1101  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [SOLD] Beautiful 1 BTC 2011 Casascius Error Coin - Very Rare on: June 29, 2014, 05:43:18 PM
I have one of these in circulated condition if anyone is interested.  I would part with it for less than 3 BTC...

I'd offer 2BTC for circulated condition.

I'll offer 2.5 BTC for it.

Best offer right now is 3 BTC I may take it unless I get a better one!
U sell that thing yet? Wait a minute. I need to analyze that coin. Can you be honest and tell me if there are significant differences between the graded ms66 coin and the ungraded one?

I have the opportunity to buy a ms66 brass s1 and a 10btc solid silver for a good deal. Which is enticing but I may pass on it if you can sell me yours for 3btc. Assuming it is in ms 66 condition.

Hey,

I sold it, sorry! Winning bid was 3.10 BTC shipped to UK.

I still have my MS-66 one I'm open to offers  Cheesy

I'll offer 4.5 BTC for the MS-66.

I wasn't so lucky with my grading, though I am delighted with the collection overall:

1 BTC 2011 Error

MS-58 x 2
MS-62 x 1
MS-63 x 23
MS-64 x 12

10 BTC one ounce silver with gold BTC

MS-63 x 1
MS-65 x 1 (hadn't been removed from original capsule I think)

Just as an example of how a quantity of coins that had been handled some turned out, bought at the London BTC conference of September 2012.

1102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin's Astro chart on: June 28, 2014, 05:54:16 PM
Litecoin, Saturday, 28 June 2014

Your July Monthly Forecast: There are some things that you definitely cannot do. You have other options, though, which are very real - although they will require you to make much effort. Nothing is going to be easy. But, then, that includes nothing - if you see what I mean. In other words, even if you resolve to take no action at all you will find yourself struggling to repress the urge to do something. And that is as it should be - for something now can be done, something very positive indeed. Do what you can in July, and trust that this is the right thing to do.

Bitcoin, Saturday, 28 June 2014

Your July Monthly Forecast: Edward de Bono, the great lateral thinker, once invented a special word, 'Ebne'. It is an acronym. It stands for 'Excellent, but not enough'. There is a reason why I am mentioning this to you, as we enter July. Somewhere in your world, there is something that is good but it could be even better. Now I know that there is a famous old saying, 'If it ain't broke, don't fix it.' But is that really a reason to stop exploring the possibility of progress? You want the very best this month, and you may well find a way to get it.

Otoh's deposit(s) never arrived but we're still currently at 4 complete Community Nodes with room for 1 more partial node as others have offered to fill your spot(s). I'm currently on wallet v0.10.10.2 FWIW.

It didn't get returned to my wallet, I have no idea what to do about it:

I can send another 250 LTC, but of course I would rather get the original ones back, if they have that many confirmations being sent to hopefully the correct address then where did they go if they've not arrived?

Did this issue resolve itself? I quick read the thread but may have missed any response.

Litecoin Horoscope for week of June 26, 2014

Would you like to be free from the experience of getting criticized? Do you think it might be nice if no one ever accused you of being wrong or off-track? If so, here's how you should proceed, says American writer Elbert Hubbard: "Do nothing, say nothing, be nothing." But I'm afraid I can't recommend that behavior for you, Litecoin. In the coming weeks, you have a sacred duty to your Future Self to risk being controversial. I urge you to take strong stands, speak raw truths, and show your real feelings. Yes, you may attract flack. You might disturb the peace. But that will be an acceptable price to pay for the rewards you receive. This is one time when being courageous is more important than seeking harmony.

What would astrology says about the pronounced dip of today?
You should ask it ;-)

Bitcoin Horoscope for week of June 26, 2014 - Darkcoin too

http://www.freewillastrology.com/horoscopes/tarot_cards/tarot20.jpg A German chemist named Felix Hoffman had a prominent role in synthesizing two very different drugs: aspirin and heroin. In analyzing your astrological omens for the coming months, I see you as having a similar potential. You could create good stuff that will have the power to help and heal; or you could generate borderline stuff that will lead to a lot of problems; or you could do both. How it all plays out really is up to your free will. For best results, set your intention to go in the direction of things like aspirin and away from things like heroin.

Perhaps you need to lighten up and understand that your insecurity about being short of money is sometimes not merited given the possibilities ahead.

Solstice Greetings! For those in the Southern Hemisphere, this is when the Sun reaches its winter turning point. In the North it is summer. But wherever you are, this is a moment to greet with gratitude. A time when hope becomes more believable and hearts can rekindle enthusiasm for life's wonderful, if sometimes arduous, journey. Astrologers and druids often celebrate it in a special dawn ceremony. But wherever you are this week... take a moment to glance up and recognise the magic and majesty of the sky. Let it, in turn, support the magic and majesty of your heart.

