581  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Marketing Strategies for New Casinos? on: March 12, 2024, 03:41:57 PM
But in saying that, this was years ago. I know the environment has changed and the market is more competitive and saturated than ever because almost daily I seem to come across a new game.

More of a question of curiosity than anything, as I said I’m new to the scene and am really keen to learn more.
You're right that many have changed over time but if signature campaigns aren't effective then there won't be any existing casinos that will choose it as a way of their marketing through the forum as their specific niche and target users that are into crypto and are also gamblers and investors. Aside from that, you can run a review campaign where you'd give some rewards to the reviewers for being honest to what they think about your casino. It's not that easy at all to start out but with these ways that you are already aware, they're one way to increase your exposure to your target market.
582  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is worth more than Silver on: March 12, 2024, 01:09:54 PM
Crazy indeed and this is a slap to those people that still talk shit about bitcoin. They think that it's a scam until now but despite all of their skepticism, Bitcoin is doing records that are proving that this is a very reliable and worthy asset than any of the other. It's still new to be honest and many haven't been get to hold and taste how it looks like by owning it. Soon, it is going to break the other stocks from the FAANG and will be able to make it to the top 5. Who knows if in less than another decade if it's going to reach the top 1, it is going to take time and quite hard I guess but it's possible.

Every time I see stupid comments

Not helping to solve issue fk you and fuk mexc
Honestly, no one can help you out with your concern here but everyone who's looking into your case concerning your situation will just give the idea on how they've gone through with the same situation if ever they've met that before. Sorry about that OP but since you've sent your details to them and you've asked them to block your account due to unforeseen situation of losing your phone. Didn't they give any next procedure on what you should do aside from waiting and verifying everything that it is the actual you have requested to block your account and now trying to unblock it as the situation becomes neutral again. Another thing is you should have your credentials recorded somewhere else so you can basically back it up when the same situation happens since it's just going to require you your login details and if activated, your 2FA.
584  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Day i have lost my 100 bitcoins on: March 12, 2024, 09:46:36 AM
You're just one of the many that have forgotten their private keys and didn't care that much about the Bitcoin that they've held. Just like the guy that had his old harddrive wanting to be dug up on an old sanitary field but that's no luck at all because that has been dumped there for years. Also, another guy that had forgotten his password to his wallet that contains a lot of bitcoins too and IIRC, he's got 2 attempts left or else it will completely gone forever. I think that in the old days, everyone didn't expect that Bitcoin will grow this much so, they didn't protected themselves by having a backup.
585  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Beyond crypto, we are being scammed by scammers. on: March 11, 2024, 11:32:12 PM
I am sorry but it was your problem that you have given willingly those details of your OTP. The banks are always giving the reminder that you shouldn't give anyone your OTP even the bank employees but only you. This is the reason why I don't entertain unknown calls telling that I've won money with the lottery or anything that are related to money if they can't verify who they are. Most of these scammers have taken our phone numbers somewhere where we've written it on forms on the malls, banks, or anywhere and the same goes when we register on a website that their database have been leaked. You shouldn't be gullible with such random calls when you don't know what they are saying and no idea how did you won such promos or giveaways that they are saying. Another thing is with these scammers email, you don't click any link from them and I hope that you have learned a valuable lesson here to never entertain random calls.
586  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Telegram channel for cryptocurrency analysis on: March 11, 2024, 06:31:27 PM
I'm looking for a group that only provides analysis, not buy recommendations.
You're unlikely to find them, the genuine ones won't be found nowhere because if they can give good analysis, they'd just keep it to themselves. And many of them are capitalizing these analysis of theirs whether they're good or not and they want people to pay for their premium just for them to get some of those doses of daily analysis. Go into the sections of trading discussion, speculation, altcoins and altcoins (speculations). You'll get to see analysis freely from those that think they'd like to share it. Otherwise, the ranking websites do give their analysis as well but most of them are likely going to shill some new projects.
587  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Potential Scams to Watch Out For in the 2024 Bull Run! on: March 11, 2024, 04:32:48 PM
Don't forget about the fake airdrops and giveaways. Many are still becoming a victim of these schemes because they think that it's not going to spend them money. But with such airdrops and giveaways, many of these scams are wanting the participants to spend for gas fees and on top of that, there's a probable commission from them. That is why I am not fond of these because those that have a high risk appetite are the ones participating with those and sometimes, out of ignorance, there are victims that are even filling out forms and they voluntarily give their private keys as if it's really a requirement.

