581  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When will altcoins join the rally!!! on: June 30, 2019, 12:09:34 AM
Bitcoin is on the run for some months now and it has significantly increased from $3700 bottom to over $13k but the price of altcoins is dragging and its not really following the trend. My question is that when will altcoins join the current rally in crypto market?
Some people don't realize the fact that most crypto investors are initial interested in bitcoin because it has so much profit and it will continue to be that way until the bitcoin reach a very high price, when that happens all the people who are unable to buy a large amount of bitcoin or they don't want to take the risk of investing 100k, then they will move into investing in the other altcoins, that is what happend last time when bitcoin reached 19k and i am pretty sure it will happen this time again.
582  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where and how to invest DIRECTLY with Bitcoin? on: June 30, 2019, 12:00:52 AM
Hello guys,

With this thread I would like to collect with your help, which direct Bitcoin investment possibilities there are without using FIAT-Money.

Shares? I haven't seen them yet. But some SCOs offer paying with BTC.

What else would be possible? Maybe buy shares (stakes) in mining farms with BTC?

So what are your thoughts and suggestions or advices?
The only way that you can get you hand on bitcoin directly without buying it with fiat, is by mining it which is not an easy thing to do, and if you are planing on getting into some mining pools that it would not worth it because it would take a lot of time, besides you need to have initial investment using your fiat buy buying the mining machine, either way you have to use fiat, the other option which is not a fast one , which is to work for bitcoin, life do some freelancing and offer services for bitcoin.
583  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Insurance on: June 29, 2019, 11:24:15 PM
What are your thoughts about having a compulsory insurance when someone wants to do some ICO so that investors are safe and the participants are also safe? So if ever they want to scam people, people are secured.
Insurance and Crypto don't really go together, insurance companies insure that you are compensated for an accident or something that is out of your league, and with crypto and ICo you are investing in your own will even though you know the risk, and what happens when the ICo fails or the ones responsible for the project decide to take the money and leave, what are they gonna do they can't purse them because crypto is not regulated, in this market there are only the rules of the wild goes.
584  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anything can be bought by Bitcoin? on: June 29, 2019, 11:14:41 PM
By Bitcoin started buy and sell products in the market many days ago. By Bitcoin can be bought a lot of product now. Example such as, From Overstock.com, any kind of product can be bought through Bitcoin. Many such business entities currently accept Bitcoin as currency and sell their products. Homes has been sold by bitcoin in various countries. By bitcoin can also be purchased product on many online websites, and Amazon and BMW accept bitcoins.

It is assumed that, at this time using the credit card instead of the money, Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency will be used instead of money and credit cards in the future world.
Even though bitcoin has came a long way in terms of acceptance, but it is still hard to find places or at least some of the major retailers that we are used to go to everyday for our needs still don't accept it, that is why we still feel that bitcoin has sill a long way to make before being accepted, you might be able to go to some place and pay with bitcoin in the US but in other countries that is still not not the case, and for that to change i believe that major online shops like amazon and eBay should start accepting so that we can say that bitcoin is widely accepted.
585  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of the crypto currency on: June 29, 2019, 10:28:44 PM
It is assumed that the crypto currency will be the future coin. Information and technology experts have already started working with the blockchain on its core. The way the internet changed the world, how to the cell phones are spreading from the house to house, spreading in the rural areas, the crypto currency will also spread. But which coin? Bitcoin, Iota? Litecoin? Ethereum? Or 'Mofiz Coin'?
It's hard to tell. No one knows. But in the next two or four years or in the future a crypto currency will must his seat. Dollar usage will be reduced slowly, EURO usage will be reduced slowly, money usage will contracted one day. People will not go to the bank, everyone has computer or mobile crypto currency wallet. This wallet will keep people's money securely. Many people said that this account is not just a comparison of the bank account. An account is itself a bank. The bank's rules, fees, everything will determine that person. And this currency will be exchanged in any country in the world. So the world will have a new look.
I really think that a lot of events and things happening that are setting the stage for the next technological evolution that will be lead by cryptocurrency, just think about it, we have Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerburg both trying to make satellites that offer internet everywhere on earth, and than Facebook  starts developing its own cryptocurrency, i mean it is all connected, i am sure that in the next few years and if the Libera coin makes a huge hit we will definitely see crypto taking over the world and when it does we will be on top of it.
586  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: free / low cost exchange on: June 29, 2019, 10:19:09 PM
last time i needed to trade i went to coin base pro. they offered 0% trading fee for makers. now it's 0.15%. not the end of the world, but still sucks compared to 0%. are there any reputable exchanges still offering no fee trades?
That 0% that you are talking about was a way to encourage people to directly use their coinbase wallet balance on their exchange and it was a strategic way to attract users and make them to use it, otherwise they would be losing since there have been a lot of exchange to compete with, and it seems that they are progressively increasing it, to be honest that is still very low compared to the other exchanges so you better get used to it because there is no service given for free, and try to go into any sites that claims that they have 0 fees because they will just take your money.
587  Economy / Economics / Re: Using credit cards to buy bitcoin in the bull run on: June 29, 2019, 09:10:38 PM
If you were going to do this, what card would you use?

