561  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Black Friday Online Casino Bonuses 2022 on: November 16, 2022, 06:03:59 AM
It's that time of the year where business get ready to do the Black Friday deals with their product and services. Online casinos are not left out too. on Friday, Nov 26th, which is Black Friday, most casinos will offer he match bonuses, some signup bonuses, free chips, and of course free spins. So if you happen to be someone who wants to get the most value for your deposits and wagers, the 26th of November could be the day that you’ve been waiting for. Suppose your favorite online casinos don't offer any Black Friday bonuses, would you try other casinos that do or stay loyal to them?
Yeah, most casino do offer bonuses during blackfriday, but have you had a look at the terms and conditions of those bonuses? They make the rules so that it is almost impossible to win anything from the bonus. Even if you do manage to beat the rules and win something, very likely they do add some restrictions on how much you can take from the bonus winnings. Most high rollers, don't actually care about those event free spins and bonuses during events. They look for casinos that they are comfortable playing with and has good programs that rewards them for being active gamblers.
562  Economy / Speculation / Re: The most stupid dip in Bitcoin's history - and why we can be happy now on: November 16, 2022, 05:06:50 AM
Shouldn't be calling it a stupid dip. I mean, yeah, the events that unfolded did have some good outcome, but still... we shouldn't be ignoring events like this. No matter how much decentralization we want, people will still use centralized form of services to buy, sell or hold their coin since people always looks for the easy way. Maybe eventually people will go for decentralized organization when crypto currencies and how they work are  more well understood by regular/common people. But for now, we can't expect centralized exchanges to collapse like this. But if we look at the bright side, more people are now aware of the dangers of holding coin in centralized wallet/exchanges!
563  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your opinion on casinos that don't have ANN threads in the forum? on: November 16, 2022, 03:52:55 AM
Hey guys! Lately I have noticed a trend on one or two occasions and I am curious to ask for your opinion on this particular issue of casinos that do not have an ANN thread in this forum, where discussion on the progress and development of the casinos and also serve as a feedback mechanism to handle issues resulting from members' activities on their site.
I don't know if this topic has been discussed before, if it has, please point me to the thread where the topic has been discussed otherwise please leave your views here in the comment section.
Some of those casinos already hard a running signature campaigns in the forum but yet doesn't have an active ANN thread or a representative in the forum, so how do players deal with issues from the site, should we contact the campaign managers each time there is a problem from those casinos?
Not all casinos are purely crypto casinos. There are casinos that accept crypto payment, but they mainly focuses on fiat currency. Hence, you don't see them here. Almost all crypto casinos does have an announcement thread here. Why would they ignore the largest crypto currency forum to introduce their casino if they actually do care about their casino?
If they have users wearing signature, then there is already a representative of the casino here. You probably missed him.
564  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can we see a huge rise in the price of Dogecoin ? on: November 09, 2022, 11:31:43 PM
Elon Musk is a big supporter of Dogecoin and has promoted it multiple times. Now he also owns Twitter where he has many times pushed different crypto projects and caused big fluctuations in the price of different crypto coins.

So is it possible that he will use the ownership title of Twitter to push the prices of Dogecoin also ? I have observed some increase in prices already but will it continue for long run ? Do you think one should bet on this event and spend good amount of money on dogecoin for reaping the benefits later ? Or we should not rely on a man like Elon Musk who has made contradictory statements about bitcoin is past? Which side are you ?
The price did went up when Elon bought twitter. As usual people are/were expecting Elon Musk to integrate dogecoin with twitter somehow. So people kept on buying doge, the price went up, Elon made a tweet about doge, the price went up more and now it is a whole different story. Due to an exchange (FTX), the market is now crashing, bitcoin went below 16,000 USD but doge crashed even more. Currently is down more than 40%. People weren't expecting this when they invested in doge. So, yeah, never invest based on some events. The crypto market is very volatile and you never know what might happen next. Yes, if Elon does make dogecoin as a way of making payment for the blue tick, then the price will go up.
565  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Does Gambling/Casino Ads Help An Addicted Gambler Who Wants To Stop Gambling on: November 09, 2022, 10:54:20 PM
I was just reading some articles on the web and upon every scroll, there was this gambling ad belonging to a casino that just displays, sometimes even covering parts of the text of the article i was reading, then at some point, i began to imagine myself as a gambling addict who is struggling to quit or reduce my gambling habit, and going online and seeing Ads of different kinds from different casinos, would this Ads lure the gambler back into gambling notwithstanding that he or she is trying to stop ?