Bitcoin, Saturday, 21 June 2014 - Darkcoin too

Your Week Ahead: Strangely, scholars cherish the Greek myths and legends yet pay far less heed to the tales of deities from other cultures. The British, for example, never gave Arthur and his knights of the Round Table as much respect as they gave to the Roman god Zeus. Woven deep into the folklore of every land are tales of heroes, heroines, visionaries and dreamers. They are not there to provide distraction, but for inspiration. Bitcoin you are now entitled to see yourself as an epic adventurer. Your story is taking a new twist. Be brave.

Also I forgot, I need to update the wallet that I'd sent the 250 DRK from, if that makes any difference to the transfer, it's still on v0.9.4.11-unk-beta, I can update it tomorrow and resend if that was the problem.

Whew! Ok that does it. I have a little more to do to finish up but that's it for the night.
Otoh if you can send 250 DRK for the last node, we'd have a complete 5th node I can launch pretty quickly.

It's best to email me or PM as I don't have time to check the thread often, I will be traveling in a few days and so may be afk from time to time as well, especially around the 26th, but all new node top up requests will be filled as soon as I get back online.

Also I'm happy to leave a permanent float to cover anyone wishing to withdraw from an existing node, I'd then be taking their position either temporally until new funds come in or permanently, which ever is easiest to administer and keep track of. Nodes once set up would then be guaranteed to stay working even if some of the join investors withdrew funds from them.
1113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: DyslexicZombei's Darkcoin MasterNode Services: We're Up! 10% Stakes now Avail! on: June 18, 2014, 08:27:34 PM
If node 4 is short of the 1,000 DRK, I'm happy at any time to top up to the full amount when DZ needs it to go live, likewise for node 5 etc, so if you put coins in to a shared node you're guaranteed it will be a full functioning one, I'll leave the time frame up to DZ when to ask me to fill partially invested nodes, maybe once a week or when they get up to 500 DRK or something.

That's awesome of you to make that offer Otoh. Thank you!

We might have to take you up on that depending on how the next 13.5 hours works out.

The Node #4 wallet is currently 95% full! Depending on how the deposits work out, one of the later deposits may have to shift to a possible Node #5, due to the way the stake ownerships must fit like a puzzle to equal 1000DRK - hence the mixing/matching of earlier B2 reservations and later B3 reservations.

People in Node #5 can wait to be generously rescued by Otoh to fill the Node OR ask a penalty free refund (since nothing happened).

I have to head to work, but I'll check PMs this evening on Reddit and here, before giving the final community fund raising update for this launch period of this service.

I'm happy to put in a float that you can use to complete any node, say when it gets to 750 DRK or what ever, just draw from my deposit what's needed to cleanly complete it any time rather than needing to juggle odd amounts in the final stages of each node, you choose when you wish to top out any node and move on to the next basically.

If this works for you then I'll send 1,000 DRK specifically for node top up completions to use at your discretion and will keep the float refilled as necessary upon request.

Litecoin Horoscope for week of June 19, 2014

In accordance with the astrological omens, you are hereby granted a brief, one-time-only license to commit the Seven Deadly Sins. You heard me correctly, Litecoin. As long as you don't go to extremes, feel free to express healthy amounts of pride, greed, laziness, gluttony, anger, envy, and lust. At least for now, there will be relatively little hell to pay for these indulgences. Just one caveat: If I were you, I wouldn't invest a lot of energy in anger and envy. Technically, they are permitted, but they aren't really much fun. On the other hand, greed, gluttony, and lust could be quite pleasurable, especially if you don't take yourself too seriously. Pride and laziness may also be enjoyable in moderate, artful amounts.

If you're a Libra, then this applies to you as well.

Bitcoin Horoscope for week of June 19, 2014 - Darkcoin's too

http://www.freewillastrology.com/horoscopes/tarot_cards/tarot32.jpg Pet mice that are kept in cages need to move more than their enclosed space allows, so their owners often provide them with exercise wheels. If the rodents want to exert their natural instinct to run around, they've got to do it on this device. But here's a curious twist: a team of Dutch researchers has discovered that wild mice also enjoy using exercise wheels. The creatures have all the room to roam they need, but when they come upon the wheels in the middle of the forest, they hop on and go for prolonged spins. I suggest you avoid behavior like that, Bitcoin. Sometime soon you will find yourself rambling through more spacious places. When that happens, don't act like you do when your freedom is more limited.

If you're a Capricorn, then this applies to you as well.

anyone has that pic with some sad guy touching a (probably dead) bitcoin on the ground with a stick?
cant remember where i saw it but it was a good one :/

If I recall correctly it was along the lines of C'mon China do something funny, when the BTC price was meant to be very influenced by that new interest, can't find it atm, it was China being poked, maybe it evolved in to bitcoin being poked too most likely, it was similar to this anyway:
