561  Economy / Economics / Re: 5 things you should not do with your money to get rich on: November 26, 2022, 11:58:41 PM
Five things to follow to make yourself rich is good, but we can't be sure that the mentioned list works with everyone's life. Everything is a gamble, so we need to try. If things weren't working out, we should frame the next set of objectives that can help us grow good in wealth.
562  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cock fight game on: November 26, 2022, 11:43:17 PM
I‘ve wondered why this sort of thing hasn’t become reality with the internet and crypto. It’s probably a good thing as this sort of inhumane behavior would likely lead to protests. However, I once thought it might be cool to have a crypto gambling site where users could bet on fish fights between Japanese fighting fish, but again, a bit inhumane even if fish are a little less evil due to them not feeling pain. This sort of thing could only bring negativity to Bitcoin, so it’s probably best it doesn’t exist.

Until the industry became so corrupt that there was game fixing that results in kidnapping and killing that the government have to stop the operation, they have no choice but to do that, because of this cock fighting so many humans are sacrificed

Good thing it stop because cockfighting doesn't do anything good to people since for what we see in local news it all cost to much damage to people who's betting on cock fighting. And look what happen government can live without it also it seems that crimes or violence news related with such incidents are been low because government already ban the source.
Cock fight have turned to be a big industry. Government too doesn't take it into account about the problems that have arose within the people's life. Once after reading the thread saw a documentary in which a person is completely into cock fight where his survival is dependent over it. He earns out of collecting some previous things from the forest sells it and gamble. If it gets good return it would be his day, else he stays without having food for the day.

^^
Ah it's easy to be brave with bets less than $5!
I'm normally reluctant to bet against the favourite but I saw Australia at least on par
with Croatia and the same for Italy.

^
It was the impromptu doubles pairing of Thompson and Purcell who beat the formidable
Mektic and Pavic which was the stand out match.

I would say for today I Italy don't win the first 2 matches and it goes to the doubles
decider Canada would be stronger. Anyway my bet is on Italy.
You've known about the game and have gone with the odds over Italy. Auger-Aliassime have took Canada to the finals. Disappointment for Italy, which is being expected to win the trophy. Italy got an opportunity and it is missed. On the other hand it is Canada's first entry to the finals.

Afghanistan both site were outstanding today match against Sri Lanka. Afghanistan batters done their job 1st innings and bowlers did 2nd innings. It was very good match for Afghanistan. Afghanistan won by 60 runs. It is big win against Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka didn’t do their job as well they were underdressed in that match. Hopefully, they will be come back in very next match cz they have the good team as well.
Really good performance came from the batters and bowlers of Afghanistan. Lost their first wicket at 84 runs and the second wicket at 202 runs. This partnership helped the team make a good target. Zardan made a century and just incredible. To the efforts made by the batsmen, the bowlers gave good support taking wickets. Particularly Farooqi and Naib had a good wicket taking match. From Sri Lanka Nissanka and Hasaranga contributed good.
565  Economy / Speculation / Re: How fast will Bitcoin fall down? on: November 25, 2022, 11:47:16 PM
Hi. I'm a newbie and I'm just learning about this topic. There are many questions that I would like to understand, maybe this one has already been discussed, but I didn't find the thread, sorry. How reliable is Bitcoin, what will it be if someone will generate a new blockchain or another digital currency, will it make bitcoin fall down, and how fast?
With my own knowledge concerning Bitcoin, if another technology that looks like Bitcoin come into existence and Bitcoin continue to be experiencing this bearish market, the technology will look like Bitcoin competitors and if it becomes influential to the society it might affect the the technology of Bitcoin tye way I'm seeing it, because people of the world like to involve their self for what that will benefit them, so from my understanding it will drag Bitcoin back.
You've mentioned if another technology similar to the bitcoin backing exists it'll grab the attention of the people and drag back bitcoin. Do you think such thing could happen in the next 100 years, technology changes according to the people's need. This doesn't mean people just leave it and move to the new one. Think of the stock market that is into usage prior to the existence of bitcoin. Even now stock market have its importance and people who are part of stock investing consider cryptocurrency investment and haven't left the stock market completely.
566  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Crypto Gambling this year? on: November 25, 2022, 11:19:26 PM
The list varies and we don't know on what criteria the men's journal have made the top list. To my view the list is completely different from the mentioned list. Same as that it could vary between users. To identify which is the best crypto gambling platform, the right way is to have a polling among the Bitcointalk users. Majority of the users have little experience using different gambling platforms, based on which one can make their decision.
567  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I Am So Done With Betting Until.... on: November 25, 2022, 11:14:44 PM
I think I am one of the unluckiest gambler/bettor out here, today is one of my worst days again and I think I should quit betting.

