1061  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: That is why play to earn concept is a massive failure on: March 16, 2022, 05:09:45 AM
They are all literally the same. You are right, just with different design but the same concept (except for few). Honestly, most people are not here for the game. They are here for the money. Like you said, early adopters if lucky are able to make some quick profit from it. Rest will have to invest a lot to make some profit which isn't guaranteed. Playing for free gives you almost peanuts. But I have read articles online where they say that those play to earn games have helped them during the pandemic to make some money. I guess at least those money is worth something in underdeveloped countries.
1062  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: long period staking in Binance exchange on: March 16, 2022, 05:05:05 AM
Well not your keys, not your coins. If you are comfortable storing your coins in an exchange and staking it, then go ahead, do it. There are risks involved. Chances of losing your funds are low, but there is still always the chance of it to happen. If it some coins that you can stake easily using your wallet, then I would suggest you do that. Or else use binance and stake over there. But remember, if you really want to support the network, then stake on small pools to make the network truly decentralized. The more people will stake using an exchange, the more power they will give to the exchange. And sometimes you might earn more when staking from your own wallets.
1063  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Its Possible ALT Coin Chased Previous ATH in 2022 on: March 16, 2022, 12:25:54 AM
Do you really think people over here can answer your question? You are asking questions no one can answer. If they knew the answer, they would all start investing in altcoins and become rich within the end of the year. The prices of Altcoins might or might not chase the previous ATH in 2022. Just invest or if you have already invested, then keep holding until it reaches the previous ATH. As long as you haven't invested in any shitcoin, you shouldn't worry about anything. In the long run good crypto currencies will give you some nice profit.
1064  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elizabeth Warren hatred for crypto is like no other on: March 14, 2022, 09:57:03 PM
Don't tell me you have nothing to say about Elizabeth Warren, she is yet again throwing stones at crypto claiming that Russia can use crypto to evade sanctions, FUD? But it's said that Ukraine got up to 20million in crypto donations, why can't see just support this instead of FUD?
It is because people pay more attention to FUDs and negative news. But how is this FUD when Russia can use crypto currencies to evade sanctions? I mean doesn't it prove that Crypto currencies are more superior than fiat currency and no government or anyone can stop anyone from using their own money? Doesn't sound like an FUD but more like people should be FOMOing because Russians will be ditching their fiat currency and start using bitcoin.
1065  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pi network on: March 14, 2022, 06:13:20 AM
A shit token based on a scam project. And a weird way to make an announcement. If you are official representative, then why would you tell people to google it and learn about it instead of posting more information about your (shit) project? Probably something fishy on your website. I would suggest everyone to stay away from projects like theses. Investing here would only encourage more scams.
1066  Economy / Economics / Re: Bank’s failure on: March 12, 2022, 05:07:14 PM
Today we have witnessed how easy is for the banks to freeze all assets that people rely on. The economy across the globe will change, trading will be much more difficult given the current situation. Over the last few years a lot of people have been affected by disrupting events and virus outbreak being unable to work and earn to support their families. It comes to the point where trusting the banks will no longer apply. Even there is war or not, the population still needs to work, travel and move money where needed. Other people have to travel from one country to another and if credit/debit cards are suspended, there will be no trade. The problem occurred in 2008 is just around the corner waiting to burst again but this time is different. We have to look at alternative ways to produce and distribute energy.
It is not the first time the banks have frozen assets of other people. This is what happens when you use something centralized. You don't have power over your own assets. It is someone else that will always have control of your assets. They seize or freeze it at their own will and you can't say anything. This is why decentralized currencies like bitcoins are considered superior when it comes to cases similar to this. But if you store your coins in a centralized exchange, you face the same problem once again. The centralized exchange can freeze your funds and account if they want or if they are ordered by the law. To have full control of your funds, always store your coins in a wallet where only you have access to your keys.
1067  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Bitcoin transfer value on: March 12, 2022, 04:55:18 PM
Your "forex" account will be credited based on the current value of bitcoin when it reaches your account and has the required number of confirmation. If the value of btc was $100 when you sent and it went up to $102 by the time it reaches the required network confirmation, your account will be credited with $102.
I transferred via Blockchain where the fee was automatically calculated at checkout. I didn't see an option to enter a fee myself. Is this an account specific feature?
Not account specific. You can set your fee manually. Refer to the picture omegastar quoted and click on "Customize fee" to set your own fee. Blockchain.info wallet shows fee based on sat/byte. Use priority if you want to include your transaction within next block. Or you can set more than recommended priority fee manually to guarantee your transaction to be included within the next block. But make sure you don't overpay in fees. Overpaying changes nothing. Google current bitcoin fee sat/b and you might get some good recommendation on fee.
1068  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: It seems that more people taking crypto trading as full time job on: March 12, 2022, 04:15:23 PM
During the situation around the world where low payed jobs more people looking for opportnuties to work online.
And crypto is one of them options

