@OTOH How much more do you have left to go?
32 BTC + 7 BTC pending withdrawals = 39 BTC & 700 Dash + 2,860 Dash pending withdrawals = 3,560 Dash

Yesterday Cryptsy processed two of my withdrawals, for 0.77805570 BTC & 100 Dash there are other older ones still pending and I've no idea what they are doing, I doubt that they do either, but anyway a few more hundred dollars out is good and helps to confirm that they are trying to return funds rather than just run with everything They continue to ignore my support emails

... Well in the last eight days I've only been able to get 200 + 240 Dash out, instead of the $2,000 / day that I'm meant to be able to W/D, so while better than nothing it's still a complete joke. .... Now they are just cancelling my attempted withdrawals that had been pending for 3 & 4 days ago rather than processing them, 6 BTC & 755 Dash, I didn't ask them to and they don't let me know about it, unbelievable.

Yah, we'll never understand the moderator anyway, how is it going? Did any more funds come through? And I'm curious, will you be going to Mexico or to the Florida conferences? Well in the last eight days I've only been able to get 200 + 240 Dash out, instead of the $2,000 / day that I'm meant to be able to W/D, so while better than nothing it's still a complete joke. I don't think that I'll be able to make either of those two conferences, but I expect to be in LA & Ventura for a couple of months or so in early 2016 all being well.

Got the 240 dash, still waiting on the rest...

Update on yesterday's Cryptsy withdrawals, still waiting for the 6 BTC but the 200 Dash went through, so have just initiated a 755 Dash & a 240 Dash W/D, if using alts is a better or the only way to get large amounts (or any BTC) out then that may prove healthy for the Dash price for a while, I still have 52 BTC & 645 Dash to get out of there, but the 200 clearing does at least show that all hope isn't lost.

|
After quite a few days of having a negative withdrawal allowance on Cryptsy I see that it has reverted to $2,000 again, so I've just initiated a 6 BTC & 200 Dash W/D, I'll post again if/when they go through, but touch wood it looks like they may be sorting their mess out, though they continue to ignore my support tickets and I'm perma-banned from their chat.

Hey guys, where can I exchange Dash to BTC without giving out personal information? I suppose I'll be using Polonniex but I don't like unknown companies having personal information. Cryptsy really creeped me out when they asked for personal information before allowing people to withdraw. Luckily I'm not a trader, and I had no coins there. The thing is, Coinbase has all my info, and in my opinion, that should be all I need to show I'm not trying to evade taxes and such. Why should anyone else have my personal info. Hell, I might as well use credit cards if I want to give my info to everyone and his brother.
So anyway, if there isn't such a place, what is required over at Polonniex? And who are they? Where are they located? I heard Cryptsy was in Florida, now I see they're out of Belize. It's impossible to find this information, let alone verify it.
Tante, I'd be happy to always exchange you Dash to BTC & vise-versa, at spot price, no fees and no exchange risk, as we've even met IRL so all KYC compliant too

If & when I do, then maybe I should celebrate by putting a nice wall up on Polo

Saw this on Cryptsy chat JShock ♔ Most BTC LTC and DASH w/ds are currently stuck due to tech issues. This progressively got worse over the past week and were trying to find the reason they are not going out. Please understand that due to extremely high security this a very complex system and the problem is still being resolved Yes, I saw that as well, I've just now received my 300 DASH withdrawal, this now puts me on: << Show Withdraw Limit $-1055.87112442 >> so they are slowly letting me cash out, maybe even a bit more than the daily tier 2 limit, though they aren't answering my support emails and have perma-banned me from their chat it seems. So 600 DASH & 66 BTC to go, it will take over two weeks unless they make me so called tier 3 as they promised but haven't contacted me about as yet.

Update on my attempts to withdraw my balance of approx 70 BTC & 900 DASH from Cryptsy: New day & my second 3.4 BTC W/D has been sent, still waiting on 300 DASH and heard nothing from Cryptsy about when they will make me Tier 3 and if they need any additional info from what I'd already sent to be fully verified in the past for this, so that I can W/D the rest of my now 66 BTC. It says "Show Withdraw Limit $-559.5796975" so apparently I have a negative W/D limit atm, they are well aware of the Reddit thread but choose not to come on there and explain themselves, they continue to fail to communicate with me even though according to their support JShock on the chat I am the number one W/D priority to solve. Edit to add: When I tried to post this in their chat it now appears that overnight when afk and not posting on it for 12 hours, that I've been permanently banned from posting there.

