561  Economy / Economics / Re: Some Strategies to Face the Next Crisis on: July 02, 2020, 02:06:32 PM
I think there is one general tip for all crisis, spend minimum and try to save as much as you can.
Real crisis hasn't started yet and we are about to experience its real consequences until end of the year and further. It's hard to tell how deep it will be and how long it's going to last.
Cryptocurrencies might be one part of survival plan but you can't rely on that only. Especialy not on "double profit" of Bitcoin price, like it was mentioned before. Cryptocurrencies are unpredictable and how the price is going to move or will they be helpful in crisis period it's hard to tell.
562  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think players can play properly against a recovered Covid-19 opponent? on: July 02, 2020, 11:25:32 AM
People are always afraid of new and unknown so we have the same situation with this virus too.
Because of fear people sometimes don't think rationaly.
I think they can play but they have to free their minds and they shouldn't worry for no reason.
However, this is very interesting moment in predictions for matches and its use in gambling, very inovative approach I.must say.
563  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Fraud on: July 02, 2020, 07:33:02 AM
I am a victim of bitcoin fraud and would like to know where I should report it. I live in Canada.

If that's a person and you have their identity, you can report the case to authorities there. If the person is using an alias or fake picture, say goodbye to your money.

Scammers will never use their true identity once they are going to victimized someone, that's very risky for them. If that's the case, you will never retrieve your money ever again because it is hard for you to track them once you report it to the locality. Bitcoin fraud are really a common problem when you easily trust someone.

My friend is also a victim of these bitcoin frauds but he reported it immediately to the authority but they failed to catch those scammers, as the police said that they are using alias or fake identity. That was 2 years ago, and now he is more careful about his assets and he's not that pierced in manipulating his coins.

Of course that scamers don't use true identity but if you have any information for the police is at least something they can start on. I'm convinced that every such fraud should be reported and when police connects the details they will get to at least some result.
But the best way we can help izraelce is to be aware that we are possible victims of fraud and that we need to protect ourselves, be very careful and take care on our crypto wallets, personal and financial data and everything that could be misused.
564  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will governments do next to manipulate Bitcoin? on: July 01, 2020, 06:14:51 PM
In my opinion, governments already have done everything that they could against bitcoin. So They don't have any way to down bitcoin again. Now if they are really interested about bitcoin & want to do something, then that will "Remove A Ban On Bitcoin & promote it". And That will be a good sign for bitcoin. Without this, they don't have anything to do

Could you specify what exactly have governments done against Bitcoin and which governments? When we talk like this I like to hear some concrete argumentes.
To my opinion all these stories about governments all around the world that are against Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are exaggerated and almost sound like a witch hunt. Like Bitcoin users like to play victims and rebells but in fact the whole story about governments and Bitcoin could be put in.one word - regulation.
565  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: FreeBitcoin Bot - What do you think about this tool?? on: July 01, 2020, 01:54:16 PM
I have one general opinion of all bots, I don't trust them, I don't think they will do work for you and you don't need them. This very bot isn't exception.
If you ask me don't use bots, especialy not in gambling because that might produce effect just the opposite from wanted, bots can't think and make decisions instead of you and instead of winning you might end up losing.
566  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin performance in first half of 2020 on: June 30, 2020, 08:27:09 PM
Bitcoin performed quite well in first half of 2020 but not like it performed in the end of 2017 or start of 2018. Bitcoin crossed the milestone of 20k$ which was a great achievement. According to market condition the performance seems good.

To my opinion that exactly is the problem. We always compare Bitcoin performance with 2017 hoping that will repeat sooner or later and everything less is disappointment. But 2017 was exceptional and we shouldn't always look back to that.
I think that Bitcoin performance in first half of the year was average but expected and if we don't have too big and unrealistic expectations, we have to admit it was quite good.
567  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UK rules will hit loot boxes games hard - as they’re turning kids into gamblers. on: June 30, 2020, 04:15:42 PM
I don't think this is a good one, as a kid, you really need to avoid such kind of action to pursue your dreams or else you ended up losing all of your allowance for mere entertainment. They need to re-think this new rule because this is not an easy thing to eliminate once it has been approved for many years now. The kids will not be recovered from addiction in a day. they want to gather as much money as they can but the risk is higher than to earn. Kids shouldn't be thinking where he needs to get money to play more instead he needs to have some free mind and to have some problem-free life.

