941  Economy / Gambling / Re: Another New Rule On Gambling Adverts Ban Celebrities and Sports Stars on: April 30, 2022, 02:53:06 AM
They have their reason and yeah, they are right in this case. Kids and teenagers see those celebrities and sport stars very highly and tend to follow what they do. If they see them promoting casinos and gambling, they will believe that gambling is a normal thing to do everyday and it might affect their future. They might want to try and play in casinos just to experiment out of curiosity. This curiosity could end up making them a gambling addict.
942  Economy / Gambling / Re: The most trusted casinos on BTalk on: April 30, 2022, 02:40:03 AM
Hello there. Basically title says it all. The question is targetting veterans on this forum with more experience than me.
If you could take a few minutes and write a list of the most trusted casinos, I would appreciate a lot.
I'm pretty new here and from what i've seen so far, 1xbit, bitstarz and a few more are not really accepted in the gambling community because they have bad reputation. This is for my website that will come out in a few weeks Grin

Thank you!
I don't think anyone would want to make a list for you. Google for bitcoin casinos. You will find a list of different review sites. Choose some and then look for reviews on those casino in the forum. Look at their announcement thread and see when they were formed. The older the better. Check their trust rating and then you will know if they are scamming people or not. If you haven't you can try cryptogames. Have been around the forum and operating for years.
943  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Horse Racing and Gambling on it should be banned on: April 30, 2022, 02:18:10 AM
I was spending some time with my friends parents and there was not only a huge party but all of them placed p2p bets on the horse racing. They asked me to come over as well, the ending was deeply sad and essential to cover : The horse died after winning of a heart attack.

The horse was presenting signs of heart attack on the camera but no one was actually even giving it a second thought and at the end when it was the last lap, all the horses got whipped excessively hard as well. That gets me to my point "why do you support horse racing?" This is honestly far to cruel to continue.

According the this site: https://www.horsedeathwatch.com/background.php they have seen more than 2000 deaths in around 5500 days. Most of the horses die during the match as well, they also have instances where they are exploited using drugs (doping).

Are you aware that most of the horses go through slaughter as well? Some of them have very bad injuries making them not even the least bit useful for the business therefore they are killed without second thought. I do hope people would get more aware and try and steer away from *horse racing*.
True. I never liked any "competitive" sports where animals were involved. All they do is torture those poor animals for their own satisfaction. Those who watch those are equally to be blamed for all the pain they cause to the animals. Worst are the people that places bets on those games.
They get euthanized, not killed by them. If they suffer from some injuries that can't be reversed, they are put down so they don't suffer in pain anymore.
This is a very ancient sport/game. It is not going to get banned. Probably never. Lots of football players die of heart attack every year. They run like horses too. The are many similarities between a horse race and a soccer game. Just because footballers die sometimes, do we need to ban football/soccer? This logic don't make any sense to me.
You are kidding here right? I mean, you are just making fun of soccer/football?
The difference is the players chose to play, but the horses had no choice. If lots of players died of heart attack every year, they would have already banned the game.
944  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Isn't it a pain to remember difficult and long passwords for each new platform? on: April 30, 2022, 12:58:58 AM
But don't worry; it won't happen again. Future?! NO...!

I discovered a fantastic platform called Hypersign, and they are developing an Omnichain Decentralized Identity Infrastructure and working on a passwordless mechanism.

Visit their website for more information: https://hypersign.id
You don't have to remember anything if you are using a password manager. Not sure why anyone would use this. Those password managers can store your password locally, so no one has access to it except you. Just confused, how is this platform going to help with passwords? Will your passwords be store in a an online chain? Then what's the advantage between them and a password manager that also stores your password in the cloud (other than being decentralized)?
945  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: So Many Exchanges out there on: April 29, 2022, 03:17:14 AM
This is newbie talk, so don't kill me. I want to learn, but it seems so complicated.

I want to  - sell BTC for ETH, and then sell that ETH for more BTC than I started the trade with. Sounds like a simple way to start, yet I know it won't be.

My biggest concern is that there are so many exchanges. How the heck do I know which ones will pay me after I make an exchange? I know I have to check their reserve balance, but what else should I look for?

