661  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: an important reminder: don't get killed in this bull run and protect yourself. on: June 02, 2020, 12:59:48 PM
Wow what a great news! I didn't see it coming to be honest. I'm glad that I bumped here in your thread because I haven't visited the price charts again. I am not aware that I'm making small profits already, my bad Cheesy

This could be a trap for people aiming to buy high . I would suggest to be patient for the buy to see how the run is going on for now.
Hmm, waiting for a dip before entering the market is good but the problem is we don't when. So why don't you buy now and hodl. Maybe this is really the start of bitcoin's new skyrocket trip, who knows? Remeber, clock is ticking Wink.
662  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tyson vs Holyfield Charity Fight on: June 02, 2020, 09:23:02 AM
[snip]
But they have been aging, we can say that those training sculpted their minds and body. As time goes, strength is getting weaker but it's interesting to see if they're still that good.
I highly doubt that we will witnessed the same intensity like they did suring their prime days. I am lowering my expecations upon this match, we all know that they're already too old for this sport — that's a hard fact. Yeah Tyson got an outstanding body build despite of his age but how about Holyfield? Okay let's assume they both achieved a good physique somehow before their fight, but what about the cardio? I reckon huge part of the fight would be jabbing and stancing.

Anyway, is this fight will happen for real Shocked? Hmm they can run a donation program instead of this jf they want lol. I can't believe it. Nevertheless, this is great because I'm also curious to see how two legendary boxers fight once again.
663  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will another altcoin rise to overtaken Bitcoin? on: June 02, 2020, 04:37:36 AM
Bitcoin will lead the market forever.
I think it's too much. Bitcoin may not remain on top forever because there's a chance that it will lose its value by 2140. That's the estimated time for the last bitcoin being mined which means people might lose interest to it and shift to the next big thing. Well it's almost a forever tho lol, I guess it now depends on the point of view of the person Grin. But one thing is for sure, btc will be the king 'til the end of this generation's lifetime Grin.
664  Other / Meta / Re: Why Same MERITED Rankers send Merits to themselves? on: June 02, 2020, 01:26:56 AM
But my say is not that, am driving to the point where the rich is still wanting to be rich.
Nah I don't think so. I highly doubt that the so called "rich" here in our forum continuously want to become richer in merits. Why? Because it's totally useless already. They finally reach the highest rank possible and tons of merits won't bring them farther (unless theymos introduce a new rank). Do not overthink dude, there's no collusion happening between them or whatsoever, Legendary members giving merits to each other is all legal. It just so happened that they're more knowledgeable compare to most of us thus they more appreciate the contributions of one another.

If you are a little bit jelous or really want to belong on such elite group then act like a Legendary as well. That's the only way, good luck Smiley.
665  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: This forum is much more than just signature campaigns... on: June 01, 2020, 10:54:00 AM
Well, If I feel that I can confidently help the user from his queries, then I will not hesitate to reply even if I don't get paid with bitcoin. Helping and educating people is still the very best thing we can do in this community whether we will get paid or not isn't it?
Absolutely! Helping even in your own simple ways is very fulfilling. Plus, it increases your self esteem somehow since you can show them that you've got a good wisdom(without being boastful of course). And another thing I love with helping, you can get merits in return sometimes Cheesy. This is a sign that it's okay for being not as technical as the others, someone out ther can show their simple appreciation to you for just being kind and generous.
666  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: This forum is much more than just signature campaigns... on: June 01, 2020, 07:35:14 AM
Actually, I might not be as active as today if there is an absence of signature campaign and it is more likely that I will just become a lurker reading from different section that interests me or maybe I will just be asking if there is a technical issue regarding my bitcoin wallet etc..

Hmm, I understand you if you are acting like that every time you don't have a sig campaign becuse I once became like you lol Cheesy. But I realized that I have a wromg mindset. Because if you are really willing to learn and to help somebody, you will do it not because something pushes you but because you want it. From now on, I make sure that I joined at least one discussion per day. It doesn't necessarily mean that it must be about crypto, Meta and Serious Discussion are cool boards too. You will learn a lot of things from those places. Also, I lurk oftenly on our local board and give tips/advice especially for our newbie kababayans Smiley.
667  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you doing now? on: June 01, 2020, 05:11:56 AM
In my opinion, just be patient and hodl in the current market situation. If the bounty project is no longer that profitable, I would go invest bitcoin and altcoins like ethereum then I would hodl it until the bull market comes. Patience is the key in this kind of situation I supposed.
So I guess that's your cycle Grin. You invest with new token then when it is now falling down you will shift to proven and tested coins, hodl until you make profits, and then invest again to a new one if there's an opportunity and it repeats over again. Do you really think it is worth of your time? Because what I can see here is that you are earning slow (since you are into holding only) but got higher chance of losing due to risky investing with the new tokens.

