1101  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How To Build A Great Crypto Portfolio on: March 04, 2022, 09:02:50 PM
It's simple but requires good discipline,

To build a great crypto portfolio, first is to have some coin(s) you are hodling and not trading, this way, you don’t miss out on the big gains that come with hodling, we all can agree that hodling has made more people richer than trading.
Let's make us of an example, Let’s say, Jane has $100, she can put $50 on some great projects and hold for long, then trade with the remaining $50 and invest her profits in her portfolio, that way, she has a fixed asset and a working capital that she is using to build her portfolio.

On the other hand, there are those who don't actively trade, if you fall under this category, you can however just invest all your money in those good projects and wait for the set time, if you are not wired to actively trade, like myself.

Have a great day and I hope this little tip helps someone out there build that type of portfolio we all see and admire.

Your contributions are welcome.
-snip-

so according to you, holding means having a "great crypto portfolio"? Not really. A good crypto portfolio has nothing to do with holding or trading. As long as you are holding coins that are well developed or has a potential to grow due to its utility and use cases, then you have a good portfolio. If most of your are holding or trading are shitcoins, then you have a bad crypto portfolio. To build a good portfolio, you have to do your own research and select coins that has actual use case and has something new to provide.
1102  Economy / Gambling / Re: What's the new big Cryptocasino to use for a UK player on: March 04, 2022, 03:41:25 AM
So let's say I deposit 100 tonight and win 2000 on Stake, will it screw me over when trying to withdraw?
Highly likely they might notice you when trying to withdraw. 2000 BTC is a lot and they will have to manually process your withdrawals. So in case they want to KYC you, you probably won't be able to pass the KYC verification. They will know you have violated their terms of service and they can "legally" confiscate all your funds. They will most likely allow you to withdraw your last deposit made but will have to forfeit your profit.
1103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be prepared on: March 04, 2022, 02:01:03 AM
Everyone who has been in the market for years know that a sudden rise of price doesn't always mean that the bull run has started. The same is true when the price drops. The current price rise is probably due to the current war that is going on.
No matter how high crypto coins go bear market is unavoidable it's just the way the market survives, many people are brainwashed with present market condition that they already forget what bear market is, no amount of money can stop bear market from happening, don't say I don't warn you be prepared.
No one is brainwashed. You seem to be very disappointed by the current market condition. Don't like that the price is going up because you didn't buy during the dip? Then just don't say anything and wait for the dip again. It will happen like you said.
1104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Real life utility question on: March 03, 2022, 11:35:49 PM
Crypto currencies were never just a speculative currency or "just a hype". Maybe some are (most of the shitcoins actually), but not the ones that are trending, currently in the top. Yes, crypto currencies do have utilities. It is still on their infant stage and much development are needed to make things more perfect.
Is it crypto which is the problem or is it human? Stable coins was created and those can be used by merchants if they want although I don't recommend it for personal reasons. But it is there. It's 1:1. So they won't have any problem with volatility but we don't see much merchants who post signs of "USDT accepted here". In my experience, I haven't seen one.
So, I have a feeling it's not crypto that is the problem but the courage to use it despite the volatility.
Most stable coins are centralized and your wallets can be frozen. It is not "1:1" pegged like they make you believe. Better to pay with fiat currency that to use those centralized currency, right?
1105  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamble what you can afford to lose on: March 03, 2022, 12:19:49 AM
Lol, that "you guys are bad" and "I need $2000 for decoration. Where do I find it?". Sounds more like he is trying to get people to donate him for his wedding. And I am sure he watches lot of things, but doesn't mimic them. He would be saying the same thing if he had won. Anyway, we can't even see if he won the bets or lost. He is an adult capable of making his own decision. He shouldn't be blaming others for his mistake. If he thinks he has gambling problems, tell him to reach out to people that can help him. Ranting on twitter won't get him anywhere.
1106  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where do daytraders store their crypto? on: March 03, 2022, 12:15:39 AM
If you are using a centralized exchange, then you will have to keep it on the exchange until you are done trading. Once you are done, remove them as soon as possible and store them somewhere safe. The chances of your funds getting stolen is low, but the chances of your account getting frozen is higher.
-snip-
i couldnt blame off several people who do have this kind of mindset but i do believe that majority of traders will just leave their coins in the platform as they could able to save up some fees and
wouldnt be having that hassle on withdrawing and depositing once again.
"this kind of mineset"? Lol, even the CEO of a centralized exchange (Kraken) warned  everyone not to store their funds and move their coins out immediately.
1107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: smal USDT balances ?? what to do ?? on: March 02, 2022, 11:39:44 PM
i started accepting crypto payments for my online business, a client paid me 110 USDT, i was unable to convert to BTC sadly using my wallet, and sendindg to kraken will take like 20$ fees (maybe more), what on earth am i supposed to do with those USDT to convert to fiat (as am paying my bills) without losing much of its value ?!?...

