581  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Chrome extensions with 33 million downloads slurped sensitive user data on: June 22, 2020, 02:42:29 PM
Now I wonder what happened to my classmate who brag about his Cryptotab Chrome extension. He always telling us before that he can earn bitcoin passively lol. I guess he is f*cked up now unless he quit Grin.

Though I'm not using such extensions, I am quite alarmed as well because I'm currently using Chrome. I am aware of its security issues in the past but I chose to ignore because it's so hassle to install another one (my bad). I mean this app already installed here right after I bought it so why don't I use it? But I guess it's better to be late than sorry, I will now go back to Brave despite of its huge size.
582  Economy / Economics / Re: world war 3 is coming ...do to coronavirus / economy ... on: June 22, 2020, 10:25:24 AM
According to the conspiracy theorists, June 21, 2020 (which is yesterday supposedly) is the real Doomsday and not in 2012 and now I bumped a thread saying that World War III is coming Roll Eyes. *facepalm So pathetic.

No offense dude but concluding such things doesn't make any help at all. I am aware that mankind is now having a hard time with the pandemic and its effects but I never foresee that is now the end for all of us. And you should too. Let's be positive and believe that we can surpass everything. Don't lose hope and keep the faith Smiley.
583  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Movie about SATOSHI Nakamoto on: June 22, 2020, 06:56:15 AM
Quote
An outrageous and provocative dark comedy about a mismatched NSA team who kidnap the creator of Bitcoin — Satoshi Nakamoto — and attempt to torture him for the information they need to destroy crypto-currencies
At first I'm really interested to this new movie but after I saw the word 'comedy' my mood suddenly ruined. Why not action thriller/gore? Well, I just hope the movie will focus on Satoshi's character and the search for taking down the crypto and only make minimal funny moments because it was a serious matter after all Cheesy.
- Now does it mean the person who actually helped all of us in various Sectors was seriously tortured by a government agency ( seems true , I don't support hoe government works now a days ) ?

I don't think the real Satoshi is in the custody of any agency simply because bitcoin continue to exist until now. And when it comes to interrogation processes, I strongly believe that they perform torturing parctices (even this is against human rights) if really necessary  in order to squeeze intelligence from a particular person. Just like what we see from movies.

Anyone watched the Max Rohskopf fight where the corner was not calling off the fight even though he said he do not want to continue which was really brutal on the corners part as he was in the fight at a short notice and he was not able to cope up with the fight and he said he wanted to quit but the corner was not willing to call off the fight and i am sure the commission will take some action against the corner for that.
I watched it and I really feel pity for him Sad. I can see that he is so exhausted but his corner want him to push the fight. Hmm that is his debut but I think it will be also his last. Tsk so sad. If there's anyone to blame here, I guess it would be his team and yeah I believe they should take appropriate punishment for doing such thing.

Not sure exactly what was Dana White expecting...and not every fight can be super exiting war.
Dana get mad because Blaydes' talksh*t do not match to his performance. He tell on the pre fight conference that we will witnessed a "rag doll" type of wrestling but in reality it was a boring fight Grin. No doubt that Blaydes won the fight, he just hate him for throwing expletive statement but bring poor results. Like what ene1980 said.

I missed the fight live and just saw the post fight interview and Dana White was trashing Curtis Blaydes for his pre fight hype and trash talking like knocking him out in the first two rounds and then ended up in a boring fight.
585  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CORONAVIRUS IMPACT ON SPORTS GAMBLING on: June 22, 2020, 02:52:19 AM
I think if in the next match, one of the teams is infected like the previous players, the game better to stop for a while, and the event staff needs to check all of the teams, including the staff of each team, to make sure that there is no other person who gets infected. That will be too risky if the game continues because some people will say that the match is not fair. But we hope that there is no new case in the football championship in all countries, and the event staff organizer can be careful in handling the event.
Why would wait for another person to get infected before cancelling the games Huh? The officials must cancel it right after they confirmed the case. The virus behaves rapidly and it can be passed from person to person and some without even showing early symptoms (because others are asymptomatic). How many people he interact with before finding out that he got the virus? You cannot trace it easily. What more if you let those people interact with new bunch of people. See? May lives are at stake thus they the best move would be an immediate quarantine.
586  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: June 21, 2020, 02:52:27 PM
Blaydes was dominating fighter in this main event and won on points against Volkov, but it was not as easy to do it.
He had 14 takedowns and 28 legs strikes, and was all over Volkov.
Now he wants to fight for title with winner of Miocic vs. Cormier fight.
https://youtu.be/EvB7puEcCKw
We all know that Ngannou moat probably be the next in line after the next Miocic vs Cormier fight. Besides, I don't think Dana will not let that happen so easily after calling Blaydes "stupid". Dana is so disappointed on what performance he saw compared to the talksh*t he did. See full article

Nevertheless, it was a clean and dominating win for Razor. However, some people bash him because they don't like the match as a whole (me too Grin). But sell, that's how wrestling goes so everyone should understand that.
587  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: PAGCOR waiting for the approval to reopen land-based casinos. on: June 21, 2020, 06:52:06 AM
The country is having financial problem now(actually much bigger now) so we need another source of income and that is gambling.
Well, that's good as long as you are not treating it as your main source of income because I'm sure you knew how risky it is, right? If you want a more secure source of money then online selling would be the best option. At least you can be able to enjoy your hobbies (usually in cooking) and make profits at the same time Smiley.
President Duterte is the best President Philippines ever had and within His power things will be at best.

So whatever He decides is i will surely support.
No offense dude but in my point of view I'm very disappointed with his current performance. I'm pertaining to the lapses made by different bureaus of the government with regards on fighting the virus (especially DOH tsk). Technically speaking, that is subordinate's main fault, but even we turn the world upside down, he is the commander thus he is also responsible for all the mistakes they did. Another one, why he didn't order to remove Duque and Sinas on their line of duties despite of their huge mistakes? I can't believe it Undecided.
588  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buying the dips: do you have a specific criteria? on: June 21, 2020, 03:54:37 AM
Normally i don't trade too much.So i wait for right opportunity. When i was newbie, i didn’t follow chart.I would just watch youtube video and blindly believed them. And end of the day when price fell,i normally paniked and sold them.
We're the same. Since I'm only a small hodler, technical criterias don't matter for me too much. As long as I am able to sell my coins at higher price them I'm already good with it. I get also tired of waiting for dips just to buy. What I do is to buy right now  given that I got extra money in order to save time because I oftenly miss opportunities the more I chase for greater dips Grin. I know my way seems so careless and not so technical but that's what it is. What I can only do right now is to hoard and sell when the right time comes lol.
589  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The right mindset needed for all traders on: June 21, 2020, 01:42:12 AM
I have to disagree with the first mindset of Discipline: Coming into trading with a mindset not to gamble.
To be honest, cryptocurrencies are pretty much gamble and no way you can change it with """ analysis""", chart, graph and other to justify your choice or investment.

You seem to have mixed it up, being disciplined in trading is prominent and you need to understand that trading is not gambling.

Discipline can be a way you guard yourself to maintain a consistent rewarding trade pattern that brings profit.

E.g if you decide to always take 2-5% daily, then you need discipline not to force ur trade over 5%.

In short, ability to stay true to your own ideology and principles is discipline
Well, I know that crypto trading is a different field. For me it is not already a form of gambling because you are the one who maneuvers your money already and not mainly depending on the luck that you have. Maybe what only saint_casanova meant is that since investing in crypto is like risking your money in a sea of volatility then so as trading Cheesy.