Do any credit card companies have restrictions on bitcoin purchases?

Which cards offer incentives and bonus dollars for purchases?
I really don't recommend that you buy bitcoin with debit card, it tried to do it once but the transaction took a long time that the price between the issuing of the transaction and when it arrived the price of bitcoin has changed by a considerable amount, aside from the high fees like 5% that i had to pay when buying , i would advice you to plan ahead and do bank transfers before buying any bitcoin so you won't lose time and potentially profit.
588  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin dominance hits 60%, alts lagging behind on: June 29, 2019, 08:53:33 PM
This is not something that is new about the crypto market situation, bitcoin has always and will always have dominance over this market, because most of who are investing in to it are doing it for the profit and bitcoin provides that to the people who are willing to put the money into it, i personally think that this market consists of the tow major coins Bitcoin and Ethereuim who are the original cryptos and the worth investing in them and the other small altcoins that are just a waste of effort and money.
589  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Not all bounty hunters do research on projects on: June 29, 2019, 08:07:42 PM
Many bounty hunters are still promoting worse projects that have worse Whitepaper and teams with no past experience of how cryptocurrency works ,what makes a team pro?its their past history of achievements with other projects or companies but I'm still surprised that people are promoting very very worse projects on here ,the last one I checked hours ago has no team but its been run by one person or two ,no office address and the Whitepaper is not making sense at all and its like a copycat project but guess what? The bounty spreadsheet is already full of hunters.

I think the problems most bounty hunters are facing is entirely their faults ,bounty hunters are responsible for their end results because many never learn to read or do thorough research and later they will start complaining about time wasted of bounties.
I agree with you on the part where bounty hunters usually are the ones responsible for their own failures when it comes to not cheeking the project and their team and whether it is good or not, before promoting it, but the part where developers don't have past experience or past histories with other project does not determine the faith of the project, new ones could have potential and they might just need a chance, but of course among the team there has to be someone who has a knowledge about the project that they are in, and bounty hunters only care about getting paid and don't care whether the project is good or not because as soon as they get their coin they directly exchange it.
590  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it possible to trade WITHOUT exchange? on: June 29, 2019, 07:49:44 PM
Since bitcoin is programmable, is it possible that many people just trade through command line under Linux? This way, we could avoid fees related to exchanges.
You can do trading without an exchange but it varies depending on what are you trading and when you are trading and especially how much are you trading , say for example you buy some bitcoin and you hold it for quiet some time and than you want to sell it, you can either spend some a long time looking for a trusted buyer with a good price and take the risk of doing that or you can just use an exchange easily without any trouble, but say if you are trading multiple coins than you have to use an exchange because i don't think that you can find any peer to peer sites where you can exchange altcoins.
591  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin remains the king of Crypto Market? on: June 29, 2019, 07:01:26 PM
Who knows Bitcoin will the Number one in the future? Does anyone know that's bitcoin will still work in the future? I think here a new coin will get the first place in the crypto market. Any coin takes this place. Need more popularity and marketing with a good opportunity.

So, My question is, Will Bitcoin remains the king of Crypto Market in the future?
Bitcoin has been and will continue on being  the reigning king of the crypto for a long time, not just in terms of its high price that just keeps on getting up and up, but also in terms of trading volume, and to be honest that is really hard to beat, but who know maybe the facebook Librea will have a huge success and people all over the internet will start using for various thing, and it might just might be able to compete with bitcoin in terms of trading volume and not in terms of price because that is impossible to do.
592  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How does a perfect ICO Team looks like for you? on: June 29, 2019, 06:37:25 PM
Hello Bitcointalk Community,

I would like to know from your point of view as an investor how a Team needs to look to get convinced.

Apart from the idear of the project I would be glad to get to know your opinion how a perfect Team looks like.

The reason behind this question is, that some teams have 3-4 members and others show off with 20.

I am looking forward to a good discussion.

Cheers

Your Stag3 Team
Bigger is not always better, quality is always over quantity, a good team of developers should just consist of real profiles and not some random photos and random names of people from the internet, so you should check them before you give them trust, and also they should know what they are doing meaning you can put a trust in some amateur who knows nothing about crypto or finance or the project that he is going into creating at least one of the developers should have some knowledge.
593  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where to invest my $1300 USD? on: June 29, 2019, 04:44:47 PM
Hi guys, where do you think should i put my remaining $1300USD? Any suggestion please? and why?
Since you don't that much i would highly suggest that you invest this money into bitcoin, everyone is saying this for a reason because bitcoin is the only coin that will surely get profit and people are sure about that, so buy now and just hold and you won't regret it, and don't do like most of the others where they invest in small coin because they can buy a large amount of them and potentially make some huge profit, but with the current altcoin situation i don't recommend it.
594  Economy / Economics / Re: Any other areas that blockchain can be used? on: June 29, 2019, 02:00:33 PM
Facebook and Libra are focusing on Financial area. Is there any other area that blockchain can be used?? It's hard for me to imagine anything else.
Blockchain technology is a very impressive and revolutionary idea that opens up a lot of windows for new ways for make our lives easier, to some people they only relate it to bitcoin and financial transfers, but blockchain is a way to eliminate any need for a third party where there is some sort of transfer between tow people, so it could be applied in many fields, such as data transfer, storing critical information since it can not be changed, and many more, blockchain has so much potential and we are still yet to find was to implement it into our daily lives.
595  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin connecting PayPal? on: June 29, 2019, 09:31:38 AM
Is it possible that in future Bitcoin will connect to PayPal?
PP is not that much regulated by government, all they care about is profit so I personally think it may happen.
That'd be huge revolution, PayPal would introduce Bitcoin to the world.