Ifyou dont know how to trade good use good signals for spot and futures trading right now many people become traders.
-snip-
That is the worst advice you can give to someone. One shouldn't turn trading a full time job. Trading won't give you guaranteed profit every month. There is always a chance you won't be making anything. In that case how will you be paying your bills?

And no, signals are not good for trading. If you are talking about those signal group, those are mainly pump and dump groups where the top leaders take advantage (scam) of the others that follows the signal. You can never become a trader just following signals.
1069  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and her sisters: Why do most governments hate her? on: March 12, 2022, 02:33:50 PM
Can anyone make digital coins? I don't know. What's its circulation mechanism? And who's her guarantor? I don't know.

That's how a pedestrian says on a street in Cairo, echoing questions that many might think of. But what if governments make these coins? The verse may turn.

In general, most countries in the world deal with popular digital currencies, such as Bitcoin and Ethereum.

https://www.nwscoin.com/2022/03/bitcoin-and-her-sisters-why-do-most.html
Yes, anyone can make digital or crypto currencies. The circulation method and everything is predetermined. In a decentralized network, everyone involved is her guarantor.
Now if a government make these kind of coins, it is very highly likely going to be a centralized coin. In this case the government will control the supply and be the guarantor. This gives the government the power to control everything. But in case of bitcoin and most alt coins being decentralized, the government has no power over it. Hence they hate those decentralized coins.
1070  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stay away from crypto influencers on: March 12, 2022, 12:55:28 PM
I bet 99% of those influencers don't even know what blockchain or crypto currencies are. They don't even know what they are promoting. They get paid, they start saying scripted shit about how cool that coin is and how fast it can make you rich and so on. And sadly there are people that follow those influencers and falls for their trap.
Even if you are following an influencer that makes legit contents, make sure do your own research before making any investment or you will end up losing everything.
1071  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The altcoins with a good potential. on: March 12, 2022, 12:34:49 PM
Hello,
Can anyone introduce a list of alcoins with some zeros (0.000...) that have a good potential for 2022?

