6461  Economy / Speculation / Re: After the last recession, bitcoin went up 999999900% what will happen next? on: August 31, 2019, 11:34:05 AM
I do not know why OP is posting same topic in different boards.

We can only speculate about this question, since Bitcoin is born at the beginning of a major economic crisis, there is no situation like this one that is approaching.
You never know. Here is what I wrote in the other topic:

FED reduced the interest rate 1% in 2000 resulting 2008 recession, financial collapse. I read few days ago that they (banks) are planning to give negative interest loan which means if you take a loan now then you pay lesser amount than the original loan. If they do this kind of things then after a decade or few years, we will be seeing another recession.

FED knows how to control the money. It's the people (us) are too dumb to understand the process of money. USD is not backed by anything but all other currency is backed by USD LOL
6462  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: I want to make an AdWords-style website. on: August 31, 2019, 11:30:39 AM
Google started their search engine first then they monetized it for advertisement.

At one point in the late 90s, Google was actually paying five cents per search!
I was too young to have this information in mind however it make sense actually. People needs incentive and if you can come up with right idea and right time then it clicks.

(I had a similar idea somewhen, but abandoned it because I think it's beyond my skills/possibilities without LOTs of capital.)

Not all the time a brilliant idea requires LOTs of capitals. For example, Facebook started from a room without thinking about the future but as a fun project. The idea was good, it made him billions. And now Facebook is the 2nd biggest giant after Google.

I hope something wrong with the ledger live. If clearing cash does not work then just uninstall it and then reinstall again. It should work.

You can also use their (ledger) chrome extension instead of Ledger live.

Another thing is coming in my head that - you sent the coins to the right address? I hope you did.

I am a regular Ledger Nano user and I never faced it too.

Well he post everything in the chat in which are Admins included.
He doesnt use form to send documents.
He was blaming me that i put documents which he sends and share them here on this forum and i explain to him that i hide all his informations...(Another way that he is trying to blame me for doing something wrong)
Im not expert either, but to have a spot in the same place on 2 diferent documents its crazy.

Thank you
That is why I said do not do anything from your side unless LBC team asks for it. He will try to create misdirection etc. Let him deal with the LBC team and you response when LBC ask. I hope LBC does not make issue about it too.

I see no reason for you to be worried if you are clean from your side. Wait for the team to resolve it. If they ask anything from you then response or just keep watching the progress.

Cheers,

I do not understand why the seller is making contact with you? He is suppose to response to the LBC dispute team since the dispute team is handling the case now. He needs to convince them. Same way, you need to talk to the dispute team as well. If dispute team is okay with his time buying then you can not do anything. I know it sucks waiting for something. Anxiety is a bitch :-P

About the authenticity of the docs, I really do not have much idea bud since I do not speak the language. Also, I am no expert in identifying docs. Sorry :-(
6467  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: August 30, 2019, 03:52:44 PM
I watched Medvedev closely yesterday and he is really good. The boy has the potential and patience to rule the Tennis kingdom if he keep up with it. Dellien did not play that bad but Medvedev was better than him. At some point (quarter finals) Medvedev is going to face Djokovic. This will be interesting to watch.

In the other matches Kyrgios and Monfils got straight wins against their opponents.

By the way, Nadal got walkover.

India vs West Indies:

India lost one wicket, Holder was the man and it was an easy catch for new comer Cornwall. That guy can ball too. He is huge!

Edit: Agarwal is charging him.

Maybe he is not feeling like playing like in Ashes or putting it up hard on himself. That's the side some player has when they know a big match or competition is coming up ahead and not to push hard when you just got recovered.
Yeah it's a practice match. There are no need to take it seriously. Smith will be needed in the 4th test. I hope Warner gets some run too.

Edit2:
Big man got his first wicket. India are two down now.
6469  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: I want to make an AdWords-style website. on: August 30, 2019, 01:56:42 PM
That's what I'm trying to figure out that what exactly do I need to get data of these people at first to be able to serve the with the best from the very beginning of the project. I mean, I can't just start a search engine (out of my appetite) and get people working 24/7 to keep everything updated.
Okay, in my opinion you are planning for the thing that needs to be done later. You yet have not planed for the thing that needs to be done first.

Facebook did not start it's advertising section at the beginning. Zuckerberg and his friends first started the Facebook and when they found that they are getting enough response and need to expand the business then they were looking for sponsors, later Facebook ad network.

Google started their search engine first then they monetized it for advertisement.

You need to think about the idea that will create a gathering place like Facebook did or a product that will be used by people in their daily life. You need a user group first who will be your visitors. Once a website has visitors then you can monetize it (create AdWord, AdSense etc)

As soon as I get this thing working even 0.1%, I'll definitely share it with you.

Feel free, I would love to have a look. :-)

OK.... I just want to give a weather update for the fourth test. Rain is predicted for the first 3 days and there is good chance of a passing shower during the 4th day. 5th day should be cloudy, but devoid of rains.

