621  Local / India / Re: I am planning to buy bitcoin? on: July 07, 2016, 10:22:52 AM
Which is lower in terms of exchange rate and fees from INR to BTC, i am planning to purchase either from Zebpay Or Unocoin?
How long is the transaction? I hope someone might be able to help me with these few details
Check www.bitcoinrates.in for the lowest rate in Indian market. DO NOT USE IGOT SCAM. Right now LocalBitcoins.com is the lowest. Deal with a trusted seller with IMPS. It takes less than 10 mins to close a deal on LocalBitcoins.
622  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: antpool.com mine Orphaned block on: July 05, 2016, 11:34:41 AM
hi suddenly i can see antpoll is mining Orphaned block

http://prntscr.com/bopyo4

do you why this happen if they mining Orphaned block then we will not get our share right ??
This might be because of the recent CSV activation - https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/4r9tiv/csv_soft_fork_has_activated_as_of_block_419328/
623  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Reputable Hosting site? Looking for colocation. on: July 05, 2016, 11:33:11 AM
Anyone know a reputable bitcoin hosting site? (Oregon Mines, BitcoinASICHosting, etc etc) that they are currently mining at. I plan to send my S9s to a location for hosted mining but just don't know reviews for these places first hand. Are they safe? Can i get my equipment insured?

How to change the client seed?
625  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice 4 Launches TODAY! on: July 04, 2016, 05:34:46 PM
One more thing I noticed. Bets over 1k sat doesn't speed up the bet anymore. Probably due to the introduction of the slider. Is this intentional?
No such thing is happening for me...
626  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: BIP Proposal: Instant exchange rates URI scheme on: June 29, 2016, 07:03:22 PM
Abstract
This BIP proposes additional query keys to the URI scheme for making Bitcoin payments that are automatically converted to a different currency by address owner.

Motivation
The purpose of these additional query keys is to enable users to easily view destination currency and exchange rate at which their Bitcoin payment will be converted to by address owner. The rates are also time-bound by an expiration timestamp.
Bitcoin does not know its exchange rate against USD/JPY/CNY/XAU. Any currency conversion scheme at protocol level is pretty meaningless.
627  Economy / Gambling / Re: Any trustworthy dice betting sites? on: June 28, 2016, 04:38:32 PM
People never mention it anymore, but is just dice still going? Dooglus was extremely trust worthy, I do know they switched over to clams but this was by far the most trusted crypto gambling service in existence at one point. Is it still kicking around?
Yah... it is still kicking on CLAMS.
628  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: What's the BEST Paying Ad Network for Bitcoin Niche (aside Adsense)? on: June 28, 2016, 04:14:46 PM
coinURL: Not realiable network. Poor support.
coinURL is worst for publishers. I never got any payment from them.

adbit.co: Hard to find advertisers. I maked no profit in it.
adbit.co is mediocre. Requires high pageview.

a-ads.com: The most used by me. Recently It gives me almost 0.001 BTC each day.
a-ads.com is the best. Paying consistently for over 1 year to me.
629  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: ★ BitMedia.IO ★ Bitcoin Advertising Platform - Official Thread on: June 28, 2016, 04:01:01 PM
Guys... I have some doubts about this platform and I believe you can help me with this...

1. Bitmedia.io still working? I submitted my site many days ago and no answer about the approval till now.
2. The platform pays? What is the minimum payout? The payment occurs every day?
3. What is the average CPC?

The minimum withdraw is 0.01 BTC.
Has anyone ever withdrawn 1 BTC from BitMedia?
630  Economy / Securities / Re: Need someone who want to invest! on: June 28, 2016, 12:14:45 PM

No serious investor will ever be interested in hidden investment schemes.
631  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Updated] Choices for earning BTC interest on: June 28, 2016, 12:12:22 PM
Mind adding my company to the list? Some info seems to me no longer up-to-date.
OP last posted on November 02, 2014. Very unlikely the list will be updated.
632  Local / India / Re: What can we add on Coinsecure? on: June 26, 2016, 10:44:18 AM
Benson sir can you add a staffs in coinsecure... I sent a support ticket week back still I did not get reply..
This is pretty normal for start-ups. Especially, because of the price action in last few week, the existing support staffs are probably overwhelmed with various support tickets. These type of issues will go away when the company gets more matured with time.
633  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: May I mine Ethereum with hardwares of bitcoin miners? For example AntS7 or S9? on: June 26, 2016, 10:39:37 AM
In the ethereum pools, total hashes are about 10-20 GH/s. However in the bitcoin pools it's more than many TH/s. For example if I have Antminer S7(4860 GH/s), may I use these hashes in the ethereum pools? Ethereum pools hashes are too low. Why?
No way. Bitcoin is SHA-256, Ethereum is NOT.
634  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bulltrap is done on: June 25, 2016, 05:35:52 PM
Lol at all the Bulls who bought this Bulltrap fueled by Media and Brexit. Next step 600$, then further down.
Further down to where? 200$?
635  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Hosting providers for running bitcoind ? on: June 25, 2016, 05:32:42 PM
so I'm planning to make an application the bitcoin community and I guess that running bitcoind is better then using Blockchain API or something so I want to know where I could host this ? thanks ! (state the price if possible).
To run bitcoind, u need VPS. U might like to check VPS hosting plans of besthostfree.com. I have not used their VPS, but kind of satisfied with the semi-dedicated hosting. Moreover, they accept bitcoin.

Regarding price, this links might be helpful for comparison of different VPS packages - http://besthostfree.com/vps-hosting.html

Wow , 40$ per month ? that's kinda expensive honestly
As I can see in the given link...

Starter VPS - 10 USD per month
Pro VPS - 20 USD per month
Advanced VPS - 40 USD per month

Not sure why did u directly jump on to the advanced one?
636  Other / Meta / Re: Service Discussion > New sections. on: June 25, 2016, 05:10:47 PM
No please. Service Discussion seems alive when all are together. If u split them up, individual sub-sections will appear dead.
637  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is CHINA CONTROLLING Bitcoin? on: June 25, 2016, 05:06:35 PM
The proper Q would be - Is China highly invested in bitcoin?
638  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: HaoBTC seems to have launched their own pool on: June 25, 2016, 05:05:08 PM
... and already 2 of their first 44 blocks are EMPTY blocks.
Antpool mines empty blocks as well.