Thank you.
You are looking for a coin with many zeros? Sure, go to coinmarketcap and look for a shit coins that has trillions of supply.
You do know that having lot of zeros means nothing? Invest on some good coins and hold them for long term.
You will make profit. But if you choose a shitcoin, high chance you will loose all your money. And people over here will suggest coins that they have invested in even if it's a shitcoin. Like look at one user, suggesting you to invest in bitgert.
1072  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: whats your opinion ? on: March 12, 2022, 12:24:24 PM
If you think the price of link is going to go up eventually, then what you can do is buy more during this crash and drop your average buy price. Keep holding until you reach your profit goal. The same goes for ADA. If you think ADA has a future, then invest some of your money on ADA, stake it, hold it and wait.
If you are looking for a safer option, then hold all your link and invest rest of your money on Bitcoin. Hold both for long term and enjoy your profit in the long run.
1073  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What should I invest in? on: March 11, 2022, 11:52:37 PM
Looks like you are not ready to invest in anything. You can't just go around asking people what is the "best" coin to invest in. People will give you biased answer. They will tell you to invest in coins that they have invested in. Even if it is a shitcoin and they know it, they will tell you to invest in those coins.
Why not make a list of coins, choose some and then do your own research before investing? Ask about a specific coin. Look at the community and see how active it is. You will know if a coin is a pump and dump coin or if it is a real coin with good use cases by just looking at the community.
Best coin I would suggest: Bitcoin.
1074  Economy / Speculation / Re: No FUDs will win the market on: March 11, 2022, 11:20:00 PM
FUDs are something that will exist forever. People will spread FUDs and people will fall for FUDs. There is nothing we can do. We can't stop people from not fearing or panicking. Those fears and doubts are very normal to have.
We are still surrounded by these things, fake news, and market manipulations but to look at how they respond to this, they remain calm and that is how to see the market never went down too fast, instead it stays calm and still healthy.
Not everyone is the same. Different people react different way emotionally. Sure, one can remain calm for a day. But if they keep on seeing the price crashing and read those news, they will eventually start to panic and sell their investments. Sometimes it is better to exit than to force yourself to remain calm.
1075  Economy / Economics / Re: Sanctions left and right, Can the Russian economy survive? on: March 11, 2022, 10:46:40 PM
You think that Russia started the war all of a sudden without thinking. He has been preparing himself for this for years. He was aware of all the consequences he would face. So he already has all the alternative needed right on his hands. He has China with him, which is going to be a huge backup for him. Like, when Master and Visa decided to stop providing them services, Putin has already started to work with Unipay, a Chinese owned payment processor. Yes, Russia will survive the economy in the long run. And if they decide to use crypto currencies, it will be more easy for them to survive.
1076  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: REASON WHY ALTCOIN MARKET HARD TO SPECULATE on: March 11, 2022, 04:22:07 AM
That is not true. Most altcoins that are "shitcoins" or "scamcoins" have fixed rate of coins that can be minted everyday. Again, there are also other altcoins that has fixed supply. Just because the developer wants to change the supply, doesn't mean he can. If the coin is truly decentralized, as long as majority of opposes the change, the supply of the coins cannot be changed. If the developer changes it, then people will move away from the coin because they know its a huge risk when just one person can control the whole supply of the coin.
1077  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading should be supported by goverment on: March 10, 2022, 09:14:53 PM
Trading should be supported by goverment
What trading are you talking about? I don't think there are any government where they banned any sort of trading.
Also should be some kind of reward or insurance kind of system if you lose you dont lose your own funds but they are free this way more people want to trade.
Lol, what? Then there is no risk and only profit. Everyone would be trading and the price would keep on increasing. Doesn't make sense at all.
Goverment can easy support traders with traders social support allowonce i name it tssa allowonce monthly to spend like 1000-10k or if you have business account then even more support
Once again doesn't make sense. You want to trade with money that you receive for free. Meaning no risk at all.
1078  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest in new projects? on: March 10, 2022, 09:09:41 PM
If you are afraid of losing money then don't invest. Only invest what you can afford to lose. Since you are afraid, it means you can't afford to lose. And no, not everyone is making that "handsome" profit from metaverse projects that you are talking about. In fact most people are losing money investing in those new metaverse project as most of them turns out to be either a scam or a shit project. How many metaverse projects do you see on the the top 20 list? Few.
This might be another shit project. So stay away from this one.
1079  Economy / Economics / Re: Never expect you to be rich without investment on: March 10, 2022, 09:01:24 PM
It is true, you need to invest in order to "be rich". You can't work all day and be rich enough. You might think that saving money in the bank will make you rich. But that is not true. If you keep all your money in bank, in the long run, you will be losing money. Investing those money instead will give you better returns than saving it in the banks. But with those returns comes risk. So don't expect investing being risk free. The more risk you take, the higher the chance of becoming rich.
1080  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Police can confiscate refugees' valuables. bitcoin not affected... on: March 10, 2022, 05:45:01 PM
These days people keep asking where does bitcoin come in amidst the conflicts such as the one in Ukraine. Here is another case:
In Denmark, there is a law that allows police to forcefully take anything refugees, asylum seekers, immigrants, ... have that is worth more than ~$1k to supposedly "funds their stay". It's known as the "jewelry law".
Meanwhile bitcoin doesn't take up any space, it can be 12 words that you memorize or write down in a book spread among pages without anybody knowing what it is and can not be confiscated. All one's net-worth could be carried around like this. Grin
This why bitcoin is superior when it comes to things like this. No one can confiscate your coins as long as you keep it safe. You can hide your seed phrase by spreading the words around (memorizing it would be a little risky, don't you think?) and making storing them in multiple "things". You wouldn't even need to spread the words. You can write it somewhere and I doubt anyone would notice or care what it is.
But I always wondered, when someone moves from one country to another, how do they "move" their coins legally to that country. Do they declare that they hold bitcoins at the immigration or something?