What you think about it?

BTCBTCBTC
PayPal might be a private company but it still needs authorizations from governments and central banks, since it is linked to your bank account, i really think in a situation where cryptocurrency becomes a trend and a lot of people start using them, PayPal will just create their own coin just like Facebook is doing right now and the same as probably all the other companies, but in a situation where bitcoin becomes accepted i don't see why they won't some other banks and payment systems are already doing it like Neteller.
596  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should we boycott the Facebook Coin (Project Libra)? on: June 29, 2019, 08:53:52 AM
Well XRP is centralized and no one said anything about it, people are investing it , not that i support the Facebook coin or anything but if you think about it we can use it for our own advantage, with the Facebook having so many users and a large user base and it is a very well know company, and if the coin gets a bit of success other companies will do the same and that will lead to wide acceptance of crypto which is a good thing for us, you don't have to support it, just use it for your advantage.
597  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin volatility here to stay? on: June 29, 2019, 07:41:19 AM
I am a strong believer in HODL. I expected bitcoin volatility decreases as time goes by, I totally didn't expect such big price change in the past several days.

Is bitcoin volatility here to stay and not decrease?
Well for the past couple of years the bitcoin price has been relatively cheap, so people are still buying and selling it on regular basis and not holding like you, but i am sure that with the price getting higher and higher and closer to a point where if you sell you won't be able to buy again, the volatility which we are seeing now will decrease and we won't see as much of a price drop, because everyone at that point will just be holding.
598  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will cryptocurrency soon be an alternate payment option? on: June 28, 2019, 09:11:55 PM
Just a month ago, giants like Starbucks, Nordstrom, Whole Foods, and AT&T announced that they accept cryptocurrency as a payment option.
With the  popularity that cryptocurrency is growing there is no doubt that it will soon be among other payment methods. Especially for the international payments, with its ridiculously low fee and time taken for inter-border transfers it is surely the favorite among the traders.
Also, with giants accepting it as a payment option there is no other need to prove its authenticity.

Do you own any cryptocurrency yet?

Cryptocurrency is slowly but surely making its way into our society even though there still much progress to be done, it is still a huge progress that we have made considering how a new concept and a new technology it is, i that it won't be too long before we see it in every store, especially since next year we will see Facebook launching their Libra coin which i have a hunch that it will be usable as a payment methods outside of Facebook since they are a huge company and have the ways and the ability to do so.
599  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LIBRA - Strategy for world domination on: June 28, 2019, 08:45:03 PM
In my opinion people are really giving this coin attention more than it needs, sure all the OP said is true and that Facebook has a large user base but think why the average person would use it, sure many people might give it a try once or twice since it is there but a predict that the majority will fell like it is not something for them and the popularity of it will go down, either way the coin that will facebook make will be a changing point and it will make and break what will the future of crypto, because if it is successful other companies will do the same
600  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The BTC prices are being manipulated, what do the market makers have in mind? on: June 28, 2019, 08:18:17 PM
All the bitcoin whales who are artificially inflating the bitcoin prices (of course it is happening, what kind of naive fool are you to think otherwise?), what's your plan for the top prices we will see on this wave?

We jumped from $4000 to $12000 pretty damn quickly and easily this market cycle, it took 6+ months to do this in 2017.  And we are not yet seeing local tv news stories about bitcoin prices, things that would get the general publics' interest and cause un-coin-educated fools to mortgage their houses and buy in at ATH prices like last time.

So I think we will be looking at price tops in the $30-$50 K range over the next 6-8 months.  And since alt coins tended to trail BTC to their ATH prices in the last market cycle by a month or so, and I am invested in alts, I am hoping for some huge price gains.

To those of you who are making / manipulating the current market prices - Ethereum, Litecoin, Stellar, Tron, Cardano, XRP, and EOS.  Those are the coins that I need to see HHHUUUGGGEEE price increases in to make a sizable profit.  I'm looking for at least a 15X gain in each one, please.  If each one gets pumped and dumped one at a time, that's okay, just PM me here and let me in on the plans so I can make maximum profits.
Well this is somthing that is going to happen a lot and there is no way to avoid it, there are not just whales who are doing this, this might be a normal and obvious thing a lot of people have put money into bitcoin when it was 3k and it stayed that way for a long time without moving and they have waited for the moment where they can get some profit so as soon as they say it starting to slow down in the 12k range they started cashing out.