Anyway, I like your example. It shows a great discipline and guard against greed. I'll take note of it.
590  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Clipper on: June 20, 2020, 09:48:37 AM
[snip]
The most common examples of acquiring these malware are from downloading email attachment, hacked or modded or unofficial distibution of application (cracked application), clicking internet ads etc.. If you are not keen and careful enough to notice these red flags crawling on the internet, your computer will obviously become a reservoir of malicious software.
Oops! I'm guilty of doing few of these things. I used to go to websites which offers free download of modded apps/games especially knowing that the original version is not free on official stores, I accidentally click internet ads sometimes too. But I haven't seen any suspicious in my smartphone so far. I also don't encounter any problem every time I send funds to my girlfriend, the pasted address match with the real one. Hmm I guess I'm just lucky or maybe there's no availble bitcoin clipper for mobile devices up to this moment Cheesy lol.
591  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: June 20, 2020, 06:45:14 AM
In any case, also wait for the return of Anthony Johnson, another light heavyweight fighter that might return as a heavyweight.
I am waiting to see the return of Anthony Johnson who is probably one of the scariest strikers with knockout power and once he returns in the heavyweight division the interesting fight would be against Francis Ngannou and it will be the biggest fight in heavyweight history as both like to stand and bang.
Oh really, Rumble is coming back?! That was nice Shocked. He is one of my favorite LHW fighters way back then including Rampage and Machida. And I am excited with with this one because I know that he is very entertaining to watch.

Anyway, are you sure that he might return as a heavyweight? I don't think so because according to Dana, his possible opponents would be Rakic or Oezdemir. It means that he will be in the LHW division. Article
592  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Share your stategy how to grow bitcoin on: June 20, 2020, 02:19:21 AM
Just go and learn crypto trading and trade it. Although it’s the market it can go the other way but it’s one of the fastest way to get more bitcoin. That’s also my strategy.
Yup! This is the best and I think the most popular way of growing your portfolio. But if you like easier way of earning then you should prepare for a greater risk of course. Try crypto gambling if you are brave enough Grin. But I warn you, this is not for the weak hearted because the money moves faster here. Your money can double or can go to zero in an instant. But don't worry because you can avoid catastrophic loses as long as you are disciplined in money management.
593  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the new cryptocurrency worth buying on: June 20, 2020, 12:35:58 AM
I will follow the advice of friend,it is good if we have friends who exchange ideas about cryto and do research together on new projects so that the selected investment can be profitable  in the near future or long term
Oh! That was nice! Having a companion in dealing with this stuff can give less pressure on everything you do since you both envourage each other to become better investors. It is a nice feeling that you are helping each other on picking the right coin and earn profits together at the same time. If you lose theb the other one most probably will lose too, but at least you're not alone. I mean you got a friend who can share with the burden that you feel — a friend who can give you relief. I wish I also had one Cheesy.
594  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: June 19, 2020, 11:55:09 AM
1) Their individual performance.
I go with Perez because he is Columbian Dyip's scoring machine so it's pretty obvious that he can create more points compared to Bolick. Plus, he awarded as the Rookie of the Year (2019). That was his big edge over the rest of the rookies on that year Smiley.
2) Their impact on their team.
This is a tough question mate. I can't even decide because I witnessed how hard they perform during FIBA. For me they are both hardworking players and can carry their team on their own way as well. Hmm, can I say a Draw? Lol. But if I really need to choose one, I guess I'll go with Bolick (for the sake of equalizer Grin).
595  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: June 19, 2020, 09:33:02 AM
If you'll add 3 Imports with SMB current line up and let them play together no doubts that the team will dominate this league, but it won't be appealing to the fans, 3 or more imports playing in our land will looks like an extension for the international leagues, PBA current set up is more than enough since local players still have their shares from playing together with their imports.
Just like one of famous expression in our country, "Wala na, finish na!" Grin. I'm not pertaining on SMB's dominance if ever they had 3 imports since every team can be a champion as well as long as they can get their own imports. What I'm pertaining about is the future career of our local players. That suggestion is ridiculous, it kills our own fellow people and the basketball culture in general. So I hope and expect from the high officials that it will never happen. I know we like imported stuffs but for me this is too much already.
Coach Tab's should refrain from talking about how the organization handled the league.
Indeed. He is a good coach, no doubt about it. But demanding for such changes is really insane, it will never happen. The least thing he can do is to continue guiding and training Filipino players based on his ideals or else he can freely go to the West if he really want to handle import-like players Grin.
596  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Coronavirus lock down boosts on: June 19, 2020, 06:01:16 AM
I do know that the growth will be from one stage to another but right now bitcoin markets seems like too calm which must be a good sign before another wild rally. So, expect a strong bull rally incoming days.
Yeah I also love the calmness that we feel at this moment because it's favorable for a long term hodler like me lol. It was less stressful compare to a roller coaster ride-like rally Smiley. Don't get me wrong, I also want a price hike but I'm just hoping it will not happen suddenly. Like what you've said, step by step process is much better. However, I don't feel that bullish days will come on the next few days. I don't know why I say so, just a gut feel I think. Hmm maybe the price will go up slowly but I am not expecting that it will finally break the $10k mark. So for now let's continue observing.
597  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: June 19, 2020, 12:07:10 AM
FabricioWerdum vs Gustafsson
Shogun vs Nogueira
Forget about the rest of fight cards, I can say that I'm already full after watching these two. Just kidding Grin. I guess I'm just more excited to watch Mauler's debut as well as the two legandary HW. Nevertheless, what an interesting line up!

