Phone Cleaner - File Explorer (com.volabs.androidcleaner)
Phone Cleaner: File Explorer (com.appiclouds.phonecleaner)
Do people really download these? AFAIK, most android phones have their built in cleaners and there's no need to download one. There's also the defragmentation which is enough to adjust and prolly clean some from the storage. I do understand if people are downloading pdf readers and viewers but the manufacturers should start to have them built in or most of them probably have because I can read PDF files without having the need to download these apps. It's what people need to do, explore their own smartphones without having the need to download anything since the feature they need was already built in on their phones.
These two apps might be installed by those who usually have that feeling that something is eating up their storage and they may be thinking this app may be helpful to them, while though most of newer Android phones comes with this apps default but not everyone may like the UI or UX of such apps in the device and so will try to download app offering such service.
I know that there are those users that don't mind downloading these apps and they don't have an idea that these contains the obvious malware or something that's going to make their smartphones even slower. I remember that there were people that even download "additional ram" on their phone through playstore and that's funny though but it is for real. They think that these apps really are going to make their phones perform better and these hackers are able to inject these malware on these apps that they develop.
642  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's assume David chaum took the $180 million in 1999 on: February 23, 2024, 03:35:15 PM
Microsoft has this history of 'microsoft touch' and everything and every company that they acquire and touches, fails. I've just read it somewhere long time ago and that was actually right. If Microsoft took over the digital cash then it's likely that it will fail because there will be more competition that will come out from that idea. Well, it might be a blessing in disguise that David didn't sell it to them but started it out. Speaking of him, AFAIK, he's started some crypto projects too but I don't think they have become popular.

644  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Planning to invest in Bitcoin to perform Hajj. on: February 23, 2024, 11:21:00 AM
It is not a bad amount. But do you have some sales report on the average sales or profit of your mother's grocery store? If it's more than $3 then that's fine but you have to consider everything like expenses, daily operations cost and those stuff that will be lessened to the profit that the store generates on a daily basis. Try to make some report and compare it with at least a week or two or even a month and see if it's showing good numbers. Because if $90 in total for a whole month is already big for that store, I'd advise to prioritize first the expenses and daily costs.
645  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Ledger Firmware Update" is a SCAM on: February 22, 2024, 11:51:20 PM
Usually, these links are sent through emails and the real and actual firm updates happen on the hardware wallet itself. When your email was exposed and taken by these scammers, you'll keep on receiving this type of scam attempt. If you own a Ledger, the firmware update are even posted on their official reddit community ~ https://www.reddit.com/r/ledgerwallet/ and website itself like this ~ https://support.ledger.com/hc/en-us/articles/360002731113-Update-Ledger-Nano-S-firmware?docs=true
646  Economy / Speculation / Re: Going against the grain. on: February 22, 2024, 10:44:46 PM
It is subjective when you're going to sell. Are you in profit now? Sell if you need it. But if you don't think of selling anytime soon, that's also okay because this bull run is going to be a long bull run at least IMHO. We all have our own targets and what matters to you is that you don't follow the crowd and flock and you have your own way of decisioning. While at this point, many won't sell yet because we're still waiting for the halving. If you crave to buy, take some moment of yours and if you have some other source of income that you can use to buy, much better to do it. You'll never know on the actual bull run when you sell and then you try for it to have some dip but, the opposite way happens and it continuously go up. That's the point that when you sell, you should be happy already taking that profits and there's no going back unless you're too patient to wait and do a buy back.

648  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: m88.com forfeit 209 euros on: February 22, 2024, 08:38:23 PM
Is this mansion88? I think that I've seen them somewhere sponsored some players and teams. I've only heard them through sponsorships but that doesn't mean that they're trustworthy. How did you ended up with this casino? So, analyzing your situation means that you've bet 40 euros and managed to grow it to 209 and they've detected that it's sort of odd to them on how you've won it and probably abused them. They are returning to you 40 euros but forfeited the entire 209 balance that you have. There is nothing we can help if they've decided to do that, next time, gamble on reputable casinos only.
649  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling for fun and not a way of making money on: February 22, 2024, 11:56:01 AM
This has always been said to gamble only for fun and don't go too much expecting that you'll be fortunate to win a fortune through it. While in some cases, they're winning a lot and became rich through gambling but that's them and not ours. We have to change our approach as we gamble for us not to get hurt much emotionally when we do. Everyone is free to have fun as long as you can take the loss that you're about to spend with that money of ours. The wrong thought about gambling is that when a gambler tastes some few wins, that changes his perspective that it's possible to get rich on it. Change the attitude towards gambling and just enjoy as much as you can. If you win, nice, if you lose then move on.

