I'm very happy with the pro btc motherboards. I got them from newegg one at a time, but at least they were only $70. They work great, setup fast and have no driver issues. 6 cards on risers from the start without a problem.

Risers are selling FAST. I'll be sold out soon. After this, it will probably be at least a week until I receive more.
to which boards are you refering with "the pro btc motherboards"?
663  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Official Anoncoin chat thread (including history) on: February 06, 2014, 08:23:04 AM
this happens when i2p is not running, or if the client SAM inside i2p isnt enabled.
if you disable i2p, it stops trying to connect to it.

Thanks K1773R. Still happens with stfu=1  :/
Its ok though as a new terminal window stops it from displaying.
i wasnt talking about stfu, i was talking about disabling i2p.
Code:
i2p=0

It was online yesterday =( I fear the dev. stopped working on this coin.

Here on bitcointalk? it says 25th of january.

I dont think he wouldnt say anything if he was to stop the forum...anyway lets wait...
well, he still didnt answer to my PM's regarding dnsseed, after donation from max ive created one. the pull request to add it (and some other minor fixes) has been ignored since then. so either hes just idling around, or hes too lazy to do anything

I keep getting the following error when running anoncoind on Ubantu:

Failed to connect to SAM(111)
Created a new SAM session (HNTTJ)  from another (BEILZLXM)
Closing SAM session (HNTTJ) ...
Failed to connect to SAM(111)

Failed to connect to SAM(111)

Is this normal? It's quite annoying to see it.

Also, the build from: https://github.com/Anoncoin/anoncoin
state:     "errors" : "This is a pre-release test build - use at your own risk - do not use for mining or merchant applications"

Should I be using a different version?

Thanks!

Edit: I only allow specific ports open (going out) so if there is a port that need to be opened other than the usual ones for anoncoind please let me know.

666  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cryptostocks - BTC,DVC,LTC denominated Stock Exchange/Crowdfunding Platform on: February 05, 2014, 11:32:51 AM
Well just look at JDBIF's original contract for example and you see that TRJ, TheRealJoker that runs the fund have been in violation of his contract for over a year. The shares have a face value of 0,01 btc each and he should pay 20% monthly dividend on that, so 0,002 btc per stock and month.

At the current issued amount ~2 500 000 stocks that's 5 000 btc each month he adds to his debt to the shareholders, well he actually payed around 1,8 btc in January so the debt "only" increased with 4998,2 btc in January.

The way he handled the stock and refuses to pay dividend accourding to the contract has brought the price down from 0,01 btc at the introduction the 9 july 2012 to the current level at 0,000030 btc, 10 days ago or something like that TRJ even pressed the price down to 0,000001 btc where he obviously thought it was good for him to sell at that price so he keeps diluting the share value for previous investors each month by his crazy sellouts of underpriced stocks. The stock has lost 99,7% of it's original value.
if you check the stuff he links, you see its just propaganda/marketing and therefore the chance for scam is really high Wink

Thanks for sharing Greedi Smiley

Guys did anyone manage to make this faucet work with any altcoin?
I think it should work if I just use the correct daemon, right?

I am really noob in the bitcoin world and got no clue how transactions are made. Any help would be nice.
i took a fork which fixed some ugly things and fixed the other ugly things.
you SHOULD change the sendfrom to a sendmany, otherwise you trash alot in fees. tough this needs some reading on how transaction work and you need few php skills.

Even if they do end up shipping on schedule, I don't think I'd buy from them again unless they offer a really good repeat buyer incentive. Simply because of the terrible customer experience..constantly checking here or on ecointalk to see if there has been a new forum post and nothing.. while Cointerra spoils their customers with high resolution pictures and detailed descriptions on what's going on every week.
seriously?
all that matters is when we get our devices and if they do what they promised us.
anything else is just marketing and wont earn you more BTC.
Yes, seriously. Why wouldn't I buy from Cointerra next time? They're actually manufactured in the US and they care more about their customers while BA just gives me stress and anxiety and uncertainty. We have yet to see an actual picture of even the damn cases. The only thing we've seen are the heatsinks.
so for you marketing is more important thant the device they will create. fine, u lost me...
enjoy being a consumer and dreaming of marketing/advertisement (sarcasm).

678  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [ANNOUNCE] Abe 0.7: Open Source Block Explorer Knockoff on: January 28, 2014, 08:17:29 AM
The original Abe UI seems too simple, any fork or branch with good looking? (any fork can show latest X blocks?)  Sad

I can only find one fork done for catcoin
then use it, UI is html + template stuff, so you can just port it to your abe.