Sep 4: Chances of precipitation - 60%
Sep 5: Chances of precipitation - 64%
Sep 6: Chances of precipitation - 73%
Sep 7: Chances of precipitation - 49%
Sep 8: Chances of precipitation - 16%

Okay in this case draw no bet is the safe pick or if your bookies have "win or draw" market then go for it. Odds will be a little less but it worth picking that market. Problem with "draw no bet" is that if a match indeed end up with draw then you do not get much in return.
6471  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: August 30, 2019, 01:36:20 PM
~snip~
Virat Kohli and Steve Smith are among the legends of cricket. I would rate Virat Kohli as a batter batsmen when compared to Sachin Tendulkar because most of his centuries came against strong teams, and that too outside the sub-continent. On the other hand, more than half of the centuries scored by Sachin were against weak teams such as Zimbabwe and Kenya, in flat subcontinental pitches.
Sachin is not just about scoring century, having tons of runs. Sachin's greatness and influence is uncountable and incomparable. If there were no Sachin, we would not even see Kohli and others.

Yet is not time to compare Kohli (or any cricketer who are still playing) with Sachin.

You made a call for England to win the match and somehow they magically won the match and that too with the help of botched umpiring decisions and Australia taking a replay for a bowl pitched well outside leg stump and if they did not take that replay they could have used that when the umpires denied a straight LBW decision. The odds are great to ignore and i am willing to go along with you on this one  Wink.
I was siding for England last time because Smith was missing from Australian squad but since Smith is back, I think it will be hard for England to beat them. On top of it, if Starc plays then it will be much easier for Australia to win.

Yeah, even though Smith was not there - English team could not take advantage of it instead they were in the back seat all the time in the last test. No one expected the win but it was miraculous. I was not proud of my pick but was surprised to see it a win.

The latest tip is for straight wins however if you want then you can go with draw no bet too. It's much safer, just in case there are rain. You can not always trust English weather. Odd will not that bad too.
Australia to win (draw no bet)
India to win (draw no bet)
@2.43

Good luck.

the one that is under control of its developers (like Ripple, more or less)?
Why in the earth someone will like a centralized coin or project? The entire idea of crypto was decentralization. If you need a central hub then fiat is already there. :-P

Decentralization please.

You need to know spain language and know how to edit bank documents to look like real one.
Archive: http://archive.is/9zIpX

So you are trying to rip off someone in localbitcoins, right? Also you are attempting to buy trust in exchange of 5 Euro. This is very illegal.

You are missing the formatting of your topic. Here you need to follow.

On a side note, I understand it's an open space to talk whatever you want besides we have here freedom of speech but that does not mean you come to a community and start insulting loyal forum members without even giving any reference.

Edit: Your frustrations are understandable LOL

Update:
Yesterday he was asking why support is asking again for the bank statement and he said that he will send it today in the morning.
No response from him until now and its almost half of the day past.

I will keep you updated and i would like to thank you for every positive word.
You mean the guy who was selling the BTC? Let him handle his things. I assume you have sent whatever they asked for. As long as you did you part, you should be okay. Let's wait for the response for support.
6478  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: I want to make an AdWords-style website. on: August 30, 2019, 12:30:51 PM
I wish to understand that if someone asks me for providing a complete AdWords website with everything included in the portal (even crypto) for $10k, is it worth to be bought or I should look for something cheaper? I expect the best quality but I won't disclose the budget here.
I am not clear how big is the portal, what features included in there. For example: Is it just a portal that functions to create ads only? How are you going to get the data, where will you show the advertisement etc etc.

I mean, when you are saying adWords then I only imagine the AdWords part of Google's service. But only the AdWords part is not going to serve that you need. You will need an AdSense part too (assuming you will deliver the advertisements to third party network). So for all these and if they are tested and working fine then asking $10k for it is not very high price. In fact, I think it's the cheapest. You can not go more cheaper and I highly doubt if this will really serve you?

Here is the thing I would like you to know. Running a network like google advertising, requires consent development. It's not something the you have a wordpress blog and you are creating contents and posting it. It's an entire setup of programmers, designers, concept developers, researchers etc. You will require a highly skilled IT professional team who will constantly work behind the scene to improve the user experience and quality assurance.

Can you give me a demo link (if any) so that I can have a look. If you want to keep it private then you can PM me. I assure you that anyone else will not hear about it from me.
6479  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Roger Ver's Bitcoin Games - possible scam 2 on: August 29, 2019, 09:39:01 PM
They have recognized the problem (by email and on their board), but told me that they have "some backend issues".
And promised to help me once they fix it.

Today it is almost 3 days since I made the transaction, and the problem is still not solved.
I see you are in a good position. Since they admitted their issue then why not give them the time they are asking for? Give them few more days and let them fix the issue. Sometimes technical issues take time to find and resolve.

Ok, so you make a deal with your supposed friend and it was finalized as "BTC First" before your payment? Hmm, looks both of you are fishy at the end lol.
Aham! How it makes OP fishy? :-P

Based on this?
I recently purchased .082 btc from a friend
It could be lacking of English writing skill, we just do not know.

However the other guy was a scam for sure. OP is lucky that he did not send the money first.