I really can't understand how can they expose kids to such risk. They can't think clearly and rationaly and will not be able to resist temptation. That is big potential social problem but obviously authorities didn't think that way. That can only push forward completely wrong at these children who will play such games. When problems ocur I guess it will be too late.
568  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FOX prepared to add virtual fans and crowd noise to NFL broadcasts on: June 30, 2020, 10:55:45 AM
I think that holograms are tested from quite some time now.I remembering when they used in the USA many years ago a 2Pac hologram in his honor and people were shocked to see it.I think it is time to put this thing in work in a stadium and I think it can offer some sort of simulation of a real crowd. They just need to add some sounds from Tv channels who are broadcasting the game and that should do it.

Yes I remember seeing that and it was in 2012... so yes there are probably more advanced technologies out now that would make it look even better...

It should be hologram of real live sounds and spectactors then... so sports don't slowly degenerate from the real to the fake, and people in the distant future won't even remember what actual sport was like in the past.
Hopefully people don't gradually lose meaning of real things with the way things are moving to the virtual computer world

The other day I watched footbal match and at first I thought how come that there are people at the stadium. Then I saw that the audience is made of paper and there is recorded sound of the crowd cheering and making noise that was present all the time. I have to.admit that looked weird and funny to me and I definetely wouldn't like that sport turns into this, what a shame that would be...
569  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What was your experience trading cryptocurrency? on: June 30, 2020, 07:44:35 AM
My first experience wasn't easy and so successful, I have to admit that. But that was years ago, I didn't know much about trading and felt kind of lost in crypto market. With time I learned a lot, especialy on my own mistakes and now I'm much more related and have positive opinion about trading. Of course, I faced losses too and sometimes that wasn't easy to overcome but gained experience helped me a lot.
570  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it true that Corona Virus may effect trading? on: June 29, 2020, 09:14:19 PM
That theory it's hard to support because actually no one is making exact analysis how pandemic affected trading and cryptocurrencies. At least I haven't come on anything like that. There are many studies and estimations how pandemic affected economies but no one is dealing with crypto market and that is not the only case where we lack figures and studies.
So, I guess everything depends on our own impression and assesment. I would say that there is kind of impact of pandemic on cryptocurrencies trading but it's really hard to define its nature.
571  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will a BTC bull market begin in July? on: June 29, 2020, 07:30:05 PM
There are annoucements for almost every month that is going to be a bull run month. That reminds me how gamblers always think that exactly the next gamble will be the winning one.
Expectations are high and many Bitcoin users are disappointed that because halving didn't bring expected price jump but they don't stop hoping.
I don't expect any major changes in price in the next month, can't see such indicators and to my opinion price will continue to fluctuate in the current range between 8500$ and 9500$.
572  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How the wallet is hacked, what should I do? on: June 29, 2020, 05:29:38 PM
The only thing necessary for me to prevent this kind of situation where your wallets are getting hacked is, never used other gadgets or device to access your wallet. That's very risky even if you know the person that owns the device that you are using. Don't trust anyone when it comes to cryptocurrency especially when we talk about digital wallets.

Every beginners or newbies should know the importance of that and they should know how to improve their security. It is easy to make a digital wallet that has a high security, and it depends on you if you will use other gadgets. But if i were you, i will only access my digital wallet only when I'm using my devices.

Unfortunately, security is not only issue for beginnners and newbies, many crypto users have this problem and often forget their own safety. They trust too much not only to other people but also to different platforms, they share their access data and don't protect their wallets in adequate way. I think that awareness about security and how to protect yourself again hacker attacks and other illegal activities is still very low among crypto users.
573  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoins can hit either $8k or bounce back to $10k - volatile times are back? on: June 29, 2020, 02:18:52 PM
Anything can happen this is crypto world but i think bitcoin will stable at 9k$ and will grow by the mid of july and will cross 11k$ price milestone but if it will drop to 8k$ then that will be the best time to invest in bitcoin because it will definitely increase in near future.

Indeed, an analyst on that video link I post stated that the patient holder will be rewarded and that the current drop is just temporary.  I believe that crypto price will go sideways and we will not see a dramatic increase this next week.  I just hope that it won't drop to sub $8k since it can trigger another panic selling.  The further drop may be a good chance to buy more but it will also take longer for BTC to recover and goes back to uptrend market.

Some exchanges already posted a <$9k already, this is just the start of the week and it seems that we didn't start the week on the right side of the bed. Sub $8k is really possible at this point, as there might be newbies we will panic seeing the price going below $9k again. Yes, we could see a sideway patterns with a slow drop, 1%-3% so it looks like we're in a bearish trend.

