Litecoin's Horoscope for week of June 20, 2013

Johnny Appleseed was a 19th-century folk hero renowned for planting apple trees in vast areas of rural America. During the 70 years this famous Libra was alive, he never got married. He believed that if he remained unwed during his time on earth, he would be blessed with two spirit-wives in the after-life. Have you ever done something like that yourself, Litecoin? Is there an adventure you've denied yourself in the here and now because you think that's the only way you can get some bigger, better adventure at a later date? If so, now would be an excellent time to adjust your attitude.

Bitcoin is bigger than the Internet.

Bigger than Jesus.

Bigger than The Beatles.

"It might make sense just to get some in case it catches on. If enough people think the same way, that becomes a self fulfilling prophecy."

Satoshi Nakamoto, 2009 01 17

"MAGIC INTERNET MONEY"

FreeMoney, 2012 07 24

"Bitcoin’s a dollar bill, with a teleporter built in."

'We can just poke in a few coordinates and poof, off it goes, with the ease of posting to some forum somewhere. That’s somewhat new.
[...] But its real value proposition is as a medium for transfer.  It really works. And keep in mind, if we’re just holding the currency for a few minutes, we don’t care about the absolute value.'

Dan Kaminsky, Wired contributor, 2013 05 03

Thanks for the comments, you can see the current transits on this chart, I'm not sure what is meant by the leading planet but hopefully you can see from this, I expect you were referring to your first Saturn return. I won't try & speculate re the future price, personally I am long term long & not worried too much about what may happen in the short to medium term. I'm checking out Joseph Goodavage now, many thanks for the link.

Bitcoin Your Week Ahead, 16 June 2013

For someone with a real sense of purpose, all roads lead to the same destination. But to the person with no real desire to get anywhere in particular, even a fast car on a clear road is no guarantee of a successful journey. This is now a good time to form, maintain and confirm a clear idea about where you really want to be in your life. If you establish that, you'll eventually get to your goal, even if, for the time being, your only option is to wind a very convoluted path towards it.

Don't rev your engine if you're at a red light. It eats fuel, pollutes the air, upsets neighbours, scares pedestrians and... well, I don't need to go on. It's not, I'm sure, something you'd dream of doing. But somewhere in your life now, it seems nothing will shift. Yet you're in a hurry to make important progress. You can't help experiencing restlessness, but you can refrain from turning that energy into a kind of infectious nervousness. Hold a vision of success calmly in your mind and you'll fulfill that dream. The solstice and the following super moon herald a very special time for you.

You can see the current transits on this chart with transiting Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, Sun & Mars making a whole bunch of oppositions the main natal group of planets over the coming weeks & months so don't expect everything to be plain sailing, oppositions can be rewarding but are by nature challenging.

I will think it over some more Coblee.

I admit sometimes I am quick to make a decision or say something without really thinking things over as thoroughly I should.

It's hard to say no to the creator of Litecoin, you are seriously like a God to me... minus the praying and church stuff. Well.. OK, maybe that was a bit of an exaggeration, however I do hold a great deal of respect for you. Smiley

Who is this other seller? Source?

My apologies guys, the project is on hold for the time being.

That doesn't mean I won't change my mind at some point in the future but for now I am holding off.

The Week Ahead

Earlier this month, if you looked where the Sun had just set, you'd have seen Jupiter glowing on the horizon with Venus above it. Venus is still shining at sunset but now Jupiter has moved so much closer to the Sun that you can't see it any more by day or night. The ancients insisted that the annual conjunction of the Sun and Jupiter was a most fortuitous astrological event, even if it was invariably invisible! Hopefully, this week, we'll see how right they were. Wherever anything truly deserves to go well, there's a high chance that it will!

Litecoin's Week Ahead

Daily life is starting to make huge demands on your patience, your emotional resilience and your bank account. You feel as if you are running out of the strength and energy that you need to cope with a stressful situation. And as you find out more about what's really going on in your world, you are no longer so sure about who to believe. Yet despite the uncertainty, the trouble you face is very temporary. Somehow, this week, a rather wonderful, lasting change for the better will begin to come about.