I went all in on Argentina thinking their match against Saudi Arabia would be an easy win for them, and the fact that the odds were so far away against Saudi Arabia winning while it was in huge favor of Argentina caused me to be so sure that Argentina was going to win the match, and then, I went all in, hoping to make some big wins just like yesterday, but now, everything is gone, in just a twinkle of an eye...
Argentina is a big disappointment, It's still hard to believe, I quit betting until I am able to forget this experience entirely.

Rest assured that you were not the only one losing money because of that result. Those are the games that make you sick big time when you lose money. But did it even make sense to place a bet on Argentina? I haven't checked the odds for Argentina, but they must have been very low. I just read that the odds for Saudi Arabia to turn the game around was 125 after the goal was scored 10 minutes into the game. Would have been a funny gamble with just a few dollars. Maybe some drunk dudes went for the gamble but no way somebody chooses to do that when you are sober!
Very few could've made the bet at the highest odd just to find how is the luck. Entire nation celebrated it and the government have announced Rolls Royce for every player. A big game recorded in history and a big learning for Argentina to come up strong. Everyone waiting for the upcoming match of Argentina and from the very beginning there is discussion on Argentina that we can't term a team to be strong based on a single player's performance.

Currently the Davis Cup tournament is taking place with Croatia in the semi-finals after beating Spain and will face Australia who beat the Netherlands, the other quarterfinal matches Italy vs USA and Germany vs Canada are still awaiting results. It looks like the focus right now is on the World Cup.

Funny, I would pick Australia and Italy and favourites without knowing the odds,
actually I'm going to take a punt on both to win against the odds.

Australia @ 3.15
Italy @ 3.00

Majority of your picks used to be a winning for you when it comes with tennis matches. It looked funny that you have chosen against the odds, but you've won the bet as Australia have won the match against Croatia and have reached the finals. Really a good predictor on tennis matches.

and speaking of injuries, this could also be a factor in Djokovic' performance and
journey in 2023. An injury could prove a massive enemy to him.

We could see good progress for Thiem in 2023, he still has a lot to offer and yea Zverev
will be only starting his journey back from a big a sense.
More young players are in the competence. So, we can't have something strong to determine a particular person to be the lead throughout the year. Same as what we experienced this year, we can see more unexpected progress from players. This makes the matches scheduled during the year 2023 more interesting.

As mentioned, injuries were a big enemy when it comes to sportsman. Maybe he could compete with rest between series, participating only on the popular ones.
570  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Bad economic situation always create more crimes on: November 22, 2022, 10:27:01 PM
If its related about looting or any theft maybe that can relay to a bad economy.
But if the security is the issue here I guess there is something worst aside from the economic status, maybe the government is not doing their best to control such crime and make the country safe. Tourism can be a good source of income but if the country is not secured for that, probably tourist will not come. The government should also ensure the safety of every people while dealing with the economic crisis, by this they can rise again at the right time.
Whenever there is recession, we can experience the increase in the crime. This is all because of the money getting accumulated with the rich and not falling down to the common man. This leads to increased crime in all ways. Most of the jobless people and the people who got fired during the time period looking for a way to earn makes them get into criminal activities. Here we can't mention theft increase, because the theft who steal for his food tomorrow does the same to have luxury. At the base it needs to be stopped, and this can be done by the government.
571  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: November 21, 2022, 11:09:46 PM
An easy win today for djokovic against casper Ruud he looked so dominant all tournament long, there no doubt he is the best performer at the moment he has beaten all the top players, too bad nadal didn't made it far so we could see the novak nadal classic.
Novak Djokovic won in the direct sets 7-5 6-3 which looks like the first set going closer. In the second set Ruud have given up. An easy win for Novak Djokovic and he once again proved he's the lead with the 6th ATP Finals Crown.

Like i said yesterday this would be the easiest match for Novak Djokovic and it was. He won easily in straight sets against Ruud that wasnt even close to a break point in this match. Ruud still was in the final and that is a huge result. Novak Djokovic can now rest up and focus on Australian open that is in over 1 month.

And as I said earlier, Djokovic' 2023 season has already started. He is for sure going
to make up in 2023 for lost ground in 2022.

Who are going to be his main competitors for each grand slam? Alcaraz, Medvedev, Nadal,
Rune . . . anyone else?
It is quite hard to make a prediction as the main competitor. All the mentioned players are able ones. However we haven't reached a position to state Alcaraz or Medvedev or the mentioned players will win in this match same as that we say with the matches of Novak Djokovic. When a match is being played between Djokovic and someone else, we can say Djokovic will win the match. So, it is the scenario that decide who is going to be the better competitor.
572  Economy / Economics / Re: Corrupt people in crypto on: November 21, 2022, 11:04:34 PM
Human mind with greed is nothing different from the reality. This greed could happen out of different reasons. Here what I see with these people as the reason to be greedy is to keep themselves on the top. The network authorities plan for something and things didn't take place as planned. This is where everything gets collapsed and we experience hard days out of the market.
573  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Crypto survive? on: November 21, 2022, 10:37:54 PM
The cryptocurrency network runs upon the trust from the common people who have been using cryptocurrencies for some need. It can be for trading, investment, long term profiting etc. It have survived more than a decade, during which it have encountered many serious issues. At some point it is said that bitcoin is not the original one. It came crossing all such hurdles. So, there is nothing to worry about its survival making connections with the ongoing events that have disturbed the market.

575  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Qatar bribed 8 players from Ecuador for the opening match on: November 20, 2022, 11:36:53 PM
The result of today's match proved the news to be false. I think fake news without proof targets countries and institutions, but actually harms football directly. It shouldn't be hard to say it's really unpleasant behavior. Also, I think there is a very high probability that it is a fake news made to influence betting predictions. Legal investigation should be initiated against whoever made this claim.
Today's result gave the conclusion for the news spread around. If Qatar have won today's match, then the entire world could've started questioning the FIFA organization. The same could've spoilt the matches. Ecuador will be called for investigation and the Ecuador players could've received unwanted hate from their country people. Investigation to find the authority that revealed such news should be punished to avoid such unethical news spreading.
576  Economy / Economics / Re: Can One Get Rich or At least Not go Broke During a Recession? on: November 20, 2022, 11:33:16 PM
Anyone who correctly evaluates the recession period will certainly become rich, but I have a lot of question marks on this subject. When markets balloon, many indicators inform about risk. For example, the RSI draws trends with negative peaks (negative divergence), the volume of the market weakens, but there is no indicator that we can measure the level of the recession period. So, every period that we think we are in the buying zone may not actually be a buying zone. That's why I don't think it will be a period that everyone can benefit from, as it is a period with a lot of uncertainty.
Evaluating the recession too a difficult task same as predicting the low bottom of bitcoin. Most of the time recession looks like whether it is really affecting the economy nor it has just slowed down the growth. In recent years majority of the countries have experienced economic hardness, and to be on the safer side having emergency fund allocated is the better way to keep our lives undisturbed. This could make us rich or atleast help us overcome the situation without getting broke.
577  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How important is fiat to Bitcoin? on: November 20, 2022, 11:26:53 PM
Until the bitcoin gets direct usage, the need for fiat will be there. Each and everything is valued in terms of fiat. The price of single bitcoin equals specific amount of fiat. This is how the market works. For now we can't think of bitcoin replacing the fiat system followed all around the world.  Such a way of working gives way for coexisting than just any of the one having its dominance.

The direct usage of bitcoin over the years have increased and it shows the growth happening In terms of adoption, but at any point the usage of fiat haven't declined during the same time period.

In the semifinals he will fight Fritz, just look at what kind of thread Fritz can do for this match and how to beat Djokovic

one more win for Djokovic, a bit tougher than expected, but it is hard to get Fritz break on this surface
in the end, Fritz was the one not mentally prepared to enter third set, he did not had the strength to finish second set before tie break

looking to finals, cannot see how Rublev/Ruud can play against Djokovic, almost secured trophy

Djokovic played good today but i think Fritz had an amazing chance to maybe win against Djokovic that was really tired from the match against Medvedev. The important thing for Djokovic is that he won in straight sets and now he can rest for the final. I think the trophy is in the bag for Djokovic
Djokovic won the straight sets, but those two sets were really hard for him. If he had made small mistake, the match could've moved towards Fritz. This is how the match went, 77-65 78-66. Much closer win, and the final doesn't look to be fighting one for Djokovic as the match is against Ruud.
579  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you a gambling addict? on: November 19, 2022, 11:13:57 PM
I'm little into addiction, because I spend what I've kept aside for some prime need. The article gives a big list of contents. Going through the entire article will give an overview on how to stay away from gambling addiction. In all means if the gambler himself doesn't have the control, there is no way to get out of addiction through meditation, medication, drugs and other measures.
580  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Roshtein fake money streamer or not? on: November 19, 2022, 10:10:53 PM
No matter who the streamer is, it's always going to be hard to prove their legitimacy unless they outright admit that they are using a fill balance or something alike.

This is the fact, unless the streamer himself admits we can't get into conclusion whether he's playing with real money or fake money. Streamers play a great role in attracting users towards the respective platform. At times the bets looks to be completely against the reality, still we believe in it. This is how common man's mind. Streamers are paid good and as said in one of the post if one can broadcast his deposit it can be believed that he's playing real game.