Airdrops are all on the raising at the moment and although some pays it is like a waste of resources to me. I am not even much worried about those that loses money on gas fees but Scammers easily get people through this airdrops by giving them phishing links to connect their wallets to and they end up wiping out large amounts of their funds. It is also something I don’t think can stop but my only advice is use a different device and a burner wallet.
It's not just actually about the gas fees and potential scams that will put your effort into waste. But once you obliged and verified as required by many of them, there's a big chance that your identification will be sold on some other markets where they'd probably sell that. Only these scammers and cons are the ones taking advantage of the participants and that's why I don't join any of them. IMO, it's just pure luck when someone gets to have a decent reward with these airdrops and if they happen to be profitable with it, then I am happy for them but I'd avoid the majority of them.
588  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥🔥🔥 BC.GAME - CASINO AND SPORTSBOOK | $1,000 GIVEAWAY LIVE! 🔥🔥🔥 on: March 11, 2024, 01:36:11 PM
Now there is a new feature that bc.game has where when I deposit using fiat I can exchange it and withdraw it in USDT. I rarely play on bc.game and it seems like they didn't have this feature before, I don't know if this is new or old but I really like that feature.
That's not a new feature mate, that's integrated exchange and that's giving convenience to all of the bc.game users. I've used that it's not only USDT that you can convert there but there are others too. It's helpful when the fees are quite high and you want to do some transactions so just use that conversion in any crypto you desire that's supported there. You probably haven't seen that before but if it seems new to you, you can enjoy that feature whenever you decide to comeback and play again.

589  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A mistake you would surely regret on: March 11, 2024, 10:08:52 AM
You can't stop them and they're more aggressive this bull run. I have no idea who has put in the minds of mostly beginners about having x100-x1000 with their investments. They truly are prone to scams with that mindset whilst the ones that are into safe investing by having their money in Bitcoin doesn't have to think about such. A lot sure will get into new projects thinking that they're early on those but, they should be wary about the rug pulls aren't gone and those developers that have been doing that will just repeat the process trying to lure these poor investors that have no idea of what they're up to.
590  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: where to buy crypto accounts? on: March 11, 2024, 07:51:16 AM
You don't do that because you're just putting your funds into trouble if you're not going to use your own identity in verifying your exchange's KYC procedure. Why there's a need for you to buy if you have your own IDs to be used? Are your funds comes from illegal and that's why you don't want to use your own identity? As I am talking about trouble, you'd surely don't wanna do that when the exchange finds out that you're not the one that has been verified with that account. IPs, IDs, or any way for them to track the user through additional KYC verification will definitely going to put your account and funds on hold.

592  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Lost email address for Blockchain on: March 10, 2024, 10:09:28 PM
Just an update on this.

In the email address that I originally thought was associated with the account (and one which they deny is linked to the account) I have found a number of emails.

The first, in 2014 was a welcome to my wallet email. This has the wallet ID which matches what i had written down.

There's another in 2017 asking me to verify the email (whether I did or not I have no idea)

Then there were two emails in late 2017 asking about attempted log ins from a mobile phone.

A final one was sent in 2018 regarding EDPR updates.

So I have sent another message to blockchain customer support.