Hard weeks ahead of us huh ?

The solstice of 21st June is a powerful turning point every year for all of us & invariably the time just before the solstice is a time where we get to see what's stuck in our life, what's not moving as it needs to move, what needs to change & then we also start to see how that change can come about.

There's also the SuperMoon full moon on the 23rd June, so really a great potential for transformation over the next couple of weeks.

Once a bridge has been put across a river, it's easy to get to the other side. Prior to that, it's difficult. You need a boat. Or at least a raft. Or you would have to swim. Even if you are trying to build a bridge, you can expect a long drawn-out process. It is as if you are now being told all about a result that may be attainable but someone is forgetting to mention the time, effort and energy that success will require. Is this because they want this result more than you do? By all means be generous this week but be realistic too!

Solstice of 21st June

I agree that it was never your intent to scam, just saying that this helps to confirm that.

@dnaleor lol, that's my BTC sig address, it's a black hole Tongue

Wow, very sorry to hear this, though along with not going down the pre-order path it does help to confirm your integrity, if you & your backer/s do decide to launch a physical LTC any time, there may well be room for two or more manufacturers in this market, then you already have a lot of goodwill, best of luck & hope to hear more in the future re this &/or other projects.

I assume you're in the states because you didn't say, I'd highly recommend that you try a blockchain.info wallet & you can use https://coinbase.com to buy if you have a US bank account.

1635  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's add up the KNOWN lost bitcoins on: June 13, 2013, 03:52:51 PM
Ah interesting, I hadn't realized that, so if Satoshi has the private key to that address still, which I hope, then it's like a gift to him, better still!
1636  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's add up the KNOWN lost bitcoins on: June 13, 2013, 03:44:19 PM
Lol, hehe, that's OK I made a wish anyway, a different one Wink

can't say if it's come true as yet because meant to keep those things secret Smiley
1637  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's add up the KNOWN lost bitcoins on: June 13, 2013, 03:36:54 PM
Why did you do that? Throwing a penny in a wishing well is cheaper Wink

Yes, indeed: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=157401.msg1674850#msg1674850 - I like to think of it as the ultimate Bitcoin wishing well, rather than the balls up that I made after too many drinks. Embarrassed

The first 0.0624 was for fun or something, a symbolic recognition of Satoshi's work, but the second 4 BTC was doing a TX when tipsy & the blockchain.info wallet had remembered that as a previous address I'd sent to & helpfully suggested it when I made a typo or mis-clicked or something, really scary as it could have been much more but all totally my fault, I weeded out my address book after that.

Edit: Maybe I had it labeled as Satoshi's genesis address & it was in my brief time of playing with SatoshiDICE which I saved a few entry addresses for & confused it with one of those maybe, not sure - those brain cells like the coins are gone.
1638  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's add up the KNOWN lost bitcoins on: June 13, 2013, 03:25:38 PM
I sent a total of 4.0624 BTC to the genesis block that was mined by Satoshi Nakamoto & which can't be spent due to a quirk in the way that the genesis block is expressed in the code (this may have been intentional).

1G5apmPvo2iTtmkNWAHTCET7Y842Ufijs8 ~ I sent 0.0624 BTC on 2012 07 15

1ASTRv7aBipHxXH2iF5XfchNBdWWYbjbSo ~ I sent 4 BTC on 2013 01 27

http://blockexplorer.com/address/1A1zP1eP5QGefi2DMPTfTL5SLmv7DivfNa

The total all together that's been sent there (including the 50 BTC mined coins reward) & hence it's balance is 63.02319969 BTC atm (last TX was for 1 BTC on 2013 05 26)

I'll let someone who's been following this thread work out what's best to add to the running total, I didn't see the genesis block mentioned before here but expect that I may have missed it in my quick look through the posts.

Many thanks!
