561  Economy / Economics / Re: Paypal bought up to 70% of all the newly mined bitcoin recently on: November 23, 2020, 04:03:30 PM
we really cant deny the fact that paypal has contribution with the current btc market. though most long-time crypto users here will not use their service, there will always be paypal users that will definitely use their crypto services. and we cant ignore the fact that they have millions of users already.
It is a company that is running for over two decade and they have much bigger user base and it might attract users that are not accustomed to bitcoin and for them to acquire 70% of the newly minted bitcoin says a lot about the volume they are getting. I was not sure what their business model would be as they are not allowing to withdraw the coins, now we have a clarity on that on the long term.

so yeah, seems that paypal is storing their btc stash to be available anytime to its users. wont be surprised if they will create their own crypto exchange in the future.
It is possible that they could start their cryptocurrency exchange and they are well aware of the huge profits these cryptocurrency exchanges make annually and focusing their business model to cryptocurrency will help them grow as a company as well.
562  Economy / Economics / Re: Jobless for 10 years still doing great because Jobs market is a joke on: November 22, 2020, 11:37:57 PM
YouTube, gamers, free lance, hackers
No need a #job and will never need one.
Employers, businessmen, government, banker, welfare, social leeches can btfo.
It’s the future, without a money system manipulated by a central banker FED, people can finally achieve freedom.
If you are able to build a career without going for a regular job then it is great, achieving freedom from a boss a achieving a financial freedom is entirely different, the market is really saturated and if you have the skills to entertain a crowd you could make money with social media, when it comes to freelancing jobs it is yet another pressure game as there are bidding wars as there are too many people doing those jobs.
563  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't be Emotional, Don't be Greedy on: November 22, 2020, 07:17:55 PM
Being greedy is natural for some people because everyone want more. But we have to realize that trading is a very risky thing and price are changing all the time. Is greed good? Of course not, it is too risky to put a lot of money in an asset whose price is very volatile. The best advice is to use as much money as you can afford to lose and this will give you a little more freedom to relax when trading. Don't believe the hype too easily, it's very close to the downside.
The level of risk depends upon the coin you invested, i would not be much worried if my investment is in bitcoin as i know it will climb eventually even if we have a huge correction and you invested at the right time, but that cannot be said about the rest of the cryptocurrencies in the market. Expecting a higher profit is not greed if you believe it has a function and it is underrated but you can call greed if you invest in shit coin and expect them to rise to a level that is impossible.
564  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: November 22, 2020, 06:36:14 PM
So its finally happening, they did announced about 50% spectators awhile back but i was not sure about it. Good to see that they are sticking with their promise and i really hope everything goes okay. Games without spectators are never the same and it looks really bad on telly, no matter if tech team adding fake crowd voice over.
Adding fake news was the worst, even in the IPL it was really irritating because the background crowd noise was too much even when they score a single, for me it is better to watch as it is rather than having these fake noises and i am not sure whether we will see spectators soon as some countries are planning for yet another lock down because of the sharp increase in the number of positive patients and we have one more month and it is hard to predict what will happen by that time.
565  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is moving sideways for day, Where to from here? on: November 22, 2020, 03:54:39 PM
The price is holding so long that means the holders are not in the mood of selling their coins, yet. It's just the traders that's been buying and selling. A lot of coins being held by institutional investors and unless some institutional investor or a whale goes for dumping their coin or the people lose interest on buying the coins, I don't see why bitcoin won't achieve its all time high. I've bought some more coins and hoping for the best.
Finally we have a small correction, i am also not expecting the institutional investors booking a profit now, it that happens we might see a major sell off as they are holding billions worth of coins but before the big rally we might see minor corrections like we had today, but last month what we usually see is that whenever we had a minor correction the institutional investors are taking advantage and investing heavily and now reports are coming out that PayPal is investing heavily.
566  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: November 21, 2020, 11:55:49 PM
now Pakistan is must better position in security and other ways because recently government improving things in all ways and good results are coming very quickly even some propoganda going against this all but still good is coming.
Good to hear that things are improving, saw some PSL matches and then some of the old highlights and there are some young talents and these tournaments will help the young talents and the entire tournament is conducted in Pakistan and none of the cricket boards were having any objection regarding the security and foreign players were happily participating in it.
567  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 💰 Summer Tokyo 2020 💰 Discussion and bet thread 💰 Summer Game 💰 Postponed 21 on: November 21, 2020, 11:31:23 PM
Yeah, just take everything with a grain of salt. I think the IOC President though might have blown the games opening next year with his visit to Japan a couple of weeks ago. Everyone is waiting for this big event, but then again, very hard to continue if we still have the pandemic and no vaccine is site.