If it's not a lot, and if you are comfortable using a centralized exchange, then use a centralize exchange to make the trade. There are some exchanges that you can use without verifying or passing KYC as long as you don't deal with fiat currency. Or you can try using an instant exchange. The rates are usually the worst though, but faster and easier to use. If you don't feel comfortable using a centralized exchange, use a DEX but you will have to know somethings which are simple but might sound complicated. Google some exchanges and read their reviews.
946  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bear market every team will pump their own coin on: April 29, 2022, 03:13:26 AM
You mean those 1  to 3 scam coins(actually moren than 3, like 99% of those altcoins) team (scammers consisting of like 3 or 4 peoples) are going to pump their small marketcap token through manipulation and fool those poor investors to fall for their scam tokens? We have seen things like this happen a lot. Just go to cmc and you will see some random shitty token has gained over thousand percentage and when you check the marketcap and the volume you will know it is just few guys trying to manipulate the price.
Suggesting people to join them is the worst suggesting you can give. All you are doing is encouraging those scammers to scam more people by filling the market with shitcoins.
947  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What did cause a massive pump for dogecoin? on: April 29, 2022, 02:54:22 AM
Elon buying twitter caused the massive pump for dogecoin. People speculated that Elon will do something with dogecoin and twitter. They all bought it, and the price went up. Others that were holding doge for quite a while was waiting for this opportunity to dump their coins and take all their profit. The price went down already. I believe Dogecoin is going to be very volatile for the next few months. But I am quite sure it will go up when Elon does mention something about crypto currencies. Twitter was already experimenting tipping users with crypto currencies. Dogecoin was initially used for tipping users in different community forum.
948  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Fiat Will Always Be The Norm on: April 29, 2022, 02:43:06 AM
True. Fiat isn't going anywhere. It will eventually be obsolete but that would be after many decades. Until them, fiat will be mainstream. Cryptocurrencies will also be used, but it won't be replacing the fiat nor the banks. Instead the banks will start to adopt crypto currencies but in a centralized way and sadly most people will choose this centralized way because they are too lazy to learn and understand how crypto currencies work. All they know would be that it is a store of value and will give it to the bank to hold it for them. But eventually, crypto currencies will be used as regular currency, and hence will be able to replace fiat one day.
949  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon and and how this "dude" could effect bitcoin in the future? on: April 29, 2022, 02:12:37 AM
You will agree Elon has really inspired many people to bitcoin his pro or against bitcoin tweet directly reflect the red and green candles on bitcoin charts.

With owning this huge platform of Twitter he can either break it or make it. I think.

Let if adopts "doge" as some kind of default crypto currency for Twitter it will be huge move and might effect bitcoin bigtime.

Or let say if come to sense and realizes the truth and embrace bitcoin I can't imagine how huge the green candle will be.
If Elon says something about Bitcoin and twitter, I am almost sure that the price of bitcoin will start skyrocketing and people will start praising him. But when he will say a something against bitcoin, even if it is true, the price will crash and those who FOMOed into bitcoin will start cursing him because they will lose a lot. So yeah, we can either break it or make it like he did when he started accepting bitcoin in Tesla and then few weeks later he stopped.
950  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New generational scamming system in form of airdrops on: April 29, 2022, 12:29:49 AM
Lately, I have come across fake airdrops which they requires users and participants to perform some task and promote their project and at the end they will pay them with their free token which will be airdrop to their wallet which the price and value of the token most of the time shows on the users wallet.
My question here is how do the airdrop owners use in sending a locked token to users wallet?
How come they list the token on exchange other than Dex like Bitmart, Bitforex etc?
What do the projects owners gain from such airdrops.
Example of such toke s are
1. Terk
2. Metamusk
3. Menerum Bsc
4. MetaUFO
Etc.
And most it this tokens promise participants a certain period of time when the token is going to be unlocked 🔓 but it never happen.
Nothing new. Those aren't decentralized tokens. They can unlock the tokens for themselves and send it as an airdrop which also means that they can lock the tokens whenever they want and sell their tokens and exit with all the profit. So it is never safe to invest in those tokens. Most of them will end up scamming their users. Avoid those tokens. Not even worth collecting those tokens as an airdrop. If you do receive them, sell them as soon as you can.
951  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any altcoin to be millionere by holding up to 5 years from now ? on: April 28, 2022, 02:43:44 AM
Yeah sure, there are lots of altcoins that you can hold up to 5 years to become a millionaire. Why not invest in around 400 ETH and keep holding? I am sure you will become a millionaire within the next few years. Or forget about altcoins, just hold 20 to 30 BTC and you will end up being a multimillionaire within 5 years. Can almost guarantee that.
Jokes aside, it is almost impossible to say which altcoin from now holding for 5 years will make you a millionaire. You have to be very lucky to find a coin that currently has a very small marketcap but good potential. Try looking at the list of the coins with small marketcap and study them. Look for coins that are unique and is trying to offer something most of the other coins can't. Invest in it and hope that they don't fail.
952  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to $DOGE after Elon Musk bought Twitter? on: April 26, 2022, 02:08:43 PM
The cryptocurrency market fell under pressure in the early trading hours on April 25, but a brief spurt of bullish price action sparked after media headlines announced that Elon Musk had reached a deal to purchase Twitter for $44 billion. Right after Elon Musk bought Twitter, DOGE set up a green column of +20%. Not only DOGE but BTC also recovered quickly back to the $40k7 area, making the whole market prosper this morning.