Well, I will give the benefit of the doubt. I wish you all the best dude. Maybe this is not yet the time for you to realize greater optuons, good luck.
668  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: June 01, 2020, 01:11:43 AM
I thought Woodley would get an immediate rematch after loosing his title and that never happened and now he lost another fighter to an upcoming talent and it will be difficult to be back into title contention.
I expected the same thing (like expecting Ferguson will defeat Justin) but unluckily it didn't happen. Now his chances to reclaim his belt once again becomes slighter. Burns made his possible early retirement lol while he is slowly climbing up on the ladder. I'll look forward to his future matches coz I see a lot of potential from him Smiley.
Agreed! I also appears that Jon Jones might also be in hurting need for money. He was demanding to receive $15m from the company as mentioned by Dana on the press conference. I speculate that he wants to retire after a big fight hehehe.
Hahaha, maybe because he think that would be a big step for his career so he must get big money for doing that. So that when thing don't work well, at least he still have tons of money Grin. Greater risks means greater rewards.
669  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: May 31, 2020, 06:41:53 AM
A disappointing comeback for Woodley.
Indeed but we saw how Gilbert cleanly burned him so there's really nothing we can complain about Grin. That cut on his right eye (that's huge ouch) punished him all throughout the fight. That's why you may noticed that he ended up hugging every time they're having a clinch especially on the late rounds.

Burns completely dominated him. He is now having a 6 win streak Shocked. What's next? Maybe a title shot with Kamaru. Let's see.

670  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Reasons Why I Have Lost 50% Of Bitcoin on: May 31, 2020, 02:38:45 AM
Suggestions: That's why I think you all should be careful about bitcoin trading and focus on Altcoins when you are expert. And must avoid HYIP investments and go for earning bitcoins without taking high risk. One day you will know what actually means about success.
Good realization mate Smiley. I'm glad that you learned a lesson from that bad experience. Forget the losses because you can gain them once again. The more important thing right now is you know to yourself that you won't ever do it again.

Actually, I am once a victim of those HYIPs. I can still remember that time, that was last 2017 when bitcoins price is booming. I have read about that site from FB pages and showing their current balances  They already have a decent amount of money that's why I'm encouraged to join the boat as well. I invested for about $5 (as far as I remember, good for me it was small amount only) to increase my hashrate. Then after few weeks, Boom! The website shut down. Fron now on I never ever trusted from HYIPs again Grin.
671  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All hope is lost?? on: May 30, 2020, 08:32:36 AM
Or I still have hope? How can I recover?
Hope whether the 10 eth you invested for another token will grow? We don't know because it all depends on how successful that token is. It also depends on how manage your current holdings. If I were you, I will not hesitate yo dump it once you find the right opening to do so because we don't know if its price will recover or not.

I guess you already learned your lesson Cheesy. Next time don't be be carried away by those "promising" alts. Be wiser dude. Old and well known alts are the one which is usually good. Eth is good to be honest so you can stick with it. Good luck.
672  Economy / Economics / Re: You want to get rich, don’t pay taxes, don’t get married, don’t use bank, and... on: May 30, 2020, 05:16:21 AM
But what is the point of earning lot of money without enjoying our life. Cheesy
You nailed it dude Wink.

Yes you can save more money by not paying taxes (though they are illegal) and by not having a lifetime partner especially that most women these days are shopaholic lol. BUT the question is, are you ready to live alone — living with tangible things most of the time? I don't think it's not the real meaing of happiness. Some of you might rebut "Well, I have money so I can buy girls if I want to", "I can travel anytime and meet different people" blah blah; hmm they're are nice but the bottom line is you are alone at the end of the day. There is no place like HOME, it is priceless. A huge mansion doesn't mean a sweet home, learn the difference.
673  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you donate in a casino? on: May 30, 2020, 12:23:20 AM
So my question here is, if you are a person who is willing to donate, what choice would you rather use:

  • Participate in special charity programs or
  • Have a permanent possibility to donate straight on the casino site?
Hmm, I guess I will go with charity programs instead of donating to the casino itself. At least some part of my money able to benefit the needy or be used in a purposeful deed and not only the casino. But first I want to know what kind charity program you will start for me to know if its really worthy or not.