651  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't trust your old wallet of when u had no Crypto knowledge on: February 22, 2024, 09:56:35 AM
IMHO, there is no problem if you use an old wallet with a new address. As long as you haven't used it publicly and you are the only one that knows it, that's totally fine and there's no issue at all. But if that's what making you confident and happy to not use an old wallet or address, you better make a new one for your own confidence. I think this is a reminder to the bounty hunters where they've been using addresses and they are being attacked by dust attacks to conceal their identity. It's a matter of privacy concerns that you have to check out upon using old wallets of yours. So, it's more likely that you're giving a reminder to the airdrop and bounty folks wherein they're required to do some test nets and transactions which makes them pay the fees and stuff. But if you use your wallets privately and you don't connect it to any random website or don't do transactions often, you have nothing to worry about.
652  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥🔥🔥 BC.GAME - CASINO AND SPORTSBOOK | $1,000 GIVEAWAY LIVE! 🔥🔥🔥 on: February 21, 2024, 09:08:03 PM
Anyone tried this so far? I'm usually quite suspicious when the new platforms are the topic. Tried playing on Stake, Roobet, Dplay and Rollbit so far, but all of these platforms have been bigger, and well known tbh. My fear is inability to withdraw even if I win, I think that would be the worst scenario possible tbh
Why worry? I've managed to withdraw on bc.game without having any troubles. You're comparing bc.game to the other big ones, it's also big in the industry so there's nothing to worry about. But I don't think that you're really scared of withdrawal but this is just all about what you're trying to give some nice exposure about the casino that you're into and that's the italicized on this quote I've made from you. I don't even know them so basically based on your history, you're into that casino. And I don't have an idea how big they are based on your comparison.
653  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Hyip website offering unusual returns on: February 21, 2024, 07:13:57 PM
Typically, someone has to be familiarized with these schemes that whenever a company offers investments and they're promising high gains and returns. Those are the signs that they're a scam and you should be aware that they don't have good intention but just to scam their investors. Nothing on Earth can give you high gains for a short period of time. Even holding Bitcoin requires patience and what these scam schemes are targeting are those that don't have an idea about their existence. No need to go through with details even by just simply looking at the percentage rate of returns, that's already enough to say that they're a scam.
654  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Choose Your Best Hardware Wallet and Why on: February 21, 2024, 11:23:44 AM
I have used Ledger for several years and it was my first ever hardware wallet not until they've introduced the Ledger Recover which was a terrible feature that they have. Can you imagine that a third party service is going to keep our private keys? Heck no, I don't want to use that service and I'll be the one to keep it. That's why I am acquiring my next hardware wallet and that's the Trezor HW, I'm still thinking on what version I am going to get but I might stick to the 3 version. I guess this is the era where Trezor is going to dominate their own market thanks to the wrong decisions and upgrades of Ledger.

About 1 (Ledger), you can keep using your ledger device without this new feature you mention. I don't think many of us like this Ledger Recover option (what the hell where they thinking when they decided...). So, as long as they don't make it mandatory, I'll stick to my Ledger, but yes, better stay vigilant just in case.
Yes, I can still use it. It's the nano ledger S and that's the oldest IIRC. Even if the recover is just optional, we don't know what they may enforce in the future with the owners of these HWs of theirs. That's why at this point, I am just trying to get some contingency plans if things don't go properly. While we're disappointed with their actions, how much more in the future when they totally force it to everyone, to whether older or newer versions of ledger hardware wallets.

657  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Fixedfloat has been hacked, don't fall to phishing sites. on: February 20, 2024, 10:11:57 PM
Google has a serious problem and we've been reporting these phishing and fake websites that are being shown through sponsored ads. I have no idea if they're taking that seriously and how loose their system and filter with these fake websites able to get a slot for advertising on their platform through search results. I won't wonder if there will be victims that will fall for that and as much as they should be blamed, we can't blame them if the platform itself where they're searching it don't take actions unless it has been reported massively.
658  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance Referral Code Not Working in My Region on: February 20, 2024, 08:27:02 PM
Are you living on prohibited countries listed here https://www.binance.com/en/legal/list-of-prohibited-countries
If yes then you are not allowed to promote the referral links but if not maybe there is an issue with the app detecting your IP with a different country/region or are you using a VPN?
I suggest try to report the issue to their support area they can maybe able to help you or contact them here https://twitter.com/binancehelpdesk
This is most likely the issue here, if you're from a region or country where Binance is prohibited then whether you've been trading and accessing them through a VPN with another country that's not restricted then they might have detected it. They'll still rely on your original country/region based on your address that has been sent through KYC since all Binance accounts are required to comply with KYC. Just use them and don't get into referrals anymore. You're probably still lucky that they're allowing you to access despite you're from a restricted area.

Hello @tabas and thank you for helping

I mentioned this guy email on my orginal post.
I did that so if anyone knows it, they will recognize it ans it will proove it was a scam.

I did a mistake!

This guy might see I mentioned his email and label it a potenial scam before it was prooven beyond a doubt

I might be harm as a result of this so I edited my post, and remove his email BUT on your reply, you quoted my post and now his email is shown.

Can you delete your post please , so that his email won't be shown please

Thank you
I don't have to delete my post. I have already edited and removed the email if you think that it will harm you that he'll know that you've been asking here. But one thing is for sure just like what we're telling you that you're likely to get scammed again by that guy. Are you thinking that you're the only one that he's talking to and this thread here is made by the person he's trying to scam? Why fear that it will labelled as a potential scam for which you already knew that he's trying to scam you?