I personally liken this to some one who is addicted to porn and masturbation, and really wants to stops, but just by scrolling the pages of his Facebook or Instagram account and saw some naked women, which triggers the urge to do it again at that time. Grin

If this continues to happen again and again, do you think such a person will ever leave such a habit?

And another question is, if you are addicted to gambling and wants to quit but discovers that seeing gambling Ads on the internet is one of the triggers that lures you into gambling again, is it possible for you to stay away from the internet until you are sure you've completely healed from that addiction?
You are probably reading news/articles from "spam" sites that usually recycle/steal contents from other websites and post it as their own. They fill those sites with advertisements. A legit or well reputed site won't cover their contents with advertisements and they have standards. And you should start using ad blockers. They were made specially for sites like those that have annoying ads.

-snip-

And another question is, if you are addicted to gambling and wants to quit but discovers that seeing gambling Ads on the internet is one of the triggers that lures you into gambling again, is it possible for you to stay away from the internet until you are sure you've completely healed from that addiction?
Simple solution. Use adblockers. Visit sites that are non gambling related. You don't have to stay away from the computer.
566  Economy / Gambling / Re: Provable Fair Guru | Gambling Strategies | Martingale Calculator on: November 05, 2022, 05:08:44 PM
I like how simple the site is, but a better design might attract more users. The list seems to be very short. You may want to add more casinos eventually so people have more options. CryptoGames doesn't seem to be on the list. If you can, review the casino and add it to the list. It's a provably fair casino with Auto bet features and APIs to connect bots and create strategies. Seems like a perfect fit for your website.
567  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not believe every crypto news you read online on: November 05, 2022, 04:38:03 PM
When you see a crypto news saying that investors are leaving shiba inu and polygon or avalanche for a new project do not always believe, this is a new way to attract the public investors that have no time to do their own research first.

For example, something like this is been going on for a long time now

I can't count how many times I've come across such news online and when you check the project out its either a new upcoming project that's not even launched yet or a project that has low volume.

This Oryen Network in the picture above is not even listed on coinmarketcap and presale is ongoing 🤦🏼‍♂️ why the lie in the first place? The presale is even struggling if you check the website.

New crypto investors need to be very careful when doing research, do not take a decision without doing your own research first.
Those are paid articles with click bait titles. Those articles will have some kind of tags such as a sponsored tag or an advertisement tag. If you look at the end of the article/news, you will notice that the site states that it is a paid article and that the information might be biased and hasn't been verified by the team. Most of those paid contents aren't moderated and you will notice that they are never at the "news" section. And you will only see those extremely biased articles on news portals that aren't known to everyone and doesn't have much traffic.
568  Economy / Economics / Re: A friend want to invest short term in bitcoin and crypto on: November 05, 2022, 04:23:55 PM
a friend of mine came to me and he asked, is it possible to invest in bitcoin and crypto for the short term,? which is to meet daily needs, and I am confused to answer because I am still a beginner in bitcoin and crypto. and I want to ask everyone about it?
Fix your title first. And the answer is a simple No. You can't invest in bitcoin for short term and expect to meet daily needs. Very risky and highly likely he will end up losing money and won't be able to pay his bills. Show him the bitcoin chart, and he will see that the short term price is very volatile. Zoom it out for him and he will notice that the price  in the long term always has been giving profits.
569  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen to crypto exchanges in the future? on: November 05, 2022, 03:53:28 PM
Bitcoin is becoming more and more popular and applicable everyday and there are plenty of companies and businesses accepting it as a common type of payment. However, when digital money is globally accepted, would there still be a need for cryptocurrency exchanges? Any thoughts on this?
Digital money? You mean crypto currencies? Or those Central Bank Digital Currencies? If CBDC does become mainstream, it still won't replace crypto currencies. People will still prefer decentralized currencies over government controlled centralized currencies. All CBDC's are likely going to be stable coin, so investors will still invest in crypto currencies to make profits. And if you are talking about crypto currencies, then I see no reason why crypto exchanges can't exist. People will still want to exchange from one currency to another or trade to make profit. They will still need exchanges to do those.
570  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC Ever Reach $100k? on: November 05, 2022, 03:42:49 PM
We deserve to be optimistic that the price of Bitcoin has returned to the level of $ 20K even today the market rises more than 6% and now around $ 21600, hopefully the price will continue to rise and next year can reach $ 100K, now a good opportunity to continue to invest so that we get profit large when the price reaches $ 100K.
The year is almost about to come to an end and you expect the price to go up to 100k already? Yeah, the last few months of the year are most of the time the best performing months for crypto currencies, but it seems to be a little different this year (and this is why you shouldn't rely those for investing in crypto currencies). The 6% rise might be temporary and most likely because of some current events taking place like Elon taking over twitter. People are expecting him to integrate crypto currencies into the platform. If it does happen, yes, the price will go up a lot, but if for some reason, twitter decides not to do it and announces it, very highly likely we will see another bearish trend.
571  Economy / Speculation / Re: How fast will Bitcoin fall down? on: November 05, 2022, 03:36:02 PM
By how fast bitcoin will fall, I guess you mean much the price can fall and how quickly? No one can answer this question. The crypto market is extremely volatile. The price can go up or down a lot within few minutes. Look at the price few days ago. It was below $18,500. And look at the price now, it went up above $21,500. All the ups and downs happened within few hours. You see the price, you go to bed, you wake up and you will see something different the next day. That's why you always have to keep in mind that the market is volatile and you should invest only what you can afford to lose.
-snip-
How reliable is Bitcoin, what will it be if someone will generate a new blockchain or another digital currency, will it make bitcoin fall down, and how fast?
Extremely reliable. Thousands of coins exists and more will exist, but none can take down bitcoin. At least not in the next few years.
572  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fees on Dormant Accounts on Crypto Gambling Platforms on: November 05, 2022, 03:26:49 PM
Are you familiar with this? Or has anybody here been actually charged for having his/her crypto gambling account inactive for several months?