You know what, my heart says that I don't really want to give my money directly to casinos despite of fhe crisis we are all experiencing. I mean, they are casinos, they are always earning. For sure they can breakeven in no time as long as there are existing gamblers out there (which is very true). But since the scenario says that we are willing then I have no choice but to choose between the two options lol Cheesy.
674  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any of holding these coins? on: May 29, 2020, 01:28:51 PM

I'm holding bags of these coins but its rare hearing from people on here about these coins, I hardly hear anything about them, what do you guys think?
Exactly! You (me as well) haven't heard these names usually so we can fairly conclude that most investors are not interested to it Cheesy. Most probably they are just the same with the rest of new tokens sprouting — only made for pumping and dumping. Actually, I search a little bit about Litecoin Cash to find out if its a legit hard fork of Litecoin. Yup it is! I think your hope will be alive here but chances for you to earn through this is bigger if you daytrade instead of holding for a long run.

Edit: @thesmallgod ~ you are fast lol.
675  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Just One Loss After Another on: May 29, 2020, 06:23:38 AM
Condolence Sad. I feel sorry for your loss. I know you are frustrated right now so please just forget about those private keys as it may stress you further. It's just money, it can be earned again.

Hmm I am not on the right position to say this but you should be strong. Do not let your sadness eat every part of you. It's okay to mourn but your kids needed you right now (if you have). I know it's hard but you must keep on moving for them.
who they later found out to be my Husbands male relative`s, all the men were wearing mask gloves etc, but apparently none of the men actually wanted to lift or touch the boxes, the men immediately started to argue over who should carry the boxes and who`s car they should be put in. The arguing escalated to fighting.
Shame on them! Why they are acting like your husband is not their relative at all Angry? You said that they are already equipped with PPEs and yet they feel disgusting. They are total cowards
676  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto is becoming legal in my country! Any business idea? on: May 29, 2020, 03:26:12 AM
Congrats you and the rest of crypto enthusiasts in your country Smiley. Good for you that you don't have to worry about possible law violations. What a relief!

Anyway, the business that I think of is bitcoin lending. I think this one is a great start for you, it's easy and you can make profits without exerting too much effort. Another business I think of is anything related to man's basic needs such as water station, rice dealer etc. Good luck.
677  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is good strategy or technique for Toss Coin? on: May 29, 2020, 01:09:03 AM
The probability of a coin toss can be solved smply by following the formula No. Of favorable outcomes/No. Of possible outcomss. So for a single coin toss, head or tails will be the numerator and head & tails will be the denominator which is equal to one-half or 50%. The only time that the probability can decrease or increase is when there are new conditions added. Like more than one coin is tossed, coins are tossed n times, and variations of favorable outcomes. But in the end, the same formula applies Smiley.
678  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mmorpg, Bitcoin, and Gambling on: May 28, 2020, 12:41:07 PM
I am not yet aware of this Dragon Tale but if their sole option for payments is only bitcoin then I don't think the game will not earn profits faster than the usual. Because they just depend on the recent adopters only. Gamers which are unaware of bitcoin would either find a hard time to cope with this new tech or most probably just choose to ignore and never buy because of hassle. Imagine the opportunities being wasted. So I guess much better if they also include fiat options Smiley.
I'm imagining about placing real Bitcoin bets in an individual/group duel, or even Siege wars or guild wars.
Selling/Buying rare items in a market place where you can opt to purchase or sell the item in Bitcoin, with this initiative, players will have the opportunity to actually buy the item in a cheaper price in number when Bitcoin pumps, or sell in a higher number when Bitcoin dips.
Hhmm, buying and selling in-game items with the use of bitcoin is cool. You are right! I'm sure that all the players will become bounty hunters seaching for the rarest items in exchange of bitcoin lol Grin. But on the other hand, I don't think using it for betting is a good idea. If ever implemented, it seems that the game devs are encouraging the teenagers or even kids to enagage with gambling (when there's a money related, it is now called gambling IMO). That's a bad example.
679  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are afraid on investing to bitcoin? on: May 28, 2020, 07:31:02 AM
You are right, you can make money by doing that. Hodling is the easiest and least risky way of investing to crypto. However, it is still not as easy as 1 2 3. Of course there are few factors you need to consider first most espacially the time frame. Like how long will you able to hold? Are you ready to miss small opportunities? Do you think your coins will be all worth it in the future? Assess yourself because maybe there are possible ways for you to earn faster than holding or maybe it is not worthy of your time at all. Nevertheless, hodling is fine. Just hope for a prosperous journey since you are only relying on fate of the universe Cheesy.
680  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you gamble to escape your problem? on: May 28, 2020, 04:55:52 AM
No and I don't see doing the same thing every time I feel broke. My main reason? Very simple, that was an expensive way of turning back from the reality Grin. I would rather go to seashore at night and drink beer fo forget my problems for the meantime

Well, there is nothing wrong of choosing to forget your problems once in a while. However, a problem remains a problem at the end of the day unless you make solutions. So don't forget to face all of thosethings, seek help from your loved ones too.  It will decrease the burden in your heart Smiley.