Not correct. Me and Otoh did withdraw all , true with delay. I know Cryptsy for long time and they had problems many times and kept paying to customers. Interesting is that Cryptsy had bigest DASH trading lately. I got my DASH & LTC, but am still awaiting over 70 BTC that were meant to be sent 2 days ago, contacted support yet again.

Cryptsy have returned 2,886 LTC that I had on them over a week ago, just 70 odd BTC to go which it now looks like will be forthcoming shortly, so with the DASH that I was previously able to withdrawal that will be all of my > $50,000 bid wall funds safely returned, many thanks for those who wished for a good outcome in this and a big GFY to the haters who can only try and find some small thrill in the possible misfortune of others, to them - all that you wish on others will one day come back to you and many times over, try and learn from it and be less (self) destructive going forward perhaps.
Great, well you half way there, and litecoin even went up a little in the process. Did you have an explanation from Cryptsy for the delay, and would you use them again, or is that it terminal outski from the big vern fraternity? This is what they sent me: Hello Otoh, I deeply apologize for the recent delays. We have been undergoing major site upgrades, part of which is the verification systems. Some users who have verified accounts have been affected with these delays. I see that you have withdrawals pending and these should now process soon as we are nearing completion of our upgrade. If you have not received your withdrawal, by Monday October 19, please reply to this ticket and let me know. I plan to compensate you for the inconvenience by issuing you a free upgrade to pro account status which is also included in the upgrade and will go live also very soon. Sincerely, Jim aka: JShock Customer Service Manager Cryptsy.com ------------------------------------------- & this: Hello Otoh, Your LTC withdrawal has processed, BTC withdrawal should move soon. I had to cancel the XRP withdrawals, please try sending those again. ----------------------------------- As to using them again, it is always good when an exchange recovers from adversity and makes everyone good again and as Tungfa said to me: Cryptsy is weird as they have always been, but eventually they always pull through (In my opinion with them). So I expect that I will be using them again, their handing and communication of this outage could have been way better than it was, I expect it will be a long time now, if ever, that I feel confident enough to leave up that large an amount of bid walls there again though. Edit: I didn't have any XRP or XRP withdrawals with them.

Otah wtf! why you hold so much on cryptsy? Hope you get it back. but seriously take the lesson don't trust exchanges. withdraw straightaway, not when everyone is rushing for the exit
This is the price of putting up bid walls, same thing happened with BTer for 100 BTC ($25,000) & MintPal, forgot how many but a good few, anyway eventually they were all returned in full, I hear from other sources that Cryptsy are presently making necessary adjustments to their site so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that my coins have not been lost or stolen, though they are continuing to ignore me these last few days, unbelievably unprofessional behavior from an exchange that has been trusted with so many funds.

Please to upvote my post warning about problems with Cryptsy withdrawals since the 5th Oct: https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/3nkotr/cryptsy_responds_to_coinfireOtohs 1 point 26 minutes ago I had over $50,000 on Cryptsy on the 5th Oct, I sold (at a loss) for BTC, LTC & DASH, I was able to withdraw the 8,433 DASH, but the 2,886 LTC & 76.24 BTC have been stuck there for over one week, I was then locked out of my account and dealing with support has been a nightmare, fobbed off with "you're in a queue" or ignored mostly. I would not advise risking any funds there atm. Will update on developments... We were all worried about you there I hope you can get access to your account back soon, and especially your funds back! I'm sorry about that Many thanks, I got access to my account back, but no sign of the BTC or LTC as yet and no response for the last couple of days to my many support requests, no explanation, no money, nothing. If I may advise, try to revert your pending transactions, so you have all of the balance available in your account. Subsequently, try to find the coins that are still sufficiently available for withdrawal (ArticMine suggested this as well if I recall correctly). Perhaps using smaller, but significant amounts first. Anyway, best of luck and I hope you get everything out in the end. When the withdraw operation is confirmed (yes) but you don't receive your founds, it can be reverted manually only by cryptsy. I think and hope is only a time matter. Yes, this seems to be the case.