If you say the last message was in 2018 and you may not have logged in since then there is a high possibility that they deleted your account due to not logging in for a long time or due to new wallet updates.
This is a message I received stating the need to activate the email:

https://www.talkimg.com/images/2024/03/10/yimtJ.jpeg

Or there is another possibility, since you say that you logged in from a mobile phone, perhaps someone other than you logged into your account and changed the associated email.
Make sure to check if those emails are from the official blockchain.com/info domain and email. Because I've got an email that have been never published to the public but after registering to websites like them, I've received the same email phishing attempts and I have never confirmed and clicked any of those links when they ask me to. It's best for osiris to just confirm it with the support so that he won't be a victim of any potential threat of phishing/scam. Good thing for me that before everything and realizing things for this web wallet, I was able to withdraw everything from them. With all the migration and upgrade that they do, I've seen people had problems coming from their mnemonic/recovery phrases to emails, to ID # wallets and all of those login details that they don't even provide retained solutions for the old users and dormant accounts.
593  Economy / Economics / Re: Our decision making is responsible for the outcomes in our ways on: March 10, 2024, 08:03:42 PM
Experience in life will humble them. Those that are giving advise, good advises on how they should be wiser with their habits financially have been through tough times. It's actually a good thing that they're sharing their knowledge and life experiences so that whoever is listening to them will be able to skip that trouble. But even if you're showing them your are concerned about them and they don't appreciate it, once is enough of telling them how reckless they are with their money. If they don't listen, that's enough and you don't give any life advises anymore whether it's related to financial matters or with their life decisions. Not at all times we're too generous to give advises to the ungrateful people that don't even lend their ear to listen.
It's true, the people who can then give advice are usually people who have experienced mistakes from bad habits in managing finances, from there they already realize that it is something wrong, then we will share experiences with the aim of preventing them from doing it. the same mistakes we made in the past, even though that person was no one or just a friend.
When we have given advice and they don't want to listen, we have actually done what we should do, and if we prefer to remain silent when we have given them advice then that is not wrong. It depends on us, whether we will continue (giving advice) even though we get a bad response or whether we will stop because we feel we have enough to remind them.
As long as the tip and advises have been dropped already, it is for the listener to think if they will obey it or not. But those people that are full of life experiences and had a lot of debts and financing troubles that are able to overcome it, honestly they are the ones that are best tip advisers. And they are not going to repeat what they've said because they're also done with people that don't want to listen and yet they keep on talking about such advises. But when they see someone who's too eager to learn and are experiencing the same problems, they're for sure going to be there to help not with finances but with life advises on how to overcome those problems that they're dealing with. It's hard to find such people nowadays especially when everyone just think of how to overcome the toughness of survival.

595  Economy / Economics / Re: Banking on people's ideas, visions, and talents. on: March 09, 2024, 10:08:38 PM
Have you ever met individuals with insane and brilliant ideas that got you wondering, how come he knows all this and it's not even reflected in his life? Some could give you real business ideas that could change a whole generation but that's all they can do, they can't bring it to reality and all their ideas only end on the discussion ground and never come to life.

I've met some of them and I must say, they are the backbone of so many successful businesses. Always with brilliant solutions to hands-on problems but can't put things together all by themselves to create a company of their own.
If it remains an idea, it won't matter at all. Whoever goes first with the execution is the one that shall benefit from that idea. And that's why there are angel investors that are just trying to get into other ideas that haven't been executed yet and those doers with money, upon knowing some crazy and good idea if they happen to see the advantage then they will be the first one to do that idea than the ones who have originally thought of it. But one thing here is, this is why many lawsuits are being filed because of ideas. You don't expect that you have the only unique idea out there, somewhere in any part of the world has also the same idea as you.

I believe nature is fair to all and while it gives some people that quality, others can bank from these brilliant ideas and bring it all to reality by supporting the ideas with the needed finance, resources, and coordination required to have a successful firm.

What do you think?
That's true, that's why many startups are asking for crowdfunding for them to bank on their own ideas. The owners of these ideas and as they execute it, they are valuing their idea through having these investors that are believing on the concept and idea that they have. But some of them are overvaluing them and when the money is already on their bank for pushing that idea and business that they have established, many of them cut their slack off because the money is visible on them as that stops the motivation. With that, it's best to always check out who have the reputation into these concepts.
596  Economy / Economics / Re: Our decision making is responsible for the outcomes in our ways on: March 09, 2024, 02:06:06 PM
There are people that don't want to get noticed with how reckless they are with their spending habits. Instead of giving thanks to you for reminding them to be wiser with how they spend money, they're going to tell you to stop doing that and mind your own business. Well, the concern is there and if you're a true friend, you'd definitely be happy that someone is looking after you. Because if not, no one's gonna be there to correct you out with these mistakes that you do. Other than that, you know that all actions that we do have an equal reaction to our lives. So, if you do good then you know that something good is going to comeback to you.
Not everyone can accept advice, even if it is someone close to them, but if that person cannot accept advice then it will make him upset. especially in financial matters, they will definitely think that they are using their own money without harming anyone when they shop excessively. That's what makes them not accept any advice from other people.
Yes, actually there is nothing wrong with that, because it also doesn't harm us. However, this is a form of our concern for them so we want to remind them to be more regular in spending money. We can remove things that shouldn't be too important from the shopping list.
Experience in life will humble them. Those that are giving advise, good advises on how they should be wiser with their habits financially have been through tough times. It's actually a good thing that they're sharing their knowledge and life experiences so that whoever is listening to them will be able to skip that trouble. 597  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Ledger Nano X Firmware 2.2.3 Is it secure to update? on: March 09, 2024, 10:46:19 AM
They will simply say that it's for the sake of safety update and that's why everyone has to do these firmware updates, in the end, it's just all about the ledger recover update. But even their older version, they've said that they're not going to let it have that feature but then, they're all forcing their versions to have an update and said that the older nano s will have to retire soon and that's why everyone should update their firmware.

Thank you for quick reply. I will buy another HD wallet.
Much better. We've got plenty of choices nowadays.
598  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAMMED by HitBTC on: March 09, 2024, 07:06:26 AM
Thank you all for the support. I am confident that I will succeed, not only to withdraw my remaining coins, but also to recover the rest that were stolen.
I think that by making everything public maybe something positive will happen, not only for me but also for the other victims.
Good luck with that, you're too optimistic even if they have a bad history on how they handle things. Making some noise through public is actually going to take their attention.
Aside from making threads in here, why not also go to their social media accounts and as well as their sub-reddit community? Although based on the posts there, most of them are also concerns and troubles about them: https://www.reddit.com/r/hitbtc/
That might give them some knock if ever one representative of them have been lurking into their communities and is able to read concerns like yours.
599  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many satoshis are there per person in the world? on: March 09, 2024, 05:57:54 AM
What I've noticed is that the decimal for satoshi per person is dropping in seconds and the same goes for the world population and moving a lot increasingly per second. While with my simple research, there are 4.4 people that are born every second. The website tells more than that based on its move per second. Anyway, that's not the important point but if there's a basis and API with this metric that the owner of this website did, it's actually a good information and it just made me remember the websites like preev.com that I've missed already although it tackles differently as it's more of the price of BTC only and some other altcoins.
600  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Nigerian Telcos Have Blocked Nigerians access to all crypto exchange websites on: March 08, 2024, 11:47:43 PM
I guess it is time for you guys to utilize whatever access is given to you by telcos, do you still happen to access decentralized exchanges? Like uniswap, sushiswap, etc?

Most crypto users in Nigeria are majorly traders,  who buy and sell coins,  the set of cryptocurrency users in Nigeria make up for the large total volume coming from the side, and only a few have the basic knowledge such as how best to secure your coins in a fully decentralized manner.

This is not the first time an ugly event and pronunciation like this will happened,  and each time the government got the approach wrong.
They were even recorded as one of the fastest growing country in terms P2P transactions in the crypto market and yet the government did this.  Undecided

Honestly, with how messy things are, I would withdraw my money on binance if I was from Nigeria and just come back again when the skies are clear.
I would also do that while they can still access it through VPN. The government is targeting them and I think that there's a reason why they're pulling over this scene. This could have something to do with the $3B settlement of Binance US and about being unregistered but operating in their locality and they also want to have that chunk for being not locally registered in Nigeria.