The monthly charge could be as high as 15% of the remaining balance. Or, worse, the entire balance could be withheld by the platform itself. Although it could be for security's sake and be returned upon request, who knows what conditions or perhaps KYC information they would require just to have your money back?

For the sake of discussion, let's set aside the fact that one shouldn't leave money in gambling account wallets. Do you think this policy is fair?

This is similar to a bank policy that requires accounts to have transactions every now and then or be active or else dormancy fees could be charged. But this feels weird to a gambling platform. What happens to seasonal gamblers who don't mind leaving money in their account wallets? One could only be betting during annual work breaks or vacation or during annual sports championship events. Say, the NBA playoffs, The International, and others.
You are right, one should never leave their funds on their gambling account. If they are done gambling be back for few weeks or few days, they should withdraw their funds and store it somewhere safe. Casinos can charge a fee if an account was dormant/inactive for more than months. They can charge the account. They don't do it malicious intent. They do it because to discourage users from storing  their funds in their casino. And then it is also an unwanted risk/liability of the casino to hold the funds of the user for years. Casinos might confiscate their entire balance, but if the user requests, the casino if they can, they will return you the funds. Read the terms of services of the casino before gambling!
573  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How are Online casino's and sports betting platforms coping? on: November 05, 2022, 03:07:09 PM
They are coping like just any other business I guess. They all have risk management team that will alert the owners beforehand and in case of any economic downfall that might impact their casino, they do have policies to reduce the damage. In case of physical or online casinos, when the casino reaches its short run shutdown point were the average revenue is below variable cost, they will have to close down their casinos and have no other options. This is more likely to happen with physical casinos since they have higher variable cost than those of online casino.
574  Economy / Economics / Re: Corruption Should Be Taught From Young Age on: November 05, 2022, 02:25:34 PM
Would make no difference to be honest. All those countries that are highly corrupted, has been like this for years and no changes have taken place. Do you think their people aren't aware what is going on? Yes, they all are aware, yet they don't do anything to get rid of the corruption. They would prefer to sit and watch and blame their own people and the government, rather than doing something to over throw their government and elect someone that will bring changes to their country. They shouldn't be taught about corruption only, they should also be taught about fighting corruption, but I wonder if a corrupted country would allow that...
575  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Effective strategy to get crypto news. on: November 05, 2022, 02:15:10 PM
You don't need any strategies to keep yourself updated with crypto and news. You can use the forum. Anything that is trending most likely is being discussed on this forum. You can use google too. Google and you will find some good crypto currency related news portals. You can go through those every day.