I sincerely hope there will be no massive panic selling. Anyway, this is the situation we've seen before and I don't expect massive negative response although some exchanges announced price drop. However, I don't think the price will fall under 8000$ and the fluctuations will continue. Volatility was never gone anyway, it just wasn't so visible.
574  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think eSport gambling will become more popular than normal Sport betting? on: June 29, 2020, 11:14:33 AM
No, I don't think that will happen.
Because of new circumstances people will need to adjust and e-sports betting will become more popular than it's now but it will not replace regular sports.
People just love sport for a reason and sonet or later we'll get back to normal sport events, matches and championships and that is what people enjoy and want to bet on. I can't imagine that e-sport is only offer that is awailable to us.
575  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Without banks, is it possible to move physical currencies to Crypto? on: June 29, 2020, 09:11:38 AM
It begs me to ask this question; is it possible for one to move physical currencies to Crypto exchanges without passing through the Bank?
Yes it is possible, also for your anonymity you may check on local bitcoins. that can be executed with a peer-peer transaction and just to avoid any unnecessary charges.

I don't think that he asked for that. You ecplained the option to exchange Bitcoin in private, without any third party, although in case of localbitcoins that might as well be very risky. O think that he asked how to transfer fiat funds on exchanges without using bank.account or credit card. I don't think that there is the way to escape the banks this way or the other because of quite strict rules and laws on finances and financial services in almost every country.
576  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Mistakes on: June 28, 2020, 09:12:15 PM
Well, it's impossible to trade without making mistakes, we all make them sooner or later. Especialy at the begininig, after all you need to get some knowledge and experience.
The most important thing is that you learn from your mistakes and don't repeat them. It's also very important that you don't become greedy and too emotional, that will definetely lead you into troubles and losses. Balance in trading is very important.
577  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC next Movement......... on: June 28, 2020, 07:27:04 PM
So many people have high hopes that it will bridge the $10 k mark, this is bad news but this is how volatile the market is, it's very unpredictable even more because of the extraordinary situation we are in, I'd like to think now that pandemic is contributing to its dip, but I still have hopes that it will rally this coming month.
Well, now I see a repeating pattern. when the price of bitcoin reaches the level of $ 8k, the price of bitcoin will rise again to a slightly higher price in the range of $ 9100 to $ 9700. well, for now, the price of bitcoin has returned to $ 9133 after declining to $ 8950. I believe that the price of bitcoin may rise to $$ 9400- $ 9500 in the near future.

I don't know if we can call this a pattern and what cause it but it seems that there are some regularities in the price movements.
Bitcoin has struggling to cross 10000$ price and if it reaches it, it pulls back almost immediately. At the moment I think that price will continue to fluctuate in the current range without major changes. I don't think ut will go under 8500$  but not above 9800$ either.
578  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CORONAVIRUS IMPACT ON SPORTS GAMBLING on: June 28, 2020, 05:41:35 PM
Everything is possible in this country, even that which is very illogical and suspicious  Wink
But I don’t think that there was such a reason - bookmakers have the right at any time to declare any result “unplayed” and return bets to betters. This is done to protect them from such fraud.

The strange powers of the bookies. In this case, they may try to declare any suspicious match invalid. Especially if they suffered losses on it.
There should never have been a match like this.

If the bookmakers did not have such a right that protects them from dishonest matches, then all legal bookmakers would go bankrupt for a long time. There is a lot of situations where fraud (in sports) is obvious, but it is unrealistic to prove collusion. These rules help bookmakers protect their business.

But what to do if the result of the match exceeded all expectations and the bookmaker suffered losses. However, the game was fair. In this case, the bookmaker can declare the match as a contract and refuse to pay the bets.

How can those who placed bets get their winnings?

That is an issue and tricky situation that can happen. I guess that bookmaker can make the decision according to his estimation, however if he wants to keep the business he should play fair. Unfortunately, frauds in sports are also very often and that makes situation even more difficult.
579  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A lot of Americans still don't know what Bitcoin is on: June 28, 2020, 02:38:54 PM
This is not isolated case in America, in many countries in the world there are many people who still haven't heard of Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies in general. Any many of those who did don't want to use it or don't trust it.
We have global problem with awareness about Bitcoin, not only in America and it seems that problem is hard to be solved. If there is no awareness there will be no adoption too.
580  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain/Crypto roles on: June 28, 2020, 12:04:21 PM
I think that is hard to define fixed roles with fixed descriptions. Blockchain and cryptocurrencies evolve and change so new needs, new jobs appear all the time. Some general roles could be like developer, analyst, trader, trainer and similar but undere these roles there are also many different nuances and specifications. It's not easy to define and envisage all necessities in crypto world.