thanks,
Even if you could exchange your USDT, I think you will very likely have to pay the fee. You probably accepted the USDT ERC20. The ethereum network fee is sometimes insane.  So if you do wish to transfer your funds, then you have to pay the fee. Keep an eye on the gas fee and pay when the network activity is the least (usually at late night). Or else accumulate more and then exchange (if there is no exchange fee). Next time accept bitcoin or some other coins.
1108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest in new Gaming projects? on: March 02, 2022, 11:34:53 PM
hello everyone i hope you all are doing great I noticed many times the crypto project according to some events always grow like in last few days the project on metaverse is really trending everyone join these projects and everyone makes good profit just because Facebook talks about the metaverse. According to this analysis there is a project named secretworld.network on BSC a gaming project and mostly features are live and i guess due to project nature there is a chance to earn handsome profit so i a thinking to participate in their presale but i am afraid of losing money.so I need suggestions may be you guys know better than me. I also share whitepaper and website link

If you are investing because you think you can earn "handsome profit" from it, then don't. And since you are afraid of losing money, it means you shouldn't be investing anything in crypto currencies or tokens. Invest what only you can afford to lose. You can't afford to lose, that's why you are scared to invest.
1109  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: EBAY might accept BITCOIN on: March 02, 2022, 02:00:19 AM
Hey guys theres a news article stating that ebay might be accepting Bitcoin and other cryptos, if this happens then I believe itll be a game changer for the crypto world. Not sure how credible the article is , has anyone else heard anything similar. Also there was mention of an announcement on march 10 to confirm this. If positive,  We could see a new high even in these times uncertainty .
Should have posted the link where you read about this. But I have been hearing Ebay will be accepting bitcoin for years, but never saw them make a move or do anything about it. Or it is just one of the "may accept" article. We have been reading this kind of articles a lot. Probably a click bait or articles that are trying to spread FOMO (if its from one of those shitty websites) like those bitgirt articles we are seeing everywhere made by analyticsinsight.
1110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When to know Bitcoin has reset? on: March 01, 2022, 02:26:40 AM
I'm learning how to trade crypto and I hear a lot say that it's best to invest in Coins when Bitcoin resets. So what are the signs that Bitcoin is resetting? Not asking when it resets only God knows but when a reset has happened?
What do you mean by reset? You mean after a correction? Correction might happen after sudden price drop or sudden price rise. No one knows when that is going to happen. The market is unpredictable. Stop looking for "signs", "perfect moment", "rest" or other craps. As long as you can afford to invest and lose your investment, put all your money in bitcoin, hold, sit back, relax and watch your profits grow in the long term.
1111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time to reinvest into Altcoins? on: March 01, 2022, 02:22:31 AM
I don't think there is any such thing as "bulltrap". The market is volatile. Expect the price to rise and fall without any prior notice. If you believe that the altcoin you are looking at has some good potential then invest. Remember, most altcoins are long term investment. I mean you have to hold them long term if they really have potential. Only meme and shitcoins rises very and dies very soon. The risk is not worth taking.  Just don't FOMO into any coins. If you do that you will most likely end up investing in the wrong coin and the wrong time.
1112  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting on the war on: March 01, 2022, 02:10:26 AM
This sounds a unethical and messed up. I wonder what kind of people would be placing bets on events like this. Those who bet on Russia hopes that the Russian wins the war? Kill more people? More innocent children? And what kind of casino/sportsbook is that were they are allowing gamblers to place bets on war?
I would say this is wrong and only those who are fucked up would place bets on events like these.
1113  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is now a good time to be investing in Bitcoin? on: March 01, 2022, 12:44:03 AM
Don't wait for the right or "good time" when you think about investing in bitcoin. You see the price now? It's up already by 15%. If you have invested, you already can make profit when you sell it. But don't keep on hoping that the price will keep on rising from now on. The market is volatile and the next hour you might see the price crashing. If you are willing to hold long term, then you can invest in bitcoin anytime without worrying much.
1114  Economy / Gambling / Re: How To Access Sportsbet.io or any kind of gambling without VPN on: February 26, 2022, 04:21:44 PM
Doesn't matter if you are using a VPN or not or some other loopholes to find a way around the restriction. If the casino has KYC policy, sooner or later they will ask you to verify your account. In that case, VPNs won't help you and you will lose access to your account, profits and/or your deposits. So yeah, an extra risk that you will be taking when doing things like this. Is it worth taking those risk?
1115  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You Must be Over 18 years on: February 26, 2022, 03:51:33 PM
I read every Internet gambling had requirements that must be over 18 years. if a child is under that age, how did the website owner know that child was enough to age?. Because I was explored every Internet gambling here that almost didn't require uploading an ID card. A child could be lying by clicking correct sign under the register box.
There is no way to know until the user goes through KYC. Some casinos require you to pass KYC before you can start playing. Some don't until later (read them terms of service!). So yeah, they can start gambling and no one will know. Even if they do have to go through KYC, they will take someone else's help to verify if they have won big. Video games says that they should be above certain age to play that game, but do they verify? Same goes for porn. They don't.
1116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pancakeswap? on: February 26, 2022, 03:47:06 PM
Can someone explain to me this?  I literally see the daily highest net gainers to be coins like shiba tron which are like meme coins as they call it.  Almost all these coins when i check where its traded is almost always on pancakeswap or uniswap.
-snip-
Highest net gainers because they have almost so small liquidity that they can easily be pumped and dumped. Look at the trade volume and you will know.

