Tank Davis that he had faced a mental problem. Maybe that problem came back when he was defeated via KO by Tank Davis. So, this upcoming fight of his is really interesting, as we will find out if he is still the same guy.
545  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are You Tax Efficient With Your Gambling Habbits? on: October 03, 2023, 10:38:30 AM
This is assuming that you live in a country in which the law is respected and the level of corruption is on the low side, as there are many countries out there in which this is not the case and the majority of the money that you pay on taxes is being stolen by corrupt politicians and rich people, in that case I think there is a compelling argument to try to reduce the taxes that you pay as much as possible by the use of any loophole that may exist on the law.

There’s no such country exists which corruption is very low. US government has lot of big time corruption from politicians yet they have a very strict implementation on how to regulate taxes with its citizens.

It’s more on how the government properly regulate all the taxes of their citizens by having a department that is very strict on hunting taxes of each individual. It’s very hard to do this on poor country with limited resources but corruption is the real reason why some country failed to implement taxes properly.

There should be a scale from low to high, and I believe there are countries with low corruption, particularly those countries whose economies aren't very progressive or have relatively few people living in them, or they are not fully developed like the developed countries. The more a country becomes developed, the more money will flow in from businesses and people who enjoy their jobs. Since the pursuit of money is often the root cause of corruption, it's to be expected that corruption will exist.

What we read online, which reports the most corrupt or least corrupt countries, may not always be accurate, as powerful countries can sometimes manipulate information to protect their image or influence the perception of reality.
546  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Inspired Me To Invest In Bitcoin. on: October 02, 2023, 09:50:25 PM
Generally, we are inspired because we see some people have shown their money and earn huge profits on social media. There is traction now which is far different from the past because if we are able to recall 10 years ago, only a few people see this have a futuristic aspect that could help us improve our living while the majority are rejecting it. But for now, we heard a lot of testimonies and commendations that grab attention and fuel us to invest believing that it also happens to us.
547  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do I need a mentor in my bitcoin journey. on: October 02, 2023, 09:35:39 PM
I have made a bold decision to start my bitcoin journey. But just like every a new born baby needs close care and attention to grow I really don't want to make a mistake in any thing I am doing. I have this question to ask.
''Is it advisable to to have a mentor who I can always go to as a newbie in the crypto space or I should rely all my knowledge on things I read online for my growth.
I could say that learning about Bitcoin is easy as we can a lot of information online but some of this information is not true. We can find it by ourselves but having a mentor is not a bad idea either provided that you never have to pay him/her huge. The advantage of having a mentor is to make you learn faster and guide you directly to what you want to know but still, the results may vary depending on how you understand the market and your decision-making.
But if I were you, I'd rather not spend money for having a mentor instead, I use it to invest in Bitcoin. Beside, through experience, we can learn more.
548  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 02, 2023, 11:23:36 AM
I don't know why this surprised you since rumors of Blazers trading Jrue has started right after the Dame trade and Celtics has been mentioned as top destination mainly because of his defensive abilities.
I think what surprised me the most was Robert Williams III being traded considering how good he played last year. I thought he was going to be part of the Celtics team wearing a green jersey for a long time in his career since it's hard to find a center who can play like him, especially on the defensive end. It looks like general manager Brad Stevens is aiming for the "win now" motto. Their roster is probably the best one today when we talk about back-court players. JB and JT can save their energy if they have a defensive guard in their team, not that I am underestimating Marcus Smart when he was there.
I actually predicted that it would be the Bulls who would try to get Jrue Holiday since they are the ones who are desperately looking for a guard who can make plays.
Anyway, the trade is done so there's no use thinking about it anymore. But that's a sweet offer by the Celtics that the Trail Blazers would have a hard time declining. Cheesy

I think the decision was just right as they had already acquired a versatile big which is Porzingis. I looked at their current roster  and I can see that they have Centers that could fill the gap, so I think the management are ensuring to improve their offense, as more offensive threat from the team is more effective.

https://www.espn.ph/nba/team/roster/_/name/bos/boston-celtics

Here; the centers are

Neemias Queta
Kristaps Porzingis
Al Horford.