Check this out guys! Jones, Gracie, Nunes and  Liddell as Dana's version of Mt. Rushmore. Agree or diagree? Well, for me they're all good but it would be nice if GSP replace Amanda Grin. Your thoughts?
598  Economy / Economics / Re: Why I am quitting ICO's on: June 18, 2020, 02:39:13 PM
[snip]
Gone are the days that investing in icos are profitable and less scam. But now the situation is totally different, its rare to see a good project conducting an ico
Hmm but if we will base on the past history, ICOs will suppose to feel alive again when the next ATH comes since they can use btc's hype to increase their influence and gain many investors too. But honestly, I am a little bit doubtful regarding this because I do believe that most of us became smarter on spending our money. We already heard lots of stories about scams and failed projects and I think the lesson it brought us will be remembered even during the bullish days when everything seems perfect. .
its not a reliable way to gain with your invested money anymore.
Indeed, I also agree that those things are more productive than spending our time chasing for the "promising" alts Cheesy.
599  Economy / Economics / Re: Why I am quitting ICO's on: June 18, 2020, 10:33:10 AM
Some are not looking on the product of the project to invest with, but with the price when they are going to gain profit which become immediate that cause a panic selling on the market and exceed the circulating value.
Hahaha let's not be hypocrite here. "Some" is not enough, I guess the word "Most" is more appropriate Grin. When it comes to the cases of recent sprouting alts, most of the investors are just attracted on their profitability. That's all! They are not bothered whether it offers fastaer transaction, greater security etc. simply because there are already existing one before them which offers the same kind of feature. They are just for pump and dump schemes thus no wonder why hundreds of sh*tcoins are present in the market.
600  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DONT MARRY YOUR ALTCOIN BAGS on: June 18, 2020, 04:04:26 AM
I remember of a friend who gave up his studies and went all-in on AMP coin (Synereo - if you remember the project). By saying all-in, I don't mean that he invested any money on it but all his time. He worked as a programmer for them and used to earn $300 worth of AMP each month. He did this for at least 3 years, the project did well and he almost became a double millionaire when the spike occurred in markets during 2017 when BTC was $14k and reached $20k. But he kept the coins as it is, didn't sell them when I even advised him to do so and later when the crash happened, the project itself came to an end putting all his work and savings under the grave. So, you need to know when to sell as that's too an important part of trading.
What a misery! If I'm on his position, that happening would definitely haunt my dreams every night for the rest of my life Grin. You know, becoming a millionaire is everyone's dream and it suddenly vanished just because of greed — becoming greedy to get more. I feel pity for him. He stopped his studies and fortunately get a good exchange, however, the worth of it fall so hard. It was just like in our saying, "Pera na, naging bato pa". *sigh What a waste of time, it makes me feel cringy.
