1041  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Around The World on: March 23, 2022, 04:19:13 AM
How do they actually know how many crypto currency users are there? I think it is far from accurate unless they are using data from exchanges (still won't be accurate since not everyone uses an exchange, but some at one point does). If this is based on number of wallets, then keep you know, one users can have multiple wallets. Like 20 or 100s of them. So I doubt coming to any conclusion based on this chart would mean anything.
1042  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to know which bounty campaign to join ?? on: March 22, 2022, 05:42:28 AM
Why waste your time looking for bounty campaign? Most of the bounty campaign pay very bad. Most of them pays using their own token. If  that project fails, so does all your work for them. It is a huge risk. Even if the project doesn't fail, you would be spending time to earn very little. You would have earned something more if you had spent that time doing something else. Something more efficient.
1043  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Happens to One's Bitcoin if Death Occurs? on: March 22, 2022, 05:38:46 AM
The only way your bitcoin won't be lost after your death is to share the seed or the key with someone you really. But once you do that, you no longer are the only owner of the coins. You both own the coins. You have to either give up your keys or you have to take your bitcoin with you to the grave.
-snipe-
3) Include your crypto investments in a will.

4) Use wallets that have inheritance plans.
-snipe-
3. How does that work? You mean share with more people your seed or keys?

4. Never heard of any such "decentralized" wallet.
1044  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling Sites on: March 22, 2022, 05:25:17 AM
Please! Is there any gambling site that I can easily sign up? I tried Gamdom.com but it is not opening either it is only loading since morning...so, I need a site that I can access easily.
Try CryptoGames if you haven't. You don't need to signup if you want to test the casino. Set a username and start playing with Playmoney. If you like what you see there, then set up your email and password to secure your account and start depositing. Takes like literally 2 minutes to complete everything. You can start playing as soon as your deposit has required number of confirmation. You can withdraw whenever you want without any limit.
1045  Economy / Economics / Re: You need to understood world is business and priorirty money and profit on: March 22, 2022, 04:55:39 AM
Cute how you say Putin will be removed like it is something that is going to be very easy. Do you really think Putin will give up his throne very easily? Not going to happen anytime soon.
And yes, the world is business. Profit and money is the priority for most of the people. Even though it does sound sad, it is true. Some will admit, some won't. There are people (countries) that won't hesitate to do anything for money and power. After all, money buys everything. Even respect.
1046  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your favorite casino reviewer here in Bitcointalk? on: March 19, 2022, 04:41:42 PM
Weird to see some of the casinos that has been accused of scamming here (and with lots of negative trust and flags) being listed as the "best casino" over there.
Are you sure they are all "not" biased or paid for reviewing them as the best casino? Some of them has outdated information or doesn't bother updating the information. Would be nice to see more reviewers that places unbiased reviews (or paid reviews). Most of them places the casino on the top if they are given "better affiliate" deals like good RS with no fee.
1047  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should Casinos invest on endorsement from celebrities on: March 19, 2022, 04:34:56 PM
Should casinos invest in the endorsement of celebrities just like what Stakes is doing or it's better to just stick with giveaways contests and maintain their reputation, we know we all know the high cost of celebrity endorsement should other casinos follow Stake's lead to partner or pay celebrities to promote them.
If the casino can afford to do that, then why not? It is a form of advertising. A form of investment to increase users and traffic to the casino.
They can stick with giveaway contest (contests don't maintain reputation by the way), but that will only attract only few new users and mostly users that has already been playing on the casino. On other hand, celebrities will help spread the word about the casino to larger audience from different places that follow them. If a hardcore fan sees their celebrity is promoting something, I am sure they will be curious, look it up and maybe start playing there.
1048  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why Does This Always happen? on: March 19, 2022, 04:10:39 PM

Like the image above, it's happens to me almost all the time and I don't know if any one here can relate? At times, it's really frustrating and I feel like "maybe some witches are out there preventing me from making profit off my investment" 😂.

