I've been reminded of his RL ID and additional info on him, address etc, it will be released in early September unless he responds to posts and PMs before the end of August.

Bitcoin Horoscope for week of August 14, 2014

https://i.imgur.com/CW5aYJG.jpg Kintsukuroi is a Japanese word that literally means "golden repair." It refers to the practice of fixing cracked pottery with lacquer that's blended with actual gold or silver. Metaphorically, it suggests that something may become more beautiful and valuable after being broken. The wounds and the healing of the wounds are integral parts of the story, not shameful distortions to be disguised or hidden. Does any of that resonate with you about your current experience, Bitcoin? I'm guessing it does. Let's call this the kintsukuroi phase of your cycle.

Otoh, ball is in your court:

Quote
Oh, I also would never run with any funds because I'd lose my security clearance if proven & because I honestly hold these beliefs which I expressed in this post on Reddit. I respect other people's beliefs (or non-belief) but these are mine that I wrote of 5 months ago: http://www.reddit.com/r/AskReddit/comments/1ubmff/serious_what_do_you_think_happens_when_you_die/cegy6xr

It would be cosmically stupid of me to willingly steal from others and risk my job/clearance if I believe that I would be set back greatly as a person and a Soul. Also, just contact Otoh (otohs on Reddit) or John K. if anything fishy goes on: they both have my real ID and I would expect and respect that they'd contact authorities if given proof of theft/fraud.

I was looking for his RL ID, not sure that I have it or what ever it was that he told me, I didn't try to make sure that I had it at the time or that it would be genuine, I spoke with him on Skype, I gave him help and a chance - if he's abused that then he will pay one way or another.

Wow, I thought MS66 was the highest grade achieved for 2011 error coin. Nice one you have there Smiley

There was a first day MS67 that sold for 50BTC last year.

1025  Economy / Collectibles / Re: WTS 2013 Casascius All Silver 1 BTC on: August 08, 2014, 09:42:43 PM
Watching, if it grades higher than MS-65 then I'm interested.
1026  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Casascius Bearer Bars - Protective Airtite Case ? on: August 08, 2014, 09:23:46 PM
Watching, as I'll be looking out for a best fit container solution for these, will post if and what I find.

Btw, I'll buy any perfect condition bars for their loaded BTC value plus 1 BTC, inclusive of insured, tracked, signed for postage and escrow.
1027  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [SELLING] Rare Casascius Bitcoin Bar Originally Unloaded on: August 08, 2014, 09:01:59 PM
I'll offer you 2 BTC for it, most future increase in value will be due to it's 1 BTC value and not the bar itself, so you'll double that, ie say that 1 BTC = $10,000 in 2017 then you've $20,000 in hand instead.

1029  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins at the British Museum on: August 07, 2014, 08:49:32 PM
british museum is an amazing place, a must see if in london
the building is amazing & worth the visit alone

Agreed me and the mrs went there at the end of the day on one of our days in london just thinking it might be worth sticking our heads in.  Next day we rescheduled other plans and went back to stay for the full day.

+1

I'm in London atm & will be going back to visit tomorrow for the hundredth+ time.

My ambition from early days was/is to buy and lend to their collection a 1 Oz gold 1,000 BTC coin, but Casascius isn't replying to my PMs & emails re this, plus it's all a matter of logistics and timing anyway, so what may be feasible one day becomes less so the next as other projects with a fairer wind behind them begin to take precedence.

Edit: He has now replied, was busy on other projects, hopefully this may still happen one day...
1030  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Selling quality collectable Casascius coins........ on: August 07, 2014, 12:21:00 AM

1031  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Selling quality collectable Casascius coins........ on: August 06, 2014, 09:03:51 PM

I put in 550 + 250 = 800 DRK

Current value > $4,250

I haven't tried to follow what happened, I expect to hear how and when DyslexicZombe intends to repay these coins, I will take this matter further if necessary, to start with 250 DRK should be returned to me immediately at:

Of course! It's just taking me a bit of considered time since forgoing my first plan, and so, I like taking my time whenever possible Smiley

I would like to honor a couple other great Aquarians who made a most positive impact on me with my time here in this community:

RyNinDaClem, because I really do appreciate all the time you take out to educate me with anything you know, as well as anyone else willing, just because of your sheer enjoyment of doing so. For being who you are, please receive 200mBTC well!

Otoh, because you saved me at one point a couple years back when I was much younger, financially amidst all the Securities and Lending schemes taking place, and soon after, spiritually, through showing me another side of life. Please receive 100mBTC, for being who you are. The 100mBTC is not because I value you any less, my friend, but because I've already gifted you in the past and it's more of a public token and acclaim for my appreciation and spreading good will and energies than anything.  Smiley

Sirs, not only have you personally helped me, but from what I can tell, you are paragons for everyone around. We're especially in a unique position at this cusp in time—and we lead the future by living our lives through example and getting what we want to see. The force of God lives all around us and as such, through us. I like to think we have what we have—whether faith in the face of doubt, wisdom and tolerance amidst the darkness and ignorance, wealth amidst poverty, and whatever, Love from hate—it is only so that we show the way by "passing it on". With the remaining 700mBTC, my intentions are to sow some seeds for universal love and peace, tending them so that we soon fruit more seeds (I'll be sharing those later on  Wink)

Appreciate it guys!

Much love,

Many thanks and much appreciated, I'm traveling atm and unfortunately don't have the time to delve in to this fascinating project, any donations that I receive I automatically send to a charity fund that I set up for a friend's kid who lost her dad, details on it can be found on my site linked from www.otoh.net

If I need to send half to two people instead then I would, in haste, choose first Goat as PM-ing with him helped me elect to get in to LTC quite early on which has changed my financial life for the better more than anything up until now, I wish that I had more time to think about this and read it all, I will in a few weeks or so, for now my second choice would be Risto for all his giving back initiatives.

I'm not sure how the receiving of funds and allocating/resending works exactly, I guess that 100 mBTC is 0.1 BTC and I'll happily double this amount for my donations, sending 0.2 BTC to my charity or 0.1 BTC to it and then 0.05 BTC to Goat and 0.05 BTC to Risto.

I just saw this thread today. So people really resorted to astrology even a few years ago in order to predict the price. I think this fits into the sentiment of the whole speculation sub forum perfectly. This really is awesome. I think we've gone full circle now.

Full circle

    Edgar:
The gods are just, and of our pleasant vices
    Make instruments to plague us:
The dark and vicious place where thee he got
    Cost him his eyes.

    Edmund:
Th' hast spoken right, 'tis true.
The wheel is come full circle, I am here.

Litecoin, Saturday, 2 August 2014
Your August Monthly Forecast:

What shall we concentrate on this month? The long list of things you cannot do, dare not do, must not do? Or the possibilities, the hopes, the opportunities? When put like this, the question seems to have an obvious answer. Why on earth would you want to focus on the negative? In reality, though, it isn't quite so simple. Big issues keep arising. They are understandably aggravating. Still, though, you have freedom of choice. In August, you can dwell on your frustrations or make the most of what's good.

Bitcoin, Saturday, 2 August 2014
Your August Monthly Forecast:

You really don't need a ball and chain in order to feel weighed down with every step you take. It is quite sufficient to simply imagine the existence of such an impediment - or to fear its imminent appearance in your life. As long as you can get yourself into a suitably anxious or inhibited frame of mind, you can be restricted and restrained without the need for an actual, physical shackle. Now, er... mind if I ask you a question? What's really stopping you from claiming your freedom in August?