I think they are still loaded.
549  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Oguni - October 12 on: October 01, 2023, 12:37:18 PM

Though the possible fight with Casimero has him as the challenger, it would be more attractive if they could bring this fight to the US. More audience means more money, and if Inoue really wants to become more popular, he should consider fighting more in the US.

That's the only fight if he wins, he will no longer be doubted by all of the fans because he will just simply prove himself as the best boxer he really is, opposite to whatever Casimero is claiming. I doubt that he will accept the fight in the US because it won't be that good and it should be in Japan because that was what Casimero was saying back then. he even fights Inoue in Japan even if the referee is his father. That would be a great challenge for Casimero, I really hope to see that fight after Inoue is done against Tapales.

No doubt Casimero would fight Inoue in Japan because that is not new to Casimero. Remember, he was called a "road warrior" as he has gone to different countries to challenge their champions. My concern is Inoue's promising future; if he wants to be well-recognized, then he shouldn't be just fighting in Japan.

Most of the big fights happen in the US, so while Inoue is still in his prime, he has to take advantage of the opportunities in front of him.

Here are the highest-grossing PPV boxing events. I believe most of the fights are in the US.

https://worldsportsweekly.com/top-ten-highest-grossing-ppv-boxing-fights-of-all-time

Mayweather vs. Pacquiao still tops the list with $410 million in PPV sales. If Inoue is indeed compared to Manny Pacquiao, then I hope not only his achievements in terms of championships will increase but, more significantly, his earnings in boxing as well.

According to this article. https://thesportslite.com/net-worth/naoya-inoue-net-worth-salary-endorsements-cars-houses-properties-charities-etc/
Inoue's net worth in 2023 is,
Quote
Naoya Inoue’s current net worth is around $5 million as of 2023.

That could increase if he try to go out of his comfort zone.
550  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 29, 2023, 01:14:00 PM
It's good though that Giannis blurted out to the media on what he want to do or what he needs. And so the Bucks responded with getting Lillard for Giannis and for sure every Buck fan are very happy on the development. At least Giannis will have every reason to stay with Milwaukee and wiling to work out with Dame and win more championships.

Very smart move by Giannis, and he was very honest with the management. Even if that trade did not happen, the outcome of the season is still a big factor affecting Giannis' decision. For now, the hype is very high, but we shouldn't be too complacent, as not all superstars who play with each other create great chemistry. It's undeniable that they have the talent already, but chemistry is still in question. Who will be the main man? Will it be Lillard or still Giannis?

Yes, it could be like Giannis telling it to the management what he wants, without telling to them directly. As he just spoke it to several podcasts and he reiterate it over and over again. And for sure the Management have heard it already and maybe even before that, they could have been looking for some great players in the trade block to get in order to satisfy Giannis.

As for the main man, it doesn't matter though, for sure Lillard knows that this is Giannis team. The most important thing is that they could join up and cooperate which each other as this could be the closest that Lillard could be a NBA champion and then Giannis and the Bucks could be the next team to established a dynasty with them teaming up. Maybe one or two ring will be good enough for the both of them.

I believe Lillard does not have the same characteristics as LeBron James and Kyrie Irving. For me, I believe he is a humble player like Curry. If Lillard is more effective as the team captain, I think Giannis would be okay with that. I heard his interview before; he just wants to win a championship, as individually, he is already fulfilled. This is the first time the Bucks are joined by a legit superstar. By saying that, I mean a player who led his previous team before he joined, and that is Lillard, as he was the main man in Portland for years.

Therefore, this is a challenging situation for both, as the fans are hyping it up, expecting they'll be a championship contender team.