So what you all think? Do you experience this kind of stuffs too? Feel free to share your story with us.
The graph seems to show how meme or shitcoins actually work. Pump and Dump.
But yeah, the graph also seems to be true for people that FOMO or falls for FUDs. They see the price going up, the start selling because of greed and fear that the price might crash, but that doesn't happen. The price keeps on going up and they regret selling. Then there are people that see the price skyrocketing, they FOMO and go all in at the wrong time. The market starts to correct and they lose.
1049  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alt market today on: March 19, 2022, 03:56:22 PM
It's not a bull or a bear trap. It is something very normal. The price didn't go up very much. If you have been in the market for a while you would know that small rise and fall of the price means nothing. The crypto market is very volatile and things like this happen. If you are day trading, then take advantage of this volatility to make some quick profit. If you are just a holder, forget about those and just keep holding until you reach your profit goal.
1050  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Hoard Bitcoin? on: March 19, 2022, 06:29:26 AM
If Bitcoin is a better and higher currency than fiat, why then do bitcoiners hurdle it?
I think money is best used for buying and selling not hoarding, we get to see the value more when using it.
This my thoughts, wby?
It is better than fiat in many ways, but currently is not used as regular currency like fiat due to various reasons. One on them is that people are not willing to accept bitcoin when making payment due to different reasons such as volatility and hard to understand regulation. But eventually solutions will be found for the problems and then bitcoin and crypto currencies will become mainstream causing the price of bitcoin to rise. This is what all those "hoarders" (holders) know and thus they are buying more bitcoin to maximize their profit in the future.
1051  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the purpose of all these altcoins? on: March 19, 2022, 04:39:53 AM
And I am especially talking about those memecoins like dogecoin, shiba inu and those other coins that pump and dump in those shiba doge and those make up coin names?  There is zero purpose of these coins.  They had that squid game token I believe.  What is the purpose of these coins?  It literally sounds like someone creating a video game and making up coins.  The worst part is you have people buying these coins to most likely try to make a profit and then sell since rarely are these coins meant for holding.

Not only that, these coins have no usage.  When there are coins called bluecoin and greencoin, what exactly is the purpose of these?  The only coins that make sense is btc and litecoin.  I don't even know why ETH is a coin since its not like currency.  Ripple for example does seem like a coin since it seems like a penny or nickle so to speak.  I know there are tons of those memecoins are pancakeswap and uniswap and many of these coins are top earners for the day before they later all go down.  Are there many that even stay up?

Anyone can make up coins but why is anyone even buying any of these?  If dogecoin has no real use... then none of those other coins have any use.  So why do these new coins keep showing up?
Most of the memecoins are made to scam people. Quick pump and dump scheme. People invest in those coins with the hope of getting rich. But only few lucky ones that act quick make some profit, while rest of them loses everything. None of those meme coins survives long enough. They all eventually die. Dogecoin has no real use case, but it was the first meme coin and so it has a huge advantage along with a strong community support. Shiba is also another meme coin, but they also have a huge community and actively wants to develop it and bring actual use cases.
Those coin keep on showing up because it is a decentralized market and no one can stop them from making a new coin.
1052  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: P2E gaming is rising, big names like Ubisoft and EA Sports are joining... 👀 on: March 18, 2022, 11:17:01 PM
It's no surprise that 'Play2Earn' games are doing well, the crypto space has become normalised and people are looking for ways to build their crypto portfolio for the future. These games reward players with valuable tokens for playing and competing, the best thing about it is the fact anyone can earn these tokens without investing their money. I recently discovered a game called 'NFTshootout', this is perfect for beginners in the P2E space as it doesn't require bags of skill and can make you a lot of crypto! The game is currently in the early beta but is preparing for the full release in the next few months, updates are dropping this month with the implementation of Unreal Engine 5 and the NFT marketplace. The team is constantly building and interacting with their great community that they built from the ground up, they are fully doxed and experienced people that want this game to succeed! Anyone can now join their scholarship program for free and get involved with the community 🔥
So what play to earn games are Ubisoft and EA developing? Because your post mentions nothing about them other than a game called "NFTshootout" which I doubt Ubisoft or EA developed because no one has heard of it.
Anyway, you won't be earning much from P2E games. No one gives out free money for playing games. Yes, you might get lucky and earn something big, but that's a rare case. In most of the cases you will be earning peanuts. And I am sure as more people starts to join, the less you will be earning. And only those you invests in those games will be earning the most (while taking some sort of risks). So you join early, you earn something if you are lucky. Or else you have to invest to earn something significant.
1053  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Ethereum on: March 18, 2022, 06:20:56 AM
Bitcoin is not necessarily better than Ethereum, but everyone supports bitcoin because it is the birthplace of the cryptocurrency market, creating a world of financial freedom for us thanks to the concept of decentralization. Satoshi is the creator of bitcoin but he is completely anonymous and no longer visible, which makes bitcoin safer than many other altcoins. Ethereum has Vitalik Buterin and he is still the head and most important developer of ETH. It would be some kind of risk that if he announced his departure from ETH or something happened to him, ETH would fail.
You should know that not everyone supports bitcoin. There are people that are against bitcoin. Some says it is too slow, that it has no any use case other than buying and selling while other blames it for "environmental damages". Most of them hates or doesn't support bitcoin because they really don't know how bitcoin works or only because they never invested in it when they had the chance to and now they are bitter. The same case for ETH, but ETH is shifting to PoS.
Because bitcoin uses blockchain technology, that made bitcoin more appealing than ethereum. And secondly, because it brings financial freedom to those early adopters in bitcoin, the reason why most of the people now trust more bitcoin than ethereum. Though these two coins have always been dominating in the market, but its very clear that bitcoin still has the highest value in the crypto market.
What? Ethereum doesn't use the blockchain technology?
1054  Economy / Economics / Re: Economic crisis its good on: March 18, 2022, 05:37:28 AM
You are saying almost the opposite. First of all, economic crisis is never good. Who told you things are going to be cheap? Even if they are cheap, no one would be able to afford anything becase of high unemployment rate. There won't be any jobs for anyone. Those you have jobs, they won't be earning enough to save anything.
Local things cheap cheap houses cheap local food cheap workers.
Everything will be cheap, but you will be paid even cheaper. You won't be able to afford it.
Real estate will get biggest hit in the world as all real estate is 80% bubble so 80% correction is asap as we all know this.
Where did you learn all these things from? Start learning again, but from a legit or valid source.
1055  Economy / Economics / Re: Ukraine has legalized the cryptosector on: March 17, 2022, 10:50:24 PM
I thought they made it (or were making) crypto currencies legal before the war started. But weren't crypto currencies already legal over there? Or did they belong to the grey area? Because I have seen many Ukrainian based exchanges swapping between coins or digital wallets like paypal.
Anyway, good move by the government. At least the citizens will be able to protect their assets if they hold everything in bitcoin. Would have been better if they made it a legal tender. Eventually though will happen.
1056  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling in METAVERSE on: March 17, 2022, 04:30:16 AM
Sounds kind of fun, but also weird. I doubt any serious gamblers would want to gamble in a metaverse. Too much distraction for them. And reputation of the casino also matters a lot for them. Maybe for fun, some might gamble in metaverse casinos, but real gamblers would avoid those and play at those traditional online casinos.
I wonder how many angry gamblers we will be seeing on a metaverse casino. Their angry reactions would be funny watch when they lose and start blaming the casino.
1057  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blockchain Casinos - Consumer's Choice! on: March 17, 2022, 03:04:34 AM
Hi guys!