Thanks to Elon Musk, the crypto market is brought back again.
I don't think he has bought twitter yet. A deal was made and likely to be completed. Since Elon shows support for doge coin, people are expecting that he will do something with doge and twitter. Twitter was supposed to allow users to tip using crypto currencies. So people are speculating that Elon will add doge as a method for tipping. After all, doge used to  be a tipping coin in the community. Now people are FOMOing into dogecoin causing the price to go up.
953  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin continues to decline, what causes it? on: April 26, 2022, 02:24:04 AM
Hey Guys, talking about my Title above and talking about Bitcoin. Basically Bitcoin is the only coin that is in great demand by people who plunge into the world of Cryptocurrency, even very many people are looking for a way and looking for ways how they can get this Bitcoin, of whom there are those who do Mining, Trading maybe is also included, maybe Bitcoin investment is also included, here we all know about this Bitcoin price, in the past few months Bitcoin price ranged at $ 63k.

Talking back about my discussion above, in the past few days I saw Bitcoin is experiencing a continuous decline in value, what is the reason? and is this the beginning of its destruction? and do you think all Bitcoins will recover with a comeback?

Thank you <3
Beginning of the destruction? How many times bitcoin has been destroyed? Why do people like you always say that bitcoin is going to be destroyed when the price starts to drop? It's not something new. The market is very volatile. People sell their coins to keep their profit. The price drops, people start buying the price goes up. The rise, fall and recovery of the price is a very normal thing. Nothing to be surprise. Look at the chart and see how the price goes up in the long run.
954  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to get rid of useless tokens on: April 26, 2022, 02:19:53 AM
Is there any way to stop unwanted tokens deposits in my wallet? I have used two different types of crypto wallets and I keep getting tokens I know nothing about, I read that those tokens are scammers trap and moreover I never worked for it.
There is nothing you can do to stop receiving those unwanted "airdrops". You probably posted your wallet address somewhere and they found it and now they are sending you random useless tokens that are indeed scammers trap. All you can do is just ignore those tokes and not touch it. Having those tokens in your wallet won't cause you any harm. Or you can move all your coins to a different wallet and make sure not to share the address publicly. Use one address from sharing publicly and another to keep it private.
955  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Using Crypto profits on: April 23, 2022, 08:22:04 PM
A very weird question to ask. What do you do with the profits you make from your fiat investment? You reinvest or spend them as you like. The same thing you can do with your crypto profits. You can hold your profits to earn more, you can swap your profits for other altcoins that you think might will give you a good return or you may sell your profits and do whatever you like with it.
Guys, how do you use your crypto profits? Well I started investing in crypto last year but still to earn that much profits. How about you all?
You haven't made any profit, and you are already dreaming about what you going to do with all your profit...
956  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I found a new hidden gem called AltSwitch. Do you think it will go 100x? on: April 23, 2022, 04:09:12 PM
I think it is a shit coin your are shilling for. If you think it is a gem, then you should be explaining why you think it is a good coin with a high potential. Just look at the chart. It looks like a pump and dump scam coin. The marketcap is so small it can easily be manipulated. Look at the volume of the coin. It is even worse.
Stop shilling for shitcoins. You are only wasting your time. If you have invested in those coins, sell them before they are worth nothing.
957  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Traders paradise on: April 23, 2022, 04:01:54 PM
-snip-
Now I decided to start trading after many persuasion and am beginning to have a rough experience but all the while I have only viewed cryptocurrency trading as an all good venture
You just started. You can't expect to make profit as soon as you start. In fact not everyone makes profit from trading. Keep learning, try to understand the market, read about trading and apply what you have learned. You will make a lot of mistakes. Instead of giving up, learn from those mistake, try to fix what you were doing wrong and eventually you will be able to make some profit. It is not as easy as it might seem to you.
958  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Honduras SEZ accepting Bitcoin as legal tender. What could be the benifits? on: April 23, 2022, 03:54:25 PM
-snip-
What could be the other possible benifits of legalizing bitcoin
I doubt it will remove poverty from the country. If it was possible, all poor or 3rd world countries would make bitcoin legal to remove poverty from their country. It could improve the overall economy a little, but not much. The poor won't be able to invest in bitcoin and hold to make profit from it.
The benefits would be flexible and easy money transaction. Others working as an expat can send money to their country at almost free of cost and without any third party being involved. And the main advantage would be the people being the owner of their own money.
959  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How are you preparing for bear market on: April 23, 2022, 03:28:21 PM
You are asking what is the best thing you can do during a bear market or how will you prepare for a bear market? Because those two are different things. If you want to "prepare" for  a bear market, then what you can do is sell your coins, take your profit and reinvest when the price has reached it's minimum. It is easy to say, but hard to execute. You will have to time the market properly and the risk is high. So if you aren't willing to take all the risk, all you have to do during a bear market is to keep holding without selling anything and wait for the market to recover. To maximize your profit, you can try investing as much as you can while the price is low.
960  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investment: $15.000 - 12 vs 15 coins on: April 23, 2022, 02:41:43 PM
None of the two. Too many meme coins or coins with nothing better to offer. None of list has bitcoin on them. The first one is even worse compared to the second one. The second one at least has Ethereum, Solana and few other well known top coins.
It's good to spread your investment, but put most of it in Bitcoin and Ethereum. Safer and in the long run will give you some good profit. The rest of the coins has higher risk and might fail in the future.