552  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you believe Technical Analysis? on: September 29, 2023, 10:16:11 AM
Candlestick and price charts help to make predictions but it doesn't mean that they are going to be 100% accurate or right. Knowing TA is somewhat our advantage in trading but this makes us think that we are going to win the volatility of the market and predict it right because no matter what good we are in TA, things can't be changed as the market remains unpredictable. Well, at least we have some idea of what possibly be going next and are able to anticipate it. We can't make it perfectly but at least we are close to making the right decisions.
553  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How did Ripple (XRP) become so popular and blow up in price? on: September 29, 2023, 08:46:18 AM
Although it has received a lot of controversy in this space, we have all witnessed the journey and position it created, I think up to now XRP is also much stronger than many other leading cryptocurrencies in terms of features. And about the story of potential price increase that many people pose, but the hypothesis that I find is quite limited in terms of market size, I personally believe that the huge development potential creates a large crypto market and brings Strong growth comes directly from internal projects.
After winning the SEC issue, holders have been more positive about this project to see it rise high again. XRP still dominates some altcoins not because of its popularity and fame, it is because many people use this due to it's low transaction fees which give options to most traders. Might not be seeing it rise again but can be possible when the market turns bullish. Holders become strong because of trust and confidence that this project won't disappoint them. Indeed some developments may come and people are rooting on how it affects the price positively.
554  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel when you look at your first Bitcoin wallet? on: September 28, 2023, 09:36:39 PM
Just look at the attitude of the person who bought the pizza to answer your question. Money in the crypto market is uncertain because you can suddenly become rich or poor from your investment only you should not feel the loss. I bought a lot of other coins a few years ago including bitcoin which would have made me rich now but i sold them at small profit. Actually it is better not to follow the past time of life and we should make a big dividend in future. However bitcoin may be $100k in the future so buy at the right time. We should be more active and always take risk with crypto because risk can give you big profits.
That guy who bought pizza at that time never thought that the price of Bitcoin would go like this. If we are able to ask that person again, he probably in regrets of spending that amount. For me, it was not a mistake to spend or sell our Bitcoin in the past, it is just about to happen because that is meant to be. It was not regretful because we still make a profit it unless we just throw it away. We sell them for some reasons and besides, holding it forever doesn't help the market to grow.
555  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading bots... do they work? on: September 28, 2023, 09:11:02 PM
Trading bots does work for spot trading and even futures trading. you dont need to do anything after its set up, the bot will take trades for you and make profits or losses depending on the market situation at that time. you just need to be sure that the reviews from previous users are good before you purchase if you want to buy or subscribe to the service. if at anytime you notice the bot is doing things beyond the normal then i think you should stop it and close trade manually.
Generally, trading bots depend on your capability as a trader. And it only works efficiently if you properly set it up like what you did in actual trading. It doesn't matter if that trading bot has good reviews/feedback as it really depends on the trader who uses that one. If you are knowledgeable in trading, you can also think that the results are positive but in a newbie, we couldn't think about it. That is why it is better to gain more knowledge first about trading rather than thinking about using bots as it never gives us positive output.
556  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Jermell Charlo - September 30th in Las Vegas on: September 28, 2023, 01:50:13 PM
Yes, it's another good bet for us here mate, so I might be thinking of throwing good money on that line as well. Charlo thinks that he can beat this version of Canelo and it seems that the media is hyping him up.

But I think Canelo will not go down easily, as we have seen when his critics is on him, he proved them wrong just like his fight with GGG. And when we think that he could be in the sunset of his career or at least losing a step, great boxers usually had a fight that will show that he still has it, just like Manny when he beat Keith Thurman.

After seeing Canelo's recent performances I would be hyped up too if I was Charlo. Canelo is coming from the loss to Bivol and lackluster decision wins against an old GGG and fringe contender John Ryder. The Canelo we have seen recently seems vulnerable. I'm just not too convinced about Charlo having what it takes to defeat a Canelo in decline. His inactivity and being in a new weight class are significant disadvantages. Despite being undisputed, Charlo has never been regarded too highly and is rarely included in any pound for pound lists. This is due to 154 being a weak division that has not allowed him to transcend in the sport.