-snip-
So basically if you want to trade these coins, you have to get account there?  But how are the fees?  Do you need ETH for this?  BTC is no use for those exchanges?
Nope. ETH and BTC can't be used. Pancakeswap is a DEX built on Binance Smart Chain network. So you will need BNB to trade tokens. Fees are less than ETH.
You don't create an account over there. You need a wallet like Metamask that you can connect with the DEX. Setup your Metamask wallet to BSC network, connect your wallet to the DEX and start trading.
1117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins That Go Up When Whole Crypto Market Goes Down? on: February 26, 2022, 07:42:52 AM
So btc prices and likewise altcoin prices has been going down.  As many notice altcoins follow btc directly pretty much.  But when you check on coinmarketcap, they always have a list of top

Trending
Biggest Earners
Recently Added

-snip-
Click in one of those tokens and you will see that they are 100% shitcoins and tokens. See the volume of those coins. They are usually less than $10k. The coins are being pumped by the scammers before they get dumped. Like right now I see three coins over there MetaNFT, Creamefinance and Shibadoge. Based on their names, you should already know they are shitcoins made for scamming people. Clicked on the coins and guess what. The coins are being pumped and dumped.
Don't rely on CMCs "trending biggest earner and recently added" stats.  They are useless.
1118  Economy / Economics / Re: Ban Russia from SWIFT! Protect Ukrainian Sky! Send NATO to Ukraine! on: February 26, 2022, 05:17:08 AM
I am surprised they didn’t do the SWIFT ban on Russian since they all did the sanctions and they also forbid to do business with many Russian banks.

Why do they refuse to ban SWIFT exactly? They are afraid some companies will have trouble sending and receiving money from banks? But aren’t they sanctioned anyways from doing business with Russia anyways. This is what I don’t understand.

I hope you stay safe. Hope this conflict ends soon.
Not every "business" has been sanctioned. So they still need the banking system. And then some EU countries like Germany (not confirmed) are opposing the ban because the ban will do more harm to their economy than to Russia due to them being dependent on energy. And even if they did ban Russia from SWIFT, they would be able to use other means for bank to bank transaction. And don't forget. They have China with them and they can start using CIPS for cross border transaction.
1119  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Any way to track down a guy on Binance on: February 26, 2022, 03:01:13 AM
If you are quite confident that he used Binance exchange, their contacting Binance. They might be able to do something maybe, at least freeze the scammers funds/account if you can provide appropriate proof to them. But I doubt they will hand over the funds without getting any legal notice from your local authorities. They will freeze is so that the scammer can't withdraw or move the funds somewhere else. So your only option is to contact your local police and get their help to extract your funds from Binance. Since KYC is now mandatory in Binance, it would be easy to catch the scammer.
1120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbie Come to Crypto What they should do first? on: February 26, 2022, 02:36:13 AM
They should first know what crypto currencies are, how they work and how to keep their assets (cryptocurrencies) safe. Before investing anything they should know the risks associated with it. The volatility of the market can sometimes make newbies scared/frustrated.
-snip-
My friend ask me, what coin he should buy , but I am not really sure for now because I'm entering cryptocurrency 3 years ago. Too many coin right now that make me confusing
You mean you haven't kept yourself updated for last three years? Or did you join three years ago? I am guessing it probably is the former. In that case, nothing much has changed. Yes, there are many coins right now but most of them are useless or shitcoins that adds no value to the current crypto ecosystem. Tell your friend to stick with top altcoins such as bitcoin and ethereum. Remind him not to invest anything that he can't afford to lose.