We are CasinosBlockchain.io, we publish news about blockchain gaming, guides, reviews of casinos where you can play with Bitcoin and altcoins, as well as those using blockchain-based technology for things like provably fair games, which often go hand-in-hand.

Last year, we created a set of five awards recognizing the best casinos at offering cryptocurrency payments and integrating blockchain technology into your player experience - The Blockchain Casino Awards.

With these awards, we aimed to raise awareness towards best practices, highlighting brands that go above and beyond to offer the best cryptocurrency gambling experience.

This year The Blockchain Casino Awards are back and we want to add a new section - YOUR choice as a user. This poll will help us understand what is the Consumer’s Choice when it comes to Blockchain Casinos.

Any other feedback or ideas? Leave your comments below!

Stay tuned for more news about The Blockchain Casino Awards 2022!
You might want to add CryptoGames on the list.

Is this a new platform? Just curious how are rankings and ratings given on your website? I don't think the list are frequently updated. The details of CryptoGames seems to be outdated. You may want to update the review. Head over to CryptoGames or the official ANN thread and look at the new updates.
1058  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: potential moonshots on: March 17, 2022, 01:37:18 AM
If you are willing to gamble small amount, then you don't even need to do your own research like everyone is saying here. You are clearly looking for some shitcoins that will make you rich overnight. Look for some shitty BSC coins. Invest in those and pray that you don't get scammed (which is very likely).
Why not invest those "small amount" in one of those top altcoins? Even those "small amounts" in the long run might give you massive profit. If you had invested 100$ in bitcoin few years ago, you would have made some good profit today.
1059  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Its time to go in crypto lets leave fiat cutrency on: March 17, 2022, 12:47:53 AM
Im ready lets go but also assets prices need to reset and then again slowly to gain value of prices.
So we buy  house with. 10 doge coins so its equal to 500k yes there will be more people who against this they might say its not fair ...but we dont care life is not fair.
Im ready to go full in crypto and im sure all u are ready to get all the assets in the world for crypto.

As war situation fiat curremcy might not used anyways for sometime in some european countries to get properties with btc
What do you mean by reset? Lol, the price to go back to zero and then "slowly gain value"? What value are you talking about if you want to leave fiat. If there is no fiat, then the value of 1 bitcoin would be 1 bitcoin. You say you want to leave fiat currency, but then again you compare the value of doge coin with fiat currency.
Just because you are ready to go full crypto doesn't mean the whole world is. In fact base on your post, it looks like you are no where near ready to go full crypto.
1060  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will NFTs be available on Instagram soon? on: March 17, 2022, 12:35:33 AM
NFTs on centralized platform. At least they will help spread the word and more people will know about NFTs. This is probably going to be the part of the facebook Metaverse. But haven't been hearing much about the metaverse, other than lots of criticism.
Wondering is it going to be like a market place where users can buy the NFT version of the users posts? Based on how they failed on the past making their own coin Libra, let's see how well this one goes.