They have spent billions, and we all know that the more it got delay, the more the Japanese government is losing here. To cover for the lost billions next year, they really need audiences and tourist.
We are 8 months into the pandemic and there is no much change as some of the countries are facing the second wave of virus attack and the possibility of getting a vaccine by the time of the Olympics might be a real possibility but if that is not the case what happens, will they extend the Olympics further because it is not fair for Japan as they have spent billions and how they will compensate that.
568  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: November 21, 2020, 07:46:40 PM
Currently pfizer is the only company claiming 95 percent success rate in curing from this damm virus. No other company has come out publically claiming sucess in curing COVID19.

I do not think they will jeopardise their reputation with false claim. There will be side effects but they will be mild and curable.
We need a vaccine as the situation is getting worse everywhere and we know that once the restrictions are levied there is big jump in the number of positive cases and it is not a good sign for anyone and i do not want to see a complete lock down once again and when you think realistically even if the vaccine is developed how much time will it take to vaccinate everyone, it will take another couple of years or more to complete that process because we are one in over seven billions people.
569  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [POLL] 2020, your last chance of owning 1 BTC on: November 20, 2020, 10:25:11 PM
At present i am not holding 1BTC but i was planning to invest and i was sailing for the past one year in hopes of investing big and to take care of my other personal commitments but the problem is that the pandemic has messed up my plans as my company is yet to credit my last 8 months salary which is much higher than the current bitcoin price and i have no idea when i will be getting my pending salary and that is my pathetic situation.
570  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 20, 2020, 09:12:46 PM
Okay folks, International and Bilateral cricket is about to start from the next week, hope you guys didn't exhaust all your appetite in IPL. If not then 3 different series are up..

NZ vs WI (in NZ)
Aus vs Ind (in Aus)
SA vs Eng (in SA)
The IPL was fun as the level of competition was there till the final match  Grin. All the series are really interesting especially T20 and New Zealand will be having an upper hand in ODI and Test matches against West Indies but in T20 they have the players to beat any team but i am yet to see their team.
In T20 and ODI i consider India to be par with Australia in Australia but in Test in is a different story in this tour.

England will have the upper hand against South Africa considering the stacked batting line up and the bowlers.

South Africa vs England is going in doubt as 4 South African players already positive with Covid-19 and isolated hopefully we will have some better update in coming days.
Unfortunate for the players and with that South Africa will be having a weak team atleast in the beginning of the series and even without the COVID related issues England are the favorites.
571  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: November 20, 2020, 07:58:47 PM
I have a bad feeling that India might slip onto 3rd position after Australia series haha but India would have 1 home series left against England (It would be interesting to see how England face Indians in sub-continent) so they could make comeback.
Even i am not having big hopes for this series for India to dominate but i hope it will be a competitive series because i expect the Indian bowlers to create some problems and my biggest issues is their batting line up and how they will be able to perform and with Virat Kohli not participating in the later part of the series things will be difficult as Australia will be fielding the best team possible.
572  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin make someone the richest in the world? on: November 19, 2020, 10:27:34 PM
I came to investigate the richest man in Africa, he is not a bitcoin users, but a business man who don't depend on bitcoin investment.
The richest man in the world, he is not a bitcoin users but a business man who use fiat Money to invest and make a good profit.
Is there any way someone can use bitcoin to invest and become the richest in the world?
If you are intelligent enough to understand a business model and incorporate bitcoin then you can make money but the amount of money you are going to make depends upon the idea and the execution.

For example, I do not see Jack Ma the owner of Alibaba Group as the brightest individual and i came to this conclusion after listening to a few interviews and the dumb fold ideas he is having gives you that idea because he is naive in some of the common things and if you look at his business models what he did is copy from other companies and that made him a billionaire.

Basically what i am telling is, you do not need to be brightest individuals but investing at the right time can make wonders Wink.
573  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will be hitting to $35000 soon - Buy it today!! on: November 19, 2020, 08:18:21 PM
The prophets are here again like they were in 2017 😁. It has always been so whenever Bitcoin becomes bullish. The only nag to what OP has said was making it look like it's a financial advice. It's not, and shouldn't be!
It is common occurrence that the prophets appear whenever the price is rallying but fail to advice anyone to purchase when the price of bitcoin touches its bottom and to play safe rather than asking everyone to invest when the market is on a rally which is actually a risky investment even if the price reaches $35k in the future.
Always be smart with your investment and enjoy the rally.