And since you are also looking for coin specific news, go to coinmarketcap, select the coin that you want to keep yourself updated about, keep it on your watchlist, and when you scroll down, you will see all the news about the coin from different news portal.
576  Economy / Gambling / Re: What is the best thing to do if this happens on: November 05, 2022, 12:47:50 PM
Assuming you gamble on a mid to high-rated gambling website and you won big but they refuse to pay up, what and what are the legal way to make sure that the platform pays up your money?
If it is a licensed casino, then you maybe able to take legal steps. Contact their license provide and file a complaint. If the amount is significant and you don't receive any positive response from the license provider or the casino, then contact your local law enforcement team, they will be able to help you with something or provide you with some guidance. If it is a non licensed casino, you likely won't be able to do anything. But in both cases, make sure to open disputes on various gambling related forum. If the casino cares about their reputation, they will likely return your winnings and funds (if you won without breaking any ToS).
577  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: investment in bitcoin should be short term or long term. on: November 05, 2022, 06:39:00 AM
i am a newbie in bitcoin, and i plan to buy bitcoin,, and will invest in bitcoin, and i want to ask everyone? if investing in bitcoin is it better short term or long term??? but in my opinion, long-term investment is better, but what do you think?
All kind of crypto currency investment should be long term, unless you are investing in some coins that are trending or is being hyped. If those are the coins, then invest, make profit and sell quickly before the hype ends or else you will make some huge losses. But if it is bitcoin, then invest, keep holding, when the price drops, invest more to hold long term, when the price reaches your profit goal, sell it and enjoy your profit. Look at the charts. Zoom out and you will see that bitcoin is always profitable in the long run.
578  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon musk have Just a year to make back his money🙆 on: November 05, 2022, 06:35:16 AM
Twitter's mMAUs (monthly Monetizable Active Users) stands at 450 million. If they pay $8 per month, that gives Elon $3.6B per month. It will take 13 months to make $44B - the purchase price QED. Elon Musk is a genius.
Not everyone will be willing to pay the $8 (trust me, all those blue tick people are capable of paying monthly, but they just won't because they can't stand Elon Musk and hates him just because everyone is hating him), so your calculations are off I guess. Would take more than 13 months. They got to pay to the bills too! So two or more years unless Twitter actually does get more profitable by attracting more users. Since they are going to relaunch vine and also likely to reward content creators, more users might actually join the platform increasing the revenue from ads and sponsorships.
579  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why these coins never touch previous ATH on: November 05, 2022, 05:40:50 AM
-snip-

Dear Friends

Lets discuss this. Most alt coins like these now. Not all. There are real reasons why not touch again ATH. AS per the photo 4$ mark price(ATH).

You need to be more specific instead of saying "these coins". Show us some coins so we know which kind of coins you are talking about. Based on the graph, it is very highly likely a shitcoin that you are talking about. All those coins get pumped and then dumped. Eventually no one trades them and they die in the long run. All most all well known, or at least coins with potential reaches new all time high during a bull market. There might be coins that were over priced before and then later correction takes place. Coins that are usually sold through ICO or something similar has high value initially and then investors starts to dump them causing the price to drop.

My logics are
- Circulating supply increased( Supply increased)
- Project abandoned  by the team
-  More high tech alternatives replace
4. It's a shit coin that was made to scam people.
580  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Minimum deposit and minimum withdrawal. on: November 05, 2022, 04:57:02 AM
Someone with a strict budget of gambling with $10, decides to start online gambling after been told by a friend, but on signing up discovers that the minimum deposit accepted is above the amount budgetted for gambling. Does high minimum deposit fees from online casino discourage gamblers who want to stick to a budget and influences them to gamble with bigger amounts? If yes, and that perhaps is a reason behind many other online casinos keeping their minimum deposits as low as $1, Could low minimum deposit be an encouragement for people to come gamble regardless of the money they have to gamble? Does minimum withdrawal encourage players to try again and keep gambling if they don't win up to the minimum withdrawal?
Very low deposits will only create problems for the casino. If there are no minimum deposit requirement, exploiters and abusers can keep on sending dust amount to crash their deposit system. Things will become expensive for the casino. If there is no minimum withdrawal, abusers will find way to abuse and take advantage of the casino. Imagine thousands of request of 0.1 cent worth of coins.