It wouldn't be good for boxing if Canelo were to lose. After this fight, if he wins, people are already eagerly waiting for a big showdown between Canelo and Crawford, as the latter is planning to move up to challenge Canelo. Canelo is not getting any younger, though, so as he gets older, he becomes more vulnerable. However, a win is still a win, and I don't think a fighter like Jermell Charlo has the kind of skills to defeat Canelo.
557  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 28, 2023, 01:22:44 PM
I just saw this on Facebook.: Rudy Gay has agreed on a one-year deal with the Golden State Warriors.

https://www.facebook.com/NBA.updates4all/posts/pfbid02akbi8ucCxXD5C97zonDD6A9QHZ3WaCBRSsjbfQjKwZ9FoU1BefoxWqHRzD4gQ3ttl

I thought this guy was already done in the NBA but it looks like he still has a contract, unlike Dwight Howard who humorously claimed to be with the Golden State Warriors this season.
Rudy Gay averaged only 5 points per game while playing an average of 15 minutes last season.

This is an interesting signing by the Warriors… I don’t see Rudy Gay giving them many minutes this season, but maybe he could come in and get a few buckets when they need him to. Personally I think Dwight Howard could have helped the team much more and played a larger role, but maybe Gay has been drinking from the fountain of youth.

It was said that Rudy might mentor Kuminga as they have the same position and so maybe with Rudy's vast experience, who knows, maybe a couple of minutes in the game and also he might be hitting those big shots as he is also a good rhythm shooter during his time.

They also signed Usman Garuba as well, not sure if he is the replacement for Dwight Howard or not.

Another as well is Rodney McGruder, a 7th year veteran to added some depth in the back court.

Rudy Gay is not done yet; he might be able to achieve his first championship with the Warriors, who knows. His minutes really dropped with the Utah Jazz, but maybe with the Warriors, this will improve. I didn't expect these players to be signed by the Warriors, but maybe they find these players more suitable for the team than Dwight Howard, who probably still thinks his value is worth more than what he is offered.

As for Rodney McGruder, he is still young at 31 years old, but he has mostly played a role player role, as his points per game (PPG) average is below 10 points in all his seasons in the NBA with different teams.
558  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 7 ways to earn free cryptocurrency on: September 27, 2023, 09:31:40 PM
Well, I can't say it was a waste of time but if you are aiming to earn more, you'll have to spend money as well - buy crypto.
Although most of the exchanging platforms offer this thing opportunity for all registered users however I couldn't think that would make us happy and keep doing this. In fact, there is another way to generate more but yes, you also need to risk more.

Well, we can take these ways as OP had mentioned but buying potential coins seems to be the best way of earning a profit in the crypto market.
559  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will you do if your country did not legalize cryptocurrency? on: September 27, 2023, 01:50:22 PM
What will you do if you are a fan of bitcoin but your country did not legalize cryptocurrency?
I could not think about leaving my country just for this sake. Therefore, I have nothing to do but to stay away if that is illegal in my country. Can't force myself to invest when it is against the law unless I want trouble but I want peace.

It is very unfortunate for those people who live in a country where there is no freedom to invest in Bitcoin. It was indeed a great opportunity for them but it was hard to go against the government and suffer the consequences. And such an opportunity becomes hopeless.
560  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 27, 2023, 11:58:51 AM
The East will be almost predictable again if there aren't any changes in their roster, I am sure the Boston Celtics will dominate especially with the addition of the Unicorn Kristaps Porzingis. Now, the 76ers have a big problem on their roster with James Harden, the Miami Heat will still be an underrated team, Milwaukee Bucks seem to be silent too.
I can see the Orlando Magic taking a good spot in the East too.

I believe the 76ers will struggle next season as long as they have James Harden. We know that Embiid alone won't be able to carry the team to the playoffs. With him being the main player carrying most of the load, it's not going to be helpful for his health, especially considering his past serious injuries. I think the team that has made a great addition here is the Boston Celtics; they'll be a tough team to beat, provided Porzingis remains healthy, especially in the playoffs.