574  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊[Boxing] Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Junior [PPV on Nov. 28] on: November 18, 2020, 07:54:28 PM
With those videos regarding to his preparations it seems that he still got something that fans will really enjoyed to watch out.
He's standing the same and his dedication seems to prove something that he missed for such a long time, for sure after this
fight all those old memories will comeback to all his fans all over the world.
No one will question his enthusiasm to compete and the memories Mike Tyson provided during his illustrious career as well as Roy Jones Junior makes this an interesting fight for many boxing fans to see them compete again even for exhibition bout, but the problem is with age your body will slow down and it is not the smartest idea to come back and fight at this age as it could have an impact on their health.
575  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you fear the president of your country, one day, making Crypto illegal ? on: November 18, 2020, 06:43:18 PM
This is a question and uncertainty everyone will be going through when you invest in cryptocurrencies but the only positive aspect is that bitcoin is not just used as a currency but a store of value by big investment firms and we are a multi billion dollar market and no government can ban everything just like that considering the money invest in it. I truly believe that even if some third world country comes up with a ban we can one day reverse that through legal battle.
576  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: I suspect that KittieFIGHT is scam on: November 18, 2020, 04:00:52 PM
I dont know the deal with bounty but you cant simply marked a project as scam due to bounty payment. This project have partnership with 2key, endorsed by cmc, and audited by legit smart contract auditor quillhash.
This project came to my attention because of these factors such as Binance endorsing the project as their top then promising projects but they had an auction recently and i did not get enough response for the doubts i had from the community manager and hence i did not participate in that.
With all these endorsement from these teams i guess the team behind the project is known to them and hence i do not suspect anything as of now.
577  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: November 17, 2020, 04:05:07 PM
~
Yes.. this is something I fail to understand. All these restrictions are in place only for cricket. For example, Pakistani players are banned from IPL. But at the same time, Pakistani actors and singers are allowed in Bollywood. India is playing against Pakistan in other sports, such as football and hockey. I don't understand why for cricket there are different norms.
The government is trying hard to fool people as cricket is the major sports in India they want to show how patriotic they are by banning any series between them in cricket and the rest of the sports are not having that much fan following even though hockey is the national game you hardly find any fans in the stadium.

The only reason i can think is that they are afraid of a loss while playing with Pakistan. Although they are a stronger team as compare to Pakistan, but when these two rivals meets, we see a different game altogether.
Far from the truth now, India is much better team and it will be squash match if they play but in the past Pakistan had the best players in the world and it was competitive.
578  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Citibank's Insider Report on Bitcoin Revealed on: November 16, 2020, 07:29:10 PM
Citibank issues an insider's report saying Bitcoin will hit $318,000 by December, 2021, and calling Bitcoin 21st century gold.
First they discard the bitcoin market and once they see that the price is rising then they will come up with a number that could be achieved but the only aspect that will not happen is you cannot set a date and time when that valuation would be achieved. I take the market as we see and the valuation is surging and it will reach another all time high valuation anytime soon but other than that it is impossible to predict.
579  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: US stimulus package of $1,200 now worth $3,000 (Bitcoin store of value) on: November 16, 2020, 05:10:05 PM
Currently, the $1,200 stimulus package has yielded me another $1,000+, Bitcoin is the ultimate, am in love, yeah!. More rumors about the second stimulus package by Biden(US President elect) underway, this will definitely bullish the Bitcoin and the entire cryptocurrencies, hope to see Biden(US President elect) executing this from the reserve.
If you have the ability to purchase bitcoin with the pandemic stimulus package more power to you as you are having a stable financial situation but that might not be the situation with the millions of people out there who lost their jobs and business during the pandemic. It would be foolish for me to think that the bitcoin market is increasing because of these stimulus rather than thinking that these investments are coming from corporate fund houses investing in bitcoin.
580  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin reach $20K soon? on: November 16, 2020, 01:43:43 PM
However do people not realize that in just span of few months we have profited 50%+ from bitcoin already? We have moved from 10k to 15k+ range already and that is already something awesome, why do we must continue to want more than 20k+ as well?
It is the level of expectation everyone has about bitcoin and how much it can rally, it is true that some neglect the fact the price rallied a long way in the past one month and still looking for the bull to push the price near the all time high valuation  Cheesy. Anything is possible in the market and we had a good run this month and i am expecting the market to level up for a few week or for a month before going for the all time high valuation as the market cannot move higher all the time.
